The apartment size and the ladies in the office are about the only good thing about this place. We just moved from there a couple months ago. Hope that you get a clean building cause our building and a friends building was disgusting! The “ housekeeping “ lady there doesn’t do anything. Our building always stunk horribly. There were roaches of course because neighbors are nasty and they only “ spray “ the apartments maybe 3-4 times in a year. There were mice as well. For the apartment price you would expect better. There were a good bit of times that even the police would be up in our building for only who knows what reasons. I would not recommend this place.
Not very welcoming office staff but, ill give it C+ for okay and decent-like neighbors.I had a few incidents where I heard loud noises and commotion as well fights where the police and ambulance had to be called.(different occasions for different neighbors.)there was domestic violence and mice/insect problems.very tiny apartment....
I am happy to be a resident here. My neighbor are nice and friendly. It is a very peaceful, and quiet community. There is plenty of room, and I have a one bedroom. Plenty of closet space. Beautiful surrounding, I feel safe. Office staff are helpful, respectful, caring and some of the nicest people I had to deal with in my rental experience over the years. Maintenance staff are kind, respectful as well as they gets the job done if you need to contact them. Their response and handling of issues is very quick. Thank you to everyone I have come in contact with since I have been here!
Used to live here, if I didnt get a shot to own my own home Id still be here! Overall the staff are super friendly and do their jobs well. The neighbours for the majority arr quiet and nice and keep to themselves.
The people here are wonderful! The maintenance guys, Chad and Robert are fantastic! You never have to wait if something needs to be fixed. We have been here 2 years and have no complaints at all. Its very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is that the kitchen is smaller than I am used to. We will miss you guys, but we are headed back to Arkansas to be with our grandkids!
Love it out here! Lots of closet space!central air! Heat is on point! Movie nite for the kids! Tables and grills for cookout! Swimming pool! Peaceful no drama! Crime watch! Nice people!
Nice place, with a most lovely staff. We did like the general layout of the apartment, but we felt like it was a bit expensive for where its located and what you get. Maybe next year.
Mice are everywhere. Even in the stove top and within the wiring. I was told I would have to continue payment on the lease because I could cook with a microwave.I have all documentation to prove that this is a truthful review, I fully expected to enjoy my stay.I would not recommend based on my experiences. There is a large uncontrolled mice problem. They have lost my rent before and charged me late fees, rent was recovered after I provided proof of payment and fees were removed. A window fell from the window and landed on my face, maintenance fixed the window later.I stayed from June 2017 to June 2018. In short I have stayed in two different units within the complex, the first on the 3rd floor the second on the first floor of a separate building. Both units had a mice infestation prior to my arrival and I was tasked with handling the problem on my own and required to keep the apartment. Six months later I moved to a separate building in the complex and had a similar issue. Mice compromised the integrity of the kitchen stove making it unsafe to cook or eat inside the kitchen. I was told the mice were my responsibility. In detail mice were coming from behind the wall of the kitchen stove, through the stove itself and onto the counter. There were mice droppings left daily despite routine cleaning from the first day I moved in. Whisperwood did nothing to stop the mice for over a month. They said they left a bait station (poisoned food) under the sinks (and away from the source), no bait was ever found. After complaining heavily for a month they finally sealed the hole left from the rodents with a caulk like foam. There was so much activity that they chewed through it completely within two days. After being ignored by the company I decided to tell them I would be moving out 5 days later on the 31st. My letter was forwarded and upper management was very cold to the situation and told me that the mice were my issue because rodent control is the responsibility of the tenant. I described how I kept the place very clean and how the stove was unusable because mice were leaving droppings on the stove and argued that the place was unliveable. Management disagreed and said because I own a microwave I could still cook for myself. I was told to pay to live in the unit another month to leave early or finish the lease. I have shown all of my documentation to upper management including photos and maintenance request in hopes they could consider another plan but it was largely ignored.Rather than hiring a lawyer to get out of my situation I asked if I could move to another unit under the corporation’s umbrella. Breaking my budget I moved from a 1 bedroom apt to a 2 bedroom apt within the same complex, I was not offered any sort of discount for my misfortune. Triple Crown had no apartments that required equal or less payment for a one bedroom. There was one 2 bedroom unit available (I stayed in a 1 bedroom) across the river for a comparable price to the 2 bedroom I selected, but it was inappropriate due to cost of gas/transportation due to my work location. In good faith I moved to a near building in the Whisperwood complex. The second apartment with whisperwood also had mice, I trapped and killed several with glue traps. They did not climb through the stove so it was more manageable. I continued my standards of cleanliness. It is now September and I have just received an email saying I owe money to collections. I had to request the bill and the reason for it from Triple Crown Collections through email myself. The company sent only one letter to the vacant apartment before putting me into collections after. I verified with the company through email that no other notifications were sent. I was charged for a carpet cleaning and for one column of the blind for the window.I have documentation for all of this and will provide it to any curious individuals. I do not recommend whisperwood apartments due to the mice. If rodents were not a feature of the complex there is a chance I could have been a satisfied tenant.
