My Husband needed alterations on his Leather Race Suit. We looked up William, and gave him a call. He immediately said, “Bring it I can do it”. We drove 3 hours on Easter Sunday and he made perfect alterations within 2 hours... We highly recommend Mr. William, very nice and awesome seamstress!!! Now we’re headed back to Louisiana!! Im not sure if William actually speaks English, though he definitely understands it..! And he knows how to alter anything; its not that it just fits better, its also a lot less expensive and a lot faster. Ive been in the Galleria for 30 years and Ive been to all the top tailors none come even close to William. Hes amazing.

Was very fortunate to find William the Tailor. Needed the sleeves shortened on my buffalo leather motorcycle jacket. I had a beautiful leather coat (not a bomber jacket) that I hadnt been able to wear because the sleeves were too long. Had spoken with different tailors who had told me that nothing could be done. William did such a beautiful job that I can now wear it anywhere. Plus he was on the ball and texted me a day before it was supposed to be ready that it had been done.

Found William on Google on a Sunday and he very nicely accepted to work on my slacks the same day as I needed them for later that evening. He was very nice, courteous and professional. Hi, I am sorry that I have to rank your store 1 star. The reason is as follow; I left my Tiger og Sweden computer bag ($350) there to fix the ripped leather attachments rings for the straps. When I delivered the bag, both of the attachment points was ok and attached to the bag, I just wanted to make them stronger since they where ripping the leather around the support. The jobb took them almost two weeks. After I had paid and was on my way out I was trying to mount the strap, and I saw the one attachment point was missing. The bag looked raped and cut at the edges were they should fix. (The attachment point for the strap was found in one of the pockets) I walked in and got my money back, but my bag was broken and in a bad shape. I should have asked for a compensation.

William does tremendous work. He reconstructed the lining of a vintage leather jacket of my husbands, and the workmanship was absolutely outstanding and the price was surprisingly reasonable given the amount of work involved in this complex project. I would recommend him to anyone!

Awesome place of business. I went in to get my measurements. He went ahead and measured and gave me the different styles of measurements used. Best of all he didn’t charge me because all I needed was the measurements. Great individual! I’ll be back to get some work done on my suits due to the hospitality!

I originally found out about William The Tailor through one of my friends for his weddings. We took our tux to William to have some alterations and the turn around was quick. Fast forward to today i have another wedding to attend this weekend and needed some items tailored. I was told it would be done tomorrow; however, less than 2 hours later i received a text saying my clothes were ready! Very personable and remembers you.

Ive been giving William my business for 6 years now. Every time, Ive come to find the same impeccable quality and reasonably priced services. Are there cheaper out there? Yes, but you Will never find them to have a better quality than Williams. William had worked on the most simple things as hemming my pants to tailor fitting entire high couture suits for me and every time Ive been very satisfied with his work.Be careful or others using his name. He is the original tailor who moved from his previous Voss location to now on Westheimer. He also speaks Spanish. Id recommend William to anyone needing an excellent tailor.

Simple, Clean, Cheap, and Personalized. The only a few problems.1.I didnt receive my suits with the nice branded hooks I came in with- I left with some generic ones.2. He told me theyd be ready for pick up on a certain night and I came in the following morning to give him room to prepare. He didnt have them ready to go3. I was late for work.4. I paid upfront and this happened anyways.Aside from that, William is the man.

I simply cannot tell you how happy I am with his services! I had an emergency dress alternation which I needed next day! I got the dress to him at 8:00PM! and he had it ready by 10AM the next day ready for my sisters wedding. I will definitely be using him again. William did a great job at fixing my suit. I first brought the blazer and later came on a Saturday and asked if he could also get the pants fixed - which he did on the same day! He has great hours during the week and weekends so you can probably come pick up things after work.Although I can only speak for men’s clothes, he did mention he can fix dresses.To locate his office, go through the front glass doors (in the middle on the building), go upstairs, and take the first right. Prices are reasonable and within the ranges around the area.

They did a very bad job the first time. They said they will correct it. Went back after a week to collect it and they said its been a week so they will have to seaech for it. Took like a hour to search it and the trousers were all puffed up. Looked weird and they offered it to me for free. However I paid the money and I am never going back. The customer service is really bad.

I went to William because of the great reviews on google. I was not disappointed. The price for fixing my pants was very fair and he did an awesome job. The staff is also friendly. I am definitely going back!

I went to William to get fully measured for a custom suit. He carefully got every measurement we needed to complete the suit and I sent in the numbers for development. The suit came in and to no exaggeration, was 95% perfect. I could wear it right out of the box if I wanted to but I went back to William for very minor alterations. Fantastic experience, would highly recommend.

I agree with all of the other reviews - this guy is cheap and hes fast. His shop is cluttered, he wants cash.Let him fix the length and waist of your pants, and sew things up. He has done several things for me and it turns out fine.Dont take your wedding dress there 2 weeks before you get married - DUH.

Been going there for over 10 years. Use to be great. Not so much anymore. Prices still low, but quality has gone down. Plus, place is dirty and cluttered. Further, service is spotty. Came in today with 3 suits and 3 shirts. He didnt have time to do it since he was dealing with a guy who came off the street to sell him on a water softener. Instead, he had someone from the back come to fit me. The guy didnt know what he was doing. He insisted I had to fit the shirt before I fit the suit. I had to explain to him that I doubted this would be the only shirt I would wear with that suit so the shirt didnt matter. Waste of time. I wont be back.

I wanted to shorten my wedding dress. I found this tailor on internet and I chose him because good reviews,and because it was close to my home. I explained what length I want,I said I want it to be straight, And asked to cut it right where the floor is. He told me he understood, made some marks with needles, and said to come back in some days. When I came back and tried it on I was in shock!!!I I was standing in fitting room and waited for him for another 20 minutes, when he finally appeared, I asked him how is that possible? 1. The dress was too short, 2. first layer was shorter then second one and on the left side it was shorter even more, so it looked like there is no piece of cloth. When I tried to talk, he was not so good in English, and this was making situation even worse! What he said, that it`s my dress designed like that!( If it is so, why do you ask me if I want it to be straight or not???, so he asked and did vise-versa) .He suggested me to replace the top layer, and I agreed. But I couldnt leave my dress there. Who know what can happen to it again! I supposed to have a wedding the end of that week.And I said, whenever you find the material give me a call, I`ll come over immediately with my dress. He promised me, that he will give me a call next two days, whenever he finds this material. That`s why I was not looking for another tailor( I would do)!!! And he didnt call, nothing. Just gone. Of course, we didnt pay that day, and he didnt say anything. Because, I hope, he understood what kind of thing he did to my Wedding dress, this is so irresponsibly! If you dont know how to do it, if you`ve never done it before - why do you take it! There are too much bad emotions about this place, I would not recommend people go there.
