The people in the office are very nice and professional, the maintenance crew on the other hand is very poor quality. In fact it is the worst maintenance crew we have encountered. They DO NOT KNOW what they are doing, they do the bare minimum.They come up with excuses such as “ I’m almost off, I won’t have time to do that “ when it is a 15min task at most. They have said “ Talk to the office, the office never tells us anything “ We talk to the office and they shift the blame back to maintenance.We don’t ask for much, we don’t bug.When a water heater is out for days… with no response or just excuses that is an issue. The A/C has gone out twice. It took them days to fix it the first time, the second time they did come within a few hours.Overall it has been a negative experience with this maintenance crew at this property.

I’m in LOVE with this property.Apartment searching can be stressful & overwhelming, especially during this time, BUT all the Ovation Properties are awesome especially when they work together to find you the best fit for your wants & needs.Ashley P. assisted my boyfriend and I with getting an apartment & answered all of our questions.Great response time, always friendly, and there’s always a welcoming vibe.

Cockroaches were all over (caught more than 50 of them inside the apartment during my stay of a little over 6 months) but the pest control they provided wasn’t helpful at all. Lots of people carelessly smoked despite kids being around even in the pool but staffs weren’t taking hard actions at all to those wrong behavior. People walk the dogs around the grass in the center of the community and very often didn’t pick up after their dogs. Raised the rent drastically right before I moved out. Staffs and maintenance service aren’t too bad.

This place is wonderful and located in a great neighborhood. Overall a wonderful place to rent. We were on a tight schedule with move in unfortunately we didn’t have the pleasure of renting with them. These places go FAST! However, the staff and community are a pleasure. Ask for Greg Jones who helped us out with our tour and inquiries.

Chateau Calais is such a wonderful place to live! Shanaiya is amazing! She always goes above and beyond to get the job done!! The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. The grounds are well kept, the service team is very knowledgeable and my service requests are handled quickly. I highly recommend Chateau Calais if you’re looking for a new apartment home, you won’t regret it!

Living here is great! The neighborhood is friendly and very quiet so there are not many disturbances throughout the night. In addition, this is a gated community so it is fairly safe to live in. Some concerns I have with the apartments are that the lights and blinds may need repairing, but that is no problem because the apartment repairmen could be contacted and will help you with your issue. Rent is quite expensive here, but I think it compensates with the amenities and the gated community here.

After living here a couple of weeks I can say that the staff is very professional. I had several maintenance requests that were addressed in a timely manner. Benny went above and beyond what I expected when making repairs. Shanaiya in the office ensured my family had a smooth transition into our unit and promptly addressed our questions and concerns. At this point the only thing preventing a five star rating is that the unit is a bit dated.

I contacted Chateau Calais on 5/4/2020 and had the pleasure of speaking with Megan Borg. I have to say that I was so impressed with her professionalism and phone etiquette that I had to ask if she was from Vegas since that was not the norm. Vegas is a great city but you often do not receive customer service like I received today. During my phone call I asked numerous questions and Megan displayed a vast amount of knowledge, adaptability, and was eager to help in anyway possible. I have spoken with numerous properties and I have not had the level of customer service like I received today. Truly impressed!

I lived at this complex for over a year and a half and have had nothing but complaints & frequent issues with plumbing & appliance malfunctions. I own 2 dogs which naturally bark in excitement when I return home from work (something I have no control over). I received numerous complaints of noise disturbances as a result my dogs excitement. I even limited nightlife activities and kept them locked up in the bathrooms, laundry room & closet and still continued receiving complaints. The light bulbs upon move in were of an orange yellowish color that made the place look dull and gloomy. The carpet was old with many noticeable stains and patchwork. The washer and refrigerator was leaking water within the first week and the toilet levers were corroded and non function-able. The vinyl laminate in the kitchen was bubbling and looked like it was a rush job. None of the door locks worked. Due to the impact COVID has had on my financial status as well as many others, I had to obtain another residence that was more suitable for my budget and had to terminate my lease early. As a result I was fined $1500. No empathy from this complex at all whatsoever it was either pay or well send it to collections and itll ruin your credit.. Ok, no big deal we scavenged whatever little we had left to break our lease so we could just be done with this place. After we returned our keys and garage remote, we were sent a bill for an additional $937 citing damages to the carpet, 2 doors & vinyl. Weve had issues with one of the doors upon move in that we placed 2 service requests for replacement. Both requests were ignored and the matter was considered addressed or settled by the complex. All they did was take a picture of the issue and then they never got back to me both times. As mentioned earlier, the carpet upon move in was not brand new carpet. It was old, stained with noticeable patch work in various places of the apartment. The complex would not give me a detailed explanation regarding the reasoning for carpet replacement since we were promised by Shanaiya that the apartment would be perfect upon move in. Instead they simply told me it was not in the same condition it was in upon my initial move in. It appears that this complex will nickel and dime you for as much as they can get away with. They even refused to do the final walk through with us citing it was a health concern regarding COVID, when in fact its not only very possible to maintain 6ft distance between two individuals in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, but they had no problems with me, my fiancé and Shanaiya in an office together. Bottom line I lost $3,000 for the non refundable down payment for initially securing this apartment (including pet fees), an additional $1,500 for breaking the lease early, my $500 deposit, and $397 they agreed to discount me $40 for my troubles for a grand total of: $5,397.Edit: I forgot to add some of our mail was still being sent to this complex. My fiancé called for them to check our old mailbox to retrieve some important and very much needed mail. They told her that they didnt have anything which is a lie because we confirmed with one of our credit card companies that they mailed one of our replacement cards to our old address and did not receive any returned mail from the complex even after we updated our address.If you enjoy being taken advantage of & charged mortgage prices for rent by all means this is the place for you!

The fact that a pandemic is going on doesnt allow for faulty customer service. I inquired about a 2 bedroom apartment and was told that I could see a particular floor plan as a self-guided tour. An appointment was set for the next day (today) and I drove over to Chateau Calais and called the office only to receive a voicemail to leave a message for someone to call me back. I responded to the email thread letting the office staff know that I had arrived for my appointment. No response (still one hour later) to my email. I had to call Ovation corporate in order to get a hold of someone who then told me that the floor plan that I wanted to look at was not available to view because it became rented and the next one available was May 3rd. Well in the email thread they only told me of the May 3rd unit and another one for June 18th. Then the young lady proceeded to tell me that she can show me a completely different floor plan which is not the one that I wanted to view. The most inconsiderate part of all this is even if the apartment that they were going to show me became rented no had the good common sense to call or email me letting me know that I wont be able to see the apartment. Instead they allowed me to drive 25 minutes there, not answer the phone, and not respond to the email. Incidentally, someone left me a message as I was typing this review but now I am no longer interested in living there.

Scorpions.Do not move here. Poor customer service, scorpions, and money hungry company. I’ve been asking for WiFi since May in the clubhouse and no one can get it fixed. I even emailed corporate and crickets. Cops are there constantly responding to calls and there is no security. The service is always poor and no one can ever fix the issues in my apartment. No compassion from the company and the front desk staff and they are just money hungry. Stay away from this apartment complex.

I moved into Chateau last month and Ive had a really good experience. The application process was really easy and fast, I moved in a couple days later. I worked with Lexy during the application and she was really helpful and made the process that much easier. She wasnt in the office when I moved in but Sonia and the Chateau team were awesome and took the same care with me that Lexy did. Thank you all for making moving so easy!

When I moved here about 9 months ago there were a lot more maintenance staff on the property. As this is a large community. Despite the obvious shortage of staff. The maintenance crew works very hard in being professional and organized in processing the work orders especially Jose who has assisted me in my unit with the heater especially since the weather is starting to change. Jose is knowledgeable and definitely a asset to the Chateau Calais community.

The wonderful people at the Chateau Calais leasing office have been very helpful and have answered my questions about available apartments and the whole application process! I was initially very worried to correspond as COVID-19 has made it so that I can not directly got to the office itself, but Meghan and Alexus made everything a breeze. I want to complain about the condition of the apartment that we moved into in August but I wont, basically because the staff has been so accommodating to get things fixed in a timely manner, however there are a couple of outstanding tasks that we are waiting to be resolved.We are slowly getting settled and enjoying our new home and looking forward to nice weather so we can enjoy the outside facilities and Looking forward toMeeting our new neighbors.We want to thank the front office staff for making our move into Chateau Calais a very pleasant experience.

Our apartment was burglarized and they won’t let us move out to a sister apartment across the street! It took them over a month to fix our door that was pried and kicked down breaking the entire frame of the door. This was in broad daylight when the school next door was getting out! The door handle is still loose and we don’t feel safe in our home! There was another burglary a couple buildings away a day after ours and they’re not doing anything about it. Who knows how many more there have been. The front gates are always broken allowing whoever to drive on in and people are always propping the doors to the community all around. There’s been an increase in Cox, ADT, and Ring signs as well as police in the complex. Coincidence? I think not. No empathy, no care, no apology, no action. Not worth putting you or your family at risk.

We love it here. Been here since July and honestly havent had much to complain about. I feel safe here, the grounds are well kept. The staff is always willing to help out. The maintenance guys are amazing. They work so hard and have always gone out of their way to repair things that break. The office staff are lovely. I dont thank them as often as I should though, so THANK YOU!!! They have events for the families here and I can tell people are happy. I spend a lot of time observing people here and I dont see unhappy residents. Wish there were more children, but I cant complain, because it is fairly quiet, which Ill take any day of the week. Thanks again!!!

We lived in 2 bedroom 2 bath upstairs . We loved the veiw of mt charleston. The staff at the complex were always nice . . The maintenance crew were great . Very friendly too.

Quotes on same apartment change everyday, and sometime SAME day!!! Depending who you talk to, the rent could be $1475 or $1260. Visited three different apartments, carpet was horrible, outdated appliances, windows and blinds dirty and so dusty! Garages not painted!Jacklyn and Karin were very pleasant, others, terrible personality, or should I say, no personality, rude, unprofessional....and the ones giving you the highest quotes! Dont be fooled by their fake smiles...

To start ignore 1 & 2 ratings. Currently a 4.5 year tenant. Pluses: Seven Hills location, management/leasing/maintenance staff, community grounds always clean, units are well built/quiet with adequate closet space, attached garage, elementary & high schools within walking distance, Seven Hills Master Planned Community includes many walking trails, child play grounds, basketball & tennis courts. Close proximity to shopping, restaurants, hospital, doctors/dentist/veterinarians & 15 minutes from McCarren Airport & LV Strip with reasonable access to freeways. Negatives: Ingress & egress onto & from Seven Hills Drive at certain times of the day can be difficult

It was Great until, Theft in my apartment took place. Police Stated, NO forced entry and my door was locked. No one has copies to my key but the workers at Firenze. NOTHING WAS DONE, and was told they will not do anything for the safety of me and my 9 year old. I cant believe they allow residents to be violated and then cover it up. I dont choose for ANY RESIDENT to EVER GO THOUGH WHAT I AM EXPERIENCING HERE AT FIRENZE.BE SAFE

Were about to move out of Chateau Calais, into a house. I would have stayed many years longer, if I could. I want to thank Desiree and the rest of the staff for making Chateau Calais our first year home in Henderson.
