Third time Ive made an appointment, arrived early, and then was not seen until 15+ minutes past appointment time. Today I arrived without an appointment about Noon. I was told no availability until later. Made appointment at the offered time of 3:30. I arrived at 3:10. I still wasnt even soaking at 3:45 when I left. I told them I was a customer of 8-10 years and this was the third time this delay happened. I informed them they had lost a loyal customer. If you commit to an appointment, it means you have staff available around that time. I feel they service walk-ins over appointments.

I want them to remodel the place. They need new pedicure spa chairs because the look bad. I can say Teresa did a wonderful job.

I have been going here to get my nails done on and off since 2016. Every time I have gotten my toes or nails done by Kevin, I have been very unimpressed. 1: he messes up my toes. 2: my nails are not shaped how I asked and they are bumpy. 3: He does not have a personality. If you aren’t getting your nails done by David, you might as well just leave. David is the only one who is pleasant in the shop.

I wanted so bad to like this place but the owner is very rude & they don’t do what you ask for.We scheduled our appointments before arrival. I told the receptionist I wanted a full set. She stated to me that my natural nails was long enough an I didn’t need a full set. First red flag.When i sat down to get my nails done, i told the tech i want a full set. She said the owner won’t let me only certain people do certain things. She went to the owner with my request. The lady Tina told her i had to wait a additional hour because i changed my mind. In reality i told the receptionist wat i wanted it seem like they didn’t want to do a full set only mani & pedi.The shop had 4 customers & 6 techs that i saw. The owner was rushing the techs to get clients in & out & had the receptionist walking around standing over the techs to monitor their work. This was very uncomfortable & not relaxing. The receptionist misunderstood a clients request. The owner yelled at her in front of the customers. This was definitely the worse experience i ever had at a nail shop. Safe to say, i will not revisit this place.

I usually do not do this kind of thing because I understand people have bad days and people make mistakes but today was an awful experience, for me anyway. When I entered the facility I found it strange that my sister over heard the owner talking about me only for the simple fact that I didn’t want to sit down. We were waiting for about 20-25 minutes so I ended up sitting down anyway. Once I was seated to finally get my nails done I told the nail technician what I wanted and he told me he could not add a snowflake to one of my nails, strange how my sister was able to get one but okay. I also got coffin shaped nails, and he completely messed up my middle finger nail. It’s a diagonal line, not a coffin shape. Once my nails were finished I just was unhappy to pay 50 dollars for what I have. Totally will not return for their services.

My nails look great and the gentleman took his time. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because I have never had to pay extra to get one color of gel polish on my full set of nails. It’s always been included when I go anywhere. So on top of paying the $55 for the set with no polish, I was charged $35 for the polish. And no one told me this ahead of time so it was definitely a surprise.

The paraffin wax pedicure is the best and they always have me in and out. There is hardly ever a long wait and I always get good service.

I did not want to spend a lot on my nails and was in a hurry before work ( I came in 3 1/2 hours before having to go in) just wanted them painted for a vacation this week, so I went on Saturday and got the classic manicure. I guess you have to pay for the more expensive services for them to do a decent job because I waited an hour while my friend got her nails done and when my tech finally came, she was clearly in a hurry. The color does not cover my nails, most of the edges are not painted. It is uneven at the nail bed which is also uneven.Very unimpressed. I did not pay for extra services, but if they can not do a good job on the most basic thing, why would I?

This place was great! Everyone was very kind and they made you feel like a queen. I got the Sea Salt pedi and it was glorious. My feet and legs feel brand new! Plus complimentary wine and the massage chairs were great. It was affordable and offered many options for pedicures. I will definitely be back!

Kevin did my nails and I showed him a picture before he started of stiletto nails and told him I like them very sharp. He said okay then proceeded and completely filled off the tips of the nails making the more almond them stiletto. During the process he completely filled off the side of my thumb nail, leaving it exposed and throbbing. Then proceeded to charge me $75 for a set that looks nothing like I asked for and an exposed nail bed

I made an apt for a Saturday for myself and 5 of my bridesmaids. They required a deposit which was fine. Everything went really well. They did great, all of the girls loved it there. We did have a bit of a water leak but the employees handled it with grace and cleaned it quickly while others still continued getting their pedicures. Very impressed with this nail spa!

Used to be a regular here but not anymore. Had always been very accommodating getting you right in and did a great job.last few times hard to get in without long wait and felt my services were rushed through. Left feeling more stressed than pampered for sure. Nails had sharp sides and just werent done well at all.

I am literally writing this review while I sit in the chair, and this is by far one of the best pedicures i’ve ever had. Linda Ly is absolutely WONDERFUL, and funny! I am excited to say that I found my new spot! I will be a loyal regular, that’s for sure!

I went there with my 2 best friends for this girls day out, we got our toes done. the ladies were very nice and friendly but 1) she rushed it and was very sloppy 2) she missed half my nail on my big toe and painted a big area of my skin on my pinky toe and didn’t go back to fix it 3) she rushed me into those flip flops so fast that she messed up my nail and then started fussing at me 4) the air vent she put my under to dry my toes wasn’t even on and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on 5) when she was scrubbing my legs, she scrubbed them in the same areas and so hard that my legs were very uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice place and it’s very clean and they even offered me a water and were very outgoing. I just wish she would of payed more attention to my toe nails.

Got the deluxe pedicure. I’ve never had a pedicure be this awful. Paid $43 for it to look like a 4 year old painted my toes. I had polish on the skin around my toenails and some of my toenails weren’t even fully painted. I will never go back to this place.

Stay away, go anywhere else!!!! I went to get a refund, and the manager said it is company policy to not refund money. That as a customers only recourse for poor service, gel style nails that fall off, chip, and break the very next day. The managers response was the technicians work for commission and that a refund was impossible. Because the owners wasn’t going to pay for a technicians poor work. Additionally the manager said he was to busy to talk to me about my situation. After owning restaurants, I was never to busy to speak with an u happy guest or refund a guests money who wasn’t happy! This is the wrong way to run a business. Thank You Tina’s Nails for poor customer service and a horrible manicure.

Been there a few times,” was good turn out!” The last time two days ago horrible,” it took the guy over two hours!” Told him they weren’t right,” had the sns nails done as usual!” A hot mess, brought it to the attention of them, and he made my nails worse! I got a deluxe pedicure & my feet have never been smoother she even buffed those pesky callouses.Shes gentle & friendly which was great !!there’s a menu with all options & pricing which is awesome!! My friend and I came here to get our nails done for her high school graduation, which was that night. When we got there, they were a little bit busy, but not too bad. The receptionist told us it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. We sat down and waited for almost an hour! My friend ended up having to leave because she had to be at the school by 1 for rehearsal. I finally got called to my table, and then I waited at least another 20 minutes for somebody to come do my nails. Not only was the wait long, but customer service was terrible! The whole time I was waiting for somebody to come do my nails, not one person said anything to me. I kept looking back and seeing that several people who came in AFTER me were already at their table getting their nails done and I STILL hadnt been seen. Tina was the one who did my nails, and she was very rude and rough on my nails. My nails are sore to the touch now. Would not recommend.

Absolute worst experience of my entire life. I went in to get a full set out on and right out of the gate it went down hill, he put the glue and nail tip on then tried to rip it off ripping off my skin! I have a high threshold for pain but I wasn’t expecting that and literally jumped and let out a scream. Then I asked for almond shaped nails and he tells me he is going to charge me ten extra dollars for it, after ripping off my skin. As he started to shape them it seemed as if he was shaping them more as a stiletto shape vs almond so I had to get out my phone and show him a picture of what I wanted. As it continued every time he touched my nail (that he ripped the skin off of) I would flinch due to the pain. Upon leaving, my hands are messing the shapes aren’t even and I have a big glob of gel paint on one of my fingers, he reached over to try and rip that off too, but I told him not to touch it because I didn’t want flesh ripping off my skin again, so then he proceeds to saturate a cotton ball and tells me to press it on my finger, then acetone spills on my lululemon pants! I repeated myself and told him I would take care of it later! Just awful and all this for 65 bucks!!! Never have I ever had this terrible of an experience! I will not be going back there....ever! It looks like my 5 year old did my nails

Update: the owner pulled my friend and tried to make amends, thinking she was the one that wrote the review. She said she didn’t think they deserved one star, so I’m going to go ahead and leave a second because she made an effort. Of course, I was overcharged and refunded - but that falls back on the insanely rude receptionist. She ignored me when I said that I didn’t want a traditional manicure and then charged me for it. When I asked her which receipt she was giving me, she crumpled it up. Tina, you’re doing a great job- but that girl has got to go if you want a real impression of a great salon when customers walk in the door.We made an appointment for our bridal party months in advance. We even called to confirm. That preface makes for a confusing one star review. Our appointment was at 2. My pedicure started at 3. The bride’s started at 3:30. We explained to the (incredibly rude, but we’ll get to that later) receptionist that ALL of the girls except the MOB needed the same color. Sounds simple, right? We wanted the same color on our toes and a few of us had more expensive manicures scheduled as well- but all needed the same color. The first bridesmaid was finished an hour before the bride had even started. Wrong color. Not like oh we didn’t like the shade but seriously orange instead of a light pink. Charged her $12 to change the color to the correct one. The owner argued with the bride because it wasn’t the tech’s fault. Well, we know that. We’re not a group of hard to please can I speak to the manager and get free things girls, but of course that’s how we were treated from the beginning. The incredibly rude receptionist, paired with a less rude but also sort of insufferable one, yelled at the bride, asked us three times what color we wanted, and was caught openly complaining about our group. I have more, but I’ve bored you with enough details at this point. Just know that the floor was wet, the services were very late and then very rushed, and the pedicure in general was underwhelming. I’m glad there’s a hiring sign in the window, but Tina’s might want to consider getting their broken and “leaky” chairs fixed before another patron soaks their purse when they put it on the floor. Update: it has been two hours and some girls still haven’t been helped.

This place definitely used to be the go to spot. I think the business got good so they needed more workers and decided to hire anybody because the employees now do not seem professional or hold the same business values they used to have.

I went there today and wanted to get a set put on, with gel polish. I had gel on when I walked in, they told me it had to be soaked off.. Gel doesnt have to be soaked off. They can use the drill. Well, they didnt tell me that soaking them off cost an extra $10. Who wants to pay that? No one. Then a set was 40, and then to do gel polish was an EXTRA $25 dollars, plus $10 for soaking off.. $75.. I have NEVER in my life paid that much for a set with gel... Never. $45 tops.. But $75!?They didnt tell me all these things ether. First time going back here in 5 years so I didnt know.. Thats just taking peoples money.. I will never ever step back here. NEVER. Way over priced and they dont even look that great.

My daughter and I went last Saturday, for a pedicure, and just some Mother/Daughter time together. We got their about 5pm, and the place was busy! We thought sure we would have to wait for a while! Told us to pick out our color, and got us both right back! 😱 The 2 techs were VERY NICE, and did a GREAT job on our toes! I have never been their before, and I dont know about getting a manicure, but I would DEF recommend Tinas for a pedicure!

My experience here wasn’t good at all I was greeted by Lisa was very nice. Outside of that my nail tech was Thao. I really felt like she rushed my nails due to nails being crooked and I had to tell her to repolish four nails because they were lumpy. I got recommended by a friend to come here once when I moved back to Nashville, but definitely won’t be back.

This was my second time to go to the salon and I have never been treated so poorly at a nail salon. They took me back to start my pedicure, where I waited for 20 minutes with no water. I then asked how much longer and they another 10 minutes before someone could see me. I had somewhere to be and since I had wasted so much time waiting I wasnt able to stay. I understand if I had to wait but I was never told I would have to wait and employees kept looking away from me as they walked by. Too overpriced and not very good customer service for me to ever go back.

If you have time to wait all day then this place is for you. Went in to Tinas and was told that it would take about 30 minutes to get a full set. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes I asked how much longer it would take. The receptionist informed me that it would be another 30 minutes or so. Too busy for my liking and wont be back.

I had my nails done for my birthday today at Tinas. It was a very good experience. My nail tech, Siam, did a wonderful job. I am very pleased and will be visiting again.

I absolutely loved my experience! We brought my daughter for her 7th birthday and she and I and my mother in law all got a French gel manicure. The atmosphere is relaxing, its clean, the techs were friendly and professional. My daughter kept using the uv hand dryer wrong and her poor tech must have redone each thumb at least 10 times! But she remained extremely patient and professional and she didnt try to rush my little girl through the arm massage and hot towel even though she had spent way more time than usual redoing the thumb nails and helping my daughter hold her hands in the dryer correctly. I was so impressed! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Very clean and organized. The complementary wine is uber cheap tasting but I got tipsy off of nust one glass. Its kinda over priced but the quality of their work makes it seem worth it.

Terrible experience on more than one occassion at Tinas. My last, and WILL BE my last experience with Tinas, involved a nail tech sanding SO intensely on 2 of my nails while applying a new pink and white set that 2 areas oozed blood underneath the nail after the nails had been applied. I ended up with dark spots which look like fungus so that I now have to wear color until they grow out. I went back and told Tina about it and all she could say was OK. No concern or remorse that this was done at her salon. Tina had quoted me $16.00 for my fill, yet when she ran my credit card she charged me $18.00. I asked her about it and she said it was $2.00 for cut down. Who charges extra to trim your nails?While I was sitting at her station, I observed her being rude to several customers and talking about customers behind their backs.This salon appears to only be in business for the money. They try to herd so many customers in and out of there for the money with no concern for customer service or quality.At one of my visits, a customer next to me was complaining that she was injured and bleeding with her pedicure she just had. She even showed me her bleeding toe. No one cared.I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone.

Receptionist Brittany was very friendly..Kevin did my pedicure was no conversation at all..I tried to let him know exactly how I wanted my nails cut and several times he was hurting me..Not only during the process of the pedicure but while polishing my toenails the position he would raise my legs above the table to look at my nails..I explained I had back surgery and could not raise my legs..Needless to say I left very upset and got home only to realize my pedicure and my nails were very uneven and the polish on my toes which had gel was already popping up..my heels and my toes didnt even look or feel like I had a pedicure. I called back and Brittany was very sweet..advised Tina would be calling.. I never received a call. I returned to have my pedicure redone and requesting that Someone else other than Kevin. I sat and waited for over 30 minutes and much to my surprise and disappointment Kevin was who came to do my Pedicure well as it goes I had to tell him I had gel in my toes he finally got it removed...put my feet in the water only to wet them and run run the little scrubber over my heels momentarily and he was done seriously.. this was problem I came to get a pedicure to begin with..no lotion in my feet either again he hurt me filing and I left 2 hours later looking worse today than I did when I came in on Friday..i will not be back after $129.00..

Last sunday me and my mom went. i was going to get acrylics and my mom got a pedicure and i sat in the chair waiting for someone to walk up to me and do my nails and i wanted for an hour and nobody even said a word to me. my mom was completetly done and nobody had said anything to me. so we had to leave because i had to go to a party

I am writing this review to counter what was said regarding the bridal party that came in on 6.14.18. I was there the whole time and watched the whole situation unfold.First off I have been going to Tinas since 2003. She is by far the most outstanding nail tech I have ever had do my nails, and I have been to SEVERAL. Her staff are on point and that is cause she runs a tight ship which rightfully so. She wants her customers to be treated fair, with respect, and with great quality. ALL of which happens everyday!Now back to the situation with the SNOWFLAKES!!! First, they made their appt. 3 days prior for a party of 10 I believe. At the time of their booking (3 days prior) they were informed that not all of them would be worked on at the same time due to it being such short notice and there not being enough techs scheduled. The MOB said that was fine and that they could wait. Second, they only booked time for pedicures, at which point, upon arrival decided to add in manicures, SNS, and gel. All of which, speaking from experience, takes a lot longer which then takes that tech away from helping the next SNOWFLAKE in line. Third, not one of them mentioned to their nail tech or the receptionist about them all having to have the same color. IF that were the case the girl that was finished 1st shouldve stopped the tech at the time she was having her toes painted and said Im sorry but that is the wrong color and might I mention on a side note that the TECHS DONT EVER PICK OUT THE COLOR!!!! So that is a failure on the SNOWFLAKES part. Once the LEAD SNOWFLAKE (bride) examined, after she had been already pacing back and forth watching like a hawk, the work being done not saying a word, she decides she doesnt like the color her friend picked she made her change the color, at which point would cost her. Anytime there is a polish change there is a charge and rightfully so considering its taking the tech to redo something that wasnt necessary. I mean why does it matter if EVERY SNOWFLAKE is matching exactly? Are they planning on taking pics of just their feet and hands? Fourth, the receptionist did her job in a very nice but confident way letting them know everything that they needed to know. It isnt her fault that not one of them mentioned they all wanted the SAME color. Not only that if that were the case why didnt the LEAD SNOWFLAKE make the appt instead of asking her mother, and letting Tinas know that they all needed to be matching. What if there wasnt enough of the color to put on all of them? BE PREPARED SNOWFLAKES BE PREPARED!!!! Fifth, there was absolutely no YELLING involved. I guess talking to someone in a normal tone to these SNOWFLAKES is considered yelling cause heaven forbid they are talked to in anything above a whisper.Anyway, enough about them, the point is Tinas is a very well known and sought after nail salon not only in Hendersonville, but the Nashville area. They do exceptional work and Tina is not going to let her staff do half a half ass job. IF that were the case she wouldnt be the successful person she is. Also, make sure when you go, not only Tinas but anywhere, you know what you want done and you COMMUNICATE that to the tech. Its not hard people!

Had a pedi here and got ingrown nails on both of my big toes. Offered a lot of different services but I would not go back.

I came from NJ to visit my fiance in nashville and was late in booking an appointment at the nail bar. This was on a monday at 4pm and I decided to go to nail bar as a walk in and wait the 45 mins i was quoted but on my way there i saw Tinas nail salon and decided to see what their wait was. There was no wait. The atomsphere was relaxing everyone was so so nice and the place was very clean. Not to mention i have been to 20 nail salons in NJ, PA, and TN and never have i seen one this nice. They give you a menu of their services i decided to go with regular pedicure and gel manicure. They give you a glass of wine as you have your pedicure. The nail tech took her time doing my pedicure and manicure she gave an amazing massage. And i cannot stress how great my nails look. Gel manicure is supposed to last 2 weeks it has been 3 weeks and my nails have not even chipped a little i have never had a manicure last this long! The only downside is that they are expensive. I got the cheapest services and my bill was $68 but 3 weeks later im thinking it was money well spent bc it looks like this mani pedi will last at least a month if not longer! Great service!

If you are not getting a pedicure, you will wait forever for any other service. Regardless the folks come in after you, if they get a pedicure they are taken before you. I waited almost 2.5 hrs for a fill in and toe polish. They good work other than the bad customer service.

Nails look very dull and not shiny. Ive had the shellac for less than a week and Kevin who did my nails was rude, never smiled or spoke to me. I tried making conversation and he was rude. nails look blotchy like theres not enough polish on them. Will not be back
