Unfortunately this drycleaners is unorganized and has lost my dry cleaning twice! Came home today and discovered I was missing 14 dresses. We always drop off several pieces at once so its easy to not realize something is missing when loading it into the car. Called to let them know and they claimed nothing was missing at first. After I gave them the item code from the dresses I was missing it turned out they made the assumption I took those items and just marked it as complete. Thankfully they found my clothing and we are able to go back to get it this evening. This place is unapologetic and lacks professional. Its ashamed because their prices are very reasonable, but theyve lost our business. Im pretty sure theres others that are missing clothing and dont even realize it.

WORST DRY CLEANERS I’ve ever been to. The entire staff has a terrible attitude. Specifically the young front desk worker and the old lady. Don’t expect to be greeted, thanked for your business, or even acknowledged as a paying customer. Instead you will be treated like garbage. They don’t properly dry clean your clothes, stains left on clothes every single time, AND they expect you to pay when dropping off clothes. Take your business elsewhere.

Ive been coming here for almost 10 years however the service continues to go downhill w/ the new owners. Theyve broke the buttons on every one of my shirts the last 5x, they lost my leather jacket, they wanted to charge me $50 for one basket of towels. To add insult to injury, they are really not that friendly either.

Not the most friendliest ladies checking your things in or out but they are professional 🤷‍♀️ and clothes are always ready when they say it will be, sometimes sooner!

Decent place. Need to get the hours on the door to match the hours online. And the employees need to remove the “open now” sign when they are closed for the day.

Been here a few times since new management and did not experience any problems. Clothes are clean at very reasonable price. I hope they keep up the good work.

SVC has very poor service and are rude. Ever since they changed from Shelton Family Cleaners to Spring Valley Cleaners, they have lost one of my items and are exceptionally rude in person and when answering the phone. One lady that i spoke to via phone was laughing when she answered and then proceeded to have an attitude when I asked her if my order was ready, when I had requested that they call me and let me know when the order is done. I only come here once or twice a year to drop off tablecloths for work because they are close to my office but after having several experiences of their rudeness and mistakes and quality of service, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

How many dry cleaners do you find with >3 star rating? Shelton Family Cleaners has well-deserved their high ratings.The quality of work and customer service is great. On top of that, this is a very cheap cleaners compared to most that have much much worse service.Its out of the way for me but well worth it to not have my clothes returned still wrinkles and ripped.

Quality has declined over the last few years while the price has gone up. The people working the counter are also less friendly. I watched the owner argue with a customer over a missing item and that was the final straw for me.The clothes have a terrible smell due to the process/chemicals theyve been using for dry cleaning. It smells musty. Luckily I found a cleaners where they are nice and my clothes smell fresh.

As the days go by, the quality levels of service decrease in this place. They lose your clothes, do not remove stains that you requested to remove and they damage your clothing by stapling the receipts onto them. Price and attentive staff are the only pros of this place.

Unfortunately, the recent reviews are correct: Shelton Family Cleaners is now Spring Valley Cleaners, with completely different management. My wife and I have had skirts lost, shirts damaged and have submitted items for alteration that were returned without the requested alterations. This is very sad, because of the high quality that we knew at Shelton family cleaners. The review below from a former employee is very telling.

The quality of cleaning has dropped since Shelton Family became Spring Valley. Twice now, my clothes have come back either smelling moldy or covered in fuzz. While the staff are very friendly, timely and efficient customer service has also taken a hit. Please make sure to get back to the high standards of quality and customer service set by Shelton Family!

Great dry cleaner, theyre not only affordable, but quick and friendly to boot. If you need a rush job they will try and accommodate it if they at all can. However if you get there early enough, they do a same day turn around. Ive had suits, and shirts cleaned here numerous times, and the result is always great.

The new management sucks to be honest. It used to be great. The quality used to be good, but now the quality and overall experience there is terrible. I would barely give it 1 star and would not recommend.

Very good prices and they do a great job. However, my button downs do not smell that great. Kind of like my Grandparents old house. Maybe they use an unscented detergent or something... I will go back though

I have been a customer of this business for last four years. I dont know what happened to them, changed management or what, but whatever it is the new management knows nothing about customer service. exceptionally unprofessional to say the least. They lost my shirt two months ago, and didnt want to accept responsibility. Then just last week they shrunk my completely brand new shirt with I bought for $250. When I complained I was told that I need to talk to manufacturer. ?????!!!!!!! Management didnt even have the courtesy to give me a call. you might want to think twice if you are giving them your high quality clothes. I am taking my business somewhere else.

Quality of service has indeed decreased. One of my shirts was lost, and a few pieces of clothing was still dirty. Also prices are going up but quality is going down.

This review isnt personal but the reason is I feel betrayed by the new co owner Jesus Leon (Chuy) after I did my job following the rules even after the other co workers didnt. I never missed a day of work with out a reasonable excuse and after I covered 2 positions for only $8.50 an hour. I covered other peoples positions/shifts who wouldnt show up to work. Unfortunately I want to post this review because he (co owner) is being unfair by giving some employees privileges and the other employees no privileges which is not being able to drink water or snack when there is no air conditioning so its really hot in there. Co workers have called me names such as b**** which is very disrespectful. Also he is pressuring the employees who iron. One employee brings her 3 kids to work who spends full day there and has them sit next to the boilers which is very dangerous! Also many times the store doesnt open on time because the co owner stays sleeping so sometimes I would open. He would show up around 10am sometimes even 12pm. Irresponsible! I have gone to his apartment to wake him up by the way. Which things like that lead to lost clothing/items and customers are unsatisfied. There was one time he took money out of my check because he lost an order. I am very disappointed.He gave me permission to take my one week vacations and when I showed up for work he had hired someone else and replaced me!!!!!!I just want to tell Mr. Bell thank you to be a great original owner and manager because I started working with you and you are a totally different person and an amazing person with people.

I have never had a problem with this place. It has been a great cheap place that does most if not all dry cleaning on site. I will return again and again.

Horrible cleaners. Ruined my $300 custom men’s shirt then wouldn’t take responsibility or return it to me. Guessing they lost it. Filed police report and filing civil suit for principle of matter. Owner never available and no manager on duty. Worst customer service ever!!

I started using them because they were close to home, and more importantly, cheap. However Ive been taking clothes there now for over a year and have only ever had one issue - for some reason, I took about 15 pair of pants in and 4 were pressed flat instead of with a crease. No problem, just took the pants in, showed them, and it was fixed immediately. Very nice people too. Breaks every dry-cleaning stereotype.

Ive been a customer since they open and it was the best. The new management really sucks. He damaged 3 garments and he told me that he has no time to check every item and claimed I damaged my own cloths; he also said that for his prices is what I got. Ridiculous!!! Even his employees complain about him. AWFUL PLACE

I have been there two years. The last time I went they dry clean my very expensive sweater. When I wear it there were a hole on my sleeve, after I took there told them they just denied it. It make me very mad. The dry cleaning price went up. It said $2.50 per item but it’s not.

Great, fast and courteous service. I was amazed to find and bag attached to clothes that state items we found, I opened the bag and there was $40. Honesty like this make me smile everyday. Thank you Shelton Staff!!!

They have not cleaned my jacket at all since I could still smell my perfume on it and see dirty spots around my pockets, but they charged me for the service that they haven’t provide!!When I asked them for refund the front desk lady acting so rude and refused to refund me.I’m never gonna go back there!!

I have $146.99 white blouse took this dry cleaner. They damage my blouse. They tried to clean second time but black stains still there. They said boss will be call me in two days but I wait for 4 days still no responded. I called back again still no responded. I went there boss really rude and yelled to me only can pay $20 for white blouse I’m not satisfied it. So I tried to call the police but he did it. Police officer come to write th report! A lot of harsal bad bad service. I’m never ever go this place again!

Taking my business elsewhere! If i could give 0 stars, i would!We have been using Shelton Family Dry Cleaners for the past five years. Ever since new management has taken over, (now called Spring Valley Dry Cleaners) the customer service, the work and attention to detail has suffered.We noticed my husbands shirts have shrunk, although we have had these shirts laundered at shelton before and had no issues multiple times, all of a sudden shrinkage is happening. Also, they have been poorly pressed and come with wrinkles where I either have to iron or steam them.I brought this to the attention of the girls working there, they were nice to take my number down to have the owner contact me and see if they can put a credit on the account. 5 days goes by, no call. I went in today and said I request a call from the owner.The owner calls and gets very defensive, trying to talk over me and not wanting to listen. I asked him to let me finish, still wanting to talk over me. Telling me it’s the manufacturer issue. We have never had shrinkage issues the 8 other times these shirts have been brought to the cleaners. Again, he was very defensive and not wanting to listen. I ended the call after letting him know they just lost us as customers. I will take my business elsewhere and make sure that the neighbors/friends I have referred also take their business else where.HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!

The new owner of this place is unfair with his employees! His employees are always working hard and arent even allowed to drink water or snack when its hot! (no air conditioning) he got rid of 3 employees in just 1 week for no reason. After one of them (Zoila Barahona) who was covering 2 positions front desk,and also tag position for 8.50 an hour. 3 months ago she asked for her vacations and the co owner told her if she finds someone to cover her then she could have her vacation so she did get her 1 week vacation and when she showed up for work the co owner had hired someone to replace her which is unfair!!! Also has one employee who he lets snack and drink which is unfair and she takes advantage of her co workers.

Well ever since they got new management they have been terrible. I am getting married this Saturday and not only did they turn my bridal sweater peach when it was clearly white and they claimed they lost it now after trying to fix it. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone now.

Customer service has unfortunately gone downhill and new manager doesn’t seem concerned about customer service. They sent me a notice saying my clothes were ready. Took time out of my schedule to come in only to find out order wasn’t actually ready and staff really didn’t care about why their system doesn’t work.
