I absolutely ❤️ Parisian!!! Thier salon services are the best value around!!! Yes, it may take a little longer (they are students). But I can assure you that youwill be happy b/c the teachers are right tthere with them! My experience was top notch from making my appointment to the valet service to the front desk staff and ultimately my student stylist and her teacher. Keep up the great work Parisian! 👏🏾❤️👏🏾❤️👏🏾

Jesus Christ if i could give this place 0 stars I would - I came here last year right before covid closed down everything. I spent about 10 hours here getting my hair done, only to come out with orange streaks and wet hair, they didnt even blow dry my hair because they said they were closing soon. Do not come here!!! The pictures attached are what I asked for and what I came out with.

From the moment you drive up you are greeted by a friendly and professional staff member. My experience was amazing. Erin presented as professional and explained the process completely. She was very thorough. The teacher was available to answer any questions. I’m definitely returning.

It was a great experience. I got hairdresser May and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair in layers and I got my hair dyed too. She did a very nice blow dry at the end. Since its a school it just takes time but it was a great experience. The instructors were also very nice in guiding. Amazing prices. Keep it up. Will come back for more.

As a parent of a high school senior looking for information we were treated so very professionally by EVERYONE from the valet, to the front desk and various office staff we met.We were given a complete tour of the academy and the knowledgeable, energetic, personable young lady showing us around had answers to every single question asked.The students showed their creativity in their hair and makeup, yet looked professional in all black attire with lab coats. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there learning skills for their futures.

I took the esthetics program in this school and the learning leaders were phenomenal! Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Denise always go out of their way to help you. I learned so much in such little time, it was so much fun. The front desk ladies are also so lovely! Theyre patient and extremely professional.

Unprofessional. There would be times none of the staff would know what they’re doing. Seen cockroaches here many times and they say “oh it’s just a bug. No big problem” if you come here as a student be prepared to spend more money. And have a terrible educational experience. Getting interrupted every day. Small classrooms. Prison cafeteria. Terrible school.

Witnessed a Spanish client tell the hairdresser (in Spanish of course) she did not want the student touching her or to do her hair because he was black. The fact that this kind of request was actually granted speaks highly of what type of business they conduct and the type of disrespect they allow their students to endure. Imagine being a student to experience that and affect your future. How is this a teaching salon? Is it teaching them it’s okay to take racism? It’s okay to allow your employer to put you in a position and be okay with dealing with racism? Disgusting.

Hello All!! I am writing this review because I regularly get my hair done at Parisian Beauty Academy, and I was surprised to find out that it is a kept secret in Bergen County! I went in today to get an asymmetrical bob haircut today. Jenifer (correct spelling), the student who did my hair, is wonderful!!! She is a quick learner, and she listened to what I wanted. She also made suggestions as well (for example, not going too short on one side of my hair).I also want to give a special shout out to Cesar, who is the teacher at the school. Cesar is very professional, and does a great job monitoring the students work without being a micro-manager (if you get what I mean).The first time I got this hairstyle (asymmetrical bob), was approximately 1 month ago. Jenifer remembered how to cut my hair from the time that the teacher showed her how to do it.I also must say that Parisian is great value for the money/service. If you are looking to change your hairstyle, bring a picture with you of the model/celebrity hairstyle you are after. It will help them to give them context.

Went there yesterday for a balayage and I was skeptical how will things turn out. The person I got did a wonderful job. Products they use are great too. The girl (forgot her name) did some curls in my hair and the hair spray she used was not sticky or did not make my hair dry like other hair salons. High recommend this place and I will surely be back again.

DO NOT COME HERE AS A STUDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Recent graduate from Parisian here. Attending this school is one of my biggest regrets. Not only does this program cost so much - considering what they offer - they continue to sell you nonsense the moment you step in; from uniform shirts you DONT need though they say you do to extra courses that should be included in the program considering the cost. The staff here act young and unprofessional. Parisian prides themselves on Be Nice or Else and claims thats what separates them from other schools - THAT IS A LIE. Not only have I witness students being harassed, the school has taken no true disciplinary action about it. The curriculum is so underwhelming even for true beginners and then they tell you everything youll need to truly learn youll learn out there in the real world they claim to be creating future professionals but the truth is so many of these people are far from professional or even mature. The entire environment feels like a catty high school. Save yourself and visit other schools, seriously

Have been a client for more than one year, calling today for my next appointment. I find the students are professional and skilled and the instructors attentive. It is important to have realistic expectations, these are students trying their best. I go for simple hairstyles and have always had a positive experience. I also know someone in admissions who speaks so eloquently about the mission statement and the life skills they try to instill in their students. That is a great reason to support the company as a customer.

I had a really great experience here. My hair is kind of difficult to deal with and Im extremely picky with the way it looks and how I have it done. I got a blowout done here by a talented young lady named Jackie Greenberg and she did an excellent job. She was personable, professional, listened to how I wanted it done and delivered. I was truly impressed. It was my first time here and frankly I was quite anxious. But she did an incredible job. Ive already scheduled another appointment with her. Shes great!

I love Parisian Beauty Academy its the best cosmetology school to go to. Every learning leader is so amazingly talented each level you move on to you love each new teacher in a new way and learn so many new things. I was part of the skincare night class. Had a great experience with Mrs.Matias. She created a great learning environment and amazing atmosphere. Couldnt have asked for a better teacher. I came out of the night program with so much knowledge about skincare and dealing with clients in the industry. The energy she brought to the class made me want to learn more. I loved going to school and looked forward to it because of her!

Ive been coming to this location for many years and I dont stop coming because I like it that much. Today I got my hair done by Sara Fuentes and she styled my hair in a different way which has made me feel beautiful. I asked her to surprise me and she did exactly that. I am very satisfied and I am rebooking my next appointments with her. Ive also had services done by Hung and Evelyn who are both former students and exceptional stylist. In general, I have always been satisfied by every future professional who has done a service on me. I have never had a complaint. I recommend this place to everyone.

The owners, and learning leaders are all friendly, amazing, and are always helping out the future professionals here at Parisian . Ive been to the Parisian Beauty Academy many times. Except for the one bad experience I had I still highly recommend the academy. It was an isolated incident. As long as clear instruction is given to your stylist and you dont go for anything drastic the experience is great. Ive been a customer since 2008 and have recommended many people to try it out. This place is a true hidden gem. My daughter and I cut and blow dry our hair for 33 dollars! The haircut looks amazing. We were both refered to Victor, who has 16 years of experience in his country. I am so pleased and both of our hair is curly and thick!

Ok, well I was actually a student at Parisian Beauty Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School. And I cant say enough good things. I took my schooling extremely seriously. From always being the first in, to the last coming out. I was nearly an A+ student, throughout the text work. I went one to being one of the 3 top students in my course. Even graduating ahead of my original graduation date. I took pride in everything I did and was taught. Not every student strives or has this kind of ambition for education, and can very well trail onto their work once they reach creative floor, or salon. We were all learning as we moved up, not just haircutting techniques, but all about professionalism. Just like any other school, some students take it seriously, some do not. However leaving with a poor haircut, should never happen, because we were obligated to let our mentors know when we finished a cut, so they can check or if needed fix it. It hurts to read these poor reviews because I never would let a client down. If I needed help, I haul my mentor over. I would make sure I did the service of the best of my ability and ensure my client was completely satisfied. I think it all depends on who you get as student styling your hair. I can honestly say, Parisian Beauty Academy gave me that foundation, and most importantly my level of professionalism to go out be the hairstylist I wanted to be and am today.

The most interesting and fun salon I continue to go to every Thursday evening. The students are great and the instructors are amazing. I have been going to this school since 2013 and my hair looks amazing and has truly grown. If your nearby stop in for an appointment and Im sure youll go back!!!

The staff at Parisian is amazing and so helpful and always there for you when u need them. theres always something fun going on and I wake up feeling excited to go to school. I came to this school knowing nothing about hair and no I can do a haircut or color application and more all on my own. I love what I do and Im hoping more ppl come in to get there hair done by me before I graduate by the end of the June.

Worst salon ever. They got my color wrong and I still had to pay for it. I showed the teacher a strand of my hair that I wanted my hair to be and instead of a very bright, light blond, she someone thought this meant a caramel. I came out with super brassy hair. The teacher knew I was unhappy and yet I still had to pay for it. They could have welcomed me back for another try and had me pay for that round, but instead I paid close to seventy dollars for something I have to go get redone somewhere else. Unacceptable.

I called for an appointment, which I love the fact that youre able to make an appointment. Considering its a school. I was given Elan to do my color. What I was getting done was not an easy task. I had to remove the old color and apply the new ( this was my choice ) and Im glad I did. Elan who goes by Yani was very personable, professional and accurate. Might I add the school is cleanly organized with an upbeat atmosphere. Yani asked questions, considered what I wanted to be done and was able to give me the look I came in hoping to get. While all of this was going on with the watchful eye of her instructor. Im very sure Elan with be a successful stylist and I would definitely return to the school.

Took advantage of the $10 mani/pedi holiday special - great value! Students are super nice and easy to talk to. They did a nice job on my nails, but be prepared for it to take quite a bit longer than going to a regular salon. I definitely recommend Parisian if you are looking to save some money on beauty services and if you have the extra time to do so. I also like the idea that you are helping the students to learn their trade. Im already scheduled to go back!

Lol for anyone with the bad reviews check out panico in Ridgewood . They do an amazing job and the staff there are amazing as well .But Parisian beauty academy visited my school one time the instructor was amazing . Parisian Beauty Academy does not value their students whatsoever. The teachers are great but the administration is awful. Tara verbally abuses students, calls them names and puts them down often acting like shes the best thing that ever happened to the school. And the owners will look the other way if you go to them with these problems. They have no regard for anyone, to them its all about money. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good school to go to. Its definitely not worth the $20k that I paid. And they dont help you with job placement like they say they do, the minute you graduate you are not their problem anymore, or so Tara has said to me. If I could give them negative stars I would.

Went here back in August 2018 for a much needed hair cut and curl. The student who did my hair was very nice and professional.

Ruined my hair and now I look awful. Told them that I want light brown hair. Top of my hair is honey light brown and the bottom is black with maybe a shade of dark brown. Extremely disappointed

This school is GHETTO. They should be more selective with the people they accept into the school. Students burp out loud & scream at the top of their lungs during school hours in the parking lot (Cosmo students). Very sad coming from ladies who want to work in beauty. However, the teachers and staff are very nice and helpful.

I suppose it does depend on who you have working on your hair. My sister and I went (after a coworker had said she had a positive experience there) but were unhappy with the results. Unfortunately the student I had didnt speak any English so we were unable to communicate without the instructor present. Luckily I only needed some buzz clipping done and it was easy enough to tell her that.. My sister didnt fair as well as I did and asked for long choppy pieces. Instead the front of her hair was left long (virtually uncut) and the back of her hair was cut abnormally short and then styled in a way for the student to attempt to hide what they had done.If youre willing to take a chance then you wont have to pay a lot. However, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.*EDIT*Saw my sister over the weekend and her hair cut is even more uneven and short in the back than I thought. Originally giving this place 2 stars was being generous.

This was my first time coming here and the first time I dyed my hair I was so nervous to do a change and you would think why not go to an experience hair stylist why go to a student well it was the best choice I had made I got a BEAUTIFUL OMBRE DONE BY FRANK(Francisco) and Natalie as his professor she guided him all the way even thou Frank didnt need supervision....I asked him questions and he gave me his honest opinion the results were FABULOUS I got a lot of beautiful comments and no one believed my hair was done by a Student !!! He also trimmed my hair exactly how I wanted, since everywhere i would ask for a trim i would always get my hair cut off short !!! The price is very reasonable and for the outstanding service you get I totally recommend the staff is friendly especially the front desk they make you feel like home !!! I had Fatima Sankar as my stylist I got my hair colored and blown out. I also needed my extensions done as well, not only did she have no problem with the extra task of doing my extensions but she got everything done quickly and gave me a beautiful fast blow out and I came out looking fabulous. Along with having a positive experience as always, Make sure you book with her because this girl is amazing.

Abigail Garcia was really friendly and sweet. She did a great job putting blonde babylights and toning my hair to the perfect shade. I love my hair so much! It’s just what I wanted I would recommend her to anybody. Can’t wait to go back and go lighter!

I recently came in knowing I wanted a change in regards to my hair but I didnt know exactly what I wanted. Luckily Rosie Checo made the experience so easy for me. First off, she was extremely sweet and understanding to my needs which made me feel comfortable enough to trust her and let her do whatever she felt would look right on me. She cut, blew out and then curled my hair and I couldnt have been any happier with the end result. I went to an event that night and got so many compliments. Not only did she make me look good, but she helped me feel good. I dont think I will let anyone who is not Rosie touch my hair again.

Bella is doing my hair as we speak and my hair is coming out great already!!!!!! Its so hard for me to find someone to do my hair this great because I have curly thick hair I cant wait to see the final results, which Im sure its going to to be amazing. Bella was wonderful! She gave me an awesome blow-out and layered in both 12 and 14 inch extensions. I received several compliments at the wedding I attended and most of all felt great!

I went there to look at the school and get feedback. It was a joke. I asked for a spiral perm and I also wanted more volume up top. they gave me beach waves perm, the three girls putting curls in my hair were graduating school soon but didn’t know which way the curlers go. The instructor then told me it was because the weight of my hair I couldn’t get curls on the top. I’m very particular with my hair and even my main hairdresser knows this. If you want your perm done right DO NOT GO HERE.

The skincare clinic is beautiful and comparable to an expensive day spa. The learning professionals are pleasant and knowledgable. I received a facial, back exfoliation and paraffin (hands & feet). I cant say enough... Excellent Service!!!

I went for manicure and pedicure the girl never did it in her life she had a paper in front of her trying to know. Its amazing they don give them instructions and practice with the other students before they take care of costumers.

The way he took care of me from the moment I sat in his chair till I walked out the door was a great experience and I will continue to come to him for all my hair needs. Parisian Beauty Academy is truly a fantastic organization! There arent many trade schools that work with world-renowned motivational & inspirational speakers, marketing gurus and are part of an internationally known brand as PAUL MITCHELL. It was an awesome experience. The skincare program teachers Mrs. Gladys and Miss. Vanessa are two beautiful women who have extensive experience in the beauty industry. They really know their stuff! They care about their profession and what they do. Which exudes in what they share with you everyday. You have a Dermalogica product rep Mrs. Denise who is super sweet and knows the brand very well. No other school actually prepares your for your state board like this school does. As in every part of life you get what you put in. If you give 100% Parisian will give 1000%. Not too mention the trips to the Dermalogica Dermal Institute in NYC and all the different makeup course and job fairs. I had some health issues that caused me to miss days and the support I received was just amazing. I was able to finish in time. I can really go on about how great they are but if you want to be a part of an organization that cares about you and your education then you have found the right place! I couldnt be happier with my career choice.

My hairstylist was Nercy and shes the best hairstylist Ive ever went to in my years of existence. She has a great personality and a great attitude. Ill definitely come back and ask for her soon!

Today I visited Parisian for a relaxer and style with Chris Bowen I was very impressed with the amount of attention I received. Chris is an awesome stylist and the floor manage Tara Finley was very helpful with making sure I was happy. Ms Tyshon help to show Chris each step to make my hair look nice.

Terrible experience. My haircut took 2 hours and was still ruined. The student did not consult the teacher even when he kept checking in if she needs help. Even after the teacher corrected her once, she did not take his suggestion. After the haircut she asked another student to help blow dry who kept burning my scalp. One of them dried my hair curling inside and the other one curling outside. It was a disaster. They put so much product in my hair that I came out with damp hair that wouldnt dry. My naturaly smooth and lusturous hair feels coarse and looks dead after two hours in the salon. I do not recommend them at all.

I went in for a facial and Gabby did a great job at making me feel comfortable and exfoliating my skin. Aside from being professional Gabby has a great sense of humor. I would defintely direct anybody seeking a facial to this establishment.

Here is my honest review of this particular academy. This academy is actually completely evil, shameful and horrendous. If youre a good person as I am, I would surely stay VERY far away from these people if I were you. Theyre very rude, dishonest, immature, insensitive, unprofessional and beyond discriminating. While speaking to a rep and politely asking a few simply and harmless questions, I was treated as if I were a scumbag. The rep had a atrocious nasty attitude and did not even care to help me out. I was stunned and completely hurt by the behavior of the rep.A few days afterwards, I decided to even visit this to place to speak in person to someone from the academy who could be able to help me out. Upon entering this place, I was stunned to witness how the workers were dressed. I suddenly thought I were in a sleazy adult nightclub. The staff wore clothes youd see in a playboy magazine. Seriously. No one dressed professional, or even just simply casual. I decided in the end to no longer associate with this place, upon seeing how the workers operated, dressed and rudely treated others. This place is not worth your time. Find a more respectful, professional and polite/nice beauty academy. Avoid this place at all costs, youd be doing yourself a truly great favor.

I just graduated from this school. Its the best school ever. The best teachers were mrs. Gladis, Mrs. Denise, and Mrs Vanessa for skin care. Even Mrs. Penny and every body were so eager to help me. This was the best decision I had ever made. This school opened up many roads for me. I would be happy to refer this school to all my friends.

I graduated from Parisian back in 2016. I had a great experience as a student. In my case it helps me a little that I grow up in the salon business. I will say that your experience here could go either way. While in school I had friends that they did just amazing, beautiful colors and wonderful haircuts others did just about right and some not that great but hey you cant blame the school for anyone failure. The desire to learn has to be in you. One think that I noticed about the school is that they will keep in touch if they see you havent got your license as me ;) they will basically be on top until you get done! I still miss some good people like Mrs. Eurika, Mr . Fernando, Mr Ceaser, Mrs. Jessica (she did my makeup for my wedding!!) and of course Mrs Rika and there are others but I cant remember their names at this very moment that made my time there very pleasant! I got my hair done with Walmi, one of the student at the Parisian beauty school few weeks ago. I am the kind that never knows what to do with my hair, so Walmi recommended a PM shine ( dont know how to spell it) It is a type of treatment that makes your hair super shine and sleek. It also covered my old high lights, giving my hair a natural even color. Although, she said that the color eventually runs out after showering your hair, mine still looks like the first time. She also cut my hair and gave it a new style. I have short hair and Im trying to let it grow, so she trimmed in the back and gave it a nice layer style in the front. Looking forward to my next appointment...🙋🏻

Bella did my hair and I had it set and curled. She did it very beautifully and the curls looked perfect. She recieved many compliments on it. I would definetly recommend her and shes super sweet!

It was wonderful time and getting your hair colored takes time. And you have to remember that they are learning to do hair. I live it. I would go back again

Ive been coming here for 9 years with my mom as a reasonably priced pampered experience and we continue to love it. Although the students may change, the quality of service does not. My current favorites are Kylie Fritz for her precise cutting skills that gave me the exact look I wanted; and Charul Barreto for her lovely customer service in making sure I got absolutely everything I wanted!

Ive been to Parisian for years but Ive never had such an amazing experience as I had with Malina Raab. She was so dedicated to making me happy. She did a color retouch and blow out in my first visit. Then did a beautiful haircut and blow out on the next visit. She is truly amazing. I have never fet so comfortable in the school before. I will continue to follow her after she graduates!!! I definitely recommend her to everyone!

Since this is a school the quality of the service is hit or miss since it is dependent on the student you get. However, depending on the service you want you can save a lot of money here. I come here to get my hair dyed and I must say it is worth it especially since I usually use a coupon. You can get a Demi permanent color, wash and flat iron for around $20, definitely cant beat this price at a regular salon.

My hair was damaged and lifeless. I came to the salon at Paresian Beauty Academy and Malina and Tyshon took very great care of my hair and made my experience great. Having natural hair makes it hard to manage, but they aced my wash, press and cut. I will definitely be back and recommend any woman to come here for all hair types!

I had a student who did not listen to her learning leader and vocalized that to other students. She did not check in prior to starting my balayage hair color and ended up messing it up. Cut my hair way shorter than I asked her to. She also kept leaving to FaceTime with some guy. When I asked her to blow dry my hair she said diffusing it is better and will take less time, it did not look good.---EDIT-- I ended up dying it on my own again and going to another salon

I just got back from the Parisian Beauty Acadamy with an awesome haircut thanks to my stylist Briana Musso! Definitely ask for her If you want a professional cut! She pays attention to detail and admires her work!

I love my school Parisian Beauty Academy because I came on a Saturday and my lovely guest inspired me because she told me her husband died a few weeks ago and I made her feel beautiful for the first time in a while and that made me feel so proud of my work and made me so happy that she felt beautiful.

Let me start off my saying, I created a appointment with a specific hairstylist and waited a week for the next time she was in. Only to get there and have someone else take me for my appointment, funny considering I signed in at the front desk and specifically said “I made an appointment with casey”. Then I fought with the stylist and her teacher for over an hour about the fact I did not want my hair cut, they were trying to convince me. Finally I got my way and we started my hair. I showed them a picture of exactly what I wants. A very low blonde baylage. As they started to lighten my hair they were starting the lines extremely high. So I got nervous and asked if it would look like the picture. The stylist said yes do I let them continue. In the end I ended up with blonde hair all the way to the roots I might as well have dyed my hair myself. Completely ruined the look I was going for. Ontop of all of this they sometimes spoke in Spanish in front of me which I dislike as if gel like they were talking bad about be for fighting for what I was, both the instructor and student spoke English amazingly. Also my original review was due to being forced my the student to write a good review. DO NOT GO HERE it was a madhouse, a mess of organization, and an overall crappy experience. If they don’t get to do what they want they will fight you till they do!!!

My experience was very outstanding . words cant express how much i love them, its very life changing. Its a heaven scent when i enter the building.

Wow! I had the most wonderful wash and blowout today from a student Giselle Gonzalez!

I had crown highlights done today, along with a color conditioning treatment and a custom facial. The entire experience was professional, effective, and outstanding. Nia is a very talented hair specialist who took time to understand what the outcome should be. The highlights are subtle and.blended so well. I wish Nia luck in her career, shes fabulous!Anna was a gentle and.effective skin estetician who moisturized and polished my skin so professionally. I booked a return appointment already. Excellent services!
