Pete was very helpful and patience by showing and clearly explaining what the diagnosis is to the car problems. He made clear what he cannot tell visually until an issue is fixed and clean up before further review. He let us know the parts and materials to buy ourselves so we just pay for the labor. Follow update to come.

A+ Auto Care has always taken good care of my familys cars. They want you back in your car and they do a good job of fixing only what is needed. They dont create charges. I highly recommend them. They give A+ service.

I was very impressed with Glenda very nice friendly yet professional the alignment at best I think went well except for traveling a few days after and it appeared that my car was still pulling to the right side but Im not taking it back.

Tom, George, and Glenda gave me top notch customer service. This is one of the best auto mechanic shops in the city.

Between the excellent service at the front desk to the knowledgeable minds of George and the others to the prices, you just can’t beat it. They took really great care with my vehicle and they are great on prices. I was able to get my car good to go for inspection and the men are very detailed and explain to you the diagnosis they do on the car as well. I have never had an issue with so i switched from my old mechanic to them completely. They are amazing!!

Awesome honest people. I found them when a shop called liberty in cook rd told me they couldnt replace the thermostat in my car that I had to go to a dealership to get that work done. They did tell me that they could remove it so that my car wouldnt show that it was overheating. Ever since then I have taken all my cars and my wifes to this shop.

I have been to this place on a few occasions. I actually love the owner Mr. Tom he is very pleasant and nice. However, I’m not to fond of animals and they have a dog that is inside of the business and it won’t bite it’s a older dog. I just feel like at a place of business any animal shouldn’t be present, because all customers don’t like animals and it’s a place of business so animals shouldn’t even be there period.

I have taken my automobiles to Tommie since moving back to Houston two years ago. My experience has been great. They only make repairs on what needs to be done. My Toyota & Ford has had my oil changes there. I have major repairs on my 2003 Toyota great service and price. I am here today because my check engine light came on. Coming from a small town to the city, the prices & service is great.

Ive been a customer of A+ for years and have never done a review, until I witnessed an upset customer over their inspection. Tom the owner explained why it failed and what it needed to pass. However the customer wanted to argue his recommendations.I drive a 750li and would trust A + to service it along with referring their services to anyone in need of quality auto work done for a fair price. Theyre very welcoming and friendly!

I had been taking about my F-150 and Jeep there for George the mechanic to work on. I got my oil changed in my truck and before I left I ask George if he used a piece of cardboard so that when removing the oil filter oil would not spill all over the frame. The next day I noticed there was oil on my garage floor. So I called them to let them know that I was going to bring it back to have him take a look and see where the oil was coming from. I walked in the door and was greeted nicely by Jasmine. George came from the shop and when he addressed me he was was rude and not concern of the issue at hand. He said that I needed to lay off the caffeine. He moan and groaned but put my truck up on the lift. He still said that there was not oil leak. Because of Georges rudeness I told Jasmine to let the owner Tom know that I would NOT be back to there shop and that they have lost my business for both my vehicles.I told my truck to another shop and they found there were two oil leaks. The oil filter housing gasket and the rear main seal. They could have had the job in fixing my truck but because of Georges rudeness and bitching and complaining they lost my business.

They are scam artists

The owner of this place was awesome and incredibly nice. During the rain one day he pulled over to help me change a flat tire!! Not even while he was working. Good people here and tom, will help you out. Go check it out.

Iv never written a negative review of any business until now. This shop caused me endless problems. their diagnostic isnt worth the paper its written on. My car stalled the very day i took it home from the shop, and stayed in the parking lot of a shopping complex for two days because Tom was too understaffed to pick it up. I was presented with a new problem with the car, literally every day after that...problems that had gone undetected during their initial diagnostic. i got fed up and towed my car to another shop, but not before Tom took out a part i had paid for and had been charged labor costs for. I had to drive back to his shop to pick it up and install the part for an additional fee elsewhere. Also i found out that they had made the rookie mistake of overfilling the oil during their oil change. i was out more than 600$ and my car was not fixed by the time i left his shop. Another shop did a diagnostic on the car and highlighted issues with the car that Toms. diagnostic had missed. My car seemed to be worse off after the initial fix and not only stalled, but also started smoking from underneath the bonnet. Im no car expert, but i believe that had i taken my car to a different shop initially, i would not now be shopping for a new engine.

The personnel are friendly and genuinely concerned about their customers vehicles. Im quite happy with them as my repair shop.

They took good care of me several times. Got my breaks done and oil change. Literally 2 minutes from home. Their prices are fair!

Beware! Beware! Beware! You do not want to do business with these lowlife crooks.So I normally dont leave negative reviews, but these people have just gone too far. My wife went there to do an inspection, I told her not to because they always try to find something. Sure enough they tried to charge her $35 to change a lightbulb. So I said whatever just pay them and get it over with. Well the guy starts freaking out because his dog ran away. Hes cussing and tapping her car saying he doesnt give an F about the car, totally unprofessional. So the lady says the only person that can change the lightbulb cant do it. She will have to go somewhere else but they still wanted her to pay for the inspection. Then she tried to keep the keys away from her it was just a big mess. She took her car to a different mechanic . Sure enough there was no problem with the light. The car passed the inspection with no problems.Look if youre going to go to this place, expect a long wait. Even if you are the only customer there you will wait an hour or two for an oriole change. Youll wait an hour or two for in inspection.This place should be called F minus auto.

Not inexpensive, but very honest and competent. They have given me the best service of any mechanic shop that I have used in Houston in the last 15 years.

It was my first and last time going to this deplorable place of business due to poor and rude customer service.Tom and Yasmine are both unprofessional and their behavior was unacceptable. It went from going to get a vehicle inspection to threatening to contact the authorities due to Toms hostile behavior towards me and my daughters. This occurred, because Tom demanded an apology and a thanks for their poor service that I unfortunately paid for. I also contacted the vehicle inspections department, because Tom stated he we going to change my inspection status to failed after I passed, because I didnt bow down to him and his shenanigans. Providing vehicle inspections are a privelege and not a right...Please do not waste your time or money going to this place. There are many other auto shops that will provide high quality service within the community.
