Im a resident @ Advenir @ the Med Center on Buffalo speedway. Havent been here quite a year yet, and my experience thus far has been pretty good. Im especially very fond of Warren. I received a large package today, Warren called me to let me know it had arrived and shared with me that I would need help placing it in my vehicle. I called my daughter she came over and Warren assisted her with loading the package into my daughters vehicle without question. Thank you Warren so very much, you really made my day because you didnt have to do it. God bless you young man in all of your days. I salute you and I love your smile.

I don’t recommend renting an apartment here, if you are female between age of 18-40. I had a 10 month lease during pandemic there. This place is full of predators. Yeah, the rent price is cheaper compare to nearby places, but that’s not worse jeopardizing your safety. Please, be safe girls. If you are hesitant, I hope you find my review helpful.Leasing office: the only person who has common sense is the property manager. The Hispanic lady, if she still works there. The leasing agents misrepresent basic information, for example: when they ask for the pet deposit they don’t disclose that it’s a fee and it’s non refundable. They just want your money. Then at the end of your move out you will get charged crazy fees as of the comments from other people’s show: $200 for the carpet, over $100 for wall painting.The buildings have paper thing delicate walls, so be ready to hear all your neighbors.There is another important information I’d to like share, if you feel like you need to protect your rights you could always contact TREC- TEXAS REAL ESTATE COMMISSION. It’s a state organization that was created to protect the consumers rights. Not a lot of people know they exist. I’m going to take this case further and contact them.Good luck, take care.

Moved to Houston from New York with my friend in September and spent forever looking for a good complex. Luckily we found this place and its been great so far. Maintenance responds right away, and the office gets back to us right away. Marcus helped us out with all of our questions when we first moved and everything has been great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move

Moved from Ohio to Houston and the first apartment I saw was Advenir at Med Center. I fell in love with the unit Alex showed me and was a little hesitant to apply because I hadn’t made a final decision to move yet. Alex kept in touch with me throughout the whole process and made it so easy for me to transition to Houston. If you’re looking for a place to move, ask for Alex at Advenir. She’s the bomb 😁. I really love my apartment and I can’t wait to explore Houston and experience the southern hospitality 😊😁.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The complex is always clean and quiet. Moving here was the best decision I made.

I moved in here about a month ago and everything was smooth and organized. The manager, Rosa was and has always been very polite and helpful every time I walk in there. The other leasing staff havent given me any reasons to complain either. Theyve been polite and helpful as well anytime Im there. I had to get a covered parking because of negative reviews I read from other people concerning parking and towing of guest vehicles. But honestly, so far I havent seen any indication of such as theres always more than enough spaces to park when I get home. Also I barely have visitors so I cant speak for sure on that. The place is pretty peaceful and decent as far as I can tell. Good drainage and swift responses from their maintenance guys.

Great community to live in. Its closer to all of the shopping stores, grocery stores, restaurants, NRG etc. Nice area for walking your dog and exercising around the lake. Management and staff are super nice!

Took a tour here recently. Really close to the Loop 610 and Medical Center. Place is really well kept and nice on the inside.

I have lived here since May of 2018. The property and enviroment have met my expectation of what an apartment home should be and then some. Very peaceful enviroment. clean, and pretty attractive. Convenient location to every where.

Moved in about a month ago. I do have to say that compared to where I moved from (Galleria) this place is 1000x cleaner. Even though its near the freeway/major intersection I cant really say the traffic is bad. They also offer trash pick up except on Saturdays. Cross my fingers but a few of my neighbors say this place never floods.... Cause Houston. Overall I like living here as its reasonably affordable & I havent seen a outside distrubances.

I have lived here for over a year and aside from your regular apartment hiccups it’s been a good experience. It’s really the leasing office for me! They are always pleasant and always going above and beyond to help me out! Always loved Alex and their newest team member Marcus is just as wonderful!!

I lived here for a year an a half. The apartments are decent looking, but most of them have appliances problems and very old A/C units, so be prepare to pay for large electricity bills. The leasing office service is the worst when it comes for something that does not benefit them. They ignored service request and somehow they charge you for a whole lot fees that are not even related with the apartments. Finally, many residents from the apartment complex like to smoke weed on their balconies and parking lot, so be prepared to get marihuana smell all over your apartment.

So thankful for Warren, he’s the best!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen this is a 5/5 Amazing apartment complex. Management and staff are one of a kind with excellent customer service. The property manager Rosa is always so friendly and willing to help you. Maintenance response is promptly and do an excellent job. I love the location with easy access to the freeway and it’s close to everything you need. One of the best places you can call home.

Overall I had a great move in experience. I did run across a few things wrong with my unit and once I put in a request those things were fixed. I love it here

Parking is horrible for residents they basically force you to get covered parking for an additional fee.

If I could give ALEX 8 stars I would. She took care of me and made my move in process very easy and simple. Great problem solver and communicator. My apartment is great. If I had any issues, they were there the next day to address the problem and solve it.

What a nightmare!!! Most of the reviews on here are from current residents since they have monthly drawings for residents who write reviews so beware! First let me say, I didn’t have any problems with previous management besides the known parking issue and the occasional loud neighbor. However, under new management, I do have two MAJOR issues.1. My husband’s truck was almost stolen out of the parking lot. They supposedly have security on the grounds at night. I never saw security. My husband got an alert on his phone that his truck security had been disabled at 3am, but he was sleeping and just happened to wake up around 5am. After looking at his phone, he looked out the window to find his truck in the middle of the parking lot, attempting to be stolen. He ran outside to chase off the thieves but they of course were never caught and we had to pay our $500 insurance deposit to fix the truck because they severely damaged it in attempt to steal. So where was the security for TWO hours while my husband’s truck is being stolen?? Very unsafe feeling.2. Move out charges are outrageous. I transferred to another apartment in the same complex and was not charged these outrageous fees. $160 to repaint apartment? No pictures of “damage” provided. Paint is considered normal wear and tear unless it’s something insane. $200 to replace carpet. Our pet had no accidents. Very well house trained. No stains on carpet. The pictures they provided of damage were of the bottom of the carpet. No pictures of how the carpet was left. The carpet could have water damage from something else. Very shady business. Sent a letter to the apartment disputing the charges, and they just sent the bill to collections.So unless you want to have these people charge you with outrageous move out fees, I would find somewhere else to live.

DO NOT MOVE HEREThe management here is terrible. There is a dog living here that is a known nuisance to the community. It has killed one residents dog and put another residents dog in the hospital. It has attacked several others and management knows and they refuse to do anything about it. They wont be satisfied until it is you or one of your children in the hospital! beware and stay away if possible!!! It is not safe. The owner and dog still roam freely as if they have not terrorized the community enough.

I am posting because I feel all these 1-Star ratings are grossly misleading. I have lived here since July 2018. Overall, I love my renovated apartment. I have never had a roach problem. My maintenance requests are (except once) responded to within 24 hours. The maintenance staff and the office staff, in almost all instances, have been helpful and congenial. I have looked around due to the concerns I will delineate below, but have found nothing in this price point that comes close if you want to be this close to the Med Center. For an additional $300-$700 a month you can, in fact, do better. So if you can afford the pricier unit, go for it. These are the down sides as I have experienced them: 1. The parking issues you find in many reviews are accurate. The parking is very limited since, unlike a number of other complexes in the area, this one does not have a multi-level parking garage. As a person who lives alone with minimal guests it has not been a problem. But if you have a very active social life and have numerous visitors you will find the parking situation difficult. 2. Inconsistent enforcement of the complex policies - trash cans, grills, illegal parking. 3. Security - although I have NEVER had or seen an issue, it is true that a. The entry gates are broken all to often, the walk through gates are often propped open, and one of them hasn’t locked for at least 6 months despite myself and others notifying the office. 4. This complex began a renovation process for its aging apartments, but there has not been a long term investment in renovation unlike its counterpart just down the road. Aggressively completing the renovations, which are nice but not as high quality as it’s counterpart, would make for a great community at a more affordable price.

Very wonderful place. I love the area. The management is so nice and you can depend on them just so you are good with your apartment.

Team Med are Awesome!

The first thing I loved about my choice was the price of the floor plan! Super economical and close to the city. The property offered an average pool and fitness center, plus the office made the transition easy breezy.Before moving in, I asked the office what the most complaints would be and the immediate response was parking. Parking is definitely an issue since it is on a first come first serve basis. Ive had MULTIPLE experiences where I was just driving around the property for hours, waiting for someone to leave-- one of these experiences leading up to 4 in the morning. This also counts for your visitors. Visitor parking is spread throughout the property but again, not so many to go around.Another issue I had was at the very end of my lease when I was ready to say goodbye. The office notified me about my renewal offer four months in advance of our move out date, which we were not interested in. I later receive a call with less than a month from our move out date asking if we would renew. After politely refusing their offer, they proceeded to state that we werent allowed to move out due to failure of giving a 60 day move out notice. We ended up paying an exceedingly high amount of rent for our last month since we had to go on a month to month basis.I give this property a two because the experience was mediocre. The two issues I had were not up for discussion with the office only because 1.) The contract didnt promise me a parking spot and 2.) The contract did say there was a 60 day notice. SO IN CONCLUSION... make sure you put a reminder on your phone because the office will try to squeeze in that extra month (maybe even more) if you dont remember yourself and also make sure you come prepared to fight for a parking spot!

Shout out to the leasing agent Ernesto! Friendliest staff all the way around. Definitely made me feel apart of the community right from the get go. Can’t say I’ve dealt with a friendlier leasing agent than Ernesto. 10/10 would review again.

Been here For a while now couple of weeks and I have loved it. The staff here has been super helpful. Recently had a small problem and Ernesto I think is his name helped me out with no hesitation. Very helpful and respectful.

Living at Advenir is a great experience. Alexandria is wonderful. She is so lovely, sweet and welcoming and remembers my name every time. She is always available to help you with everything. The mail service is fantastic; I havent experienced issues with mailing boxes and sometimes dont need to say my unit number because they already know it. The maintaining staff is very prompt, and we feel safe living here. It is a healthy environment to live, relaxed and calm.

The staff there was amazing and they gave me a lot of great information that made the process me moving in. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking to move in!!!!!!

I really enjoy living at the Advenir! The ladies in the leasing office are always kind and helpful! Its close to work and pretty central to everything. The property is quiet and clean also. Anytime I have a maintenance issue it is resolved quickly.

I’ve been here since July 2018 and love it here! Since moving in Alex was by my side every step of the way. If I ever had a question I could call and she would be there for me! I haven’t had any issues with maintenance, roaches, or noisy neighbors. They are pet friendly too. This is a very convenient apartment complex close to the stadium, restaurants, the galleria, and downtown! Rent is decent for the location. I have moved to a bigger apartment in this same complex for that reason. I would 10/10 recommend.

I moved in August of 2019 and have had a very positive experience here. The staff is friendly and the mail room service is a big plus for me. The security is good. Only downside is that there is very limited visitor parking and often times it’s impossible to even find resident parking when it’s past 10 PM.

Everyone in the Leasing Office and the Maintenance crew is very pleasant and accommodating. Never being able to make it to the Leasing Office before they close in order to pick up packages, Chastyni agreed to have my items placed inside my apartment home, as a courtesy. The property is clean and safe. Hidden Gem!

In my apartment search I stopped here as my last resort. The property is gorgeous. The staff was magnificent. They were very helpful. I definitely recommend this property to all!

I have been treated very well here! The fitness center is small yet great and does the job. I love how there are so many near by shopping stores and everything is very close in proximity for everyday wants and needs.

I looked up reviews of this apt complex before signing my lease. Now that I’ve lived here, here is my experience.The ppl at the front office are friendly but aren’t much help if your problem is complicated.Now the roaches. I hate bugs. And I am a clean person and i kept my apt neat and tidy and clean. And no matter what i did, i couldn’t get rid of the roach problem. I asked the apt to come spray inside about twice a month. The pest control company they hired just went around my apt spraying poison out of a can, which is a first because at my previous apt complex, the poison was sprayed out of a handheld tank (which solved the roach problem btw). Nonetheless, the can didn’t do much. I’ve set foggers, roach traps, and even put peppermint oil in my air diffuser cause i read online that roaches didn’t like peppermint oil. And even with all that, i saw maybe 2 per day. My only consolation is that they were the german roaches and not the american roaches.Also, there were ants in the bedroom carpets but i didn’t really see them unless they had a reason to come out. One time i was eating cereal in the living room and i dropped a cereal pebble and it went underneath the couch. The next morning, i saw a trail of ants from the bedroom to the cereal pebble.Lastly, the parking situation. Not enough parking spots if you come home late at night.Other than that, neighbors don’t get too loud. I can occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs, but that’s about it. The apt complex on the outside is kept clean. Its gated and has a security guard that drives around at night, which makes me feel better being a female and all. All my appliances work, there’s a washer/dryer in all the units. I would say living here has been decent enough. I know i am not going to get the “royal treatment” being a renter. I would probably rent from here again if im back in Houston due to the location. Just take alt-90 to get to BCM/the city and the rail is a short drive away if you wanna do public transit, no need to hit 610 unless you’re trying to get to Katy or something

This is a warm home. The apartment is very comfortable and the management is very nice. This is probably the most livable neighborhood around. Ive lived here for three years and I dont want to move anywhere else.

Remarkable and wonderful property and maintenance management .Very convenient location and secure community, the property is well taken care of and the staff are very friendly and responsive. Mark Silvas has been very thorough and hard working and I have a high admiration for his work and dedication to the community and residents. The only and most professional property manager works here .Mr. Mark has been a joy to know and has been there a short time and knows everyone by name. He is always there and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is in tip top shape and responds to maintenance requests immediately. I would highly recommend Advenir at The Med Center to anyone relocating to Houston or current residents that are ready for lock-and leave peace of mind.

Wow just wow! I recently just started looking at new apartments due to the fact that my lease is up in the next 2 months and a leasing agent went about and beyond with my experience. Showing me and guiding me to the perfect floorplan for my situation. Ernesto was kind, listened and answered every one of my questions. Advenir is now a serious contender in my apartment search. Im glad I stopped by on a whim.

I was looking for a place for me and my boys and the apartment that was shown to us was really nice. The lady that showed us the apartment was extremely nice and really patient with me and my boys. She made us feel like we were the priority.

ADVENIR at The Med Center ......They have very professional employees on site and when you call for information about the floor plans, they are very thorough in answering your questions. The young lady I spoke with was extremely nice and very fluent on the information I asked about the property and prices as well. Stop by I promise you will love them.

Apartments are amazing,if your looking for quiet and a peaceful environment this is the place you would wanna be .

Dont be fooled by the other comments and look somewhere else. The five star reviews are done by people who want the prizes they give each month at the office. Let me start by saying you will lose your whole deposit and still be charged more at the end even if you clean your whole apartment by the end so be ready. The parking is still an issue at night and let me tell you something about break in cars and apartments and you will get notified only by your neighbors, because the administration wont tell you anything about it. Be ready for the cockroach infestation youll have at the beginning of your contract it took us three months to get rid of it (We lived on a second floor). Utilities go up each month so dont expect to pay the same or less each month. We already talked to management about the deposit, because it doesnt seem fair to pay $105 to clean the whole apartment for one spot on the stove. Consider yourself warned! In conclusion: forget about your deposit and expect to pay more by the end! Added the pictures of our move in conditions. Even cockroaches in the fridge. Edit: doesnt let me add photos, if you want to see them let me know!

The complex itself is nice but they put us in the loudest unit possible! The neighbors above us in 15202 are extremely loud at all times. We have complained numerous times via emailing the leasing office, calling the leasing office,  going into the leasing office and calling the regional manager. Still nothing has been done to resolve the issue. We now have to call the police anytime we want to have peace!

The young man in the leasing was awesome. He answered every question that I had to ask.

I haven’t had any issues with roaches, and rarely have trouble finding parking even when I’m getting home from a late night. Also you can’t beat the location, right across from NRG stadium, not too far from Universities and the Medical District.
