Way better haircut than the chain places. They paid great attention to detail, and did an incredible job with a squirming 3yo! I cant wait for my husband to try it out because I know he will love it!

I brought my husband and child here. I absolutely loved their work and will keep these guys as their barbers. They are professional and so friendly! The place is clean and I love how it is decorated inside. Make sure you book an appointment as those are considered priority. They do accept walkins. Please give this shop a shot! Took my 3 year old here for a quick cut. Marco was extremely good with a very tough-to-deal-with toddler... and the haircut came out great! He was so proud of his “handsome” new look and couldn’t wait to show his mom and friends back home.

Marco has been cutting my sons (now 4) hair since we moved into the neighborhood - he does a fantastic job and is extremely patient with young kids. We took our 2nd son (15 month old) here for his first haircut and it went perfectly.Marco and Antonio do a fantastic job with a keen attention to detail (even on the small amount of hair I still have left).They are always on time for appointments (regardless of your tardiness).Call them and make an appointment. Marco is amazing!! He really took his time and he even came in because when we arrived there was only one stylist. He was here in five minutes and seriously gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I wanted a military high and tight - bald fade. The store is clean and Marco even built some of the furniture himself. They even have a hand built checkers game thing that’s pretty cool. 80’s Music is on and everything from the chairs to the service is very relaxing and professional. This was truly a gentleman’s barbershop experience. I’m hooked!

It was my first time coming to this barbershop and it will definitely be the last. My side burns are uneven and now have 3 bald spots on the back of my head. This was definitely not worth $25. Do not come here.

Today was my third visit to the Old School Barber Shop. I have had a great experience each time and felt compelled to share a review here. I agree with the other reviewers. The attention to detail is superb, and the fellows that run the shop provide that classic barber shop experience. I was able to work with Antonio and he gave me the great cut I was looking for. They also shave your neck with hot shaving cream and will do beard trims and shaves too. I greatly appreciate the genuine experience and the atmosphere in the shop. I highly recommend!

Marco is Amazing!! This guy has some serious skills. Ive been to plenty of barbers where I get a quick, no-frills clip-n-cut. While thats fine and dandy for a status quo cut, Marco was definitely quite a few steps above the cut (see what I did there?) He was more of a designer than a clipper as he seemed to take great pride in his work. Gotta love that level of investment as well as the level of detail he delivered. My head has rarely felt better. Great experience!!

Excellent barber. Antonio was very thorough and made sure he did things how I wanted by asking questions, but also made suggestions on how to make my haircut better. I get my haircut short on the sides with a low fade and long on the top. The fade is one of the best Ive ever had and the top was very well done. It wasnt just about length on the top, it was about how the hair lays when its styled. Today was my first visit and I will keep coming.

Went in today for the first time because Great Clips messed up my hair bad, one side was faded in higher than the other side and the top length in my hair was way shorter than what I asked for. Antonio helped me out in getting my hair fixed up, and the experience was awesome and worth it! Great attention to detail and great customer service! I will continue to go there

This place is the real deal! Been searching for a good barber since I left SW Houston about 2 years ago. I actually stumbled into this place from next door and now I drive a little farther but cant imagine getting cut by anyone else. Antonio is very thorough and will tailor your haircut to make sure it is perfect. He keeps notes of the exact way he cut it and tweaks the notes as he figures out your exact style. I walked in and loved the interior of the shop. The place was manned by two people, with no customers that moment. One was busy grooming himself in the mirror and the other was in the rear finishing up a phone call. I sat down and awaited on who will be the one to do the deed. The person on the phone was finished with his call and motioned me to come on up.He introduced himself as Marco and we started on what I wanted. I dont usually care for what my hair looks like; hell, I was bald and just let it grow out until today. He asked me what I wanted and I gave him a general direction to what level of trim. He did the usual stuff, electric clippers, then scissor cut. Marco went above and beyond what a typical barber these days do. Their signage says Old School, and their service shows it.Marco didnt just cut my hair and send me on my way. No, he took the time to detail my hairline when others just zoom by with the electric clippers. Marco even trimmed my eyebrows...MY EYEBROWS. He explained what hair product was put into my hair and why. He even finished with a hot friggin towel on my face. Can you say you get this level of service from Stupor Cuts, Fantastical Sams or Sporting Clips? (names changed so the chains wont kill me)I bought some pomade he used in my hair since it finished nicely for my hair. All in all, Marco did a great job and gained a customer.

I gave it one star only because it wouldn’t let me rate it without rating at all..this place is the worst..don’t get your hair cut done here..they’re rude and poor knowledge. They didn’t even ask me how I wanted my hair, I told the guy if he could fix it but the guy said he was done and didn’t even apologize, to each it’s own I was completely unsatisfied.

This place gives my husband a great haircut. Antonio keeps notes of each person he cuts hair so for the next time he knows exactly what they want. The guys working here are so kind. You can get free drinks like sodas, water or coffee while you wait too. They play good music, tv and some games for entertainment as well. Good vibes here every single time. We wilk follow Antonio where ever he goes if he moves from here!!!
