FRAUD ALERT!!! Beware of cheaper rental rates because it might cost you time and effort. I pre-paid for a rental at the ACE airport location (now permanently closed) and was charged $380 extra under the name of Hawaiian Van Rentals. The office staff said it was an accident, but the charge was never refunded. Spent months disputing the charge, only to be passed from one rep to another and always reached dead end with voicemail. Finally reported the charge to my bank as fraud.On a more positive note, the guy who was servicing cars on the lot was cordial and hardworking. All the employees seemed like they were working hard under bad conditions. I believe it is poor management by the franchise owner or ACE as a company.Whenever life is back to normal and Hawaii vacation is a thing again... beware cheap rental rates at ACE / Hawaiian Van Rentals also mean a dirty car... not complaining, just pointing out that youll get what you paid for.
