These are the best guys to go to when you need something done to your car or truck. Some people underestimate the hard work that these guys put into when working on a car. I work on cars myself and I know how much hard work and labor it takes. And to have people take advantage of that especially during a pandemic is in my opinion unfair. I went in unexpectedly this morning after arriving to work (around the corner from the shop) and finding something had punctured my tire. Drove to Monro to hopefully get it patched and it wasn’t fixable. Everyone there was so helpful and gave me news straight up and didn’t try to sell me anything extra or over priced. They had to travel to get me a new tire due to my tire size being an oddball. One of the mechanics drove me back to work so I didn’t have to miss a day of work for my tire to be fixed. Upon coming back to the shop to get my car it was done on time, and the price couldn’t be beat. Easiest 5 star review I could give. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This team was amazing! I was traveling with my family and about half way through our trip we got a large piece of metal in our tire in the highway. Luckily we got off the exit we did and ended up here. They took us in right before they were supposed to close on a Friday night, fixed our tire and even unpacked our loaded trunk to replace the spare and packed it back up for us. They were absolutely amazing and very kind! I wish I could give them more stars!

I love these guys. Some people dont really think of all the hard work these guys do daily. They work so hard to make sure that everyones car is safe no matter what it is.. It be something that needs to be fixed or even your car being inspected. So some people take advantage of this but never take a step back to really see what entails to keep a car running. These guys do not scam anyone in any way. Working in this kind of industry is by far not easy, so people need to not give these guys a hard time when they hear something that they dont like, Jeff, Nick and Brendon don;t like having to give bad news to customers. They rather make sure that the customers come in and leave with a smile on their face and to have the best customer service possible. I will recommend these guys to everyone and anyone that I know... This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic or auto shop. They truly went above and beyond to help me get home on a road trip. I came in with worn struts and they pulled some strings to get the right parts for my mini even personal driving me a town over to get the strut mounts when they were missing from the kit they got. I’m eternally grateful from what could have been a bad situation, either my tires bursting from having too high of a pressure, or just my suspension completely failing.Would recommend to anyone who needs work on your car. They treat you like family.

Took care of my Jeep after it ate a curb. New strut, tires, brakes, inspection sticker, whee knuckle, speed sensor. Had an inspect done on an older car and several items were identified by the inspector. All of the items that were identified were characterized accurately. I performed the necessary repairs and returned to complete the inspection. I would not hesitate to bring a vehicle to this shop for inspection or repairs.

Went in to have a tire plugged after getting a flat. They plugged the tire, put it back in holder underneath my van & put air in all my tires. When all was finished they said there was no charge! If I could give them more stars, I would. I was traveling from ME to CT for a baby shower, with the guest of honor on a Friday evening when my tire pressure gage signaled something was wrong. Very wrong.Without hesitation they took my vehicle in just minutes before closing and worked their magic.They even went as far as putting my spare back, just the way it was supposed to be, which meant unpacking my entire trunk and tetras style repacking. Above and beyond service. And with a smile, too.

We were on our way to Hampton Beach when one of our rear tire suddenly blew out. While my husband put on the spare, I phoned Monroe Tire. They said to come right over. They greeted us warmly, fixed the tire, replaced it, packed away our spare, and saved our trip with a smile. We cannot recommend these guys enough— They were quick, competent and so gracious to us.

SHADY! These guys 100% tried to take advantage of me when getting an inspection done. They failed me and told me I needed brakes and tires. I brought it to my mechanic Ive gone to for years and they completely disagreed and said my brakes were only 20% worn and the tires have at least a year left in them. Brought it to a different inspection place and they agreed with my mechanic and passed it no problem. 0/10 would not recommend.

I would give zero stars if there was one. Maybe they do a good job if the purpose of your visit was a repair, but I bet you paid for more than what was needed. As a new resident to NH, they failed my car for brakes without ever taking the at least one front and one rear wheel off as required by state law! After having my own mechanic check my car, brakes were not needed. Clearly they are trying to gouge inspectees for jobs.

Just left after taking our vehicle in for repair to a dysfunctional wiper. Jason and the team diagnosed the problem quickly, which was a bushing. Jason could have easily have replaced the entire wiper transmission, but he told me it was not necessary at this point (and it would save us a couple hundred dollars!). The wiper is now working perfectly in tandem with the other. I appreciate Jasons honesty and the good business practices of this Monro shop. Keep up the good work, guys!!! Also, I should say that I noticed Jasons fair and kind treatment of all the shop staff and the other customers. I sincerely applaud that as well.

Several months ago I stopped in to have a tire repaired. The shop was professional and timely. Recently decided to get my oil changed there. The experience was great and quote was accurate. My husband needed tires and being new to Hampton we like to support local business. He had tires replaced and the staff worked diligently to ensure his service was perfect. Not easy on an older SUV. They took time to properly adjust the alignment on his vehicle. And it is driving great now.

Got out of work with a flat tire, tried to call the local NTB in seabrook and they didn’t even answer, called around and finally got Joe at Monro in Hampton. He got me in within 5 mins of pulling into the parking lot. Unfortunately the tire was not fixable but Joe got a new tire on in no time at all. Great price and definitely will recommend to friends. I had my car towed randomly to Monro after blowing my tire at Hampton Beach. Joe went out of his way to get a new tire on my car so I could get right back on the road. Prices were very reasonable

I have a 2007 Honda Pilot with 225k miles and it needs service/repairs from time to time. My go to shop is Monroe Auto Service in Hampton. Joe and the team at Monroe provide prompt, accurate, and competitive estimates and they complete the work in a timely manner. The quality of the work is also excellent. I brought the pilot in for a loud muffler and annual inspection in February and they were able to fix the muffler, identify and repair a steering issue, complete the annual inspection, and have the car back on the road that day! I highly recommend Monroe in Hampton!

Overstrict with inspections. Do not go here for that purpose. Pinged for a small crack in a fog light, slightly old washer blades and fender rust as structural rust.

Joe and his team are amazing! Joe literally at 4:30pm on a holiday was able to quickly get a part for my sons vehicle and have the car fixed by 7pm so he could drive back to school that night! Management problems abound! Two managers have quit in two weeks. Poor communication between managers who are there. Had to return immediately after a repair. MyCheck Engine Light is still on. Finally, I think they may have found problem. Melted pipe underneath car. Needed tune up. Car runs smoothly. Not certain if management problems solved. Check engine light came back on. Service is starting to improve. They had to repair work from previous employees. Missing bolt that caused air to trigger sensor. Under warranty. May have finally found problem with check engine light . Good employees keep leaving. Current staff I hope stays. Service has improved. No one was ever rude, everyone I encountered was friendly. I gave four 🌟 s because Monroe seems to have resolved management issues.Update: May, 2019; Joe is back! I missed Joe when he left. Hopefully, he can keep things moving smoothly!

My husband had 4 winter tires delivered to Monro in Hampton, NH for my car. Monro let me know when they were in (about 3 days after he ordered them) and all I had to do was show up, wait a very short amount of time, and pay them a VERY reasonable amount for this service. They were a pleasure to work with and gave me a lot of advice on how to care for my new tires to get the best wear. Excellent service and very friendly. I will look forward to going back there.

Wow! We were on a weekend getaway and had tire trouble on a Saturday. Luckily, we found Monro Auto Service and Tire Center on Lafayette Road in Hampton, NH. Joe Fredette was friendly, courteous, and concerned that we have our tire repaired ASAP so that we could enjoy the area. He took us right in and his crew did the repair in under a half an hour and for a very reasonable price. We left very satisfied. When the low tire pressure light came back on a couple of hours later, we called Joe who said, Come back in, and well take care of it. He and the gang in the shop took care of the leaking tire and had us in and out in no time, and better yet, didnt charge us for the second repair. What a great way to run a business! We had a blast with Joe and his workers, and we would recommend Monro Auto Service to anyone in a pinch or for regular maintenance. (The waiting area also had plenty of current magazines to browse...always a plus.)

Ordered tires and installation 4 days in advance, when I arrived -they didnt have the tires, and tried to up sell me. Was told the store was under new management, and that Kelly didnt make a tire for my car (a Camry). Their own web-site lists the Kelly as a fit. - Id be real careful going here - I went back because I had a good experience in the past- Now that its under new management Id give it a hard pass! I did get my Kelly tires at Sullivan Tire (a couple hours later) exact same ones that the guy at Monro said they didnt make. Hmmm, somethings fishy >-

New to the area and was hunting for my next go-to place for car upkeep. I think I found it with this Monro. Fantastic service. I appreciated the guys patience and willing to let me poke around and see exactly what was problematic under the belly of my car. Seemed pretty transparent and straight forward about what needed to get done.

Our girls’ weekend was saved by the guys at Monro. My van was signaling that tire pressure was low. A visual check proved the alert to be accurate and when attempting to use the air tank at a gas station the sensor on the stem broke off. There was no way I could drive very far on the tire, so with all six of us in the van, I stumbled upon Monro just down the road from the gas station. Joe and crew were so very helpful and besides making the repair, we all made the best of it with lots of chatter and laughter. Thanks guys! We were in our merry way in about 45 minutes but that was not the end of the tire drama. The low tire pressure alert returned later so we drove directly back. As it turns out, there was also a puncture which they patched promptly. Thanks for taking us on the fly and helping us out in a tough situation 150 miles from home!

Fair prices, solid work, great people. My first visit was in August 2018 for new brakes, and based on that experience, and Joe and the team at Monro was my first call last week when I had new tires installed and my car aligned. Having a reliable shop local to me is awesome, and if my aging Subaru needs any more TLC, itll get it here.

Kevin and Josh were very professional and took care of my oil change in a timely manor. Their inspection listed some items which need replacing which was great to know. They did not push the extra work onto me but were courteous to explain the reasoning behind the need for maintenance. I will most likely be coming back here for service.

Stopped in at 6 pm when all the other shops were closed. On the highway worried about the vibration from the steering wheel.
