I would say overall theyre okay. The new owners are not as friendly. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and asked for a quick eye brow wax and they wouldnt do it and couldnt even explain why. I would say the customer service is definitely poor from the owner, but the other women are nice. I used to go b/c its convenient, but too many negative experiences that I switched. You wont regret going there, but I would say take your business elsewhere .

Very nice. And nice atmosphere but unable to follow instructions. And cousins nail acrylic nail broke right after we left. And they dont have S&S powder. Maria is a great nail tech and gets booked quickly.

I love the service here! Everyone is nice, and service oriented. The place is clean and organized. Since its during covid times, they made sure to enforce the wearing of masks, social distancing and temperature checks/hand sanitizing upon guest arrival, which I think is reassuring.They have so many services! I went to get my nails done, and looooved it. They have a lot of colors to choose from (Essie) and they have different packages. I went with the basic pedi and Mani. I have received service from two aestheticians from this place and both did an amazing job. Im super detail-oriented and it will bother me when my nails arent painted perfectly or when I see a little edge left unpainted. Its Honestly a tough standard, I know, but point is on both occasions I was left SUPER happy. My nails looked perfect! I was left with the excuse to wear open toes! The pedi was super complete too, massage and wax included. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time here. The place is pretty clean for the most part.starting with the PAIN! what influenced me to write this review is due to how the technician cut my cuticles …it was wayyyyyy too much. 4 of my cuticles are still bleeding and swollen 2 days later should I wash dishes and/or fold my fingers a certain way. My fingers hurt so so bad! They were bleeding while she was doing my nails and she put something on them but they are still in pain. It’s such an uncomfortable feeling. Additionally, the technician acted as if she couldn’t take off my gel nail polish, stating it was a “weird” kind. I told her that my original technician always use a drill filer.. but instead she wrapped foil around each finger, soaking each nail in nail polish remover until my finger tips burned! It was horrible. The pedi was okay.. not much massage or scrubbing of the heel at all. Overall it was a bad experience because of the cuticle pain. If I can coach the technician on what not to do, I would go there as a last resort.

I showed up an hour before closing already feeling bad and I can’t believe how amazingly they still treated me. I’ve been to countless nail salons who rushed me during regular times and the fact that Maria (woman who serviced me) still took her time for my pedicure was truly remarkable to me. It’s funny that there’s 2 other nail saloons next door and from now on I will happily walk past them just to come here. I felt happy and very satisfied. They have a regular in me

Anna was sooo nice and welcoming when I came in!! She did my nails right away; I didn’t have to wait at all. She spent about 2 hours PERFECTING my new acrylic set. She removed my old nails and completely smoothed out and cleaned the nail underneath before putting new ones on. She got the shape absolutely perfect; I just hope they don’t break!!! Anna took her time and really did an amazing job. Thank you so much Anna, I will definitely be back.

Okay so this salon is affordable and the staff is super nice but idk if it’s my nails or them but every time I get my nails done here, it’ll last for like a few days and then they pop off or the polish starts chipping away and I always get gel so that specifically doesn’t happen.

They were nice but nails were very low quality. My nail color peeled off already after 2 days. Definitely a rip off. $60 for basic nails. Not worth it.

I went to that place twice and my experience was ok, but the third time I don’t know what kind of nail polish they used, they started peeling off in the next 24 hours and I don’t do anything that might damage my hands so it was weird, I remember the lady didn’t use OPI, it was a different one but I didn’t say anything cause I assume they know what they’re doing.Anyway, I went back and the lady (the asian one) looked at me horribly like I was lying or something, did my nails again but I never went back.Terrible experience

Do not come here unless you want to be overcharged for a poor nail job. They will scam you. They made me bleed, glued my finger to the fake nail (which was painful to separate), and the shape of it was bad even after being there for over an hour....find another place!

Went to get acrylic tips on a Wednesday. Turns out she gave me gel and two popped off by that Monday. Went back and the girl who did my nails originally replaces them with actual acrylic so now they dont match. Today is Friday and two more popped off. And i paid $75. Just poor workALSO they cut two of my cuticles wayyyy too hard and i bled

I got a manicure today and the staff were all super welcoming and accommodating to our walk-in manicure. But the quality was subpar. I got French tips and she hand painted the lines and redid it several times, but they still ended up being a little off centered. She also didn’t soak my hands in water at all which seemed a little strange to me, but maybe it’s just a different technique? And it was also strange to me that she clipped my cuticles at the very end (after painting my nails) instead of beforehand. And parts of my gel polish are kinda thick, which likely means they will peel sooner rather than later. Which is too bad!The place was clean with good prices and nice employees, but for a gel French tip it just wasn’t my fave.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I got a gel nail manicure and the lady even double checked that I liked the color before applying to all of my nails. Despite being busy she did an incredible job and really took her time to make sure they looked perfect. The gel manicure was only $25 so I’ll definitely be coming back. I didn’t see too much variation in the colors but I may have missed them this time. I would recommend this place!

If you like to bleed and have pain during a manicure pick this place! I tried to post a picture but I won’t let me over here but I added it on the general pictures (red nails)... My cuticles are trying to heal and have crusts because I bled during the treatment. Plus the spa pedicure is overpriced, the massage was inexistent and didn’t do anything to my skin... Also I went through 3 different people and I got stuck there for 3.5 hours making me late for my dinner plans because a refill and a pedi (even if “spa”) shouldn’t take this long.The place itself looks clean and nice but sorry I won’t be back due to poor service and not worth $100.

I love this place! I have been coming here for a couple of years now. The prices are affordable and staff is always friendly! Lisa and Maria are my go to when I get my nails done. Great selection for colors and nail designs. With the gel manicure and regular pedicure you get a special little foot treatment during the winter to keep them moisturized and even includes a little back massage! The prices are very affordable and worth it!

I didn’t get what I want I asked for certain things and the lady just wanted it her way, plus I don’t know what kind of acrylic they use but when my hands went in the Uv lamp it really hurt and I felt some type of sting, it was my first and last time there. And on top of that I paid 80$ for nails that didn’t even please me. My nails lasted 3 days 😐. I do not recommend, they all went flying and didn’t even last a week, so disappointed and never going back .

I was quite surprised to see the new management when I walked in recently. They went through a complete renovation inside and it looks clean! The new atmosphere is great, and whats special is the new glassy pedicure bowls!

I will return. Very professional and the technicians knew what they were doing. I had to say that because some nail technicians should not be in that type of job. Ijs

For the last 5 months, I’ve had my nails done solely at Nail Boutique. I’ve only had gel manicures and non-gel pedicures, (so, I can’t comment on acrylic nails or waxing services)but have been very pleased with the outcome each time.I like all of the nail techs, but my favorite tech is Martha - she is attentive and talented - I can’t recommend her enough!There is sometimes a wait, but their prices are very reasonable and their service is very good. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time a few years ago with friends after my divorce was finalized (you might say they helped get me back on my feet? 😏). Really lovely, attentive staff and a comfortable, pleasant set up. Ive been going ever since.

Ive been very impressed with the service. Despite the Monday-Thursday promo price being a good deal for me, I have been consistently receiving a great service from the technicians. I got Green Tea Spa Pedicure last Thursday and I was really relaxed and the service was outstanding. Im happy that Ive found this nail salon that provides consistently outstanding services in Highland Park! Way to go Nail Boutique!

Do not recommend it.They didnt a really bad job shaping my nails and really messed up my cuticles. I kept telling her it hurts when she is removing the cuticles and she said it just the way to get your nails done. My finger tips hurt really bad afterwards. They charged $60 for a full set instead of $45 according to their price board.I read about some bad comments about this nail salon but I decided to give it a try. And I was wrong. Shouldnt pay 60 bucks to get my nails hurt.

They do not at all respect peoples time and the owner is so rude !! Im STILL waiting here since 6:15 for a manicure and pedicure that I made an appointment for !!! They close at 7 and its now 6:45..... never waste your time here !!!!!!!!!

Tracy and Anna are both great! I get gel manicures and regular pedicures and have always been pleased since day 1. $25 for gel mani and shoulder massage? Yes please! I highly recommend calling ahead and scheduling an appointment- it’s on a busy street and they don’t always have an available person for walk ins.

My nails are uneven and a bit sloppy. Too much acrylic was applied and I can see my old gel polish through the new set. Also, I felt rushed, which is odd considering there was never more than two people being serviced the whole 2 hours I was there. In general, I think the techs nor owner liked that I was am particular about my nails. Having just moved here, I want to find a place that can be my new go-to nail salon. This isnt it. I though the prices felt the most reasonable for the area but the attitudes and the sloppiness werent worth it.

I showed them a nail design I wanted, she asked if I could afford it. And I cant get it cause it will make me crazy, so I picked a different color and told them what desgin I wanted. They just did their own thing, then when they do eyebrows, they dont go with the shape of your eyebrow. Mine were so uneven, I had to pay more money to get them fixed. Worse nail salon ever!

I went to the Nail Boutique and the nail tech asked me if my hair was real and I told her YES and she proceeds to touch my HAIR to check if the roots are real. My nails were under the UV Light so I didnt slap her hand away but I felt like yelling and she cut my cuticles. If you go here get the spa pedicure because the other pedicure is not good.

Absolute WORST SERVICE. If I make an appointment, it’s for a reason. My appointment was at 12:45 and they said if I could wait. Waited until 1:20, and still nothing. It was ridiculous. Never going back to a place that doesn’t take their costumer’s time seriously.

Went for the first time, very friendly staff and super clean. Got a mani and pedi. Definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back there. Ana and Jenny were great.

I normally come to this spot when I don’t make it to Edison, i have one person that does my nails (not sure what her name is, might be the manager) and she always gives me exactly what I want . I actually went recently and got my nails done I guess it was to early and she wasn’t there and I had someone else do my nails, omg i really didn’t like the results to much, I wanted coffin shape they look square, I felt like she was rushing, the look very uneven (not to much) normally I would get them long but this time I didn’t because they complain about how much nail polish is being used, so I got them shorter then normal and I still spend over $60, I come here because it’s close to home but I might have to reconsider .. It’s a clean environment and I can usually get in and out because it’s not so packed . But I get there at 930 and left at like 1240 it was crazy and I was the only one there and getting my nails done so I don’t know why the process took soo longBut manager helped make some changes and shaped my nails up lovely (still not the shape that I wanted, but it definitely put me alittle more at ease )) ooh one of my nails seem to be crooked !!!Overall the lady was nice, I just wished she listened to my demands more especially when I told her I wanted coffin shape nails and told her how to shape them

I’ve never been the type to be a regular at a service shop because of my pickiness but I came here a couple of times and I tend to go back when I’m due for another mani/pedi. Sometimes I add wax too. It’s affordable for a college girl like me. I get the bang for my buck and I never feel guilty or regret it. I recommend Anna. She sat next to the front counter.

Needed to get Pedi done quickly before friends Rutgers Graduation. Was surprised how new and clean it was compared last year back when I had french mani done for Christmas. Looks like its under new management? Friendly staff, really clean with their newly renovated interior. Affordable price. I loved it. Found my go-to place. Def returning in 2 weeks! Oh, and their new glass bowl Pedi chair looks really pretty.

Place is the absolute worst! Nails were done very poorly and the staff was very rude and made you feel uncomfortable. Spoke to the manager about the situation and she was rude as well and unwilling to comply. Would not recommend.
