My wifes friend rented a vehicle with a faulty key fob. The company refused to come deliver another key to them when the fob stopped working. They dont seem to back up their product and look after their customers. I normally dont leave bad reviews, but this company deserves it.

Overall its ok. We booked our car two months ago with Tom. Paid extra two months of collision coverage on my own car at home because Tom needs it to make reservations. However when we were on our way to Hawaii Tom cancels our reservation because the car reserved for us has an engine problem. Thankfully Tom later agreed to find us a replacement, and we drove that car on the island for a whole month.The car is a 2012 Chevy. Considering the price this is a great car. It has some smells but in general it is clean. We had no problem with the car during our stay.

Tom’s is the perfect spot for rental cars! He charged me a great rate, and I actually had the car for several months. I highly recommend!!

Tom’s Auto was the best discount car rental place we’ve rented from. The cars were only 10 years old and worked out great, and they were so affordable! We would definitely recommend them and would rent from them again.

Tom has been great to deal with. If you’re looking for a brand new car with no quirks this isn’t the place for you but if you’re looking for a vehicle at a cheaper price point to get you around the island (more like a local) this is perfect for you.

I arrived in Honolulu and spur of the moment decided to rent a car. Googled imexpensive car rentals. Toms came up with a $99/ week rental. I called and got directions, hopped a cab yo Toms. He had a older model 4dr for me. I signed the papers and off I went. Very good transportation. It definitely worked for me, and at $99 for the week taxes included, what a bargain. When I returned it a week later Tom even drove me to the airport. Very nice guy! GC
