This is my updated review after visiting in on previous years: BEST CROSSFIT/fitness/gym ever ... that simple. They have adapted during this quarantine/pandemic period and are offering the best possible safe service they can:-hands and shoes sanitation stations before getting inside the workout area.- reduced class participation in order to maintain social distancing and provide a designated workout area. temperature check for each person arriving.- cleaning to used equipment is done before and after each workout.- the quality of the workouts and instructions remain high. Certain things such as accessories are ‘bring your own’ in order to reduce exposure by sharing those equipment.- bathrooms are open and there is a water station for bottle refills only.By far a great sample of CrossFit community and how to help their member stay strong, fit and healthy.

The other members were very friendly and all three coaches I met were amazing. Coaches broke down every movement into each critical step to get your form correct. 15 person class had a wide range of experience in it but everyone made to feel welcome. Still have alot to learn but they make the journey enjoyable. A great experience and will visit again!

I came from out of town and was itching to find a box. I found CrossFit Reston and quickly called Jeff to see if folks from out of town were allowed to train there. Not only were they allowed to train there, but they didnt charge me! The facility has great equipment, the coaches were very personable and easy to work with, and the members were great as well. Id highly recommend this gym.

Love this gym! Great trainers who encourage everyone to do the most they can, but also make sure everyone trains safely and doesnt take on something theyre not prepared for.

I have been attending this gym for over a year almost everyday and believe I can claim to be an expert in gyms (see credentials below.) This is a great gym, 100% worth it.  In my time here, the equipment was always in working condition, clean, classes started on time even when previous classes spilled over, professional coaches, and the workouts are well thought out.The athlete to coach ratio is great as classes have a main coach explaining the workout, and a second, sometimes even a third, coach walking around working with individuals as they see issues.  If you think your technique is perfect everyday, and you wouldnt benefit from a technique tune-up your IQ is probably less than that of Jar-Jar Binks.  This multiple coach concept gets interesting when you realize that class size is unknown until the class starts, as athletes can attend whichever class they want, no signing up for a time slot beforehand. I have found this perfect for my lifestyle. On your way out the door to the gym when you learn even your dog cant stomach your bad cooking? Thats OK! Every 45 minutes another class starts, just catch the next one! (10 classes/opportunities a weekday at the writing of this review.)  Each day has a unique workout, each class that day is the same workout.  I have been in many classes that ended up being overstaffed, but only 2 in the last year that I wasnt stopped from inventing new ways to use my health insurance due to a lack of staff. The coaches are well trained with some difficult to get high level certifications, and they prove those papers worth on a daily basis.  This is VERY important as Crossfit asks its athletes to do complicated lifts as fast as you can; a recipe for injuries if the athlete AND coach are inexperienced. I wont claim that every coach here is amazing, but none of them have given me bad technical advice or blatantly failed to stop people from hurting themselves I have experienced in other gyms.  Have they always been able to articulate how I should fix something? No, but they also havent tried to fix something they dont understand.  Personally, several of my technical lifting issues would look transparent to a run-of-the-mill coach due to my lifetime of experience.  More than one of the top coaches here have noticed and fixed nuances to my technique that only an elite level coach would be able to spot and articulate.  Ive recommended this gym to a friend who has never worked out and an Olympian without hesitation.  Here, newer athletes get lots of needed attention and elite athletes have access to other professionals to push them and fix issues.  (This gym currently has at least 3 Crossfit Games competitors that I know of)The costs are comparable to other gyms, not noticeably more or less.  The crowd who attends this gym are friendly and there to workout.  A stark contrast to many gyms in NOVA who have some interesting characters that would make a killing on a reality TV show or patrons who are half-ass working out because they came for the meat market. This gym participates in special nationwide event workouts throughout the year, a smattering of social events, and lightly offers some other things like nutrition, yoga, teen Crossfit, personal training, and elite lifting classes.Long story short: If you are looking for a gym youve found it.Reviewers credentials:30 years in athleticsFormer USA National Team CoachGuinness World Record Athletics Judge2x D1 College National Champion
