Was excellent and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Even though busy got done and didnt feel rushed
The worst! My nails look like jelly beans that are melting off my fingers. I asked about it and they acted like they couldnt see it. I am disappointed, my husband wanted to do something nice for me after the birth of our daughter and got me a gift certificate for this place. I am sad that the quality is so bad that I cant show off my new nails, they give me anxiety to look at!!
Love this salon! Showed up bright and early when they barely had time to unlock before we got to the door, and they were pleasant and ready to get my daughters nails done. Nails look wonderful too!
Horrible experience. Too many things to even comment on. I will definitely not be back.
Absolutely trash. if i could rate it 0 stars i would. went in to get my nails soaked off and painted with french tips. the lady hardly soaked them and just drilled away leaving my nails painfully thin. she filed them and left them completely crooked. when i asked to have them evened she did nothing. went on to paint them and it looked like my 2 year old daughter did it. i had it removed and left.
I was excited to go in and get my nails done for the first time in forever and they completely messed up my nails!! They are uneven and bulky and the shape isnt even right. I asked for pointy and I got an almond shape instead. Now I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed and done right. I do not recommend anyone to go here. Do not waste your time or money going here.
My daughter came from out of town. We got our feet done and the lady said she was putting something on her feet without telling her what it was. When it came time to pay they charged her $5 extra for whatever they put on her feet! She said it was callous remover. Never have I been charged for that. The least they could have told her they would charge the extra $5! They were not good at all. I wouldnt waste my money there again. You shouldnt either
I’ve been going to the same nail salon for over 10 years and the last few years I’ve been going I’ve noticed the business had only one person there the owner. I loved going because they’ve always done my nails but lately I’ve been pretty upset with my nails and being left at the salon by myself so they could pick up the kids. Today I wanted to try a different salon and I LOVE THIS PLACE... 1st they are fully staffed. I saw maybe 5-6 workers. The salon was very clean and bright! They had all the colors you could imagine! And the lady that did my nails was so gentle I could’ve fallen asleep lol. I’m overall very happy I went to this salon and will be definitely returning for my fill 👌🏻☺️
I really enjoy this place. Been going regularly for 3 years, about once per month. There are plenty of technicians so the wait to begin is never long. They do a great job every time.
*Updated review from 5 stars. * Been to this salon 3 times. The first 2 times were great! Beautiful nails. 2nd visit ended up having a fungus after a week. To no fault of anyones, I assumed it was a fluke. 3rd time I asked for clear, as my nails were almost as long as the tips, so you couldnt see the lines. So they took off the old polish with the dremel(instead of soaking). I was redipped and the nails looked pretty, although rushed paid $45.50 for a fill and the fungus to be removed? Within 1 day, a nail broke-never happens at any other salon or here previously. Then day 3, 2 more nails broke. You can see where Im going. Within 2 weeks-all of the tips had broke and protein was chipping off. I wont be back. Too expensive for broke nails and fungus.
I have been scheduling my appointments with Kim for almost a year now and am thrilled with her work and the cost. She is quick and does an excellent job and always brings my vision to life. Not always as pleased if I go in spur of the moment without an appointment but still better cost than other places I have been.
EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE🙌🏼 10/10 recommend. absolutely amazing. I was beyond pleased with my experience. The workers are so kind and accommodating, making your experience the best possible. My nails look so good and they did them exactly how I asked.
Went in to get my nails painted. this was my first time going here and i won’t be going back. the lady rushed through everything and my nails look horrible. i had to go get them fixed at another nail place. she also pressured me to give her a big tip and was pushy about it
Have visited twice. First time I went and Kim did my nails and they were awesome. Heading back today to get a fill and theyve lasted a few weeks. Second time I went with my mom to get pedicures and we sat in the chairs for about 45-hour before someone started working on us. We were not told there would be this long of a wait. Overall, pretty good.
I have been coming here for over a year now and will never ever go anywhere else!! They are so kind and take great care of you!
Pedicure was sub par. Had to go back after 2 weeks to have my nails fixed after paying$50. Fixed for free.. but half had glitter on them and some didnt. Bad job fixing them. Always wait a long time. Not impressed and expensive
Very badly done. I could. Have done myself. Waste of money
The owner made it right when I wasn’t 100% satisfied the first time around. I ended up coming back the same day for a “fix.” It meant a lot to me when she made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. She is very talented.
The lady was a little rough and one of my nails came out of the dryer messed up but she didnt fix it. Despite the Jesus music playing, the atmosphere was okay.
They have done a great job on my nails it self. but I really need a good pedicure. And they dont really know how to do them I felt as though they were washing my feet maybe a lotion and just polish
Very amazing staff but manicure came off within 2 days. Love this place though and will definitely come back!
Im officially a believer in protein nails versus gel! Denise was great and did a fantastic job. The pedicure was a bit of the skimpy side, but overall it was okay. There is a slight language barrier, but they do their best to communicate. Also keep in mind that the protein is slightly more expensive than gel, but it also lasts twice as long.
Just left. Older woman did pedi and it was the roughest most painful pedi I’ve ever had. 0 enjoyable or relaxing, she used a scrub which I’ve never had before nor did ask and felt like sandpaper taking off my skin. I asked her twice to lighten up on the pressure and she just nodded, when she buffed nails it was like she was slamming the buffer on my toe as hard as she could. All in all, color looks good but legs and feet are paying for it.
I love Protein Nails. They do an absolutely superb job. I have been a customer here for 9 years. The process is great for your nails and it lasts for weeks so it saves money!!!
I went to get acrylics for my birthday, and they aren’t what I expected, the guy didn’t even clean up the edges, also most parts aren’t ever 1 painted or 2 doesn’t even have the top gel coat. My middle finger nails are two different sizes.
Love Dan and Denise, I was looking for a specific color that they did not have but they actually made it by mixing 2 different colors!
Love this place. The staff is very friendly. My nails always look amazing. I’m always getting compliments on my nails everywhere where I go. Denise is the best!
This place is terrible. I could have done a more relaxing pedicure myself at home. It lasted about 20 minutes, polish and all. I also had a gel manicure and it was even worse than my pedicure. I ended up with very clumpy and uncured nails. Im a person who doesnt complain very often, at least not out loud, but I expresssed my dislike with both services with the nail tech; she didnt seem to care or understand and rolled her eyes.My nails looked completely unprofessional and looked like my child had done them. Once this lovely experience was over, I noticed that my toes were completely streaked and uneven but by this point, I just wanted to leave. The workers are not very friendly and do not seem to care if their customers are satisfied. I understand that there is a language barrier but that shouldnt excuse them from rude behavior or from being able to do a good job on a service that Im paying for. I went to my normal nail spa the next day and paid for these services again, this ordeal has taught me to stick to what I know. I can not recommend this salon to anyone for any reason as the skill and customer service are both lacking, its a shame too because this salon has the potential to be so successful given its location.
This is a great place to get your nails done. Denise the owner, does a beautiful job with protein Nails, which are dipped into powder. She moves the customers in and out pretty quickly. Pleasant atmosphere!
Did not feel like a friendly environment. Felt rushed and pushed by the consultant I had and the prices are a bit ridiculous. Definitely going to another one from now on .
Drove down from downtown to meet some friends for an appointment only to be told that they didnt have our appointment nor could they accommodate us despite that fact. Would not recommend. Poor customer service.
Like my nail technician Kim. She does a very nice job. I usually make an apt as opposed to being a walk-in.
Amazing salon!!
First time going, and they were quick, and great, our nails and eyebrows look amazing will make the drive to come back!!!
Sat and waited for 45 mins and waited. We ended up leaving.
They get you in quickly plus you can make appt. Denise the owner does a great job.
I wish I had the experience my referring friends continue to have here. But my nail technician was very dismissive and rude toward me the entire time. I got a full set and when she was originally gluing the nails on, I noticed that the thumb nail she used was much too small. I pointed it out to her and she shook her head no. So I repeated myself and explained how I really would like a larger size and the lady working next to her told me that she heard me. Well, I know that she heard me but she shook her head no at me. Maybe the lady next to her did not see that. Then, when it came to length, I told her I wanted my nails the same exact length as hers. I play an instrument and its very important that my nails dont get in the way. When it came to filing them down to the correct length, she asked me if they were short enough and I said no I need them shorter. This happened a couple times. She then beecame visibly frustrated and aggressively grabbed for her dremel. After this, it was clear to me that my opinion on my nails is unwelcome here. I figured if I wanted her to do a good job, I had better keep my mouth shut and let her do what she wants. Regardless, I got to my car and took a good look and realized that my nails are extremely crooked (to the point that my husband even said something) and my own nails are visible above the white tips. Also, after all of that, my nails are still not as short as hers. Im not sure why I was treated this way. I wanted to treat myself and really was in a good mood and hoping to continue that for the rest of the day. I thought, it will be nice to go into a new nail shop and get to know the people in there. Not so much. $45 plus $10 tip for a sub par nail job and being in an upset mood for the rest of the day. Not my idea of a good experience.
*change from 5 stars* Not that good at putting simple designs such as dots. It’s expensive just for the gel to come off after 1 day. Not my favorite. Employees are rude when you politely ask to make changes. 🤷🏼♀️
I have visited this location 3 times. The first time was terrible. My nails were all uneven. When I attempted to tell her she did not know what I was saying. The TV was on a movie which showed nudity and sex. Another customer and I tried telling them what was on and they just laughed. What if a child had walked in? I only decided to go back because my sister-in-law said she had never had an issue. My second visit was without incident. My nails were lovely and lasted a couple of weeks. My third visit put me over the edge. I will not be back. I asked how long the wait would be. I was told they could get me in right away. I was seated right away, however, I waited so long my water was cold prior to ever getting my pedi. I asked him not to make my nails too short. He cut them almost to nothing. After 2 weeks, they still look too short. My fill was fine...to begin with. Then, after 3 days, one of the nails broke. I thought maybe I was the cause of it. So I didnt do anything about it. Then nails began breaking every couple of days. Here I am 2 weeks later and have 9 broken nails which look awful. In all the years Ive had my nails done, this has never happened before.
Had a pedicure they had me take a seat for like 20 mins before they got to me. Then she used tools that werent in a sterile package. I questioned it and she acted like she couldnt understand me then said she got them from the back room steriler... another person said no she didnt and saw her go from another station to me. Rude and unsafe practices. I wont even give 1 star.
My nails chipped off paint within hours, she was not careful and cut my cuticle. It bled a lot and she was going to keep painting it! I am very upset because Ive never been treated so badly when Ive come here before.
This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I waited almost 45 minutes with very little acknowledgment from the staff, and they all seemed to be taking their sweet time. I was fine with that at first because I am more than willing to wait if they are taking their time and doing a nice job...that wasnt the case. I got the one guy who was there and this was the most half-assed manicure I have ever seen. First off, he cut my nails off, and I mean to the point where there is no white left on any of them. Then, he took like two swipes across each nail, so they are still jagged in spots. He removed my cuticles by PULLING on them, and half of them are still visible under my nails polish. His idea of a hand massage was, I kid you not, two swipes up my arm and two down my pinky and thumb. My middle three fingers didnt get any lotion AT ALL, which I guess is good because the lotion smells horrendous. And to top it off, my polish is also sloppy in places. The entire manicure itself took about ten minutes, and when I got to my car I noticed that YOU CAN STILL SEE SOME OF MY OLD POLISH under this new polish. I would have been better off saving the 15.50 (!) on a standard no frills manicure and just slapped on a coat of paint and home and been done with it. I didnt complain because I am currently getting ready for a wedding, and I didnt have time to wait another hour to get them fixed. I will never come back to this salon. The photo is what they look like after this ordeal...
Have been to this nail salon five times. Each time a different person. Talked me into protein nails, did not want the acrylic . They did last but felt very heavy. Have got pedicures and very chintzy. They ask you what kind of a pedicure you want and you pick it out on a laminated sheet. They still give you the more expensive one for $65, and all I wanted was the Mani Pedi for $35. They laughed with each other as they did the pedicure the only thing difference was they rub my legs with a salt scrub for maybe a minute. I know they speak English and they do make fun . When they were finished they told me $85 and that I could not get that deal because? I do not believe everybody has a nail license. I feel that they are a scam business, because it always cost more no matter what I get. I believe they are very busy so customer service isnt really important to them. Sadly, they can be phenomenal and there are girls there that do very good work. Manicures are absolutely worthless. Coldwater, do not clean under the nail. I feel I could do a better job at home. They have accommodated me by getting me in close to closing time, which I did appreciate. Love the fact that they are very close to my home, disappointed that they dont do a better job.
My pedicure was awesome but I was not impressed with the lady that did my manicure.
They did a wonderful job and I didnt have to wait and they were busy. Highly recommend.
Many of the customers were upset during my visit yesterday. I was shocked at the poor customer service that was given because it seems like the main goal is to rush the customers through. One lady had a gift certificate and was getting a pedicure, she asked for a flower on one toe and was told maybe next time! My sister in law had jagged and poorly polished nails, my daughters protein nails were lumpy and poorly shaped. I have overlooked a few things on my previous visits but will not be returning after this last visit.
Have been going to Denise and her team for years...love the new salon and excellent customer service!
Was there for the brows and tinting. Wonderful job.
Horrible dipping powder service! The powder is so thick on my nails and I had to ask twice to thin them out. Today my pinky already chipped and it’s only been 24hrs. I only went b/c my regular place was closed. I will have to go get them redone by people who know how to do it right.
My daughter went in to get protein nails. They did nothing special at all. They cut her with nail dremel, clipped her cuticle and made her bleed, rushed her out of the curing light, and then told her to give them a tip. She paid 60 dollars for what looks like a kindergarten paint job.
Great service every time I have been there. Great nails
Shop is VERY clean. Staff are very friendly. My nails always look perfect.
Always great customer service...owner is very conscientious and professional!
Love it i am very pleased with the people and my nails
Denise does an amazing job, the salon is clean and everyone is really nice.
I am very disappointed in the product/care my daughter received after she had showed me what was done. They not only made her bleed but her nails look horrible! Paid a lot for gel nails too. Very disappointed!
Owner is excellent but workers are 50/50
Great job my second time there and instill.habe no complaints
Pedicure was ok, manicure was a mess. They used the dremel tool and removed polish and most of my nail thickness. They pulled and tore my cuticles and in both instances didnt understand to stop. I asked several questions, which were not understood. The price was higher than indicated and they couldnt understand my question of why. Language barrier
Great staff and atmosphere!
I thought I would try a new place against my better judgement (been going to the same place for 7+ years) because I was in that area. They sat me down to do a full set of protein nails, got me started then moved me to the pedi chair for my pedicure. While in the middle of my pedi, she came over & began working on my nails again. This was after the lady doing my feet was rude about what exactly I wanted done to my toenails as they were short...umm file them? Anyways, this whole thing cost me $65. I left the location & when I actually looked at my nails realized shed done my pointer finger crookedly! I called to see if I could come back in the next day as I was unable to go back right then & she said yes with no appointment needed. I went back in the following day only to be seated in the waiting area & have another girl come to file the hell out of my finger. I told her that she wasnt going to make it straight that way so she huffed, said some stuff in a different language, & walked away. Finally Denise (this is who originally did my nails in the pedi chair no less) had me seated at her table & began to make me feel horrible. She told me my freaking finger was crooked. She berated me. She sternly asked what do you want me to do?! I explained nicely that I have never had an issue with my finger because its not actually crooked & that I didnt know how to tell her to put on my nails because this isnt my profession. When all was said & done I was fighting back tears & still wound up with a crooked nail AGAIN!! I will never ever recommend this location. I will never ever return! This happened two weeks ago today & Im already at my regular location getting them redone because they began breaking!! This is ridiculous.
Went with my daughters and while the services by their nail technicians were fine, I had a horrible experience with both the mani and the pedi. He cut my toe and didnt even acknowledge it, tho it was clearly bleeding and it subsequently ruined the polish on that toe. He didnt smooth any callouses (which, in retrospect, was perhaps a good thing) and was clearly distracted and in a hurry. The polish was applied so thickly it was a goopy mess and unevenly coated across most of my nails. Overall a miserable experience and by the end was just ready to leave. Tho we have been to their original salon many times with no problems, will never go back.
Love this place! They do a great job!
First and definitely the last time for me at Protein Nails. Language barrier aside, for me it was the absolute worst experience in a nail salon... paid $40 for a spotty, uneven, and just plain bad dip job. Save your cash ladies, by staying as far as possible from this place.
Very professional techniquesVery clean.
Jennifer is awesome sauce!
Love Denise and protein nails.
Would not go back. Poor service. Poor work.
I didnt listen to reviews and went here out of convenience. Its very close to my home, but Ill never go back. French manicure looked like my 5 year old son did it. Absolutely horrible.
Been to same person forever.. No issues :)
Fast and perfect nails..
Fabulous. Thanks Sandy.
My granddaughters got manicures and polish came off after 4 hours.
Always great service
Jennifer is the best!
Nice place.
Good
Great service
Love this place
