I reserved a unit on Friday 4/16 with a potential move-in date of Saturday 4/17. There are no terms and conditions to print or review upon reserving. I ended up not making it down to get a unit assigned or purchase a lock. I received a document on 4/19 signed BY THEM as me. I emailed them about it and let them know on 4/20 that I would not be needing a unit. They refused to refund the half-off first months rent charge, Admin fee or Insurance telling me that it cost them 4 days off the market. A charge for 4 days or Admin fee only would have been reasonable; however they refused any refund. Seems like overkill and scammy at best.UPDATE per owner response below: I did not come down to sign anything, receive a unit, lock, or gate code. 4 days does not equate to keeping a months $ + fees + insurance for a unit that was not confirmed or utilized. They could have easily been decent about it.

I booked online and it wasnt what I expected as far as size. Kendra fixed everything for me and went above and beyond to find me another open one. She didnt mind showing me each size so I could get the exact one I needed. Extremely professional and even great conversation while she was doing the paperwork. Rented a coworking space, junked some stuff, and put the rest of the three offices into storage while I sort and find my next Best fit.Craig always helps me get the most value, and in a kind man who keeps a fastidious facility.The only caveat is sometimes you will find yahoos not wearing a mask. Craig usually chases them down and tells them what’s up.

The rental of the storage unit was the easiest business transaction Ive ever done, honestly I think the whole process took 5 minutes in the office with Craig (who was super nice btw and he provided great customer service). The facility was very clean and I loved that it was climate controlled. I was able to start storing my stuff the same day and I wasnt dying of heat while I was organizing my stuff in the unit. 100 degree heat in a face mask doing heavy lifting and moving stuff around can be miserable but not here, it was a comfortable temperature. I also wanted to point out there are cameras everywhere. I feel very confident my stuff is safe there. The use of a personalized code to get on the property and then again to get in the building adds to that confidence. I also feel pretty safe going to my storage unit alone because there are also tvs placed on every floor that are hooked to the cameras and Im able to see who is on the floor at the same time I am, the moment I step out of the elevator. These days you never know and being able to see every hallway with a quick glance is comforting. I highly recommend EADO Storage. Theyre making selling my house and moving so much easier because I dont have to worry about storing my stuff or it being safe.
