Every time I go there I feel unwelcomed. I called ahead so no wait. My nails break between every appointments. I called ahead for a repair and was told to come. Got there and the young man would not repair stating I had glued it securely on. Prior repair he removed glued on nail. He once wanted to charge me additional to do a coffin shape.

I have always went to A2Z as a kid but started getting my nails done when i was out of state for school. Coming back, I made the mistake of going to a different salon in town last month. My dip manicure was chipping an peeling within a week. I went to A2Z last night and had great service! my nails look beautiful and I can already tell they are sturdier and more quality than my last manicure. For less too! And this time I had to get tips put on because the last salon I went to completely ruined my nails. will certainly be returning.

The gentleman who took over after Linda is unprofessional and rude. After patronizing for over 6 years I’ve decided to go elsewhere.

The service is nice. Ive been there twice and for some reason, my nails have not been turning out as nice as they should. I think they use old polish or something. The good thing is, its hard to tell from a distance, but I can tell by looking close up.

The employees are prejudice, rude and ignorant. I will never recommend this business to anyone. Bad customer service!!

Loved it! No chip Mani and Pedi. The pedicure was amazing, so relaxing, and awesome foot rub. Also, got an eyebrow wax. Very satisfied. They were all so nice and very reasonable prices.

I love my nails. They were very professional and we had on our masks and social distance as much as we could. I go every 2 or 3 weeks. I recommend A2Z Their prices stayed the same.

They do very good and neat work. I think they work fast but do not do a rush job. I never had to correct any technician. Genuinely friendly technicians too!

Linda WAS the best!Update: Linda is no longer at this location. Went there today and it will be my last time. Had a full set put on with ombre French tip. The guy who I assume took over the shop did my nails. He did a good job except at the end. I guess he doesnt like to work So he rushed the drying process. Got back to office like 3 nails were messed up. Had to go back to get it fixed. The dude actually had an attitude. I just paid $53 and because u didnt do your job right you have an attitude? Wont be back again. Bad customer service

Went here to relax and get a pedicure. It was my 1st time there and I must say Ill be back. Ive never had such attentive service and the massages are amazing. I really left there feeling relaxed. I must also say I tip at nail salons but Ive never tipped as much as I did here. It was well worth it! Hopefully the young lady is there when I go back

This was the first time I tried this salon and it will be the last time I ever walk in there! I had an Asian man take care of me.. he was very rough and did not understand the meaning of the word Rounded I told him that I wanted my full set of gel nails cut down to just above the finger tips and rounded. he hacked them off square and tried to say that that was round and left them way too long! when I said that I wanted them ROUNDED he pushed away from the manicure table and started yelling in his native language. Another female manicurist came and told me to point to the way I wanted my nails from some demo nails she presented to me. She yelled back at him in their native language which I thought was very rude of both of them! she finished me up and they kept arguing and yelling back and forth in their native language so that I could not understand what they were saying!... the gel he applied was way too thick! and the female manicurist did not round them either.. she left them squared and rounded only at the sides. horrible! just horrible! I can home and took a file and rounded them myself! they are very unsanitary! I did not see them clean the manicure utensils in between customers... nail clippings fly around everywhere! totally grossed me out!.. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Linda and her staff are awesome! My nails never chip after. Great prices, friendly people and a massage at end while drying (when they arent too busy) is heaven.

The $40 no chip mani pedi is my jam! Also the massage chairs and their complimentary leg massage and exfoliation is amazing. They know how to paint your nails just right so that when it grows out from the cuticle it doesn’t snag on anything.

Wonderful experience. Professional, clean, and well-ventilated. I especially enjoyed that the ladies let me sit in the massage chair for an extra few minutes after my mani and pedi was done. I’ll be back!

I have never had so much individual attention before from any nail shop in over 25 years. A friend of mine invited me to try this hidden gem out and I was blown away. I decided to go and get a Mani/pedi. Patience, professionalism, and great massages were definitely demonstrated! I would definitely be back again to see Lisa and Cyndi again! Great job ladies!

Years ago my friend and I went here for a manicure and color change. Their work was poor, they lack good customer service and they’re just plain rude. If I could give this business zero stars, I would. They do not deserve your business and they will not do a good job.

Ive been a client for about 2 years now.They do good work. Everything appears to be clean and sanitary. I havent had any complaints regarding their services.

Last time I went they chiseled and peeled off my acrylics, ripping off half of my pinky nail and exposing the nail bed. It was extremely painful and ugly. In visits prior to that one my nails were oddly shaped and uneven. Ive had too many negative experiences there to ever go back and Id recommend finding somewhere else to go if you want a painless and beautifying experience. This isnt the place to go!

It was pretty ok but the people were pretty mean and rude. They went to fast and they left an air bubble. There was one lady and a guy who was rude but the others were nice.

I can’t believe some of these reviews! I’ve had nothing but great experiences here and I’ve been coming here every other week for about 9 months now. All of the techs I’ve had do a great job and the prices are more than fair. You can’t beat $40 for a no chip mani and pedicure!

I usually love my experience at A to Z but my last visit was just before Labor Day and the shop was crowded. I was 3rd in the (seated) line and they were understaffed. Not their best day but I will continue to go.

I witnessed discrimination at this salon, first hand. The owner, Linda, refused to provide pedicure services to an individual with special needs because they were scared. The mother was present and made it very clear they were being discriminatory. The son was very docile and by no means did not appear to be a concern for being scared. It was very sad and infuriating to witness, I will never step foot in there every again.

A to Z is conveniently located in downtown Homewood, literally three minutes from where I live. So, I stopped in for a quick repair and fill-in instead of driving to my favorite shop, World Nails (shot-out to Dennis). This proved to be a terrible mistake. The woman who did my nails clearly had no skill. She had to go over my nails multiple times to get it right, and the paint job was rushed and as a result, I was left with oddly sharped, half painted nails that looked like my 8 year-old niece did them. Another thing that bothered me was that some customers get treated with a nice hand massage and shoulder rubs…NOPE, not me (and I tipped). And, to add insult to injury, my nail broke the same night! NEVER AGAIN! Had to get my nails redone two days later. Not worth my time or money.

I’ve been going to this salon for about 2 years every two weeks faithfully and never had a problem until this evening. They typicallly take the last customer at 7:30, because they close at 8, which I get. I arrived at 7pm, to ensure enough time for services. I normally take a few moments to decide the color I would like, but was asked several times within a matter of seconds by the owner to select a color. He then asked if I would mind having my mani and pedi at the same time......ok sure. Acetone was put on my nails to soak off the previous color (which I’m used to), but not even 5 minutes later, they are literally forcing the color off my nails with a filer! I asked were they in a hurry, maybe I should return the next day, but they seem to not understand what I was saying. They never placed a towel on my lap which left nail dust all over my black pant.... strike 1. My nails are being polished while my toes dry, and once your nails are done, if they feel your toes are still wet, they will place you under the dryer. This lady went and got Saran Wrap to place over my feet! Strike 2! I paid for my services, and I am a VERY GOOD tipper, but I was so dissatisfied I left a only $2 tip because I still felt obligated after the bad service. The male owner made a sarcastic chuckle, which fueled my anger more. Strike 3! I was willing to go back, but keep going in the day time versus night, but after the ignorance of the owner I will never return.

Recently just left a nail shop home due to poor customer service.. My no chip mani and pedi are perfect. They are up to date with technique, colors, etc.. Massage comes with service. 2 weeks ago I had a regular manicure. One nail was cracked so I had them put gel on it. I left satisfied (though my tech did not speak a word of English). Today I returned for another manicure.Same tech. No English. I questioned someone who speaks English about keeping the gel on the cracked nail. She says we will leave it on until next time when the nail will be more grown out. Ok. Proceed with manicure. Wait! I need someone who speaks English again as tech is removing the gel. No, there is still some there. Ok. Finish manicure. Home. Later in the evening, my nail that is supposed to still have gel on it is cracked in the same spot. I went back the next day and Linda, the owner, fixed it for me.

Im writing because of my moms bad experience here today. They made her wait quite a while for services of a mani and pedi. And once she finally started getting her manicure done by the female owner, Linda Another woman came asking for a full set, the owner proceeds to stop doing my moms mani to start this other womans full set! How rude! Why couldnt the lady wait like my mom did for her services?? Im sure the owner is not the only one in there who can do a full set. Then as icing on the cake, they initially quoted her 40 dollars for the no chip pedi and regular mani. When my mom is ready to pay, they try and change the price to 47$. (Which, in the end she only paid the 40) THEY HAVE NOW LOST TWO CUSTOMERS. Trust me, there are better and much cleaner establishments to go to.

Horrible I literally live across the street from this business and it took 4 people to do a fill in and the nail polish was all over my finger I still had to come home and file the sides of my nails because the gel was put on so sloppy. I was 1 of 4 people that received horrible service and was told to come back another day for them to fix it. Never again.
