The service was decent. They do a tire rotation with the oil change and I noticed my to tire lock key was missing. For whatever reason they couldnt locate it so they replaced the locks. That was great, I just wish it hadnt been misplaced in the first place.
Horrible first time experience today! Bought 4 new tires and upon picking my vehicle up, I see the sticky balancing weight coming off my wheel. I told the office person and he confirmed that the weight is falling off the wheel and that theyll take care of it. So when I left heading halfway home on the highway, I heard popping clunking sounds similar to firecrackers. I immediately thought the weights fell off my wheels and pulled over to see that they did. I called and brought my vehicle back. I was then told you cant hear weights fall off your wheels. Basically calling me a liar. Then a tech overheard me and said my rear end might be going bad. Which I knew wasnt. Another tech put my vehicle on the lift to find out that the front weights fell off both front wheels. Just like I suspected. They have failed to clean and prep the wheels for the sticky balance weights. Which they also said they have done twice. But showed to be a lie. From 11:41am to 5:30pm for simple tire replacements. Will not take my busness here anymore! Showed to be unknowledable and untrustworthy!
The people here have been great both times Ive been here. I came again today for the Road hazard warranty when I popped a tire today. The staff was prompt and courteous. Chris was awesome with getting me in and out as quickly as he could with an already full shop. I purchased 4 Continental tires for a great price and the warranty was well worth it.
Little pricey but theydo good work. I have used them before. I hope everthing is up to pare. I kniw if something is wrong i can take it back for aother look
Great service, affordable (with many options), and the facility is comfortable to wait in. I was able to schedule an appointment online, then arrive and check out within an hour. The staff at the front today were welcoming as well. I appreciate the team here; it is always a positive experience.
I scheduled an appointment for 1430 and the lady told me 1.5 hours. Left truck and walked to park with my son. We headed back from the park at 1610 and I saw my truck parked in the same spot. I assumed they had already done the work, but it turned out they hadnt. I asked for my keys and kindly left. Why would you set me up for an appointment time and not abide by it. Dont think I will be coming back. Even though Ive never had this issue before, someone couldve called me and given me a heads up. Poor management on NTB in this case.
My truck (2014 ram 2500) was scheduled for an alignment here after having a lift kit installed at a local shop. While the alignment was fast (and the truck drove well afterward) the mechanic tried to convince me that the front axle of my truck flexed from the lift and than a caster/camber kit was required in order to remedy the alignment that he couldnt quite fix. To quote Ron Swanson: I know more than you.Hence the one star review.Trash.
I had 2 holes in my tire that Discount tire wouldnt even look at the gentlemen at NTB took my tire and fixed it very professional and would recommend any time ill be taking my wifes vehicle there from now on.
Ive been here twice now and the most recent really drove home the message they are price gouging you. To check an engine light costs $125. I tried having them check it first when getting my car inspection done, which they also put the wrong vehicle on the forms making an extra trip for me. They claimed it takes 1 hour to check an engine light and diagnose the problem. I drove my car off after setting an appointment which is the only time they would check the engine light and pulled in to Autozone where they handed me the instrument and uploaded car info to their computer within 2 minutes and printed out the Fix Finder Report. Probably is cheaper to just buy the instrument than going to NTB in the first place. Id go to Autozone to check your engine light cuz its free. Had NTB said they would check it for free and told me the problem and offered to fix it then I would have definitely said yes. Poor way to conduct business.
Although they were not able to help me they had went above and beyond pointing me in the right direction, Chris provided the best customer service ever!
This store doesnt even deserve this 1 star. We went in wanting a certain tire and after telling us okay we can do that for you, they then call and tell us that the tires doesnt fit. And charged us over $200 dollars just to put our original tires back on. Telling us the tires wouldnt fit from the beginning would have been nice and we could have went in another direction. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN.
Avoid this place. Its the cheap walmart of the automotive world but they charge expensive prices as if theyre a dealership.Buy your tires from discount tire, (Where you can actually use any warranty you purchased) and have your vehicle serviced at a reputable SERVICE shop that actually specializes in auto repairs and where it would most likely be cheaper than ntb.
Great group of people from the Service Writers to the Techs. They have done more than just tires and oil changes for my vehicles over the years. Brakes, AC service, replaced motor that operates the door locks and even diagnosed electrical issues. You are going to pay as much or more taking it somewhere else. Rick has always done right by me with the advice and finding the best parts at the best price available. This will continue to be more go to place for years to come.
Great service and wonderful people! I could not have had a better experience than I did today at NTB. The manager Shelly is beyond fabulous and her team worked quickly and effectively to get my service done. I highly recommend NTB for your next oil change!
My advice is read all of the very fine print. They put some good deals out but once youre in the door it starts to change. I decided on a much better tire for the same price elsewhere.

The manager Shelly was very rude. I was next to pay and finally leave after waiting an hour to get my oil changed and she made me wait while she helped two other customers who had just gotten there. She didnt rotate my tires because I didnt have some lock.. Ive never been ask that before oh and I got my tires from NTB! How did yall change my tires without this supposed lock! Wont be coming back to this liar who just didnt want to rotate my tires soooo rude.
Great job by the team at NTB in Harker Heights. No one likes to deal with a flat late on a Saturday night or Sunday morning. I was able to Google my tire size, showed they had the correct tire and they opened at 9am on Sunday. By 9:20 in the morning I had my new tire and peace of mind that I was not going to spend my Sunday trying to get a new tire for a Flat 500. FYI Fiats do not have spares.

Need a tire plugged and I stopped by after work. I was able to get the tire plugged and was treated to great customer service. It may have taken a while to complete because they only had two techs, but it’s flu season and things happen. I will gladly wait for professional service.
Robert the manager was super friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. Explained several different options to me. Took his time, explained I only need 2 tires instead of 4. Offered financing and said to watch for sales on additional items I wanted. I am very impressed and look forward to going back. The store was clean and well organized.
Had the best service and price in town, after the tech at pepboys down the street was crying at how over loaded he was I took my keys and left, not the attitude I was to torque my wheels. Came to NTB from the time i walked into the store i was welcomed, quoted, agreed on the service, all completed in a hour!
Rick and Justo deserve a raise at the HH location! I went to both Firestone locations in Killeen & Harker Heights. They both denied my service at 1pm noon on a Sunday . Take in mind I purchased my tires at Firestone and they are under warranty. I unfortunately had a screw in my tire and and my Psi was at 12. So it needed to be changed ASAP. Both Firestone locations turned my away. Because they had appts for the rest of the day. NTB came to my rescue and saved the day. I was able to get right in even when they had existing customers . They simply pulled the screw, patched my tire and i was good to go! There customer service was excellent and i was in and out in no time. I have peace knowing i can get to work out of town with no issues first thing in the morning..Shame on you Firestone and NTB you won my future service and recommendations!! 🙂🙂
Since i moved toward bell county I was devastated that alot of places this way are higher than Austin area. But thankfully I found this place. Very valuable customer service and gave me blow by blow about my services and told me about my tires. No one had done that before so it was great. Kudos to you guys

The gentlemen have always priced match and searched rebates available to provide me the lowest cost possible — in combination with a military discount! I can’t beat that. I have purchased various warranties and I have used them as well and they did not give me any hassles. All in all, I am very pleased with this location. They continue to exceed my expectations!

I have paid out 2,000 on my car and its still having the same issue. Now I keep getting the runaround from Robert. The alternator is bad which they replaced last year and its under warranty however they wont replace it. They have now had my car since last Friday, it was supposed to be fixed by today but again Robert isnt in and I was just told they are testing my battery to see if its bad. Yes t bgg e battery is being run down because of the alternator. I have 2 recorded conversations that show they did not do what I paid them to do nor does the mechanic know what he is doing. I now have to get an attorney

Im really bummed. Like the positive reviews here, I loved their customer service, they always treated me well. I loved that they were next door to Starbucks so I could grab coffee while I waited. They provide coffee, but Id rather have Starbucks. Id been there 3-4 times with great experiences. Then I went in and they told me that I had a major Control Arm Problem and the whole thing needed to be replaced. $1100. The problem I had was gone with the new tire, but I still wanted to make sure there wasnt a problem. The $1100 seems weird to me as a newer 2011 car. It just didnt sit right. Took it to my regular mechanic. I needed a $100 alignment, none of the problems mentioned existed at all. I really liked this place and now I cant trust them and wont go back. Bummer.

This place offers a military discount of 10% but its only for the labor specifically, not the overall work. Other shops offer 10% off for parts, or none at all. I would prefer not to leave a star rating but because I have to I am just giving them the average three stars.
I normally go to Jiffy Lube to get my oil change, but since I needed some new tires I decided to try NTB. Well, I got the oil changed at NTB----because I drive a lot of miles daily, in between the time for my next oil change, I decided to drop by NTB to have them to check my oil level. The visit went like this:--I waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes before the service technician even acknowledged my presents--mind you, he was standing right in front of me on the phone. He could have said something along the lines-- I will be with you momentarily.--when he did acknowledge me--I asked if I could have someone check my oil. He told me it would be three hours before someone could check my oil. I was flabbergasted, so I asked him to repeat it. He said again---it would be three hours before someone could check my oil. So, I made an appointment for the following day---to have someone to check my oil--NOT change it, but just to check the oil level---pull out the dip stick and look at it.--when I went back out to the parking lot to get into my car---I noticed the that there were three NTB workers standing in one of the bay doors smoking cigarettes and talking. I sat in my car for about 10-12 minutes and watched them standing around laughing and talking---when one of them could have taken that time to check my oil.--I returned the next day at my scheduled appointment time and it still took them 45 minutes to check my oil---to tell me that it was fine.I will never use them again and I have already begun to tell my friends about my poor customer service experience.
Big help!! Were told our flat could it be fixed anywhere. Offered to put air in a car tire if we wanted to go someplace else. Waited for us to get approval from the rental company. Great prices, great service.

Having NTB work on the car has been a comedy of errors. The parts supplier has allegedly omitted or sent the wrong components twice now. Is verifying a part number really that hard?Dropped the car off for a laundry list of repair work Monday morning. We were promised that the car should be ready by end-of-business day. It is now Wednesday afternoon and the car *still* isnt done. I was told it should be ready by 6:00 today, although Im not holding my breath.Shuffling schedules for two extra days to figure out who is going where in the remaining cars is inconvenient. The next time any of our cars need servicing we will definitely be going to the Firestone across the highway. They have never once failed to finish service at the promised time.EDIT in response to NTBs comment: Judging by the number of negative reviews over a long period of time for the exact same issues conditions at this store have obviously not improved. Why bother responding to feedback if nothing meaningful will come of it?
Scheduled a Monday 8am appointment on a Friday to exchange a broken stud and an alignment. Arrived at 8am but my car was not taken in until 9am. Around 9:15am, I was told that the technician was working in removing the stud and immediately after that the car was moving to get align. After 15 min my car was lowered (I understood the stud was removed and changed). At 10:30am, an hour later, the car was moved for the alignment and was out and parked in front of the store by 10:45am. The car was given to me at 11:24am. After bringing the concern to the manager her response was incredible I am just trying to make everyone happy. After pulling out and driving for 3min the car was still pulling to the right and when I called back NTB the technician didnt do the alignment even though I explained Friday and today that the car was pulling to the right. I had to come back again for the alignment and waited another 45min. Total time I waited for NTB to remove a broken stud and replace it and then do a correct alignment 4 hours and 30 minutes when I was told on the Friday that it would take 1-1:30 hours. I was also told that labor to remove the stud was $60 but was charged $75. They did match the price of the alignment from $90 to $60 value at meineke.
BE AWARE!!!!!!! I have been noticing a recent trend in NTB... I was a regular customer of NTB HARKER HEIGHTS until the recent two visits... First, I left my car for a 60K miles tune up.. I got a call about the other usual things and in that conversation he mentioned that the front tire had a nail in a location that cannot be fixed and needs to be changed. Funny thing is I never had a problem with the tires. I told him not to fix it and wait to see if there is a tire pressure drop. I am going on 4 months with no problems so far.. NTB is supposed to fix tires with nails for free except when it cannot be fixed then you need to buy a new tire... well, from them because your car is already there. I have changed my tire in my two cars for the same reason. I saw a pattern and became very alarmed. Next, my wife took her car for an oil change and they did some check ups along with the oil change and recommended battery change soon.. well funny thing is they replaced the battery in our car 4 yrs ago. If the battery did not last that long, they are selling a bad product or they are just selling their product while it does not need to be replaced. WATCH OUT!!! I am submitting a letter to their HQ and BBB....
If you are looking to have any adjustments with your aftermarket suspension, that is an amazing place to go.One of their mechanics has experience with aftermarket suspension and was able to do mine fairly quickly! They have my future business for sure! I was there by 8:30 and out by 1.(full racing suspension adjustment) 5 stars!
The service technician Juan is very knowledgeable and helpful! Came in for a wheel alignment and he gave me several tips on taking care of my car. Excellent service!

What is the point in making an appointment here. I scheduled for 430 pm because he so insisted on the phone that it would be a quick in and out. After waiting over an hour for a simple balance on one wheel? Cmon.They hadnt even pulled my car into the bay. So I asked for my keys back and refused the service. This is for the store manger. Please do your jobs and manage. Its in a nice area this place deserves better. Your whole store looks lost. My sons brakes went out on his vehicle. They tried to take advantage of him because he is young and does not have much knowledge of vehicle repairs. They wanted to charge 850 for drums and brakes just on the rear of the vehicle . We had it fixed elsewhere and the total cost of parts and labor was only 300. NTB you should be ashamed of yourselves trying to charge him 850. We will never be back and will spread the word about this horrible experience .
This place use to be one of the best shops in the area. Not anymore, went there 3 weeks ago took 20 minutes before someone came out to even talk to me. I asked about a tire rotation and the clerk said they were busy and taking appointments for Monday (it was a Saturday). So I made an appointment for the following Saturday. When I arrived same problem no one there at the desk for 10 minutes, then he told me they were running behind. So I canceled that appointment and made one for today. Arrived and was told again that they are running about a hour behind. So I let him know this was my third attempt to get my tires rotated and every time they didnt honor my appointment. He suggested that I make an appointment during the week. Which I let him know that my work schedule only allows me to get it done on the weekends.... Terrible way to run a business. Why schedule someone for a appointment if you cant honor it!
Didnt have what I need but still booked my appointment. Disappointed since I had a road trip planned. Waste of time.

My husband said take the truck to them they will take care of you. I dropped my truck off at 7am. I asked them to call when its done. I said it 3 time please make sure someone calls when the truck is done. I got the engine oil, power steering, and brake fluids changes. I has to call at 4:30pm to check on the truck. They said it was done and when I asked why they didnt call me they couldnt give me a reason why. If you go the ntb dont expect to call you.

This is my second time going to this location this year. The last time I went, about March/April I purchased two new tires and asked if they could take a look at my brakes because they had been squealing. They had me in and out in about an hour. When I asked about my brakes they said, everything was “fine” and I had plenty of pad left. Well it had gotten worse so today 9/1/19 I decided let me go back to them, because they were so fast before. This time I waited about an 1 hr and 15 mins ( I sat in the lobby where you could see the cars) my car had been pulled to the bay after about 1 hr ( they were kinda busy) and I watched as both technicians walked around my car for about 15 mins . ( that’s all they did ) they then come to me and say, “everything was fine with my breaks, they have about 60% pads left in the front and 40% in the back, but you need two new tires because the other two are very close to needing replacement” confused i agreed to have my tires changed ... I wait about another hours and 30 mins for them to finish. When I asked them about the squealing they said it’s because of the humidity in the air causing rust.. at this point I know they either don’t know what they are talking about, or just lazy.. I pay and left, as I’m backing out it makes a grinding noise.. ( must be humid out) I say this can’t be right.. so I stop at Brake a check (2 mins down the road).. long story short I had 0 pad left and it was grinding into my rotors. I don’t know if they thought I didn’t have money, or if they just didn’t want to help. Brakes are listed as their service so I figured they would want to take my money.. it’s cool tho, Brake Check gained a customer and NTB just lost one. I really wish I could attach photos of my brakes so you could see how clean they were.. there was 0 pad left
I oringially went to them because I wanted to get some information about my brakes and some prices. Found out they charged more than most places and had horrible reviews. I went there to talk to them and I waited 30 minutes to talk to someone as there were 3 staff members talking about inappropriate conversations. I will never go there again and will tell friends, family and my co workers never to go there. Waste of time you will never get back.I went to Midas and their staff was so much better. Extremely happy with Midas. If you are reading this review go to Midas. So much better and I wrote a review for them as well so read that.
Im really not impressed with this particular location. My family has used NTB for as long as I can remember, and when there was a Temple location, we never had an issue and were always satisfied.I went to this location in late August 2017. I was first moderately unsatisfied with the amount of time it took to have only 2 tires replaced, I was told it would take around an hour. It took around 2 hours, maybe a little more. But again, this really wasnt that big of a deal, sometimes things take longer, no big deal.I then drive away from the location and notice a fair amount of vibration around 40 mph, and an intense shaking above 60 mph. Im thinking, great, they took a long time and didnt even remember to balance the tires.I go back to the shop and wait another hour to have the tires balanced, they said that maybe the old set was out of balance, and when they rotated them, the unbalanced old tires were now up front, and now produced a shake. At this point Im beginning to get annoyed, but really, I enjoy NTB enough to understand mistakes can be made. They fix the balancing issue, and send me on my way.A few miles down the road I notice the shaking was not fixed, and my TPMS light is now on.Im now fuming, and I bring my car to a different tire shop down the road. They tell me that whoever worked on my tires broke my Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS), and that the balancing on my tires were really screwed up.I payed 80 dollars to have the issue(s) fixed, and walked away a person who will not be visiting this location again. Im hopeful this location was just having an off day, but I dont believe they deserve my business.
I had a flat tire and had my vehicle towed to the facility after hours because the tires were under warranty. It was still gonna cost extra money to install and I explained how I was a veteran going through hard times and Larry went above and beyond to give me the best service and price. I would recommend this location and they are most definitely military friendly.
Definitely should have read the reviews before going 2.2 stars I see why. I came in to get a simple oil change and it ended up taking 2+ hours when I was told it would only be 30 minutes. I have the same complaints as everyone else here so I wont go on, but 100% will never be taking my business back there.
My boyfriend took his car there today for an oil change and does not have his car. Dropped off his car off at 5:30pm and the guy at the front desk said that he would call us when his car was done. Went to Walmart and did some shopping and we waited until 7:15pm (didnt realize it closed at 7pm) and decided that we would go wait at NTB for his car since they hadnt call yet. They were obviously closed and now we dont have his car or anything that was in it until tomorrow. They never called to tell us his car was done. It was a simple oil change and should have been done by 6-6:30pm. They should have called us when his car was done and then before they locked it in their garage, but they obviously dont care enough about their customers to provide any type of courtesy toward them. We tried to call corporate and their office is closed too, which I find odd for a corporation. Well definitely never return after we get his car back first thing in the morning. I wish I could give this place a rating of 0 because the people running it shouldnt be involved with customer service.
These guys are always helpful and will work with a budget if you ask. They will give you all the recommended services and make sure you know what needs to be done and what can wait.
Took over an hour to replace one tire. With roadside hazard I have to pay $60 to replace said tire. Save yourself the trouble. Go somewhere else. I paid over $600 to begin with, paid for the warranty on the tires. I dont understand why I have enough to cover a whole new tire
Always great customer service here. Very polite and explain everything you need to know. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but they are open long hours and on Sundays. I have referred a number of people here.
Overall wasnt impressed. Service personnel were friendly and informed me of the progress, but what was originally quoted as 2 hour service became 4 hours. I had to ask about progress and overall was underwhelmed by the flow if information. They did mount and balance 4 tires and replace breaks and rotors. I was please with the service. I will consider using them again.

Went in for a brake check. They told me fuel tank was leaking right where the seal meets the fuel pump. We set up a an appointment (that they never set up) to get it repaired. Once we left they called hours later to tell us they cant fix it. We go there to check it out. We agree so they put it back up. The problem was THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THEY GUESSED AND THAT UNEDUCATED GUESS COST US 300 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE FOLKS. SERIOUSLY, JUST LOOK AT THE REVIEWS, THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF LEFT AND RIGHT
Had $2800 done in repairs, all that was done was brakes put on.None of the front end work I needed was done even though I was charged for it. Never again Took to another shop and was shown that the work I paid for wasnt touched. They robbed me of time and money .$2800 for a cheap set of brakes. Word spreads quick in this town Ive been here my whole life. And will continue to spread word of their shady business and trash mechanics. People at desk didnt know ads from hole in ground. Never purchase road hazard its a lie as well. Liers and thieves . Most incompetent group ever.
I have never been treated so poorly in my life!Update I came in after the extra time 1hour from my original time and 30 after the second update was up and it still wasnt finished. The manager told me its my fault and said that I screwed them by making an appointment. I have never been treated so poorly. I left the store having to come back for things I paid for already and that he wouldnt refund me.I made an appointment online the day before, type in all of my info and get my email conformation. I go ahead and call just to get an estimate of how long it should take and the gut says under an hour. Fast forward to my appointment time I get there 10 min early and i was told that I was late, when on the board upfront and on my confirmation email it says the correct time. After showing the woman the email and teller her the board says the correct time we spend 10 min re filling out what I have already filled out online. She says she needs to read do the ticket, and then I get a quote of $40 more than what was quoted online she says thats its fees and at this point I just need my tires done. I ask her how long it will be and she says it will be ready in an hour and a half. I wait the hour and a half call to make sure its ready and guess what they havent even touched it it will be another hour. I dont understand why the online appointments even exist if they are make you re do the paperwork, charge you more, and not honor the time. This is the second problem that I have had hear the first was they put the wrong oil in my car but hey mistakes happen so I figured it was worth another shotime if I can make an appointment and not wait all day for the work to be done. I have never been so wrong run dont walk away from this shop.
Went in got all new tires $700, balanced the whole 9. The year warranty. Mind you, they couldnt quite get them balanced. Took to mechanic, told me 1st day. Had went to them 3 times. Using up this warranty.
I dont know why they accept reservations. Mine was for 10:00Am. At 10:55 they finally got started on my car (4 new tires) and they finished at 12:10Pm. I was there for 2 hours on what should have been a 45 minute job.
The worst service ever no one is knowledgeable about cars or trucks I got a quote and 3 weeks later the price kept changing each time I went in I believe that their price gouging worst customer service I will never take my car here again. I ended up taking my truck and car to Midas and their prices were reasonable and the service was great the mechanics were knowledgeable I would recommend any and everyone to go to Midas they are the best in town

I have been waiting almost 3 month for someone to replace my rims. I had new tires put on and apparently the tire changer did not know how to work the machine. Put my rims on upside down and gouged them. If you have an expensive vehicle I would not recommend you take it to NTB for new tires. When I contact the store the only thing I get is the runaround. Oh you need to talk to this guy and then you need to talk to that guy and were waiting on corporate. Its been 3 months.
I thought this place was good, so i brought to them somethin I thought would be easy to just have them do it since I didnt have a vice, witch was a universal joint in my truck dropped it off, and 32hours latter they still have my truck, i could have just done it myself for this matter

This place is horrible! This was my first time going this morning. I made an appointment a week before for 9 am to have an oil change. I arrived early and the manager said it would take about an hour. That wasnt a problem for me. TWO hours later my truck had not even moved from the parking lot! What is the point of having an appointment if you cant even get the car in??? I asked the manager if it was going to be taken back soon. His response was I dont know...I havent been back there. So unprofessional!!! I will never be back.
