They broke my air box. The guy admits to tells me the manager will contact jeep to fix it. We call the manager she tells me it’s wear and tear. Lol after I seen the guy brake it with the impact drill. I call back and manager gets defensive. I asked for the part name or number they broke and they make one up. The service here is trash. They made me pay before they told me what they broke. Me and my wife will be taking this to small claims court. If we don’t hear back

A quality place with great customer service. I do most of my own maintenance on my vehicles, but I use this location for state inspections. It is fast and convenient. Others in the waiting room getting their vehicles worked on seem very pleased with the service as well. Its an honest shop that will not try to push unnecessary repairs on you. They may suggest something, but politely back off when it is refused.

I will be returning! I originally wrote a one star review because of an issue with an oil filter. They immediately followed up with my complaint, called me back, found an issue in filter cross referencing between brands (not Kwik Kar’s fault) and are solving the issue. It was WAS NOT an issue inside the business. The manager is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The owner reached out to help. Any business that would go to those lengths to correct a problem or take care of a customer will always get my return business. Issues or mistakes can happen anywhere, but leadership, honesty, and just plain good customer service can be hard to come by.

Words cannot describe how vile the people here are. Avoid when possible. Go to somewhere like Angels if you want good service at a realistic price and no bs.

Just was at shop when an issue with an air box came up; the management handled the situation very poorly with mr Mateo solazar. They told him it was wear and tear when their technician clearly broke the air box in front of us. I do not recommend this place to anybody. The management made it seem like it was the customers fault that their technician broke a part on a vehicle that was there for service. Can’t believe that this happened right in front of me and they made the guy prepay too. Horrible. And to believe I almost had my car serviced here. Hell no. Decided to take my car somewhere else.

Be aware of the windshield scam. Do not pay for repairs. Take your vehicle to an expert. My car did not have damages, but the sales person insisted in the needs of repairs. I decided to leave the shop since they have a dishonest person trying to mislead customers.

I have been coming to Kwik Kar for years and I would never go anywhere else. By far best service on all you minor and some major car maintenance.

Our 25yr old son was paralyzed in 2016, so we havent been on vacation in 5yrs. Last Friday we planned to spend fathers day weekend in Marble Falls; however our accessible van started having battery issues. After taking it to OReillys and finding out the alternator was bad, I ordered one and took the van down the street to Kwik Kar because my regular mechanic was at a personal appt and couldnt be reached. It was 10am when arrived and I explained my situation with more info than I wouldve liked but needed to get it fixed before 4pm. I was told that it would be no problem and that they would start breaking it down so when I brought the part at 12pm they would have it ready to go by 3-3:30 at the latest. PERFECT! I asked them for an oil change as well. When I brought the part at noon, the van was still parked in the same spot. When I asked the female manger the status she apologized for what I was told earlier and stated that they couldnt start on it until about approx 2pm and have it done around 5-6. Of course I was upset, but that was better than nothing. So I agreed, but also called my regular mechanic back and was able to reach him. After explaining he told me I could bring it right away and he would get started on it. After talking with my wife, we decided to just leave it with Kwik Kar and adjust our plans. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! After four hours I recieved a call from the mechanic stating hes unable to change out the part because of the location, something that couldve been determined 4 hours prior. I immediately went to pick it up and the oil change wasnt even done. I took the van and the part to Angels Auto downtown Killeen and he fixed it in an hour and 1/2. Just dropped it from the bottom, replaced the part and reprogrammed the unit. THATS IT! We built our home in Skiptcha almost 16yrs ago and have been using Kwik Kar for oil changes, inspections, and minor issues ever since they were built; however, this was the most unprofessional disorganized and inconsiderate service I ever recieved in this area. Not only will we NEVER take any of our vehicles here again, I am telling my family, friends, fellow retirees and co-workers in the unit to NEVER EVER waist their money here for no type of service.

Ok mechanics, spoke to one of them and my god the pay there is horrible. $8/hour for oil changes. I have a cousin who works at a dealership. Same job but for $16/hour.

They were very nice, but very slow. Took 2 hours to get state inspection completed. 2 cars in the bay and 2 ahead of me. Not kwik

Its ok. Its the same script everytime I go and they do try to upsell alot. Dont go here for inspection if you even have a speck on your headlights though they really like to use that as a failure.

My wife always comes here, so I decided to give them a shot.Went in for oil change and wanting lights replaced that were out because I recently noticed two lights on my truck out. One in front and one in rear...I get the spill about engine filter, fine... i get the spill about my windshield wipers, fine... then I get then spill about my top offs on my fluids, fine...However no change of my headlights.

Having already changed the windshield wipers, the female inspector tells me that the car needs new wipers. All just to make extra money, even with the recipe in hand and telling her that we see nothing wrong she decides to fail inspection and still charge us, after we had told her we would go somewhere else. Horrible service, dont recomend, their thieves.

I prefer to do my own oil changes but I was about to take a long road trip and needed it done and recieved a coupon in the mail from them. Oil change was fine but the next time i attempted to do it myself the oil filter was tightened tighter than I have ever seen. Ended up having to hammer a screw driver through it a couple times to twist it off and got oil all over my driveway from fighting with it.

Kwik, polite, and affordable. Headlight assembly looked like they needed replacing, instead they offered a restoration. The price for restoration for both headlights cost as much as ONE of the assemblies.

The staff was professional and friendly, delivering service with a smile. The reason for a 4 is that they were not practicing COVID-19 safety protocols.

Will never be returning. Basically charged me to take my car apart and then realized they didnt have a part and put it back together and charged me.

My inspection was fast and completed in about 15 minutes.

Had my inspections done for my two cars at the same time. When I got to the DMV I found out that the mileage for one vehicle was wrong (it reflected the other vehicle with higher mileage) and I ended up having two copies of an inspection for one vehicle.I ended up having to go back to Kwik Kar the following day and explain several times what they did wrong for the issue to be rectified. This basically ended up in me making another trip to the DMV and wasted time. Make sure you check the paperwork before you leave if doing multiple vehicles at the same time.

This is the best place in Killeen & Harker Heights area. They are quick and also very good about giving you options for what is wrong with your car. They arent chicken little where the sky is falling and you just want an oil change; they give you a no BS assessment and provide succinct feedback.

Sorry, not impressed. $70 for a 4 qrt oil change? Car with less than 50K miles they recommend a differential fluid flush? then they can pass me for state Inspection if I pay $40 for headlite polishing? but otherwise no.....extortion come to mind? Will NEVER go there again.

They did an EXCELLENT job. Take 5 refused to change the oil on my 2003 Honda Element staying there was a bolt raised up caused by the oil pushing on it. Me not knowing anything about cars, believed them. I had a friend take a look, and he said that the bolt was supposed to be that way. I’m going to Kwik Kar from now on for all of my automotive needs!

Customer service was great this time, but wasn’t last time. Last time I went here they were out of the oil I needed for my vehicle. Guy was rude advising me they were out of “house blend” oil. Instead of giving me a break on the more expensive oil ($120 oil change), I asked what else he had and he kept repeating house blend $70.00 plus tax, or $120 plus tax. Unfortunately, that’s not just what my review is on. The prices are indeed higher than the dealerships. They also charge $6.99 to top off fluids (wiper fluid, radiator fluid, etc.) when most places do that for free. Not only are their prices higher, but they’re higher for their house blend oil and not even name brand oil. I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

As another mentioned, this business is not practicing COVID safety measures. Neither staff nor customers had masks at any time.

I am in a rental car and it was due for an oil change. Rental car company told me I could bring it to a local Kwik Kar of my choice and let the front desk know that I am in a rental. I took it to the location on Knights Way and they were super friendly, got me in and done very quickly. No fuss, no worries about the billing. I just signed the invoice and on my way. Only issue is we had to go back the next day because they forgot to put the skid plate back on the bottom of the car. Otherwise it was was a great job!

The gentalmen here work hard to make sure you feel appreciated and taken care of quickly. I didnt even make it inside before I was greeted and asked what I needed. He immediately put me in the system so my car would be in line and held the door for me into the waiting room. They make sure you understand exactly what theyre doing and listen to what you have to say and your concerns. Ive never had an issue and plan on coming back whenever I need an oil change and tires rotated.

I will never go back to this establishment. These morons didnt tighten my drain plug on my oil pan and I lost 3/4 of a quart by the time I returned home.Thank goodness I looked under my car the following morning!!!!On top of that the guy doing my oil change trying to upsell me on a tire rotation. When my tires are new and theyve only been on the car a week. Really people?!! Worry more about the work at hand instead of trying to put the screws to your customers!!!!!!

I took my car in for an oil change today . They checked it and come told me my oil was still full and looked good and that I still had 3000 miles until oil change was due . I thought I needed one because the date was past due.. I appreciate their honesty...They still topped off all my fluids and checkes my tire pressure for free..I highly recommend this place ...

My wife came home after trying to get her vehicle inspected and told me the mechanics said that her emergency brake was not working and it would cost $160.00 to fix it. Then told her to come back the next day. She went back the next day but they were too busy and told her to come back again the next day in order to fix her brake and to inspect her vehicle. Went out to her car to check emergency brake and works perfect. You decide!

BEWARE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU ON STATE INSPECTION! Told me the 3rd brake light was out on my truck. Never changed anything and charged me an extra $5. Wasnt worth arguing about at the time.Fast forward a few weeks, my wife brought her car in and they told her that her 3rd brake light was out, it wasnt, and they tried to charge her an additional $40 per head light to clean up her head light lenses because they were a little cloudy, (car is a 2005). Thankfully my wife had the good sense to tell them to take a walk. I brought the car in the very next morning to the NTB across the street and the car passed inspection with 0 issues.Be wary if they tell you that your car needs work. Make sure it does in fact need it, and ask for your old parts back to insure that work was actually done.

Minus one because there is always some one trying to sell you on fixing you windshield and they always try to get you to do more than what you came in for, besides that they are fast.

Took longer than expected for an oil change and brake cleaning. But they did check all filters and fluid levels as well as run a diagnostic test so that they could give estimates for any other work.

I came here for a state inspection. I was greeted when I parked and was informed I would wait about 30 minutes. I was fine with that. So I get escorted into the establishment and a man behind the counter pratically yells at me we arent doing inspections. I understand that, but i couldnt understand why I am being yelled at when I am standing right there, a grown woman, and didnt do anything. So I gave him a chance to corrext himself and asked what? And he repeated we arent doing any inspections, the machine is messing up it just went down this time he is far more rude than he was the first time. I said ok and left.I have never been spoken to in that manner. He was not friendly, welcoming, or customer service. There was another woman standing there and her eyes bucked when he spoke. I suppose because hed been helping her she didnt expect that. I literally just moved to this city and this place came highly recommended. I know they will never get my business. Not the way I was treated. And I will tell anyone who listens. That was ridiculous and out of line.

Ive found a place I can TRUST! I brought my 2015 Chevy 2500 High Country truck in for its very first post warranty oil and fuel filter change. They NAILED IT! Great customer service, the staff was friendly as well as knowledgeable, and the price was perfect I knew I was getting an AWSOME DEAL. I was on my way to Wal-M@#/ and am glad this KWIK KAR caught my eye! This is my new basic maintenance shop!

Husband took his vehicle here for a state inspection. The car passed. Not even a couple hours later, the car begins leaking fluid and smoking from under the hood. He took it back to them as our usual auto shop has sadly closed. They said the hoses were cracked and it would be 330.00 to repair. He agrees to the repair though thought it suspicious. He calls the next day to see if the car is ready for pick up and was told yes. He goes there and sees the car being worked on in the bay. They say it will just be a few minutes then come out saying there are more issues with the car. My husband says no, there were no issues before he brought the car in for the inspection and he will not pay for further services. Do not use Kwik Kar in Harker Heights. They are sketchy, dishonest and not professional. Avoid!

THEY BROKE MY DRIVER DOOR HANDLE, AND WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. I Took my vehicle for a simple state inspection. Not only did they not check for insurance, when i got my vehicle back the driver door handle was broken. The mechanic did not mentiom anything about it and expected me to get in the vehicle. Not only did he blame that on me but i was told the door handle is wear and tear, thats what she said. I was told they were going to help me. When i heard from them 24 hrs after the fact she said the part woukd cost me $30 the labor $80 thats not helping that blaming the whole thing on me. They said they will not take full responsibility, they didnt take any responsibility cause that is ridiculous. I will never go there again.

Called to get an inspection, guy told me to come on. Then the first guy I saw said I was too late, but when I called him on it because I had LITERALLY just called they took it as the last inspection of the day.

I like the fact when they rotate tires, instead of using the impact to tighten the lugs they also follow along using a torque wrench. Thats a plus in my book. The crew there seem friendly as well.

Forgot about me, sitting there in ACUs waiting to get my inspection. They told me 15 minutes which worked out because I have to work on Veterans Day. After waiting 20 minutes and then seeing 3 cars just pull up and get ushered into bays I had had enough and took my keys back.

Took my 2010 Ford Edge in for an oil change and an inspection but was told it failed inspection due to the tint of the windows being too dark. Despite this, we were charged for the inspection because the inspector already test drove the vehicle. The window tint is stock and has never been an issue before. When asked why would a car company put illegal tint on a vehicle, the managers response is yeah, they do that. Needless to say, never going back.
