Luu did my nails today. He was very friendly and he did a great job!
The absolute worst pedicure ever! This is definitely not spa services but spa rates😤 I was very very disappointed and would never recommend or return. Quality is a negative 0, but the customer service was great 😏
Its been over a year since Ive been so it was heavenly to get my feet done. Feel and look human again. They always do a good job without hurting me.
Both techs were great. I love my nails! Would highly recommend.
Love Love Lv Nails the Owner she is great right there working she is the best for Men pedicure and manicure I go here every 3 weeks like a Boss
Was the worst experience I ever had on getting my nails done, I asked the tech if could do a design he said no, and instead of asking one of the other ones to do a simple snowflake he just left it at no, he was in a rush to get my nails done, it’s literally been a week since I have got my full set and my nails are already about to pop off, $40 for my nails to last a week, so not worth and I will never be back nor would I recommend this place to anyone
It was peaceful and soothing!
Great service! was serviced immediately and my acrylics turned out amazing. would recommend vuong vo he was amazing
I got my nails done today and explained to the man doing my nails the shape that I wanted. He did one nail and I told him it was perfect. He did my whole left hand and told me to look at them. I noticed one thing I wanted fixed on one finger (it wasn’t a big deal at all..just a corner), and he told me he couldn’t do it, dropped my hand, stood up, and sent me to another chair. I told him he was doing a good job and that I wasn’t complaining but still he sent me to another chair and told me the lady would finish. She did finish my nails and they look good but I was so thrown off by the way the man treated me, I probably won’t go back. Rude service trumps nice nails to me.
Lovely atmosphere, competent and friendly nail techs.
Second time going here. Both times were great. I highly recommend Katie she did a amazing on my nails.
Perfect! The gentleman took his time and clearly knew what he was doing. My nails look amazing! Great place. You won’t be disappointed.
About a year and a half since I last went. Started lifting after 4 daysWatched and listen to a customer who came back about a poor job. Shop explained regular polish only good for less than a week and offered no resolution Another customer complained about sloppy pedicure they were doing. Polish everywhere even on flip flops.
Always my go to place. Very friendly environment and even better service!
This is honestly my favorite place to go. They are the cheapest, the wait is never too long, and I understand the staff way better than I do anywhere else tbh. My nails always come out great (acrylics) and even just regular polish NEVER chips. 10/10!
I used to be a regular here. I went in for my usual pedi and some new, older man took 1 1/2 hr. to finish. He messed up several times and no one said anything. He then wasted the polish. At this point im frustrated. They never apologized. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience, the female owner said no. I began to explain the issue and she had nothing for me. Ill never go back.
Service & price are both very good. Im very picky about how my nails are taken care of by other people (since most of the time I feel like I could do better) but my technician took his time & made every nail look great. I have 0 complaints!!!
I was extremely pleased with the service. This will be my new regular salon.
Dont know the nail techs name, but he did a good job!
The staff at LV Nails is very courteous and did a great job on my nails. The facility is neat and simply furnished with minimal decorations (standards pictures and mirrors).I dropped in for a quick gel French manicure and a pedicure with my sister. LV nails is a salon that gets major points for serving up great customer service, polished products, and a simple but comfortable facility. Overall, I love the way my nails look and I will come back again!
This place was not exactly what I was looking for. They were nice enough, but the services offered were lacking. This was my first time there. I picked out my color and proceeded to sit down and asked what pedicures they offered ? She said they only offered one, which was a SPA pedicure under $30. The voice in my head that is shouting I think I may have chosen the wrong place was the only thing I could think about . Basic, no frills service!!! They didnt even rub my feet with lotion; just my legs a couple of strokes here and there. Word to wise, you get exactly what you pay. Those looking for a pampering, relaxing, high quality experience spend your money else where.
The water for my pedicure was cold, and it was over so quick i barely felt pampered. I still see dead skin on my feet. I told the tech that i didnt like the color on my feet so she asked me to choose a different colorand i tipped her $10 for the inconvenience, when it was over, she asked for another $8. I told her if she had explained that i would have just kept the same color. Im just leaving here super disappointed and Ive come here a lot over the years. Not as good as it used to be. I probably wont come back.
I just had a gel fill-in, and it was easily the worst one I’ve ever had. My nails were sloppy and unprofessional, then I was charged $33 for a fill-in, enough to almost cover a full set. Do not go here. A used to get my nails done there before I moved. So I was in the area and swung by for a fill-in. I won’t make that mistake again.
Massage pedicure chairs are great. Big screen TV. Shellac manicures as well as acrylic & gel. Fair prices, pleasant & accommodating owners and manicurists. Family-owned.
Nina is absolutely amazing!!!! Great service! She took her time!
In and out if you come at the right time..nice selection but I bring my own polish
Great experience!!! Katie is awesome!!!
This family owned place is the only place I will let do my feet or nails. I have been going here since I found this place 20 years ago! They do such a great job, and the prices are fair! $25 spa pedi and if you add mani, only $10 more!
Just to start. I got a pedicure ($20) and an SNS manicure ($30) + tax ($5) + I chose to tip ($10) totaling to $65. It was worth every penny. I plan do do it again next month. If the service was as good as it was today, Ill tip more.I arrived at roughly 5:45 pm, and I left at roughly 7:40 pm. The business closes at 7 pm. The woman who did my nails explained that they accept the last customer at 7 pm (meaning, if you come in at 6:55 pm, you will still be serviced).I was swiftly, gently and politely greeted upon entering. I had to describe what I wanted: a hard gel manicure. The nail tech knowlegbly pointed out that I wanted an SNS manicure. Since she was exactly right, I figured might as well get a pedicure too. I was immediately escorted to a message chair.A young woman in a grey olive jacket came over shortly after and did my pedicure. She was very (VERY) gentle. She asked if the water temperature was too hot ECT. It was perfect. She took off my fresh toenail polish (I wasnt charged for this), used a very light drill bit remove dead skin and clean up my cuticles. I felt absolutely no pain. My feet were expertly buffed, lotioned and messaged. No dead skin left at all. I liked her efficiency: she took on 3 people at once and none of us waited for long, yet each of us got her full attention. She was mostly silent and softspoken. She messaged my swollen ankles(from late pregnancy) and I almost cried it felt so good. She also fixed an polish-related imperfection that I likely would not have noticed.I chose the color for my SNS manicure which was communicated to the nail tech (somehow) during my pedicure and by the time I sat down, she had everything set up. My natural nails are short, bumpy and healthy, but my cuticles and nailbeds were looking really rough. Again, this was fixed efficiently and very (VERY) gently. I confirmed that I wanted to keep my oval nail shape. She perfected it with a nail file. The powder went on a bit inconsistently on the left thumb. This was corrected WITHOUT my pointing it out. I got a gel top coat (wasnt expecting that without an extra charge!) And I was done. Toes and nails were perfectly dry and feel as healthly if not healthier than they were when I came in.Things I noticed that put me at ease.Clear displays: 100 from health department; prices are at the front on the counter; each nail station had the corresponding nail techs certification taped up with a color photo.Cleanliness. The floors are swept regularly while I was there. Everyone wore gloves, especially during pedicures. I noticed that once a customer left a pedicure station, they didnt use that station on other customers. I assume this is to avoid cross contamination before it can be cleaned.Atmosphere was rather soothing and they didnt know it, but my week had been rough. While I enjoy a lively place, it was really nice to relax in this gentle atmosphere.Overall, I felt that all the workers really take pride in their work, are gentle and efficient. I got the impression that all of them are equally skilled and professional (meaning, when I come back I will be happy with whichever nail tech I get).Last things:There is an extra $10 charge for cleaning up cuticles and nailbeds. Duh. This should be obvious as that would come with a plain manicure not an SNS manicure. I wasnt charged, would have happily paid it.This is a great place if you suffer from sensitivity in your nails. LV nail techs are SUPER GENTLE with everything they do.Really great place for people who regularly take care of their feet and hands. Dont come in with calluses tough as horse hooves and expect that they are going to spent 45 minutes hacking away at it. Again, they are very gentle, so you may have to make a few visits before you get your desired results. I had some hard to reach dead skin at the very bottom and soles of my feet that are now gone, but I do at home pedicures regularly. Also, while you will get a message, dont expect it will last 10-15 minutes. Its just enough to get the lotion to soak in. 2/2018.
Literally sat here for 1hr and 37min. They skipped my name on the list twice. I asked them if they provide any discount or accommodation for the long wait, and they told me No so I scratched my name off the list and went to another local shop. Five minutes later another young lady who was patiently waiting with me at LV nail came into the local shop stating that all of the LV specialist up and left the new walk in customers, meaning they got fed up and went to the back and disappeared. These people do not care about your time and patience. They do not care that you are a regular customer. These are the most unprofessionals Ive ever seen. Please go see Rose at Rose Nails she will take care of you!
My nails were perfect.
Very nice staff! Great job!
The most vile establishment in Birmingham. The overcharged me, admitted it, had me drive 45 minutes to fix it... And then changed their mind. Two friends of mine then told me about getting gang green under their nails from this place. The staff is disgustingly rude, and untrained. Their licenses are out of date, and they deserve to be shut down
New in town and I have to say I was not happy with the customer service. I walked in and no greeting from the staff. My nails are uneven and poorly done.
Not impressed!! The female that did my pedi was not good..The water was COLD, nothing pampering about this visit...Such a sorry job!!!! Wouldnt be going back
My banks fraud department is dealing with them. DO NOT GO. Find a place that does good work, does not steal and values your business.
Wondered service and friendly staff!
My nails are garbage PERIOD
I Took my girls in their and they were so rude to us.the manager told them to shut up and they werent even talking loud. The worst service ever
