$45 of TRASH!!! This was awful and a complete waste of money. I should have went to great clips and I would have gotten a better cut. Extremely disappointed. Good fade(sarcasm)…horrible!!

I really wanted this to be 5 stars. Especially since this was my visit that was going to determine where I would get my haircut going forward. I attached a photo of what I was expecting based on the Menu listed on their website. I will say, my team member was very nice. My haircut, I would give it a 3 our of 5 itself. The menu listed a haircut of course, which I did receive. But it also listed ears, nose and eyebrow which I did not receive, nor was I even offered. Can I do this stuff on my own? Sure, I can. But when it is listed on the menu as included, do I have to ask for it? Hot towel. The menu says upon request. Understandable. But at $30, you would kind of think its included as well and a client shouldnt have to ask for it. The atmosphere was great. Was exactly what I was looking for in a new spot. But I was a little let down on the customer satisfaction side. Then, I get to checkout. It was cash only. Totally fine by me. But was not listed on their website as cash only and was not listed on the door as cash only. And to top it off, there was a Square credit card machine staring right at me at the checkout counter. They did have an ATM inside, which made it convenient to solve that problem. But I was pretty sure I looked at their site well enough to known that ahead of time to avoid a $3 ATM fee. I checked again when I got home and I did not see such notice. At least on their mobile site. Again, I really wanted to like this place, but that didnt happen on this visit.

My husband went here because his regular barber is on vacation. First of all, they are WAY OVERPRICED. Prices are not advertised so he had no idea how expensive it was until after he was finished. (A haircut and beard trim with his regular barber is $25, including a good tip. This place charged $50, not including tip, for a haircut and straight razor shave.) Secondly, the guy totally botched my husband’s beard. He did this weird fade thing that looks awful. My husband is going to shave down to a goatee and let his beard grow back out because it looks so bad. Obviously my husband won’t be going back and will NOT recommend this place to anyone.

You guys are good but you need to change your hours online. Its 6:30pm right now and online it says your open till 8pm and I just drove all the way out there and your doors are locked and its posted 9am-6pm on your door.

If youre looking for a reliable barber, Jay is not your man. I have scheduled appointments many times with Jay and he just doesnt show up to work that day. His team is left to deal with the angry customers because nobody knows where hes at and when hes going to be there.

After my appointment was cancelled due to my barber feeling ill. Jay was able to get me in for a cut. My barber did an excellent fade in which I was very happy. Our discussion led towards my military service in which Jay was very thoughtful in thanking me. It’s the little things that makes people come back. Good service and people. Thank you!

Had a haircut with jay a few weeks back. I had been growing out my hair for 3-4 months because of Covid. Requested a 1 all over and to leave the bangs/weight. A customer who I assumed was friends with the owners wouldn’t stop talking to jay during my haircut, was loud, obnoxious, and was drinking a beer in the shop Jay is normally a fantastic barber, but I feel the atmosphere of the shop at the time made him forget what I asked for. Ended up with a 1 all over and all my bangs cut off, must now wait 3 more months to grow it back and request the cut I wanted from the beginning.

Love this place! Take my step-son he actually has hair and he enjoys the entire experience every time!

I went in there for a simple buzz and I can’t absolutely no one was wearing a mask besides me. It was super loud and unprofessional in there. I get wanting a fun work environment but when you can even hear your customers it’s a little unnerving. And the dude that I had was kind of sloppy with me like he was rushing to get me done, he full on missed a patch of hair and left a pretty big cut on my neck with his clippers. I could do a better job at home.

Jay is an amazing barber! He is my sons favorite barber. He’s so good, it’s hard to get into him last minute. So we ended up having to go to the barber shop that we originally met Jay at (Matt’s Barber shop)... Never again, we had appointments, had to wait on the customers before us, but then get told in the middle of a hair cut by both barbers they didn’t have time to give the cuts they scheduled to receive... I the mother told both barbers this is why we normally go to Jays, he always has time to do what he’s being paid to do.... Not to mention he follows state law (regarding Covid-19) that requires everyone to wear mask, along with keeping the doors open to keep fresh air flowing in... Jay is 100% and is this only barber we will ever use, no matter how long we have to wait to get in, it’s worth the wait for sure!

Horrible first visit, Barber was 20 minutes late for my appointment because she was spending extra time on her boy toy during his cut and proceeded to talk about him to the fellow barber during my entire cut. Straight razor was just neck line not around ear or forehead or hard part. DO NOT recommend to anyone that expects anything more than a great clips style cut and a trashy environment!

They were doing great following regulations at the beginning of the lockdown, when they were featured on the news. Since then, they have taken down the plastic dividers, the employees are no longer wearing or requiring masks. Great place to go if you want Covid!

The barber shop is alright. The barbers do good haircuts.However, most barbers here are not wearing masks, talking too much, and one in particular, developed an attitude when it was insisted that she wears one. Barbers have close proximity to customers respiratory systems and mucous membranes. If they do not observe COVID-19 preventative measures, they would be endangering many peoples lives, including their own families.Hope they receive proper health education, and take it positively.

I had a phenomenal experience at Nomad Barbershop. I was tired of the same old sports clips experience and definitely wasnt going to a great clips. Ive been using a 1 clippers on my own hair for months now and wanted to start growing it back out but needed somebody else to cut for me. I was the first time customer and immediately impressed as soon as I walked in. Everybody is very friendly and having a lot of fun. They had Nerf guns for kids and TVs showing sports and news. Katie cut my hair and did a great job. I would definitely ask for her again and Im looking forward to coming back for my next haircut.

I want to start this review by saying we have gone to Nomads three times. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and still have to leave a one star review!! I saw on the news how they were implementing great options to keep their clients safe during COVID. So, he went for an appointment after they opened recently. Sadly, one out of three hair cuts for my husband was okay. I wish I could say the one after COVID, but it was the worse one!!! He said just trim it up, not too short. I know that making sure you cut to the nape of the neck is important and each persons is different, but this was WAY off the mark and not any where the hair cut that was expected!! I love their concept, but Nomads needs to hire barbers that listen to what the customer is wanting.

This place takes me back and Im only 25 years old. Ive never experienced a barbershop feel and this place offers it and their services are way to slick.Great prices, great atmosphere, the inside is so nice and the workers crack me up. Amber is who I go to every time. She meets my designs and requests EVERY time. They really know how to cut/shape hair and make you look your best.Highly recommend.

Fantastic vibe in this barbershop. Old-school feel with a heavy modern influence. . Great value for the money including cleaning up the edges with a straight razor. Slightly pricier than the chain mens hair salons, but well worth every penny. Cash only establishment, but they have an ATM inside if you forget. Make your appointment through their website, it is super easy.

Jay is the best barber in Indy! I drive an hour both ways to see him and completely worth it. My boys love him and the crew, he is great with kids. Shop is clean, professional, top of the line. Couldn’t recommend anyone or any barber shop any more.

I love this place! I am a northsider but drive all the way to Greenwood to get my haircut here. The staff is friendly (especially Bailey) and all very professional. Come here, and you will never want to go a chain barbershop ever again.

Don’t go to that new barber called zack or something like that. Smells like cheap cig and soo unprofessional, seems like no experience at all. Really disappointed.

This place was packed. If you have no patience to sit in a chair and receive the best haircut, shave, beard trim, or even a nice hot towel, then this establishment is NOT for you. Definitely a local barbershop with an upbeat attitude. They only like CASH right now, but have an ATM for those who never carry cash. Walk-ins are welcome, but I suggest scheduling an appointment online. Expect to have fun experience.

We have gone here several times for haircuts. They do an excellent job. However we went when they where excepting walk-ins. They did our oldest child’s hair cut, but left us sitting there for 45 mins with 2 children waiting to get them done. It they didn’t have time to do their hair cuts, that is fine. They should have told us and not left us sitting there for 45 mins. They blatantly ignored us.

Booked my husband an appointment for his birthday. Booked Chad the barber and they gave him someone else. Also, they advertise online a hot towel and ear, nose & eyebrow cut with a gentleman’s haircut which they did not do. Too expensive not to follow what they advertise online.
