I have called them several times on different days, during their business hours with no response. I have left voicemails. I drove 35 mins to their location twice for a lawn mower repair and there seems to be no one is there. Sadly, I have sincerely tried giving this small business an oppurtunity but this is beyond frustrating. Lack of responsiveness.

I am an absolute skeptic when it comes to reviews. However these gentlemen went above and beyond. They repaired our lawn mower and got it running top notch. 3 days later I put some bad fuel in it and it wouldn’t crank after the lawn mower was running perfect. I told them exactly what the mower was doing and they called it over the phone, bad fuel, to be more specific water in the gas we got from the gas station.They said no worries bring it on back and we will look at it. We brought it back to them. They drained the fuel from in the tank. They then separated the fuel and water as fuel floats on water due to density and they were actually able to reuse our fuel they separated without the water and mower once again ran perfectly.They didn’t charge us anything to help us out. They were more concerned about taking care of their customer as supposed to taking advantage and charging us.So we bought a weed eater from them and it has been perfect a few months later.All in all, we trust them. We will be back to them to buy a chain saw.We will continue to do business with these guys even if they moved 2 hours away.I’m glad to see honesty in these days of BS Covid excuses to push customers to self help. Everyone has a Covid excuse of working from home and doing nothing, not these guys, proven reliable to us.Thanks guys.Craig D.

That place was great! Eric was able to help us and fix a lawnmower in 15 minutes. Lawnmower turned on so smoothly, and Im actually excited to mow my lawn now. I will be returning in the future when I need repairs or new lawnmowers.

These guys are great! Eric diagnosed the problem with our weedeater quickly; Jeremy went to pick up the part (on bicycle); Eric replaced the part; and Eddie handled the payment. All with very friendly service.

D & S Lawnmower Sales and Services, 514 Aldine Mail Rte Rd, Houston, TX 77037, is an awesome place to get service and repair on lawnmowers ans weed eaters. They are professional, very fast and very,very reasonably priced. I have used them several times and I have never been disappointed. My last service was on August 13, 2018 when I need my weed eater tuned up because it was acting funny and flooded out at higher RPMs. They fixed it in 1 day...awesome.

Took both of my pressure washers over to Eric and he had them ready in under an hour. Although labor and parts were not the cheapest, they were reasonable in comparison. I gave them 5 star because of honesty and superior quick turnaround service. That alone was worth every penny. I sure hope they keep running their business this way.

Very helpful repair shop. I had replaced my carburetor, spark plug, and filter on my Craftsman string trimmer model 316.711170. It still wouldnt start. The owner tuned the carburetor, and got the weedeater to start but it was still not running perfect. They Informed me that the motor was losing compression, and replaced it right on the spot with no problem. Pulled it once and it started up immediately and sounded great! They gave me a really good deal on the motor replacement.

This shop is great! I called ahead to check if they could fix my Troy Built lawnmower and Eric said no problem. Here in Atascocita I couldnt find one that I wanted to try. Out of the two nearby, one didnt work on my brand and the other had not so good reviews. I am glad I made the trip to Aldine. Eric, the owner, had my mower up and running in less than 15 minutes.

This place has been helping my dad for years. This is his go-to spot for lawn mower repair. The only complaint I have is the small parking area, but your wait will usually be a short time anyway. Unless, its a major issue. The last time I visited, I got an oil change and blades sharpened for only 25 bucks! It also only took about 15 minutes! He offered to help me put the mower in my car, also. Hopefully this is 200 words, because Im trying to obtain Level 5 Guide Status, haha.

I was mowing my lawn and shut off my mower to move stuff and it wouldnt start again. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plug and put fresh gas and nothing. I took it to D & S and they removed the head and fixed the problem within a few hours for under $100. They could have taken advantage of the situation but didnt. There is still good honest folks out there. Thanks guys
