I have been a patron for many, many years, but this last visit put a very sour taste, and I will never be back. Paying for services before the services have finished, telling me I should have told them I had a gift certificate, advertising that you have gel polish when you only have 10 colors, and to have the owner talking to a customer service rep about her t.v. at the front desk while I am waiting for her to check me out for the product I bought with the rest of my gift certificate. Not to mention that I heard plenty of conversation about an employee misrepresenting the company, and ignoring that I am there to check in. Trust me as a former salon educator and master stylist that also taught at this establishment years ago. Do not waste your time. It is really sad because I loved going to this place for a little relaxation.
I absolutely love Headquarters! Susan McAlister has been cutting and coloring my hair for 25 years. I now drive 7.5 hours to see Susan. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. You cannot go wrong choosing Headquarters for your salon needs.

Ummm can I give y’all 5,000 stars?!?! My daughter brought me here for a late Mother’s Day pedicure. It’s such a cute little spot and the employees were all so hospitable. Amber and Camille were great entertainment and our toes look fabulous! I got French polish and the lines are so delicate and precise just how I like it. The salt scrub that was used felt wonderful and we were told that’s its made in house with special blends of essential oils! My feet are so soft and I feel beautiful and refreshed!
I have admired my mothers hair since she started going to see Susan a number of years ago. Hands down, Susan has given her the best cuts she has ever had. Before today she had cut my hair once before, and not only did I love the cut, but she styled it perfectly. I have almost always had to run home and restyle my hair after someone else styled it - but not with Susan. When I started thinking about a dramatic change in style and color, I immediately decided Susan was the only person I trusted to help me with this. She was very professional and took time to discuss options before making the big CHOP! My hair had layers, but she took off about eight inches and did an awesome job with highlights. She gave me useful styling tips, and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. I LOVE my new do! Everyone in the salon is nice, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Instead of coloring my hair myself, I gave in and called Headquarters Day Spa to make an appointment with Alicia. I arrived for my first time and was very well pleased. Alicia was very professional and gave her honest opinion about my hair. She colored and trimmed it and I left feeling beautiful, something that hasnt happened in a while. If you want to feel welcomed, be surrounded by smiles and friendly people with amazing talents, you need to check out Headquarters Salon. Ill be back to see Alicia soon!
My husband purchased me a gift certificate at headquarters day spa for Christmas. Complete with a half hour massage, which by the way was to die for, HQ manicure, HQ pedicure, express facial along with chocolate covered strawberries & champagne. The best part about headquarters is that all stylist are trained in hair, skin & nails. Very professional and up to date on all the latest trends! Instead of driving to multiple places in to have multiple services done you can have everything done by ONE person!!! It really is a treat!! Ill definitely be back to headquarters for all my spa & salon services!
Very talented crew. I went in for a trim, but decided I wanted something different. I asked Meg to just do whatever inspired her, and the result was fantastic. Im very pleased and happy to have found my new hairdresser. Easy parking and very friendly staff. Kat at the front desk is awesome, as well.
I havent been here since Spring of 2016, but had a decent experience both times. I went for a haircut and the stylist was nice, but seemed a little irresponsible. She couldnt find many of the tools she was using. She was also 15 minutes late to my appointment. I went a few months later to get my nails done for my wedding and actually had the same employee. Once again, very pleasant but my nails were only about a 3/5. They served their purpose though as my wedding was the next day. My mom also had her nails done by a different employee and they were awesome! I like the atmosphere a lot, but I probably wouldnt go back.
I was a last minute appt. Very friendly and helpful, did an amazing job with my long hair coloring! Smelled wonderful inside.I posted this picture to show the wonderful color job and the cut for my long hair made spending the day in humid Charleston easy! (I have naturally wavy hair that normally puffs up quickly)
Went to Headquarters Day Spa today, I went in for a facial. I had never done this and didnt know what to expect. Glad I decided to go in what an excellent decision my skin looks so wonderful. The Spa was beautiful, and they have alot to offer. Cant wait to go back, to try the rest of the spa out the staff was so amazing!
I live 1 1/2 hours away and was in geeenville running errands to prepare for my upcoming vacation. I went in to check availability for a wax and hair appointment, and to purchase shampoo. The young man at the front desk helped me find a great shampoo and I got a free gift with my purchase! I met with a sweet lady named Amber about my services and she answered all of the questions I had about the service and although they didn’t have availablility that day, they made me feel SO comfortable that I decided the drive was worth it! I arrived for my appointment and there was no wait. The spa is beautiful and the color scheme of the spa relaxation area inspired me to want to redecorate my own living room! My services went smoothly and Amber was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable.
Absolutely the best Mani Pedi Ive ever gotten! The upstairs spa is so relaxing AND they do hair too! The staff was very kind and took interest in making sure I received the best from my service providers. Will definitely be back!

The owner, Susan, who is reknown as a Greenville stylist, has a true gift for being able to intuitively understand my curly hair texture, which is a rare gift, indeed!Ive always felt that the price, which is absolutely affordable, is worth every penny! Ive been going here since November and Alicia has been wonderful. I love my hair and I go every two weeks. Me and my husband also go for messages and we always feel relaxed . Great place to go for every part of the body.
I have very thick, unruly, and generally unmanageable hair, but Clay was not only able to tame it and make it look amazing, but he was happy to do so.Hes always willing to take extra time to make sure I will have the hairstyle and color I want; at other salons, Ive felt rushed by my hairstylist, but Clay never makes me feel rushed or like Im just another customer.Most recently, he suggested a custom color and a radical haircut, and at first I was nervous. By the end of my appointment, I was thrilled, and this is by far my favorite hairstyle/color ever.Clay is not only professional and amazing at his job, but hes also very concerned with what the customer wants, and he takes his time to ensure hes crossed every T and dotted every I.
I had an Efile pedicure here done by Camielle. The service was fantastic and the facility was very clean, staff was very friendly. Excellent job! Will definitely come back again!
My stylist Morgan at Headquarters continues to do an amazing job with my haircut, color and the occasional chemical peel and pedicure. She is an experienced hairdresser up on the latest hairstyles. I recommend calling Headquarters and ask for Morgan.
I did not realize headquarters day spa and salon has been in business for 37 years wow does it ever show. I bought my wife a spa package for Christmas and she cant say enough about it. This will make my life much easier for all occasions great gift idea.

Love, love, love Headquarters! I have never had anyone who understands color the way Susan does! I have been coming here for over 10 yrs and have never had a bad experience. In fact, I drive well over an hour just to see Susan! Her knowledge and expertise is unsurpassed and I am one of the pickiest people on the planet about my hair! I can go in with any hair issue and Susan always has a solution. She is always friendly, warm and welcoming and open to any ideas you bring to her! They also have excellent products, packages, massage services and mani pedis!!! Sitting is Susans chair is always my treat!! :)

Would never recommend these. They do not cater to the customer. They over charge. I cancelled and they were sending me a check in the mail. 6 days later still waiting. Then they try to use an excuse. Then tried to say they dont do refunds. This is an exception. No I cancelled 2 weeks in advance. YOU HAVE TO REFUND!!
Bought a gift certificate for my pregnant wife. Complications with the pregnancy arose. Last thing on our minds was a massage package purchased for her. By the time she recovered from the mishap, the certificate was expired by two weeks. Shop owner refused to honor the certificate despite the real life happenings that occurred in our life. Never ever ever go here.

They offer great packages catered to your needs and the products used are top of the line! Everyone is friendly and knowledgable and I promise you wont find a higher quality salon or spa in the upstate. After booking my last minute appointments for a surprise spa day for my daughter and I. I was slightly concerned after booking then reading reviews. Here is what I can say about the experience.From the first phone call the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, she went out of her way to arrange the times I needed and services. When we walked in the door we were greeted immediately and welcomed. We moved upstairs to the relaxation room to await our massage. The first thing we noticed was the wonderful calming smell. Our massages were wonderful (and I am picky) they spent time with us before asking about any problem areas or concerns we had. After, we were again seated in the relaxation room with water and awaited our pedicure and manicure. The girls were all so nice and friendly. We were even treated to ice cream during our pedi. We had such a great day together and talked about the bad reviews, we decided that maybe when people have a great experience that they do not run out thinking I am going to tell everyone how great that was, but when something goes wrong, watch out... I am guilty of that as well, so decided to write a positive review. The facility was clean, smelled heavenly and there is not really one bad thing I can think of to say. The prices were fair and the service was spot on. We would definitely return! Thanks so much ladies! You all helped me pull off a day of celebration that neither of us will ever forget! PS- I am not affiliated with the facility in any way and had never been here in the past! My biggest pet peeve is when service providers create false accounts and post positive reviews about their business... I can spot them and will say I have seen a few from this one as well. maybe in this case it was to reverse the competitions false negative reviews. However, no one will ever be spot on 100% of the time but even at 75% of the service we received it would be better that a few of the other spas in town.
DO NOT get your nails done here!!! No, I didn’t let my 7 year old cousin do my nails... I paid $40 for. $40?!?!?! For that???? They looked better before!!! I’M GETTING MARRIED Y’ALL!!! The girl was literally reading from an instruction sheet like she had never done a pedicure in her life! The tub in the chair was gross and dirty. The massager was broken. The floor was DISGUSTING. All in all I’m PISSED I paid for this.Oh! And she stood there the whole time I was paying. What was I supposed to say? “You suck”??? I’m not totally cruel.I guess if there’s ONE positive...now my callouses are a little better so my feel will look ok once I REPAINT MY TOES MYSELF!
I absolutely loved my pedicure. Amber and Camille. They pampered my feet, excellent customer service, and made me laugh and smile the whole time. The spa itself looks nice on the inside. There was a good number of Zoya colors to choose from and the ambience was relaxing. Im so glad we chose Headquaters for our first Greenville pedicure. Be sure to ask for Amber. She brought my tired toes back to life.

Headquarters Day Spa & Salon is a wonderful experience. It has everything you need to pamper yourself. They offer massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair cuts, and color. My favorite is their nail service. There is a tech there named Camielle who is exemplary in everything she does. They have a kushy massage chair and foot bath, and Camielle will get you comfy, give you a mimosa, and massage and file your feet until theyre super soft. Then she will paint them and the polish stays on for 3-4 weeks with no chips at all! Its magic. I highly recommend visiting Camielle for all your nail needs.
Susan always gives me a professional haircut, very efficient. And the spa was amazing I got a manicure pedicure and a massage and it was such a delight I set my wife back to get her hair colored with Susan and she’s never been so happy
I received a gift certificate for Christmas.Massage therapist was wonderful.Nail tech was very sweet & shy, did a lovely job with paint but was a bit rough with the grooming process.Facial was lacking and a little bizarre. Products seemed sub-par.The place itself is lacking in finishing details (bathroom lights you cant turn on, light switch in esthetician room had no plate and wires hanging out, etc. etc.).Business cards were again lacking in professionalism- everyone had a business card with a label & their name on it (an indication of high turnover?).I was not informed that they do not accept tip on a debit/CC when I set the appointment and I didnt have cash on me at the time of appointment- making for an awkward situation.I rated as good because the massage therapist did a wonderful job and my paint job was nice. If not for this, I would have rated it lower. They could work on their overall presentation from start to finish. Overall this place is aright but I wouldnt refer anyone to it.

I had a awesome experience here. I went in for a day at the spa, facial, massage, mani/pedi and shampoo and style. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly, offered me water, coffee, even champagne! They are now offering gel nails way better than acrylics and eFile pedicures (my feel have never been smoother)!
I asked for the best colorist for a bayalage on my long dark hair and they recommended the owner. I showed up to a tacky salon with a woman dressed like she was going to a back yard bbq in flip flops. I thought meh she’s the owner I’m sure it will be worth it. My hair when she was done (which was way too fast to be any good) looked like she put a bowl on my head and painted everything below the bowl. I found a stylist at glam salon that a friend highly recommended and she fixed my hair. She is also certified in bayalage and ombré which I am certain the headquarters owner is not! Headquarters was also pretty pricey for such a horrible job. I spent over $200.
I have been going to Headquarters Day Spa and Salon for almost 20 years. I have straight black hair which is not easy to cut, so I don’t trust just anyone. Back in the day, I colored my hair for fun, but now it is a necessity. The products used at Headquarters have never damaged my hair, in fact, my hair always feels better afterward. I get my hair colored every 5 weeks, not because the dye job isn’t good or the color doesn’t last, but because my gray hair grows extremely fast. I get my hair done by Susan. Susan is the owner of Headquarters, so what I pay is more than what other stylists in the salon charge. Expect this if you decide to book an appointment with her. Susan always asks and listens to my needs. Because she is a professional, she will tactfully let you know what will and will not work. If ambiance is important to you, Headquarters has you covered. I’m originally from Denver, Colorado and I remember thinking I was back in the big city when I first stepped in the door. Susan does all the décor in the Salon and it is a true reflection on the work she will do on your hair. Headquarters is located in downtown Greenville. Parking is not a worry as they have their own private lot. I always get a reminder call for my appointment. When I arrive, I am cheerfully greeted at the door and rarely have a long wait. While I’m thinking back on the years, I must admit that I have strayed in the past 20 years, “just to change things up”, but I always come back.

We went to this place because years 5 years ago I had the best experience. We went in positive there was 6 of us I booked the appointment from out of town I explained by email it was a bridal party and services required a price was given and payment was due prior to our arrival. When we arrived on time at 9:00 am services began and mimosas were given. Nice touch.... the staff was very nice but the services were sub par! We paid about with tip $100 per person gratuity included. What we received was not reflective of the price. We have all had mani pedi in our lives and never had the issues we had. I personally did not leave until 1:30 in the afternoon my rehearsal dinner was at 6 that evening I got dressed at 5 pm put my shoes on only to hear a sticky type sound when I was walking I took off my shoe to find the polish had smudged on all the toes. I have never ever in my life had that experience and have paid $20 for a pedi that lasted longer. I never give reviews like this but I was so furious that it was 4 out of the 6 of us who had issues the Bride was started at 9 am and she too 7 hours later had smudged toes!! Are you kidding me. I wrote my dissatisfaction to the establishment and expected to get some sort of refund but instead I received a weather report that it was the heat and humidity and we were welcome to come back to have things fixed. That was not possible as we had a wedding the next day and the time was not there. Looking for quality products and services in Greenville go anywhere else.What was to be a happy event with quality work was a disaster.

Unprofessional staff and subpar nail services. Had my nails done here for my wedding, thinking it would be a nice experience. It was not. My nails looked horrible for my wedding day. Will never return for any service.
I had an appointment for a massage, facial, and Brazilian Blowout treatment. Upon arrival, they were not ready for my appointment. The massage bed was not heated up. The therapist, while sweet, complained several times about the size of the room and about the lack of wiring for the speakers. As a result, a boom box is used, which stopped during both the facial and massage resulting in the therapist stopping treatment. The room was too small and I was bumped as the therapist moved around. The facial was in the same room. During this treatment, the esthetician said several times she didnt have a magnifying light. She wasnt able to offer extractions or provide any feedback onto my skin. After I was redressed, I walked out for my hair treatment to be told that the salon was shut down and they had to reschedule. The open sign was still on and the staff was in the salon eating when the esthetician brought me in to show me skin products. As the salon is the one who scheduled the timeframe, it was clear my visit was an issue as I was the only one there on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm. I booked as a first time client since Im new to Greenville and they were offering a discount. Even with the discount, I would not return.

Purchased a $180 pre-natal package for my pregnant wife to enjoy a massage, nails, pedicure, and chocolate covered strawberries and they failed to deliver on their end of the deal and managed to irritate my wife and myself in the process.She called to make sure they could do acrylic nails and the girl at the front desk assured her they could.When my wife arrived the massage was good but then she was told by the girl yah was doing her nails that she wasnt a certified nail tech and they dont do acryllic nails. She never got the chocolate covered strawberries but tipped 35 dollar none the less.10 minutes after my wife left the girl at the front desk called and said my wife need to turn around and pay a ten dollar balance because she forgot to charge my wife something extra. My wife asked multiple times if there was anything else she owed before she left and was told no. I called the girl at the front desk after hearing from my wife and explained that I had purchased this package for my wife to relax and that by hassling her for ten dollars after she left she was being unprofessional. The girl proceeded to call me Hun and become increasingly unprofessional. I ended the phone call and sent the owner an email. The owner called me back.I explained that I wanted a refund because since they didnt have someone there that could do nails as promised I would have to pay to have my wifes nails redone. The owner offered me $12.50, I explained that would not make me happy and ended the call.To sum it up this salon and day spa has the horrible customer service and takes peoples money when they know they cant perform the services. The owner is more concerned about 40 dollars than making something right.
Bad customer service bad experience. Had an appointment for my husband to get a massage, last minute they call to cancel as the massage therapist can’t make it. Had hair appointment for him as well only because we would already be there. When I said I wanted to just cancel it all they said I would get charged for not canceling within the allotted time... Never go back!!!

Worst experience everUpon entering this establishment, I see a lady at the front counter. I learn she is the manager, Kara. She is loud and rude to who I find out is the owner. They are arguing back and forth to each other and using profanity. Other guests were in this establishment and they didnt seem to care. I was scheduled for a massage and waited at the counter while they continued to argue.I went upstairs and was taken to a room that smelled of sweat and body odor. I asked the masseuse, Kesha, what the smell was and she gave me a funny look. She said she didnt smell anything. I should have left right then. I got undressed and she started the massage. I then learned the smell was coming from her.She give a good massage, but hard to relax when all you focus on is the nasty body smell of the masseuse.Couldnt leave fast enough
