Murray explained my situation, offered me 4 price options to fix/ replace my system and did not try to up-sale me. He took the time to answer all of my “internet research” questions and came back by to check on us during the installation.It was Saturday, Ron knew that he was the last person to finish the fine details of the AC install. He called to ask if he could come EARLY!!! He was fast, professional and through. His explanations and suggestions were personable and I felt cared for!Fast, flexible service. I have a Home Warranty, so my husband contacted them when our home AC wasnt working on a 90 degree + day. The warranty company sent House Pro. Im always weary of any contractor from a big box company. I feel like they all took the same salesman course, up-sale! up-sale! up-sale!. SHAWN from Washington was the BEST AC contractor Ive ever encountered. (No Cap) He did a true assessment of our issues and did NOT try to strong arm us into a new 10K+ system. Even after me and my husband interrogated him, he kept his cool and really gave us some feasible options. He maintenance our AC and it has NEVER ran this quietly (We had a rattler). We know the day will come where we’ll need a new system… I’m here to say, if House Pro is consistent with this type of service, they will keep our business!

My elderly mother scheduled this company to come out twice and they never followed thru and showed up. The first time, they showed up late, but never called to say they were going to be late, so no one was there. The second appointment, no one showed up or called. Call these clowns at your own risk, because their service stinks.

CONSUMER BEWARE!Unfortunately, I did not read on time the previous reviews about the technicians trying to rip off customers. I called to schedule an appointment for a Monday morning, I was told someone will contact me to confirm the appointment before the technician will arrive to my house . No one showed up. I called again to find out what happened, nobody had an idea or records of the appointment I had previously made. Nevertheless I decided to give them another chance so I made another appointment for the following Wednesday. They give you a couple of hours time window for them to arrive the technician was one hour late on top of the quoted time . He was very rude, he asked me if was something wrong with me. He had no shame for being late and I replied to him: you are over an hour late on top of the quoted time you have pretty much wasted my whole day. To which he replied: I can just leave and you can reschedule again. At that point I had already know I made a huge mistake in calling this company.He arrived and it only took 10 minutes and a couple of pictures with his ipad camera to determined that I needed to replace the entire system completely down to the dripping tray . I had schedule a system maintenance but the technicians did not bother to perform the maintenance because apparently the condenser was not cooling. But he took a very goodamount of time pushing me to sign a contract to have my entire AC system replaced. I called a different company to perform the necessary maintenance and the reason the condenser was not cooling is because it needed refrigerant . When the maintenance is carried out refrigerant recharge is part of it for an extra charge if needed . Apparently I do not need to replace the entire AC system not for another 6 to 10 years, I only needed to find a honest company to do the job and not trying to scam me.I dont know if it is House Pro companys policy to scam customers or technicians are paid commission if they manage to scam someone .Please be careful when doing business with this company.

Bought a replacement system from House Pro. Fantastic service. Paul was in and out in under 20 minutes and in that time he diagnosed the problem, gave suggestions on what caused the problem, and did everything he could for us.

They charged me 1000.00 per hour to clean not repair my furnace. Then tried to upsell me a complete unit because mine was dirty. 450.00 to clean a blower motor took 20 minutes then 550.00 to clean a coil. I told them to put it back together and get out of my house. What a joke.

The AC stopped blowing cool air the night before we called House Pro to come out. They fit us in quickly, and by 10:30 AM, the problem was diagnosed and fixed. Paul Smith walked right up to the outdoor unit, placed his hand over the fan, and declared this should be pushing out hot air, and its room temperature. I purchased a new unit from House Pro in February 2016. I choose to pay the month service fee.They come to my home twice a year and always give me a 20 to 30 minute notice as to when they will arrive. Also, the compnay will send you a text meessage with a picture of the technician that will be servicing your unit.All my six month check-ups have been a great experience. My last service call was on Friday, November 13, 2020. The technician was Shawn and he treated my house like it was his own. He wore blue booties over his shoes so no dirt or other items would be brougt into my house. (I am a very particular about a clean house).Also, I have referred many homeowners to this company.They take PRIDE in their work!!!

We had a problem with our A/C system short cycling and not cooling well. Our technician Shawn Mahar came to our rescue and quickly did a thorough inspection and presented a solution as to what it would take to fix the problems with our A/C system. The drain was clogged with algae due to the high humidity levels, Shawn cleared the drain and treated the unit to prevent a recurrence. While here we requested that our outside unit be cleaned and have the Freon level checked which needed to be topped off with Freon. The repairs were explained to us completely and pricing was discussed before any work was performed. We also agreed to signing up for an annual maintenance program to stay proactive in keeping the system operating .Shawn was very professional and very easy to work with. We would recommend Shawn and House Pro to anyone in need of maintenance or repairs.

I have been getting my HVAC system serviced by HousePro since I moved into my house a couple years ago. They are always great about reminding me to have my system checked out in the fall and the spring to make sure everything is working before the coming season.Recently, they installed a new system for me because mine was quite old. It works great. Everyone was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Concerns that I had were addressed quickly and the explanations were very thorough and helped put my mind at ease. The new system works very well at keeping my house cool.I really appreciate how quick to respond everyone is and how seriously they take any of my questions or concerns.

They installed a new ac unit and it started failing 8 days later. It is not cooling and it is not dehumidifying. We have called again and again being told well have a maintenance guy call when hes on his way but it hasnt happened.The customer service has been unhelpful and seemingly unqualified. They didnt even answer at one point.You all need to up your game because this is just pitiful.I repeat. A brand spanking NEW UNIT. Thousands of dollars. This is frustrating.

Our air conditioner was not cooling the house. We had it set for 73 and it would immediately jump to 77 by mid day. We had Ron come out with House Pro. Housepro was sent out to fix our AC by our warranty company. Raj was the repairman. He was competent and quickly identified the problem. The warranty company required we pay out of pocket for a fan cleaning which he ended up doing for free as the people we hired did a poor job. Overall our AC is working again for which we are thankful and the overall experience was very pleasant. I recommend using Housepro.

This is the most dishonest company. Any one dealing with them should beware. The only reason I got to work with them is thru my home warranty company. They claimed that my Coil had a leak and without even providing proof it did so. A secondary inspection found no leak whatso ever. Also, they came up with such a ridiculous quote for non-covered items that it was apparent that their intention is to steal from non-suspecting customers. Whoever puts in a ridiculous charge for recovery and disposal fee for a refrigerant when there is no disposal involved and fee for modifying a secondary drain pan, when I can simply put in a new drain pan for a cost less than half . Also the work they did in my house on a secondary AC unit was simply pathetic. Glad I did not see a charge for tool handling and climbing the stairs and uniform fees.

I dont typically post reviews, but my recent experience with House Pro was exceptional and worth sharing. I have been with House Pro for service for 15 years and have been satisfied with their service. Last week, our A/C went out and House Pro sent a tech late in the evening to evaluate it. We were faced with making a decision on whether or not to sink $ into an old system or replace it. I sought options and bids from 3 companies and received proposals that ranged from a $2k fix to a $23k new system. The proposals were literally all over the board including moving from a single 5-ton unit to two 4-ton units to achieve better zoning. Murray from HP took the most time with me to evaluate options. He even helped me evaluate competing options. His evaluation included room by room measurements for a load balancing computer program to confirm required tonnage, which quickly ruled out the need for a second unit. In the end, we went with HP for a single 5-ton variable speed system and their bid was $4k better than the next closest one. They were in and out in one day and the system is functioning as advertised. The next day we discovered a small problem with a vent pipe and Murray dispatched a crew within an hour of my call to fix it. We are very satisfied and would recommend House Pro to others.
