I live with my family here and I love that theyre pet friendly My chiwini is like my family I love that she can be included. I love the pet friendly and family environment I totally recommend for anyone to move in! :)

This place honesty I dont know what to say. This environment is very very very very dirty. The neighbors are sooooooo nasty. Roaches will be your family. Everything in the apartment is sooo old. The fridge sounds like a generator. The one thing I would say is that neighbors are friendly and maintenance tries to respond to you as fast as they can but other than that, its hard to bring visitors to visit you because you will be embarrassed. Everywhere stinks and is soooo nasty. E. God help us. I hope they do something about this in future.

Jennifer is the best, She has superior customer service. And she always on top of things for me. She deserves a reward for her honesty and assurance.

The office ladys have great communication with the tenants they are always helping out. What I really like is the events they have like the food bank. I recommend it to my family and to anyone else.

Ive been living here for 2 years, the leasing office is extremely helpful. Manintence request are always getting completed. I would highly recommend leasing a apartment at this property also GREAT customer service.

If ur looking for a place to stay don’t come here!there’s a lot of noise at night, there’s no place for u to park and also there’s kids who threaten u with a whole group, brake window while playing soccer, knock on ur door and go running, it’s never quite and they never fix anything if u want them to fix it u need pay for it my family had a super horrible experience there

Jennifer has been the most helpful person ! She kept me updated on my apartment all the way up until it was time for me to move in . The apartment is everything I was looking for and she took my thoughts into consideration and made it come true . I thank her so much for helping me in in love with my place and it’s so peaceful

Around the #2000s apartments there’s a lot of noise. Sometimes there’s loud music playing late at night for many hours. And there’s really loud people outside at night. My husband and I have been really patient for months and we’ve tried to ignore it, but enough is enough. It’s disrespectful and many of us have to go to our jobs the next morning. Also about the water, yes they do not give us any notice, it’s annoying and it should be fixed and first of all why is the water running out, we pay for it too!

We had a few issues when we first moved in. Manager was on vacation when we first got here but as soon as she heard about all the issues we had, she did everything in her to fix things for us. She was very nice & understanding. Love the fact that the walls aren’t white & the kitchen is cute. Would recommend

Chestnut Hill Apartments has been great place to live! I’ve truly enjoyed my time here and the ladies in the leasing office are always so gracious and helpful and have made my first time renting a great experience.

I normally don’t write reviews.I lived in these apartments for 2 years and recently moved out to a house. One thing I could say about this place is the staff is very friendly, they offer good customer service. Maintnance response was okay, but other than that I never had any complaints.

Bad management. They disregard tenants privacy and requests and make your wait days to get orders completed, even on high caliber emergencies

This was my first Apartment so I didnt really exactly know what I was in for. But Chestnut Hill is a great place to stay. It is convenient. Some advice I would give any person looking for a new place to stay in Houston, check out the place on a rainy day. It floods around the complex but not inside. The apartments are built up. So its all good. Overall a great place to live the Management staff is very nice. Im glad I made the decision to move here.

Chestnut hill Apartments are the best apartments to live at and prices are great. Front office people are really nice and they know how to help with any questions also they have great costumer service, specially Paola and Alma. Great service . :) 100% recommended

Made me and my wife sign a new lease after they had to move us because they didnt fix a leaky roof before Hurricane Harvey. Tried to tell us that they were not charging us the extra $20 they should since it was a remodeled apartment. Now my wife is pregnant and we have called 4 times to fix the refrigerator so the groceries she needs stay fresh. 3 weeks later still nothing. What a trash place. NEVER RENT HERE!!!!

If I knew then what I know now . I would have NEVER moved here . The whole parking lot is trash and will destroy your whole car . The Pot wholes are ridiculous & the speedbump’s are way beyond too high . Speaking of trash ITS ALWAYS trash around the apartments the dumpster are pointless. It’s disgusting. The water will be turned off every other day you’ll get the notice the same day, it’s floods really bad over here, In the apartments but mainly in the streets . I’ve been here 11 months now And my filter in my air condition has yet to be changed and when I opened it to change it myself it had the wrong size. They are also supposed to come in and spray that never happened . The only good thing about this apartment is that they are super quiet no one will bother you . And if you’re thinking about having guest or visitors think again there is no visitors parking or you will be towed . The rent is very cheap so you get what you pay for. I will not be renewing my lease

Terrible apartments, run down and people lack any kind of pride. Trash everywhere, they constantly are having people towed but leave the broke down cars alone yes the ones sitting on jacks. Things break down and they give excuses to why it cant be fixed. And only finally fix things when you threaten to call or report them. Grass torn up everywhere and old appliances sitting outside like a dump. So many nicer apartments out there for a better price. Dont move here my kids moved here their first apartments they are learning the hard way. They definitely will not renew their lease. Stay far far away from here!!!

If youre looking for a place to live that wont stress you out, this should not be on your shortlist. it seems like the management changes every 2 months. And the parking situation is worse than a college campus. Do You wanna have guests over? they better park in the street across from the complex because this complex only has like 12 visitors spots and theyre always full with residents cars(especially during holidays). If their car is caught inside? youll just have to take them to the towing lot that the complex owners are partnered with to profit off making peoples lives terrible. and the best part is, apparently they dont even hand out visitors parking passes anymore. so if you have people that like to visit you regularly, you might want to live somewhere else. Also, if it rains. the bellerieve rd will always have 2-3 feet of water piled up outside the complex just to make your day that much better. And if you want something fixed? find your own repair man, there was situation where there was a broken door and they let us move in knowing it was broken and just taped it up. we requested a repair all they did was put plaster on it and promise they were coming back, and to this day i havent heard anything from them.

The water will be turned off randomly for no reason, without notice. Sometimes the hot water itself will be turned off, other times, both cold and hot water wont work. This has been happening more recently lately. Also, another major issue, the electricity has random brownouts (no power) for a split second, many times per day and is VERY annoying. We have had to get a new battery backup for our computer so that the random brownouts wont turn off the computer many times per day without notice. We have discussed this with the leasing office, and all they say is Well look into it.. like they dont really care.I wouldnt recommend this apartment.

Staff is rude period. So my mom & sister live here they were trying to convince to move here just because its cheap. So I called this morning to ask if they had a studio available the lady on the phone was very nice & said they had one available for next month March. So I said I was gonna go check them out. I went not even 30 min later and surprise no studios available. I said I had called and everything & she gave no solution and said they had bo studios available. My sister & mom both rent here separately and they tell me that management staff always have terrible communication among each other. Please change the staff management all the ladies that work there have no experience whatsoever.DONT RENT HERE

Very happy with the property, they make me feel right at home. My daughter enjoys the childreens play ground. I love the attention they give at the office, they make sure you are well attented and that your needs are met. I would highly recomend this property to any one! Especially if your looking to feel Right at home!

I read the reviews so I was questioning about it I came up there the staff was very nice to me, I did have a tour on the property the property look clean, washer and dryers work property some units come with the instalación include, u have places very close so u will save gas if u wanna go to Walmart or any fast food close also Gas station and other stores that are very close to the property my apartment. My apartment was very clean and everything works, the appliances are in good condition. My only concern is the amount of speed bumps they can cause damage to my car and for people that have low car can be affected by this Issue I hope they can replaced with betters and not to big . I hope this can help you have a better understanding of the property .If you are LIkE uber eat is gonna be a hit because every restaurant on Westheimer is 0 to 2.99 delivery fee.

Be aware that you’ll be at your own later. I was told that I would get my deposit after I paid a month and broker fees with them. Two months later I kept trying to get my refund they come later and tell me that I can get my refund i broke the lease.N.B: Mylvia is a nice person but anyone you want move make sure to get all the informations before you sign and take a note.

Great apartments, nice community to live in.

I lived there for 2 years. I got a apartment for me and my elderly mom. I never had late rent and the wouldnt let me resign my lease. I think it was a race issue never had noise complains. They had a bad roach and bed bug problem. Also a lot of stray cats. They have really bad parking. Nowhere to park after 8-9pm. There isnt that many residents to take all that parking. I lived there before when I was young from 1998-2004 it wasnt no big problem just roaches now its a big issue. I had problems trying to get a apartment after that chestnut hill made it hard by not letting me resign. My kids needed a home close to school..Also, they said I had trafficking because I was going in and of my best friends house right next door smh...

I have live here for over 8 months and cant until my lease is up. The maintenance is poor. They do not notify you when they have other people coming into your home. They cut off the water at random times without notice. They completely over charge for late fees. They claim they renovated the property, but it is nothing but poor patch work. I would not recommend ANYONE to move here no matter how good the move-in special is.

Been living back here for 2 years and recently signed a new lease for one more year which will make 3 years if I can change my mind I would because now that the new lease has started I can’t get no one to fix any thing I even requested a ac filter but never got one was told it had to b ordered but always see the guys riding around with them changing everything at times it seems like a race thing because half of them that fix stuff don’t even speak English

The place smells funky. Parking is $50 for residents. THERE ARE NO SIDEWALKS SO BE PREPARED TO WALK IN DIRT. The assistant manager Melbia is slow, the workers like flirting with maintenance workers twice their age. Everyone is unprofessional. No pets, No gym, No painting walls or changing apartment, Drug dealers and homeless people walking around inside apartment complex and peeing everywhere. The maintenance people have walked in on me twice while I was naked(which was extremely violating) without a notice and I called the assistant manager named Melbia and she acts like a dumb blonde. I tell her that I’ve been violated and she goes “It’s not our fault, the property manager contracts them” she doesn’t care, they’ve also lost my money orders multiple times and they’re completely unprofessional . There was a dead cat inside apartment complex which has been here for two weeks. When you complain to the office manager I think he’s middle eastern, but he fiercely takes his workers side and blame you. I’ve spoken to the realty company, Indus and nothing changes, If you want to feel like you’re in prison, sign one of their leases, and if you like intercourse being interrupted by maintenance people please come here, but I can’t wait to leave here and will never come back!

The issue is that the parking lot isn’t made right almost every spot is reserved and when ask them to come fix something the half do it. They don’t let you know when the cleaning people come and if you don’t open up the door they let their self in. I don’t recommen this place to anyone.

The service is not good.today I talk to them about my problems with the air conditioning and they were taking note about it at mid day and now is almost 10:00 pm and no one has come here to see my apartment.So they want the money order on time for the rent.For me Im thinking to move to another location soon. These are the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. Water used to be free now they charge us for water yet they still cut off water without notice I was taking a shower and they randomly cut it off! Also parking is horrible ever since they came up with reserved parking we always have to park on firelane. There also is allot of ignorant and mean uneducated people. The worst my neighbor got shot for no reason and it was around 2pm! We cant wait to move. The good thing is that the apartment inside is big but I cant raise my children in this area.

These are decent apartments for the money. The maintenance staff is seriously over worked and as a consequence they are a bit slow to get to repairs. The office staff are friendly and usually very accommodating. Parking was an issue for a while but they have improved that. My only real issue is their lack of communication with tenants and the trash. They have turned off the water on several occasions for most of the day and never bothered to send notice around to tenants. This can be annoying. Trash is an issue but its not the apartment staff as youll see a guy going around cleaning even on Sundays. The problem is the tenants. A lot of them are pigs, for lack of a better word. They will leave bags of trash outside of their apartments where stray cats can get to them and tear them open. They will also just leave the bags of trash on the outside of the dumpster if it is even remotely full. They dont take it to one of the other dumpsters or try to make it fit in they just leave it there. Ive received notices about the trash issue so I know the apartment staff are trying to fix it but, theres not a lot they can do about it except start kicking people out and in order to do that theyd have to catch them doing it. All in all if you are looking for a reasonably quite place to live that is inexpensive and not far from major stores this place isnt bad.

They showed me a appointment and gave a different apartment way different then what I wanted .PARKING IS TERRIBLE AND RIDICULOUS!Management dont care about the people living in the complex .Been trying to reach corporate for the last 5 months and havent heard from them. My husband and I moved our family here from New York City. All we can say is living in Houston, TX. is SO SO SO dang cheap its NUTS! Rent is so damn low! We first came into the leasing office asked if they had anything under $1500 a month. They about fell out theirs desks! Haha! Anyways;The community is very quiet compared what were use to. People respect your space and no issues. We keep to ourselves anyways. My husband takes our son for walks every day throughout the neighborhood, theres market come by and mall within walking distance. Never had any problems. Access to WestPark Toll and Highway 59 right off Fondren. In all honesty we love the community accessible to everything if needed in a matter of minutes by vehicle. We have to get use to driving everywhere also; They have gated community with access cards available cheap at $25 a piece. NYC you pay $150-$300 for those back home. Cheap again.....The mgmt team pretty nice and respectful. It appears their under new mgmt and noticed a lot of changes to the community. The last mgmt owners ran this place into the ground as you can tell. The apartments are out dated and old. Weve had to contact mgmt to place several work orders. Were planning on upgrading to larger place when our lease is up.We currently dont have any complaints really; everything is very reasonable and cheap. With an safe gated community we searched over 30 places Southwest Houston and everything place was over $500 with horrible living arrangements or you could over pay for a place at $1500. We choose this place b/c it was in the price we wanted to pay for rent and pricing was well worth calling this home. If youre looking for a upcoming place and cheap rent, decent community close to daily needs this might be a place to look into.

The maintenance is terrible, you report an issue with the office they will call you days later supposedly to repair the problems but they dont fix anything, they dont leave any notes saying why they dont. Thats why people move out....duh.

I used to live here but i moved. Did not have any problems with the office staff but it floods outside, theres no parking for visitors, theres NO SIGNAL! I could never watch tv in peace.I used to live here It is inuna in the outside and there is no signal. Poreso I moved for the lady. You can not use the tel or see the TV properly.

I live here and I have from Harvey with the roof all stained with moisture, they have already been reported and the only thing they did was cellar the hole in the roof and so they left me something else you go to the office and they attend to you as if you were going to ask them Given something is supposed to be why you pay your rent to be in good condition and they treat you with a face and a bad attitude the blue-haired lady who is not the owner but treats you as if you should beg to live here. Asta make you want to break the contract and leave I do not recommend it at all

I do not recommend them for any reason ... # 1 every time it rains 5 minutes it floods ugly outside and inside. he is trapped without being able to leave # 2 there are not enough parking spaces I have to park my car outside # 3 I have 3 months with holes in the walls they get all kinds of insects mosquitoes etc. in short it is a garbage can

Very ugly and poorly maintained this apartment complex. I am not saying anything you cannot verify with your own eyes. At least it was not damaged by flooding and you have security at your entrance.
