The best service I’ve ever received while getting an oil change! I wish I remembered the guy name that helped me but he was definitely awesome and respectful! The oil change was done so fast it took no time! They really do treat you like royalty 😊 So glad I tried this place out! Definitely a long time customer now!!

My fiancé went to Take 5 on Battleground Ave to get an oil change this morning. Long story short after they thought they were finished they told him to start his car. When he started his car, oil started spraying everywhere from underneath his car. They yelled to shut the car off. They stated that they had put in a faulty oil filter and told him that they had to put in a new one and add more oil. Without draining all the oil out and starting over, there is no way to tell how much oil was actually lost. After leaving Take 5 my fiancé stopped at a gas station several miles down the road to double check the oil level which seemed higher than normal on the dip stick. Upon closer inspection he noticed oil had sprayed all over the back of his tire, brakes, and caliper. After the bad experience, he read other reviews and will not be returning to Take 5 as he has no confidence in the ability to do oils changes effectively!

They were fast professional and friendly. They will even top off my oil if I stop into the location. Great work guys!

By far the best I’ve been for a oil change. When you first pull they give you a fresh cold bottle of water. As they are changing your oil they explain EVERYTHING to you so that you understand what’s going on. The employees are polite and very respectful. They did all of this within 10 minutes. They are AWESOME 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND people to go here.

The customer service the guys provided was superb! Cameron was awesome and went above and beyond. Not only did he change my oil, but he checked my coolant, other filters, my tires, and cleaned my window. My boyfriend kept saying he wanted to tip him because his service was great but we didn’t know if we were allowed to. The other guy(black), we didn’t get his name but he offered us water because he saw that we had been waiting longer than intended but it was worth the wait. I will be returning to Take 5 again and will suggest them to friends and family.

The best staff of any oil/tire place Ive ever visited! My tech, Leon and the rest of the crew were such nice and cool folks! I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. I like the fact you dont even have to get out of your car! Thanks again guys!

Went in for an oil change yesterday (6/9/2021) and they were so sweet and paid attention to detail. Nice, friendly service and I will definitely be coming there now for my oil changes in the future. Place is amazing. Thoroughly checked everything from air filters to the tire pressure. Very informative and free water while you wait in your car. All you have to do is tell them what you need and they get you out fast.

They are not too fast. They too careless.They opened the air filter’s lid and did not care about it then. It was open as long as I visit a repair shop and then they found it open!It is too dirty as shown in pics because they left it open! Disappointing!Be more careful rather than fast!

I had an oil change at another Take 5 location about a month ago. I noticed my front right tire looked low and drove in and had them check the tire pressure and fill my tires to the correct air pressure. I also needed another quart of oil which they added for free. Very happy with the service at Take 5.

I waited in line to get my oil changed, when I got up there and they got under my car they pretty quickly came back out to tell me my “plug was too round” they said the grooves had been worn down so they couldn’t get it off and therefore couldn’t do my oil change. I had never been told this before, so I was a little confused. Since this was the only time I had to get my oil changed, and it NEEDED to be done I went down the road to JiffyLube and they were able to do it just fine, they even took a picture of my plug and showed me, it was not worn down to round by any means. JiffyLube told me they get people turned away from Take5 all the time. Very frustrating because it that waste of time made me late for an appointment.

I was in dire straits, I needed an oil change for a road trip and did not have time for dealership. I was a first time customer so it takes a little longer than normal. But I was in and out in less than 30 minutes in the next time it will be 5 minutes. Very professional crew of young men it was a team effort and they work together very well I will be back

After paying over $60 for an oil change my car started smoking just to realize I had NO coolant. But they marked it on the paper that it was safe level.

Fast & friendly! They told me all the options and showed me my air filter and topped the fluids. I will definitely be coming back again.

Third time in a row coming to this Take 5. Cameron and Kade were quick and professional. This will be my “go to” for service.

So I received a oil change on Aug 27th September 4th my engine locked up. Due to lack of oil; I 1st heard the knocking 10 mins before I cut off and I made my way to the another oil change company. They DID NOT service my car because it was Take 5 Oil Change fault but when I showed them my oil level it was very low. I jacked my car up and I looked under the car along with another staff member to see if I had any leaks and I didn’t have any at all. No spraying anywhere or leakage. With that being said I will be having a serious talk with someone Monday morning. I already had to miss 4 days of work due to this company putting me on the back burner because the assistant manager “didn’t feel like it and want to go home” then has the audacity to tell me “I may get to it on Tuesday or Wednesday” I do not like the fact I was blown off and I will be having this handled Monday on Sept 6th regardless if it’s a holiday. You offer good service so either you’re going to give it or leave the company. Since my Engine was destroyed I expect all damages to be paid for and worked on since this company can not do what they are suppose to do. I’m disappointed and the staff need to do better.

Will not go to this location again! I have been using this location for years without incident until today. I went in because my oil light was on and I just had an oil change at another franchise few weeks ago. They checked my levels and said my oil was fine. I asked could they reset the oil light, The tech replied no he could not because thats my car telling me I need an oil change. I showed him my sticker where Im good for another 6K+ miles. He insisted that doesnt mean anything. I asked again.. So you are saying you cant turn off the oil light? He said I can do it ... I wont do it. Poor display of mechanical knowledge, professionalism, and attitude. I had to drive 15 minutes to the other Take 5 shop for them to tell me how unprofessional I was treated. They showed me in one minute how to reset the oil light. Will not bring my cars back here again

The crew was awesome!!! They were very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tony the new manager was very nice and proficient. He and his crew worked well together and was very time efficent!! It was my first time there but I will be back!!

Normally a great experience here. But not today. Today had three kids who did a lot of standing around. Where was the adult? A shame because I usually give this place five stars. But it shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get an oil change here.

This was my second oil change Ive had since Ive had my car and the overall service wasnt bad but I had a dipstick in my engine before I got there and the guy told me that I didnt have one so between the two trips there somebody either lost or broke it and didnt say anything about it. Now Ive gotta pay for something that wasnt my fault. The oil change itself is a bit too 3xpensive for mistakes like that too happen.

The technicians were professional and courteous.The reason I gave only 2 stars is because this was the 3rd time I had brought my wife’s Chevy Spark to get the oil changed. Each time (including the most recent visit) I was told that they did not have the filter that my car required.Again—the personnel were apologetic and professional. However, I don’t understand how I could visit 3 times—over a period of 3 weeks—and be told “We don’t have the filter you need.”

I’ve been to so many take 5 locations and this has definitely been my best experience! Very friendly, quick and professional.

These guys are top notch-this location specifically. I purposely drive past the location closest to my house to use these guys. They are always super nice and professional. Easy in and out... not the cheapest but you pay the convienence. FYI this location won’t let you use coupons on a standard oil change. They only let you use it on an upgraded oil service.

Pros - Ive never had any issues. Very fast and efficient. Friendly service.Cons - very expensive. They will try to sell you an air filter every time.If you are in a hurry this is a great place. Check online they usually have coupons.

I came in from out of town and went here as suggested by a family member. After payment, I was made aware that the technicians were unable to reattach my skid plate and suggested I go to a Honda dealership to get it reattached. I have never had this issue before. Hoping to not make a fuss, I agreed and continued with the service. Even further, the technicians asked me to turn on my car so that they could recalibrate my oil level through my car. When it was time to leave, my car had DIED and then needed to be jumped by an employee. After visiting Honda directly after my visit to get my oil change, they shared that it costs $125 to get my skid plate reattached. What should have been a normal oil change payment, ended in me spending money on an oil change, skid plate reattachment and the extra hours it took me to drive to the respective locations for service. Disappointed in the level of service and will definitely not return in the future.

Quick in and out, checked and topped off fluids and air pressure in tires, oil top off and tire pressure for free for life of the oil change! Friendly and knowledgeable.

Great experience here. The staff was friendly, efficient, and respectful. They took what could be an impersonal experience at just any drive through oil change and made it wonderful. The staff had smiles on their face the whole time, chatted with everyone in their cars, and even offered waters to customers waiting in line. They ran out of the synthetic oil I needed and profusely apologized, then offered the higher quality oil for the same price without my asking! These guys are A++ and I recommend everyone gets their oil changed here. They have an incredible value and a 3000 mile top off program to keep your car in peak condition. Kind of expensive but really convenient

Last time I went to this Take 5 Oil location, I had a terrible experience with Shop Manager Gus. My transmission fluid was drained out of my Subaru when I was receiving an oil change. Gus was not very helpful at first and did not believe that they had caused issue to my transmission. I had to circle back to the shop 3 times before he would really look at the issue.That was NOT my experience yesterday.The shop seems in better shape, the safety checks were reassuring and John was very pleasant and honored the free service that Gus had given me. I was very happy that John introduced himself and he seemed very collected and happy with his crew. I have been a customer for years and will continue to use this location.

I showed up at 9:30 on a Saturday morning and was seen immediately. The staff were all very helpful and worked efficiently! Very happy it didn’t take hours.

A bit on the pricey side but Ive always had great service. Jaiden and John just took care of me oil and wipers recently and were professional and fun and I would highly recommend them.

Battery was dead and car would not start after oil change. Took them 1.5 hours of sitting there to get jumper cables and jump my car. They kept telling me it was my battery. I went to advance auto parts and had that tested. It is not my car. They did something incorrectly. Called customer service and they could not provide me with district manager number or name. Will not use them again.

I’ve always gone to take 5, it’s really nice not to have to get out of my car, especially with children. They have great service, thorough but quick and very friendly employees! The last time i went a man came up and was causing a scene and threatening the employees, the manager handled it very responsibly and even offered us a free oil change for the inconvenience. I will definitely always go here!

Go at your own risk. Went for a oil change 5 minutes is a joke. Try 45 minutes. I could not leave they have you blocked in. Then they broke my oil dip stick and try to say it was already broke. I had just replaced it. Smh... the battleground location horrible. Then they look at you like you did something wrong. First and last time at this location.

Stopped here before I left for Georgia and paid $130 for an oil change... three days later I check and my oil and it was only showing a 1/16 of an inch on the stick... went to the closest oil changing place and they told me I was around 3 quarts low and they must not have filled me up right because there were no leaks... I had them top me off before coming back to NC... my truck takes 6 Quarts... I took my truck back to the shop and they would not give me a refund and were not professional.

Can’t believe a place where they specialize in oil changes can’t even do that right. I went there to get a oil change and they showed me the dip stick and the oil looked low very close to the bottom hash mark on the dip stick. They didn’t add enough oil in my car. Checked it again at my house and it’s still at the low mark. Took them a long time to even get the oil filter out. They told me to come by and they would check out the level again. The thing is I don’t have time to go back I live out in the country. Now I have to buy more oil and spend more money on something they should of done right.

Had my boyfriend come in for an oil change, they broke off my dip stick and then filled the car with oil. When I called to inquire why my vehicle was now leaking oil over the engine, I spoke with the manger John who was very rude and told me that the dipstick was already broken. The vehicle did not leak oil before the service was performed and they have been the only company to do oil changes on the vehicle since I purchased. It was after the dipstick was pulled that the John stated the car started to leak oil. He had also struggled to locate the dipstick to begin with. After asking what they would be doing to repair the damage they called he stated he did not cause it and that I could speak with his manager, who at first he refused to give the name of and then refused to give any contact information to the corporate office for or even a website. I will no longer be using Take 5 for any of my vehicles and I recommend that every one does the sameI have tried contacting this phone number multiple times with no luck.The vehicle did make it to the mechanic the manager John had asked us to bring it to where we were told it was no longer safe to drive and that it would take days to fix. This is a daily driven vehicle for us and a major inconvenience. I now have to leave work and loose even more money to go pick up my boyfriend who is now stranded because of Take 5s damage to my vehicle.

The gentleman that was doing my oil change was very kind and respectful. I gave them 4 stars because the gentleman that appeared to be the manager had a nasty attitude. Rolling his eyes/ huffing and puffing as we pulled up. He seemed agitated and as if he was ready to go. I understand we all have our days but you have to fake the funk until you have customers out of your sight ! Nevertheless, I may return if I don’t have to have any interactions with him!

Horrible service! TAKE FIVE FIVES... or 60 minutes! I literally watched as the people who work here try to fight some guy who was upset about his oil leaking out after an oil change. He said they hung up on him, and drove over upset. They have no clue how to handle an upset customer. They put people in danger and I was in there way longer than FIVE minutes.

Would not bring your vehicle to this place at all!!!!! Try to upsell on oil requirements by lieing to you.... I am a Senior Master Tech, and have worked with Ford for over 20 years, Im here in town to visit and needed an Oil change, i had to argue with them over what oil I wanted and used in my vehicle and not the cheap oil change. I know these guys are based on upless but come on guys LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, these guys couldnt even take the drain plug out to drain the oil!!!! Very Sad

My first visit was today. While I thought their synthetic was a bit pricey (I chose to go with the regular at $45.89 w/tax), everyone was really kind and I got out of there in 15 minutes, maybe even less, and I didn’t have to get out of my car. I would have given the service 5 stars, but the person who was asking questions/checking me out wasn’t wearing a mask (I was—I always have masks with me.) Maybe just something to keep in mind; I don’t expect that every employee will wear one, especially those doing the oil change service, but I know that I (and other vulnerable customers) would have felt a lot better if the guys had a mask they can put on just when they’re checking out customers.

Great job and VERY Professional young men that worked on my car. Prices are just a tad Bit more expensive than most standard oil changes however, the job is done in 20 minits or less and you sit in your car the entire time. WELL WORTH IT!

Place is very unprofessional they just take their sweet time talking about their personal life.. they stripped my oil plug, brought the car back to inform them that they done it and wouldn’t take credit and blah blah.. I get it you are human, but if I tell you.. you are the last person to touch my car, then don’t question it..

Didnt have the oil I needed

This was my first time visiting Take 5 and I had a great experience. I love that I didn’t have to get out of my car and the service was quick and efficient. Gus and Dourean were very professional and suggested the right things I needed for my car without being pushy. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I always get my oil changed here. Usually I don’t have problems but today I’m not sure who helped me but he was very rude. I will not be coming back if he’s here. I just feel as if you don’t want to work at a certain place then you shouldn’t. If I could give 0 stars then I definitely would.

Pretty disappointed. I usually do my own service work but was in a big hurry this time. It took almost an hour for an oil change. They said they were training a new technician and I kept hearing him talk to the people above saying the trouble he was having and the people above having to tell him what to do. Then he needed more help so others had to go down to help. I kept hearing him say it doesn’t fit and the others telling him yes it does.

First time going to Take 5. Was a little nervous trying a new place bc I’m a loyal customer somewhere else. I was pleased with the high reviews before arriving. I was met with a free bottled water and snacks. It was nice not having to get myself and four kids out of the van. Staff was professional, nice and very informative. No pressure or obligation feelings. I will definitely go back!

All of the folks working in the take five facility were very professional and did a great job of communicating the status as I process through my oil change. I have a diesel engine and they had the products available to service me without having to come back at a later time. I greatly appreciated that!

The service here was excellent. I believe the person helping me was Steven/Stephen* (loads of beautiful locs on his head) and he offered great information, taught me how to reset and know the quality of a few pieces of my vehicle and was very pleasant and prompt when handling me and his work. Everyone was about their job and making the consumer happy, but Steven/Stephen* was beyond excellent.He deserves more pay and attention.Will be returning for my next oil change.

The heavy set black guy tried to sneak a female customer ahead of me when I was next in line. The other employees were very professional. I almost left but I really needed the oil change. If I decide to use again and if I see the guy that tried to sneak customer ahead of me, I will not use again. Seems like you have a great staff with one bad apple.

Man, I love this place. Super friendly and reliable. When you pull up, you’re greeted with a bottle of water and even without an appointment, the wait times are reasonable. It’s also really nice to never have to leave your vehicle so you can kill time on your phone, read a book, or listen to music. Will continue to come back!

Been going there in the past three years but its getting worse and dont know what happened to the good staff, now they all look like ex-convicts. They must show an attitude when you refuse to replace the air filter and wiper blades. No matter what you say they have to say something they think its smart. No thank you, but I can replace my own air filter for $12
