My best friend and I visited Mayas on yesterday for this first time. The nail style, type, and color selection is like one that Ive never seen! Theres so much to choose from and its set up on a table for you to look without touching for safety of other clients. Most people give you a basket full of colors and such or just hand them to you. That was a huge plus for me!!! The downfall is there isnt anywhere to sit while you wait on a nail tech. The VIP section is lit! As far as the services.. Im a fan of hot stones, but Im not willing to pay $17 extra for it! I explained that these are my real nails and they had no problem with shaping and cutting my nails to my length. Most nail shops have a problem with that and an issue with doing my nails. I mean its not like theyre super long but you know... My designs are ON POINT!!! Maya gave me the beach nails that I asked for no questions asked. So I say all that to say.. Yes my best friend and I will be returning for a second trip!

I found Maya Nails by chance after a quick Google search. I had no expectations walking in but was completely blown away by Mayas talent, the cleanliness of the facility, and my overall experience. Maya gave me the best manicure I have ever had and I will definitely be back to see her!

UPDATED, I asked for a gel polish with no manicure . I chose a color, sat down and the man came over with no gloves on and didn’t wash his hands, he was on FaceTime out loud, the majority of my service . I just wanted a polish change so my natural nail shape and length were not altered . Made this clear . He proceeded to file off the majority of my natural nail length and shape, I did not have tips on or any applied . The lengths are not even consistent either, if you’re going to file after I said not to at least make them even . He then stopped multiple times during my service to pick up his phone and talk on FaceTime . No headphones or anything . Then again without washing his hands proceeded to touch my hands without gloves . When he got the gel polish on my cuticles . He would take his own fingernail and run it under / across mine to remove the polish . This is completely unsanitary. A tool needs to be used not your fingernail . One of the nails was not properly cured . Causing the gel to smudge . And another has some sort of hair encapsulated in it under topcoat gel . Time and time again they’ve disappointed me . This is the absolute last time I will go here. There is absolutely no excuse . On top of that it took 40+ minutes for just a gel paint, no manicure on nails with a single coat of regular clear polish coming in. Update. 3 days after I got the nails done they chipped and peeled horribly, I decided to soak them off and it took forever and destroyed my natural nail . I don’t know what they used to cause this but it was atrocious .

Had my 1st appt 3 weeks ago. Scheduling an appointment was easy, Maya asked what I wanted in detail, applied the acrylic overlay I requested on 1 nail for my approval, then proceeded to apply the remainder with perfection - no rework required to shape or thickness 😊. Had my 2nd appointment with Maya today and I couldnt be happier.

I cannot discredit their skill they do AMAZING at nails but I had to pay 67 dollars for very very short natural ombré nails. Kinda ridiculously overpriced.

Majorly cut up my cuticles, fingers and nails, not a clean finish and very expensive. Very sweet people, but Wouldn’t recommend.

I love Maya Nails & Spa. Everyone there is very friendly and great at what they do. There is a huge selection of colors and styles to choose from. I am constantly impressed with how awesome my nails look after Maya works her magic. If you want to look like a fancy queen, go there.

I recommend Maya Nails & Spa over any other place Ive ever been to!! I Im always happy when I leave there and feel that they have excellent customer service and go above and beyond to make sure that youre happy. I wont go anywhere else.

The owner is very friendly and the design work is amazing. The owner tries to give everyone a special touch and personalized attention. I only had one other person in the salon do my nails and I was not pleased. In my opinion, the owner is the best person to do your nails. Other than that, I would love to see the workers change a few things sanitation wise such as having customers wash their hands before being serviced. Also, it wouldnt be a bad precaution to take customers temp upon entrance. Lastly, consistently wearing gloves and changing gloves between clients. Otherwise, it is a good nail salon.

Everything was great. I changed from getting just my nails done to getting a pedicure as well and they were very accommodating. I also changed from getting SNS to a gel full set and they were really nice and did my nails perfectly. Im definitely going back!

Maya is phenomenal. My nails look amazing and she is quick and excellent at her skills. Its been two and a half weeks and my nails still look the way they did when they were first done. Shes amazing!!!

I prefer to go here to have my pedicures over many other nail salons. I look around for cleanliness! I look behind the chairs on the floors and I check out the chairs, windows, I look for dirt and sloppiness. Most salons DO NOT MEASURE UP AT ALL. THIS ONE DOES AND THAT MATTERS TO ME. Who ever sits in the first chair saw my nails were not up to par and she made an executive decision to take me from a less experienced nail tech and worked her magic! I am beyond satisfied. Thick enough but still sleek. Her energy was just amazing! Love them! Just testing how long they lasted. If it made it to 2-4 weeks then I will leave another review. Thanks!

Friendly staff, accommodating, great job on pedicure and didn’t feel rushed. Even though they were VERY busy I was taken care of as soon as I came in (I was early for my appointment). I didn’t feel like they rushed through my service. The lady doing my pedicure did a thorough job. Another lady I assume is the owner even came to me before I left to check the quality of my nails. She made a few touch ups for me (that I messed up putting my flip flops on). I really appreciated that. It was my first time here but I will be back!

This was my first time at Mayas. I have ingrown toenails and I have had horrible luck finding a salon I will go back to. I am happybto say I do not have to look any more! After all the pedicures I have had in my 47 years, this one was the best! I nearly fell asleep during the leg and foot massage. This place is a little slice of heaven. 🥰

Waited over an hour for service with an appointment. Then received half of my requested services and it was horrible. Had to pay more money at another salon to fix. They can not handle a busy crowd and appointments.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because we were still able to get our nails done even though we were late for scheduled appointment time due to something that came up at work. Not sure if the technician was rushing through or what caused it, but my daughter ended up having her fingers cut with the emery board. Two days later and our fingers are still sore from where they were nicked with the drill.

Maya does my daughters nails so nice. She is also through with my eyebrows. I quit going to the other salon because they were butchering my eyebrows. I have been coming to her salon since it opened last year

I went about a year ago and got dip for the first time and mine and my sisters were breaking off within a few days. Decided to try them again today since they are super close to me, I went in to get get nails done with a short coffin style and they are not even, not all the same length, a few are crooked and they didn’t even touch my cuticles. I paid 55 dollars just to have them fixed tomorrow. I believe it was maya who did them. Will not be back.

Maya was a great nail tech and conversationalist. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made me feel right at home. My mom and step dad both got pedicures and they couldnt be more happy. We will definitely be returning and spreading the news. We love this place so much!

They dont acknowledge you even if you make an appointment. I got a polish change on hands and toes. I changed my mind on the color for my toes so mgmt told me it would be $5 more. I wont be returning they lost my business!

My fiancé and I just went in for pedicures (scheduled, called ahead) upon arriving we awkwardly stood in the door for a few minutes. Maya told us to go into the back room where we sat and someone started helping us. She came back with the wrong pedicure sets twice so the third time I asked the guy across to help her (which he did). We both got mid grade pedicures and neither of us got what actually felt like a massage. The lady doing my feet left half way to go help someone else so I sat with almost cold water. The lady in the open part who was there getting a pedicure when we arrived was still getting hers when we left lol. I’m honestly disappointed and it’s unfortunate we spent our money here.

Took my mom and daughter for a little holiday treat the luxury pedicure with mango scrub was to die for. Very clean establishment and wonderful staff. Highly recommended! Open till 7pm Mon thru Sat

Quick, friendly, and they did a fantastic job!I’ve been avoiding getting my hair and nails done since March to mitigate unnecessary risk, so I was surprised at the safety precautions that Maya Nails was taking to protect both their employees and clients. I did not feel at risk whatsoever. They had clientele spaced out, the place was not crowded, they had signs up, plexiglass up, and everyone in the place was masked. I’ll definitely be back in a couple of weeks.

Absolutely LOVE this location!!! I recently moved to the area and just randomly chose this place and crossed my fingers that it would be good... and wow, Maya and her team never cease to amaze me! Maya is so talented and you can show her a picture of anything you want on your nails and she makes it happen. Their pedicures are perfectly priced and soooo relaxing. On top of all of that, her team is strictly following social distancing guidelines so I know I’m in a clean and safe area. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. Today was the worst experience Ive ever had in my entire life at a nail salon. The service that I have received from Maya and her team was disappointing and embarrassing. I went in only wanting a pedicure and a polish change. During my pedicure the lady who was doing my pedicure told me the only option that they had that day was the $45 pedicure. Whenever I asked another woman that was walking by she stated no that they had other options I brush it off thinking that the previous lady had misunderstood me. During my pedicure I felt like it was rushed. After she finished my pedicure she asked me what did I want to do I told her I only wanted to change the Polish. She then proceeded to take me to the table and place my hand in a bowl of acetone. I told her no I just wanted to polish change she said that I had to place my hand and the acetone before she was able to change theI told her no I just wanted to polish . change she said that I had to place my hand in the acetone before she was able to change the Polish. After 40 minutes (the last had started on another client at this time) went by I took my hand out the acetone and my am I overlay that I received two days earlier was peeling off. I decided to leave I went to pay and I told maya that I wanted to. She insisted that I stay and that she personally will fix my nails. I told her exactly what I wanted I just wanted to polish change with some diamonds added onto my nails. When she started fixing my nails she asked later can she see a picture of what I wanted when I showed her the picture she said no I do not have time to do all of that I have another client. At that point I was wondering why why did she ask me to stay and that she would fix my nails if she did not have time to fix them. I told her that was fine she did not have to do what I wanted and she procee I told her I was disappointed and wasnt happy she said that it will be okay and then she said that my total was $75 after I paid the $75 I left her nail salon completely disgusted I would never in my life step foot in that nail salon AGAIN! I left and went to Lee nails which was right up the street and they did exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes. During my time at Mayas nails overall it was 3 hours just to get a basic pedicure and nail polish change! Save your money Im warning you its not worth it!

I went with my daughter and my mom because they were recommended by a family member and had great reviews. I will never return.We had an appointment for 5:00 and it seemed like everyone else did as well. They clearly make more appointments within the same hour that they can handle. They started my hands at 5:30 and didn’t start my moms pedicure until 6.I got the dip, which is expensive in itself, and at the end the tech said there was some “stuff” in my nails and she wanted to point it out before I noticed. Looked like little black flakes. She laughed about it. Not funny to me considering I paid $45 for the dip. Apart of our appointment was for me to get a pedicure. I wasn’t able to get that done because we didn’t have time to wait longer and they were still accepting walk ins who all needed a pedicure.To top it all off, I have an infection and my doctor said she’s positive it was from the nail salon. Which would make sense considering they were working way too fast to properly sterilize their tools and more than one person worked on my hands.

Im very picky with what I like done and I have to say my nails look great. They did an amazing job!! This is definitely my go to nail salon. Prices are reasonable and service is awesome!

Me and my daughter got our nails done here. Really friendly staff nice atmosphere however their very slow getting started. They treated me and my daughter as if we were one customer. Paying full price for both manicures and pedicures only one person did our pedicures as others came in and got their services done. If in a group come in separate you may get out faster lol. Other than the wait they did a great job.

We came in a group of 4 people for pedicures an hour before they closed on a Sunday. They opened up a semi-private room for us, turned on our hot water and massage chairs and let us soak until they had a chance to get to us. My pedicure looks great and we will definitely be back to enjoy some of the higher quality spa pedicures they offer!

I just moved to South Carolina from Florida. I have been looking for a nail salon for a few weeks. I found Maya nails and because the ratings were so good I decided to try it. I am in love with their work. I had a pedicure and tried the ombre powder for the first time on my nails. The place is so clean and the people are very friendly. I have found a new place! The place is nice very good atmosphere. It was my first time. The lady who did my mom did a great job her toes looked great. The guy who did mine rushed through was done in less than 10 mins cut two of my toes and polish didnt look good. Would definitely recommend this place just not the tech that did my toes.

They are great technicians and Ive always been happy with their work. But I stopped going because it would take at least 3 hours just to get a fill.. even on weekdays. I made appointments each time, but still had to wait an hour or more. And that would be ok but I saw them take walk-ins before appointments. But I think they book too many appointments for the staff they have; it seemed that appointments took no precedence. But for anyone who has the time its a good place.

Went in for a full face wax and pedicure and found the services to be outstanding. I was a walk in and I was rotated in while soaking in the massage chair ( a nice touch). Several clients spoke highly of this spa as well. I will definitely return.
