I have to give them 5 stars. I did spend over $770 but it couldve been over $1000. And we did recieve a $60 Discover card as well as an extra $60 rebate. And the customer service was excellent as always. They were fast and friendly. Weve been coming here for years and always are taking care of.

Great service, made an appointment for a tire that was losing air. Got there, they fixed it and got me out in 30 min. Best part was no charge..even if you didnt get the tire from there. They only start charging once the tire cant be fixed and needs replacing. Happy Camper here! Recommend them for everyone.

I was very disappointed, Im guessing new Management bcos I never saw the one from the past. I asked to check my tire for my tire light came on. They said I had a nail but I can still drive on the tire for a couple of days. I then asked could I get someone to fix the tire they said yes? I said what time do you close they said in about 2 hours so I parked and went in no one greeted me entering nor did anyone ask me why I was there it was one person standing and about three people sitting. I stood there for about 15 minutes no one still ever greeted me when the female came in she stayed on her cell phone texting and she stood behind the counter, the guy was actually helping someone but no one still ever greeted me hello or ask me what I needed. I went to the bathroom hoping to come out and get back in line for someone to ask what I needed no one ever did all together I was there about 30 minutes I decided to leave...this has been the discount tire Ive been going to for over a year but I guarantee you I will never go back to this one on Avenue Q. What a slap in the face even if it was a busy day it doesnt take but 3 seconds to greet a person or ask them what they want especially if you have time to stand behind the cash register and text on your cell phone like the female was doing very bad customer service I hope the customer service changes for the better because they just lost a good paying customer ✌🏾

Came in a week ago had a new tire replaced due to road hazard. The technician had used the weights you hammer on my brand new wheel instead of the sticky weights which gouged the wheel and stripped the paint. I brought it up to the managers attention (mike) and he set me up with an appointment to get it replaced and he did the work himself. He was very cautious while installing and professional with the whole matter, I appreciate you mike and it is because of you I will continue to do business with discount tire! Absolutely, of all the tire stores in have visited, this is the worst ever.... Theirsingle goal is to sell you tires...picked up something in my tire on my Corvette....Of course they never have tires to fit it. Tire was leaking and they refused to put air in may tire so I could get home..... Really unprofessional

These comments are for the Discount Tire Store in Harker Heights, Texas. I am a Customer Service Officer and I work on Fort Hood and I know what great customer service looks like. I have always had great experiences at this store, but today was exceptional. From the time I walked into the store, I was treated like a King. I had three different workers greet me and tell me that someone would be right with me. Based on past experiences, I knew I would be treated right, but today was more than just right, it was World Class Customer Service. Words cannot describe how I felt, but I can guarantee you that I will not be going to any other tire store. Words that describe this experience are considerate, professionalism, memorable, and impressionable. The only thing I regret is not getting the names of those who helped me. I sure hope the management at this store recognizes the wonderful group of employees they employ.

I discovered a screw in one of my tires this morning. I drove to Discount Tire because they are always the best price and the best service. There was a wait, but I knew it had to be fixed. They got me in quicker than they told me it would be. Devon got my tire fixed in less than 10 minutes. He was courteous and quick!

I had one of the worst experiences here and that I have had any discount tire by far. Their store manager is completely in equipped to run this location much less change the tires on someones car. Somehow he could deny the warranty that I bought for the tires I got there, because of this last storm we had. Needless to say I will never, ever go back to discount tire. Even though I still hold a warranty on all four tires and rims on my vehicle. But apparently that $300 warranty was for nothing.

The men were very professional and extremely efficient. My tires needed air and one of my tires had a nail in it. They quickly came through and serviced my tire and I was able to drive away safely.

Discount Tire in Harker Heights just won me over as a loyal customer with their FANTASTIC customer service. To make a long story short, the Asst. Manager, Tim, who had sold me two complete wheels for spares and road hazard insurance on the 6 tires on my RV a couple of days prior, took me as a walk-in to replace the lug nuts on my Ford Escape (Ford wanted $225 to replace their defective part!). I bought them on-line and Discount Tire put them on FOR FREE (Hey, I am a good customer)! With 1,000 stores nation-wide along the routes I travel, and considering you can get free air service at each one, its a no-brainer doing bussiness with a team like the one Mike (Manager) and Tim lead. I am a Disabled Vet with a bad back, and I am a fan these guys in Harker Heights!

Oh my gosh! Number one place to get tires or fix your current tire issues. Nicolas Young, (assistant manager) has taken care of both of my cars and I will be going back for anything in the future. I highly recommend this location and those employees there!

I have used Discount Tire for years. Tires and rims are about the same price as everywhere else but you by here and you get free flat repair for like nail holes in the tread at any Discount Tire nation wide. PLUS for like $10-$15 more when you buy your tire from them you can get insurance (I know I said free flat repair) but.....what about when the side wall of the tire is sliced or has a hole in it. That cant be repaired, or maybe belts inside tire break or the hole in the tread is too large to repair if you have the insurance its covered NOT PRORATED BUT FREE NEW tire. Yards ago I purchased 4 tires I hit something on the road way and cut the side of my tire knew would have to be replaced plus they were like 4-5 yards old and by tread depth was getting close to being needed to be replaced, so I put the spare on and started trying to save up money to buy new tires. (Chevy Silverado 2500 HD expensive tires) When one day was forced off the road by another car I hit a curb head on. The front end started getting a bad shake. Thinking something was broken in the front end I took it to mechanic but couldnt find anything wrong.(suggested was the tires and tried to sell me some) instead I took my truck down to Discount Tire. As it turned out both front tires had busted belts. Now i needed 3 me tires uhhhh. But the nice guy at the store told me that i had purchased the insurance and that the busted belts were covered under the insurance and wouldnt be no charge. Then I showed him the tire that had been trying to save up the money for for the last month and a half and guess what it was also covered so now had 3 brand new tires at no charge only had to replace 1. So by spending the extra $60 or so when I bought the tires saved me over $600 at the current tire prices. So I purchased the other tire and bought insurance on all 4 of the new tires. Now until the tread is worn out on the new tires Im covered for anything from small little nail to side sliced by something on the road. Couldnt be happier. (I do not work for Discount Tire or have any affiliation with them. Before you buy from them ask them questions to make sure the info above is still true and policy has not changed. I will not be held responsible for any wrong prices, information that might have got wrong, or anything else. Everything above is just my GREAT experience with the company.) Hopefully you will have one just as good. Please excuse any misspelling our grammar mistakes.

Went to change our my 2018 tires, I upgraded from 18 to 20 inch tires. When the technician came out he was looking intensely on how he could charge me more money. I told him I already called the Dodge dealership and confirmed that the 2020, 20 inch tire would fit on my 2018 truck. The initial charge was 40 dollars to change them out. In dealing with Nicolas Young sale technician Im assuming the cost for a change out 200 dollars. While he is taking my money hes laughing in my face at me. Very unprofessional. Truly a up and coming company man. If Nicolas comes out and you have your own tires look to spend more money!

I had a screw in my tire today and went to the Harker Heights location. Devin was so very helpful, he assisted me as soon as i walked in and personally plugged my tire. I’m 8 months pregnant and he had me in and out! I really appreciate him! Give him a raise, thanks! Devin you’re awesome!

Very unprofessional, they never texted us that the car was ready for pickup after buying tires from them, we literally waited 3 hours at home, not even an apology, didnt fix another vehicle we brought in a week ago properly, it was just a leaking stem valve for a big truck, since then censor light stays on and there is a slight vibration when driving. 😤, Going to Firestone where it seems they have real professionals working not boys.

They have an awesome team of workers. Took care of my tire replacement with no issue. They have gained a permanent customer due to their customer service.

Fantastic service! The tens here was excellent. They took great care of my needs, my car, they made sure everything was in proper working order, that my sensors were reset and all my parts were put back including my spare tire and all that mess from my blow out on the freeway. Excellent customer service. The prices may seem a little high, but whenever I have tire trouble for any of my vehicles they are usually fixed (plugged) for free. I was surprised and pleased that I wasnt charged an arm and a leg to get a tire plugged during the CV outbreak.

We made an appointment at the Harker Heights DT and drove right into the maintenance bay as soon as I arrived. Before I could finish my cup of coffee, our vehicle was ready! Earlier, when we called to make an appointment, we needed a different type of tire which wasnt readily available, but they had them on hand by the time of our appointment. Well done team!

My car had low tire air pressure warning lights going on, my new car for the fourth time! I decided to take it to Discount Tire this time, let the professional check it out. During the air pressure check, the tech found out one of my tire was all the way down to 22 psi! Tech said “You may have nail in your tire Ma’am.” Sure enough they found huge screw nail in my tire! Thank goodness I went to Discount Tire! I may have been stranded on a road with my two children! Or worse may have been in an accident!I was in there may be for 30 minutes. They fixed my tire and rotated tires. Even though they were busy, they explained everything to me and got my car in and out of the shop real quick!Thank you so much!

Always excellent service but I have asked that technician to not get grease on interior of auto. And this continually happened. I also noticed that rims were getting damaged when taking my SUV in for regular tire rotation and balance. I asked for technician to be careful but not such luck. I started going to different location, maybe they will do a better job of servicing the customer.

I went in on Thursday wanting to get four new tires knowing exactly which tires I wanted. After looking the tires up the guy took my information, and we agreed on 8 am Saturday to get them changed. I arrived at 8 am on Saturday only to be told by another gentleman that the tires had not arrived. Mind you, I live three towns over and should have received a phone call telling me they weren’t ready! The new guy then says he sees they should have them in that day and will call me later to reschedule. Four days from my initial day going, and I have still not received a phone call!! This was my first time going to Discount Tire which has left a horrible first impression with their lack of communication. I will now be going elsewhere to purchase the four tires I still need.

Went in to get a quote for a new set of tires. I already knew what I wanted and had done some shopping around. Josh got me a better deal and a decent trade in rate on my take off tires. The ones I bought had to be ordered but came in the next morning. I dropped by for installation and was quoted an hour and a half for completion, well it only took just less than an hour. Kyle had the crew working like a well oiled machine. Everyone was happy and obviously taking pride in their work. Well done gents.

I had a tire blow on me on the highway and took it to the store in Harker Heights. Since I had the replacement certificate on that tire they replaced it with a comparable tire for free. The only money I paid was for a new certificate on the new tire(about 40 bucks). The certificates are money well spent, always get them if you can. Tire is repaired or replaced for three years or 3/32 tread depth!

Discovered a screw in one of my tires. Pulled up and was greeted by Max. Max was very friendly and displayed empathy. He looked at the screw and ensured the tire wasnt losing pressure. He recommended to allow him to pull the screw out. After removing the screw the tire was good to go and I was in and out within 5 minutes. Thank you Max and Discount Tire.

Had an acquaintance get two jobs,started making money and went to get a set of tires and rims not a bad price 1000 total, he lost both his jobs, lost his tires, then the car its self got towed! So moral of this story stop trying to outlive your means and show off,You need it you need to but the payment system every week you have a payment or two weeks or 1 a month...I feel bad but Im not going to budget rims and tires knowing I have other priorities I keep my wheels a-rollin

I used to think you get the best deal at Walmart. The Walmart auto department is closed due to covid-19, so I came to discount tire. I remember my friend recommend discount tire before, but I did not care becauss I thought you can not go wrong with Walmart. After my experience here today, I will keep coming back for tires. Not only that the tires are not more expensive than Walmart, the whole process took less than 20 minutes when it usually takes more than an hour at Walmart.

Discount tire Harker Heights has outstanding customer service and was willing to meet me half way. I brought some Fortera tires( 265/50R25) in December 2018, but the tires went bald after 8,000 miles. I am not going to lie I walked into Discount this morning and thought it was about to be world war 3, but to my surprise Mr. Nico was willing to do what ever it took to make me happy. I didnt even have to get up set and we had a great conversation.
