My beloved mom passed away August 7, 2021 and the main reason for sharing this poor review is because I am hoping the Morales family will make improvements to avoid this from happening again. They have since tried to make things better but nothing can undo the experience of my sister coming in on the second day of viewing to my mom’s body leaking embalming fluids from her body. I’m not sure why this happened or it if it’s normal? When my dad passed away that didn’t happen back in 2008. I blame poor storage of her body but maybe because it took almost a week to view and bury her. The Delay was partially due to Covid and lack of priests to perform so many funeral services. Another delay was my mom had a prepaid package and the funeral home waited until Monday to verify that policy she died on a Saturday morning. And no we cannot take this policy elsewhere and have them honor it at the same value. We are stuck with them. It was a traumatic experience. I hope in the future employees inspect the families loved ones before allowing them to view the body.

In the most difficult time of our life I did not think I could get through the process of arranging my sons funeral. We worked directly with Destiny she was such a perfect match she was lovely through the whole process. Never once did she make it feel like a business proposal. She felt like family making sure everything was done just perfectly. The other staff members were also an amazing addition to making sure we had no worries. I recommend Morales as I felt comfortable having my son in their care.

This month we used morales services twice my grandmother passed away and a week later my father passed my aunt had recommended them since they had already got my grandmother and frm the moment we called once my dad passed it only took them a couple of hours to pick his body up frm the hospital we met with Victor and since my siblings and i had no idea were to even begin with all this process victor explained evrything with so much detail and really made evrything so much easier for us. We were pleased with the embalming first of my grandmother due to an accident she had lost her nose and they made sure to make her one they really dint have to do that but they offered tooAnd for my father due to hurricane nicolas his burrial had to be postponed for another week and keep in mind bcause of covid u already have to wait a week and a half to have the funeral service so my dads was on sept 13 burrial on the 14 burrial was moved back to sep 22 and his body was still the same way we were able to view him one last time our family was very pleased with evrything and still a week after they r still reaching out to us we r very thankful to the whole morales staff and will 💯 recommend it ..

Members from my family have had services there for over 50 years and that tradition brought them to my attention when arranging services for my sister two years ago and for my father a month ago. Not only are they professional and knowledgeable, they are compassionate, kind and tasteful. The home itself is charming and inviting. Joe Morales is an amazing funeral director. He was polite, professional, and down to earth throughout the planning process. Joe and his team were reliable during the visitation services and during the funeral mass and grave side service. Also, my father looked like himself in his casket; a detail that was important to me. I hope I don’t have to use their services again anytime soon but if I do, I would again feel comfortable with placing my loved one in their care.

My sister passed away a little over a month ago and it was definitely a very unsuspected death, so my family and I were very devastated by this tragedy that we were going to have to live with for the rest of our lives. Do NOT use them!!!!!!We used them previously in 2020 for our dads funeral so we decided to use them again for my sisters memorial in August 2021. Víctor was assigned as our director and seemed very helpful at first.The weekend of our memorial Víctor was off. The slid show and playlist were not played during the memorial because of his poor planning. He did not leave those tasks to anyone therefore they were not taken care of in his absence.We also had a plant arrangement disappear. Victor claimed the plant was put in the freezer because it was dying but I find it hard to believe that they’d put a dying plant in the freezer. Why not just water it if you’re so concerned?!!Víctor called to apologize but the damage was already done. They were paid in full but provided partial services. He claimed the owner was going to call me to discuss it but two weeks later and I still haven’t heard from Mr. Morales.I strongly recommend that you do not use this funeral home. They start off saying they’ll meet all your needs then once they’re paid, you’re forgotten about and no one cares.

My aunt was in hospice care and her passing was so hard for our family. When the hospice team gave me information to reach out to start making funeral arrangements I was lost. Lost in grief and being from a different state made it so much more difficult. Called different funeral homes and Morales Funeral Home gave our family the best support since the first contact. The process to transfer our loved one to another state was smooth and prompt. In a bad time Morales Funeral was a great support. Thank you for your service in our time of need.

Every staff member was friendly and understanding of our pain. They would answer our calls at all hours of the day and night. Weve used Morales services 2 other times prior to this recent loss. This loss was extremely hard on our family and the way the staff at Morales took care of everything it made it less painful. Although this Funeral Home is located in downtown Houston, which may seem inconvenient to some, it is centrally located and very easy to access. They have been in business a long time, and provided excellent service for our family as we honored our Mom. Everyone was very nice and helpful throughout the process, very prompt in answering questions and returning calls. I am comfortable recommending them to anyone who asks.

I am thankful that we found Morales Funeral Home when my Mom passed. It is never easy to lose a family member, and my Mom was my best friend and I cared for her 24/7 for the last 3 years of her life. Everyone at Morales funeral home from the receptionist to the funeral director helped my family at ever turn. They answered all questions and upfront with the cost and what our options were. We purchased funeral insurance and when my dad passed I just had to let the funeral home know and they dealt with them. The day of the funeral they made sure they were available in case we needed them. Having to deal with a loved one passing is hard enough and trying to get their funeral together can be even harder but Morales made it easier for me to focus on my mom and my family.

We couldnt pick a better place! From the first call, they treated us with great affection and empathy. All the service was spectacular ... they even put in certain details since they took the trouble to get to know us and to know what my son liked. We will always be grateful ...

I lost my loved one in the middle of this pandemic I had to repatriate the remains of my loved one to our country of origin I had read that it was a long and complicated process but they took care of everything absolutely everything and that was a relief for us and in two weeks my dear was being buried and I thank him very much it was absolutely fast and it was what you had been looking for in other places but no one offered it, until we found Félix morales funeral home, I will never have enough words to thank such excellent service, we went attended by Víctor and all his recommendations were so helpful to us, if I could give you 100 stars, I would give them to you, thank you very much 🙂

I really have good comments for the Funerales Morales staff, especially a thanks to Victor. Many times the distance makes us feel helpless even more in sad situations, but they helped me to professionally solve the whole process until cremation and delivery of my fathers ashes.Congratulations in advance for having a professionally prepared staff, in addition to speaking English and Spanish perfectly.

It is better to be prepared for these difficult days that do not grab you without funds, it is better a long-term sake than leaving the debt to your loved ones
