I loved my hair cut. The only issue is that I have gone 3 times now to get a trim yet zero humans. Google shows them to be open. They need to update their open and closed times. OR figure out why zero humans are there.

Great location, kind and courteous, never a dull moment because the staff arent just barbers, theyre comedians too. Theyre always giving back to the community with charities and always support other locals. Ive been getting my haircut from Eric for almost 15yrs now and I dont trust going nowhere else. I’ve been getting my haircut by the owner Eric for a few years now and he does a great job in his craft. A cool down to earth guy who know how to cut hair. His staff are friendly and professional at what they do. I rarely hear any complaints about their business and that a credit on the hard work they perform. Just recently I took my son to get a haircut and Eric took the time to make my son feel comfortable and have fun at the same time. Great local spot for a good price.

I had a great experience the cut was nice and clean everyone in the shop was very nice polite and welcoming the guy who cut my hair took his time but wasn’t to slow I believe the barber that cut my hair was named Junior he really knew what he was doing I went in with long hair and out in no time look clean and fresh hell I looked good going in but looked even better coming out I felt good I’ll be coming back here for my cuts from now on and will definitely recommend this place to others

Great place! Staff were friendly and knew what they were doing, they had some great oldies music playing, and my barber made me feel very welcome. It was a warm experience, and although its only my second time going, they will be getting MUCH more business from me.

They dont call it trendsetters for nothing. These dudes are the best in the heights area. The atmosphere is clean, everyone is nice and courteous. Eric definitely knows how to get down. Always satisfied with my haircuts. 5 stars 🌟

The Owner is awesome and has great staff. My husband comes here to get his haircut and he always gets home looking so handsome (not that he isn’t already lol) but they do a great job and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great cut in the area! One of the first things I do when I move to a new city is find a new barbershop. I lived close by to Trend Setters, so walked in to give it a try and met the owner, Eric. Now, two and a half years later, I have gone in once every two weeks to get a fade/cut from Eric, and not only does he do a stellar job, but he also runs a welcoming shop with a great group of guys. I went in looking for a barbershop, but left with much more. I highly recommend Trend Setters for anyone looking for a classic shop that makes you feel at home.

Great barber shop! I always feel like a million bucks when I leave. Barbers are friendly, and I almost always enjoy a laugh or two during conversations at the shop.

My teenage son has a particular way he likes his haircut and we had been to a few barbers and he was never satisfied. I reached out to the owner Eric to make an appointment and my son has not wanted to go to another barber since. I definitely recommend Trend Setters Barber Shop especially if you are looking to support small businesses.

I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this Barber.Edge ups are very uneven, he trimmed the back of my sons neck when his hair is long in the back. He cut almost a whole inch above his natural hair like in the back. I am honestly so sad. The right side he pushed way behind his ears cutting his natural curls out. The front he did way to thick. My sons dad is border line blind, so when the barber came to his home I am assuming he couldnt see the damage that was caused to our sons hair.

Service is awesome and the environment is super chill and laidback. All the barbers do awesome work. I got my haircut with Eric who is super cool and thorough with the fade and beard. 10/10

I went in for a haircut. Eric did the job done. I didnt like that he he took off my mask and threw it away. I felt so uncomfortable at the end of it. Being in healthcare, I thought everyone during this pandemic would have the courtesy to mask up when in public. I doubt Im coming back.

Been getting my hair cut by Eric since 2013. I’m black, and when I moved to Houston I immediately went to 3rd Ward to try other recommendations by people I met. When I first walked in this shop, I was hesitant as most of the staff were Hispanic. I watched them cut a couple of other people’s hair and was impressed. I came back that next week and haven’t looked back. Best fades in the city and the guys here are like family. Eric knows more about my life than some of my friends, and I always look forward to the conversations and stories. When Eric is traveling, I’ve also gone to TJ who is also a great barber. Last comment I’ll add is that I work in a very professional setting and even though I’ve tried different styles, they’ve always done a great job making sure I look my best. If you’re new to Houston or looking for a better haircut come give them a try. Call to make an appointment to make sure you minimize your wait time.

I went in because I was referred by a co worker. All I wanted was a beard trim, but this young guy from Baytown had a vision to make me look less of a square. After hearing his idea I figured to just let him do his thing and get the works. Very satisfied with my new look! Price was on point. Highly recommend

Was referred here by a few people however I dont think the barber was comfy with my special needs boy! I asked before he even started if he was ok with him, he said he was and proceeded to give him the worst haircut in the world. I would have rather a no maam Im not comfortable instead of the botched job! Was only 25 bucks Ive wasted more but having my boys hair a mess for two weeks until his hair grows back and he can get a proper cut will be annoying

The first time I went to Trendsetters, I didn’t know what to expect. I had just started growing my beard out and had never been to a real “barber” shop before. The guy spent over an hour on me, extremely detail oriented and had me looking the sharpest I’ve ever been! Now I drive from Conroe just to see them because going anywhere else would be a disservice to myself.

A great neighborhood barbershop with talented barbers and a laid back atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a cut at this neighborhood gem.
