Needed some blouses and suits dry cleaned asap and was recommended this place by a close by cleaners that wouldn’t be able to meet my time crunch. That being said, Collegiate Cleaners provided fast and friendly service! Was slightly concerned by not paying beforehand because most businesses don’t run like that anymore (they have you leave your name and contact info and you pay on pickup) but it worked out well. Definitely will be coming back! Highly recommend.

Me and my best friend were not pleased with the results. Very unprofessional when the owner walks out to threaten to tow you because he thinks youre stealing his parking.

DO NOT GO HERE. I veered from my trusty dry cleaner (Shout out to Spring Valley Cleaners on i10 by my office) and came to Collegiate because I needed some stuff done quickly for a trip. Little did I know I would leave spending 3 to 4 times what I spend at my usual spot and with a ruined dress and ruined top. I even asked Greg when I dropped off how much it would be and if I needed to pay before and he said dont worry about it, you can pay upon pick-up and Ill key it in later to save you time. The top having stains was my fault, and I took ownership of that... but instead of the Greg leaving it and calling me (he had my number!) or leaving it and telling me upon pick-up he went ahead and dry cleaned it anyways and then charged me $10.45, see photo- grey linen 2 spots from bleach-- he even put it on the receipt and didnt call me to tell me! When I got home from picking up everything, I noticed there were holes in an expensive work dress of mine (see photo and please note I have not received my $14.25 refund he promised two weeks ago). I called the shop, went into the shop, took the dress to be tested at the lab for why it had holes (ummm it didnt have them when I dropped it off, so....) and gave them until August 10th (two weeks) to make it right or I would start spreading the word that they are a terrible business. Greg dry cleaned a top that was already ruined and charged me, ruined my dress, has not called me back about the lab results or with any update, and has not reimbursed me for even a portion of the $108 trip. I love to support local, but I do not like to do business with people who have terrible customer service, are completely unreasonable, and who happy to let customers walk out the door without even trying to make it right. I will never return and I hope you all choose go elsewhere too.

We have been using Collegiate Cleaners for several years and they have always taken very good care of our clothes. Always manage to take stains out and they always treat you with a smile. With the freeze, water pipe in our bedroom exploded, soaking A LOT of my clothes, blankets, duvets, sheets. With no water or power at home, I took all of soaked, stained with ceiling insulation clothes, blankets, duvets to them... everything came back perfect!!!Really ugly stains caused by ceiling insulation, all gone. They did not loose a single sock. They dry cleaned what needed to be dry cleaned, they delicate wash everting that needed delicate cycle and regular washed everything else.AMAZING work!!!

Went to four other dry cleaners about tape adhesive residue on my suit pants and was told everything from, no idea what to do about that to we can give it a shot but cant be responsible for damages. I went to Collegiate and they knew exactly what the adhesive was before I said anything and they knew exactly how to handle it. I had my pants back the next day in perfect condition. I have since made Collegiate my permanent dry cleaners!!!

Staff always have a smile on there faces. Very friendly and make coming into the cleaners enjoyable. Staff goes above, and beyond to make customers happy.

The front people are patient and helpful. My experience was silk, very thin silk that had many spots from my first time wear and CC got them out.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT GO HERE! They damaged my two best shirts both over $150 tops. They offered to fix it and actually made it worse, then wanted to bill me for damaging my blouses and repairs to the shirts. They actually left dirtier than they arrived and my pearl top is ruined. When I spoke with the owner and told him that I was not going to pay for them to damage my clothes and that he should be compensating me for the damages, he told me the conversation was over and hung up the phone. UNPROFESSIONAL & DISRESPECTFUL.

My wife left her sandals for repair in May 2015 and it got lost. It was an expensive item for more than 100 usd value. They said that they would look for it but they never found it. We talked to the manager but it didnt solve the problem. We didnt receive any reimbursement or anything. I wouldnt recommend this place. And if you use their services make sure they give you a receipt listing everything that you left in for repair so that you can claim its value back in case they lose it.

Ive been using collegiate cleaners for 20 years, and Ive never been disappointed.

When I showed up to pick up my tux shirt, a day after they said it would be ready and the day i needed it, it had a blue spot on the front and missing buttons. Manager said he would fix both and call me. Two weeks later i show up and they cant find my shirt. That was the last time i saw the manager as he mysteriously was never around any other time i came to resolve the issue and wouldnt call or reply. After filing a claim they asked for an estimate of the value of the shirt, i got that estimate from Joseph A. Bank where i got the shirt. They replied thats too much and gave me a check for $30 less than the value of the shirt. I guess they know better. Stay away!
