Heads Up was a great experience for me, my barber was great. He gave me a very good haircut, conversation was good, and they also talked good basketball. The barber shop was very clean which I liked so much that I drove straight to grab my nephew for his own haircut which he also loved .

I normally go here to get my haircut by the dude from Alabama but this time when I went dude was not there so I’m waiting on someone to assist me or ask me if I need any type of haircut or anything and nobody said not one word to me. I witness 3 barbers sitting in there chair with no one in them for at least 30-40 min not one time did they even ask if i needed any type of service. I was very displease with the unprofessionalism of this establishment and I will ever spend my hard working money with any place that will treat paying customers this way.

For those of you complaining on how the barbers aren’t showing any assistance towards ones that are patienly waiting.. it doesn’t hurt to speak up either. i mess wit headz up hard ! particularly, “Lavish”, who doesn’t work there anymore is one HELL of a barber for sure.

I went for my first cut. It was really busy and a really nice place. I saw some really talented barbers give really great cuts. Well worth the money if you get the right barber. Most are pros at there craft. Stop buy and try them out. You can even call and schedule an appointment.

They were nice to me, I had a great time there. No cards accepted, straight cash. The only issue I had was my haircut, Im Latino, the guy that cut my hair admitted midway through the haircut that he didnt know how to cut my type of hair. Im not going back after noticing many problems with my hair.

I moved from Tampa fl and I drove by and seen the shop and stopped in. I was fortunate enough to see Carter outside and asked him if he cut hair. The rest is history. I first found this shop by following the barber, Carter on Instagram. Carter has gone from cutting my oldest son’s hair to cutting the whole family’s hair. He’s always easy to reach and available when we need him. He is now cutting 3 generations—my husband, his father and our boys hair. He’s quick, sanitary, professional, and extremely talented. All of the barbers at the shop seem nice but Carter is our guy. He’s a bit of a perfectionist, which I ♥️. Every style that other barbers refused to try on young kids, he skillfully executed.

I just had the WORST experience in my life. Not only did the barber that cut my hair give me a bald spot right in the front of my head, he also insulted my intelligence by telling me that it was the way my hairline was naturally. This is not my first haircut. No barber has EVER done this to my head. Then he tried to tell me that I had a swirl in my hairline so he had to cut it that way. I told him I didn’t have a swirl I have a widows peak, and he actually had the nerve to tell me they were the same thing (I’m a licensed cosmetologist, I definitely know the difference). I didn’t leave with the haircut I asked for, got plugged in my hairline, and still got charged. I’m beyond disappointed!

I go to 2 barbers there BIG n MIKE those 2 men r superb wit the clippers.. My son hasnt had a cut n a month and itll stay that way until the barber gods @ H.U cut his hair.. I highly recommend these 2 guys at headz up, they know what they doin.

My husband has gotten his hair cut here multiple times and is always really happy with the job. Everyone is pretty friendly and the prices are fair. Never more than $20 for a lineup. He has been to 4 different people and had a good experience with all.

It’s some Top Notch barbers in this shop, but it would be 5 stars if they were more social with better communication skills. I say that because it’s a few barbers who look at you crazy or catch little attitudes when you ask em what they chair looking like, like damn bro your a barber your supposed to be social with good communication skills. Outside of that it’s a good shop 8 out of 10 will get you straight but I prefer the owner or WIZ off tops!

Walter took in my son last minute without an appointment the night before his kindergarten graduation pictures. This was my kids first time getting a mohawk and we LOVED it! I showed him a pic of what we wanted and he replicated. Couldnt ask for more. Going back with my older son later this week. Very reasonably priced for a walk in.

The wait is a bit as its full there more often than not but it very much has the traditional barbershop feel. Theres also a very jovial nature to the shop.

Shows he’s level of maturity and low intelligence quotient. Please avoid him like plague and also visit his Instagram page to see his display of public foolishness and mediocrity cuts ... please be the judge....no disrespect to other wonderful and highly professional barbers in the shop, thanks for taking care of me all this years but I can’t keep quiet because I have seen him do this on four occasions... it’s highly unfair.

The worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. The guy cutting my hair completely ignored the picture I showed him. Shaved off my beard completely, gave me the WRONG part and then asked for $20. Avoid this place!!!!!!!!! Don’t make my mistake.
