Very wonderful community, best around Greenwood area. Accessible to all amenities near by shopping, food, school, hospital. Very Safe for families with kids. Management is very professional in all their work including tenant services, apartments etc. community is always very clean and neatly maintained. Special mention for on site manager Lanny, he is very helpful and friendly. Always there for any help needed with smile. Stayed here for 2 years with family including kid.

The policy not to rent to students is extremely discriminatory. You cannot assume all undergraduate students will be a nuisance to your community, and you should adequately fine and charge disruptive residents instead of disqualifying an entire group of people.

I lived at regency for 2 years while in school and it was the best experience. The whole staff is friendly, helpful, and all my service requests were attended to extremely quickly. For 6 months I was living here alone and still felt completely safe even walking in the parking lot at night. The pool is always clean and relatively quiet, and the staff hosts fun holiday events multiple times yearly. This is without a doubt the best apartment complex in Greenwood and I would have paid double the price to continue living here. Great experience!

Tried to rent a one bedroom apartment here, but they claim to “not rent to college students” even though other reviews say they lived here as students. It seems like discrimination to me.

Excellent place to be!! Very neat, clean, peaceful, safe and more than anything professionally managed by Doug and rest of Regency management. I have moved several destinations in the United States but this is remarkable place with advantages on location, cleanliness, kindness and above all professional management. May regency continue to shine and prosper in the years to come as No 1 neighborhood in the area.

I rode through looking at these nice cond/apartment homes after speaking with the nice man at the leasing office. I like the back apartments with the screened in balcony type porches. And the privacy fence. I am really considering relocating. Asap. I like these.

We moved to Regency from out of state. The staff is extremely kind and thoughtful. They have gone above and beyond with helping us and sharing their knowledge of the area and South Carolina. These apartments are by far the nicest in Greenwood. The location is great! If I had to complain about one thing it would be that the fire alarms were EXTREMELY sensitive. Which oh darn, the apartment was just being extremely safe! These apartments are also pet friendly and have multiple doggy poop stations located around the property which was very convenient. I cannot emphasis enough how the staff went above and beyond. They are very kind people!

I lived in Regency park apartment for 2 years and I have had a very pleasant experience making their apartment my home away from home. Doug Collins, Managing Partner is a real gentleman and was very helpful in providing me all necessary informations I needed for my move to NC. I cannot thank him and the entire team at Regency enough, for providing me a safe and clean place to stay. So, whoever is looking for a convenient and clean apartment in live in, either long term or short term, look no further. There is a lot of professional renters living here because of their neatly kept apartment complexes and proximity to everything. I will miss living here and thank you again for everything Regency !!

My wife and I are travel healthcare workers who lived at Regency Park for a few months over the winter. The facility was great. Clean, quiet and very friendly. Close to shopping but set back enough for a quiet time . Management was great to work with, we were very satisfied with our stay.

I’ve been living at regency park apartments 7 years now, I moved to Greenwood from Columbia SC and I must say it is the best place you can find in the Greenwood area. The units are up to date and very nice with a great floor plan for roommates. The grounds are kept to a high standard and I must say it’s nice not having to mow a lawn. Regency also has some great amenities, personal car wash, swimming pool, 24 hour work out room, volley ball, and a BBQ pit. However not only are the facilities nice there are plenty of things to do close by. We have a nice downtown area with live music venues and outdoor restaurants, Greenwood lake with state park for camping, and only an hour away from the mountains. The staff here at Regency are also a plus, they are very friendly and helpful and to me have become like family. On most holidays, they have some sort of gathering at the club house weather its catered or a pot luck and I love it either way because there is always good food. Overall I would recommend Regency Park to anyone considering the Greenwood area, you will not be able to find a nicer more well-rounded facility in the area.

I would highly recommend Regency Park Apartment Community to anyone looking to rent an apartment in Greenwood, SC.My sister has lived there for 12 years and I feel it is the safest place she can be in Greenwood. Regency Park has great security with good lighting in all the parking areas, and in the breezeways. They also have their own Courtesy Officer who lives on property and is available by phone at any time for any emergency regarding safety. He is employed by the Sheriff’s Department. Yearly he conducts a safety class for all residents. There are also security cameras installed at strategic points around the property. There is plenty of open parking where one can park a boat or an RV.The property is kept up well with flowers, bushes and trees. The grass is mowed on a regular basis. It is a very attractive place to live. The buildings are also kept up very well.Regency Park provides various types of apartments. Furnished corporate apartments are also available. Pets are allowed with approval of management. This is a non-smoking community which is great for my sister because she has an allergy to smoke.The owners live in Greenwood and are on the property most every day. In addition, there are three staff personnel, including a full time Facilities Manager, who live on the property and are always available. The staff is always courteous and happy to help in anyway they can to make living at Regency Park the most pleasant experience.If you are looking for an apartment, check out Regency Park. I’ve been living at Regency Park for over 10 years and I can tell that this is an excellent apartment complex. The quality of the apartments is outstanding, there are multiple options to fit any request in terms of space, cost, view, and facilities, the complex is conveniently located on By-pass 72, one of the two main roads of Greenwood, where you can easily find the city mall, all the new stores and major restaurants. However, even if you live very close to a major artery, that allows you to easily leave Greenwood in any direction, the location of Regency Park still guarantees a quiet and peaceful environment, with maximum respect for your privacy.The overall quality of Regency Park’s apartments is second only to their service: the staff is extremely kind, professional, and efficient; and it offers complete maintenance 24/7.I also enjoy other services, such as the recreational area, the pool, and the gym: all very well maintained and available at convenient times of the day.One of the things that I appreciate the most about this complex is the feeling of safety: there are surveillance cameras and a safety officer on site. Combined with the fact that they answer any call at any time of the day, this really provides a sense of confidence for a person who lives alone like me, both for my own security and for my properties when I’m not home.Finally, the staff at Regency Park always produces a remarkable effort to promote a sense of community among the residents: they organize several social events every year, either to celebrate holidays, such as Valentine’s Day or Thanksgiving, or to provide a valuable service to the people living here giving safety courses. I have lived at the Regency Park Apartment Community for 12 years and would rate it very high as the best place to live in Greenwood. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and each area has different types of bushes, flowers, trees. It definitely is not your “cookie cutter” type of apartment living. Safety is a high issue here. We have great parking area lighting and very good breezeway lighting with emergency lighting. Each building breezeway has its own fire horn and all units are inspected regularly for the sprinkler system, smoke detectors, and fire extinguisher (which is in every kitchen). We also have our very own Security Officer who lives on property and is always available by phone for any emergency pertaining to safety.Our Associate Manager and Facilities Manager live on property. I have lived in other apartments in another state and this is very unusual to have any one on staff living on the property. They are always willing to address any issues one may have regarding Regency Park. Maintenance is great. They respond quickly to any work order placed and usually are able to take care of it the day the problem is reported.As tenants, one of the nice extras we have is we are treated to a community functions at the clubhouse. Valentine’s Day is a brunch, Thanksgiving RP provides the meat and drinks, and the tenants provide the side dishes and desserts. At Christmas we are treated to a brunch. Also, we have a Christmas deck decorating contest with prizes provided by RP. None of these activities were ever provided in any other apartment area that I have lived in.There are stand alone garages should one want to rent one for their vehicle or storage, as well as small storage units are available which are attached to the garages. However, every apartment has a storage unit at the end of their deck. All units have washer/dryer hookups if you want your own in your apartment. If not, there is a washer/dryer area provided up at the clubhouse. Again, these are items that I never had the privilege of having in my prior apartment rentals.Overall, as I said in the beginning, it is the best place to live in Greenwood. It is very clean, the property and buildings are well kept, and above all, it is very safe. I would highly recommend Regency Park Apartments as the best place to live in Greenwood, SC!

We LOVE this place. .....We needed an apartment to live in while we built a house. We looked all over Greenwood. The quality of what we looked at around Greenwood was lacking. (Many of the OTHER locations we looked at were very dirty and not well kept. For example, the front door fell apart on one of the other places I looked at.) We had it narrowed down to two locations. We decided on Regency Apartments. We got a full tour before we moved in by the Associate Manager who is a super nice guy and my wife and I were sold right off the bat because the staff was so friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. The apartments we have seen are extremely clean. People who have visited the place have commented on how clean our apartments are. This was the cleanest apartments we have seen anywhere in Greenwood and we looked at a lot of them. Before we moved in they repainted all the walls and cleaned the carpet and the place looked near perfect when we moved in. The staff is one of the most professional staffs I have ever dealt with anywhere. I mean they are TOP NOTCH. The owner is a super nice guy. You can tell that he believes that if you are going to do something, you should do it right. Several folks I know when I mention where I am staying right now knew of him and have said VERY good things about the owner. They run a tight ship.The place has a great swimming pool that is kept immaculate ( I see the Facilities Manager cleaning it most mornings in passing), a small gym which allows use up until midnight with a nice size TV to watch in the room, a car wash on site, and it appears they have garages you can rent (we did not rent one so I am not familiar with all of the ins and outs of that). We do not like noise at night as my wife goes to bed around 10pm every night so we love that they have quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. When 10pm rolls around it is as quiet as can be. I am going to miss this when we leave. I have slept like a baby since I moved in. No barking dogs, no noise at all. I have not slept this good in years. The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure that we feel welcome, and that we have everything that we needed. The area around the club house where we go swimming is very well kept and very pretty. There is a person who comes and keeps huge flower arrangements around the pool fresh and beautiful. The place is so nice we feel more like we are on vacation. My kid loves swimming at the pool everyday. They also have a small playground for kids, a volleyball court with sand beside the pool. We feel very safe here. There are police officers who live here. Also, they have Breezeway Firewalls; one side of each breezeway has a firewall that extends throught the attic to the underside of the roof deck. All apartments have fire extinguishers under the kitchen sink, the apartments are equipped with smoke detectors. And an NFPR 13R Sprinkler system throughout the build with fire horns in each apartment. I am afraid I am not going to want to move once we get our next home built. I dont miss having to do yard work. I ramble but In short, it is a great place to live.

The apartments arent bad, but the HOA is obnoxious.
