This salons owner is highly unprofessional. If I could leave a zero star review I WOULD. They do not know how to do anything except blonde highlights. If you have darker hair I do not recommend seeing them.

Long story short, I needed to find a salon to walk me through my first experience with extensions. I selected Blow inc and gave them a call based on reviews. I was not disappointed! Service was incredible! I set up a consultation with Lauren and she was so sweet, informative, and thorough. It took no time at all to match my hair to the color we needed to order! The hair came super quick, and within a week I had them in. Lauren was fast, and they look AMAZING. I will never go back to not using extensions. I have so much confidence now. The extensions look completely natural, and are super easy to maintain. If you’re on the fence about getting extensions, I highly recommend!

I have been going to this salon for many years and I have never been let down.

They will say they can do something and then blame your hair when they can’t. I wanted to go blonde, they know I had previously dyed my hair black a year prior and they still assured me that they could make me blonde with a balayage. Well, $440 later, I walk out with orange hair. They tell me to go back in a few months once I give my hair time to heal. I contact them a few months later and now they’re saying it’s impossible for me to have a blonde balayage. Waste of time and money. Even got $100 worth of product they recommended. So disappointed.

I was in NC visiting for the holidays and needed a haircut as my usual stylist out of state was only taking limited appointments due to the pandemic and I was unable to get in before my trip. The stylist at the salon I was placed with was Michael Minichello. Michael took the time to discuss my previous cut, what I have planned with regards to growing my hair out and offer suggestions on how to best accomplish this while ensuring a fantastic cut! Michael explained the process he was doing with cutting the hair wet with a blunt cut, blow drying and then cutting the dry hair at an angle to make sure it fell perfectly and fixed the layers that had been growing out. Michael explained what he was doing with the flat iron with adding curls. Whenever I am back in the city I will definitely see if Michael has availability and have him as my go to guy out of state. If you are looking for a fantastic salon I highly recommend Blow Inc. If you are in the market for a great hair stylist see Michael Minichello - your hair will thank you!

By far the best salon experience I’ve had to date. Mikey Minichello is as professional as he is passionate about what he does. I’m a busy psychiatric MA, I don’t always think ahead but that was no problem. I called in 2 hours before they were going to close and they fit me in despite this. Micheal listened and took in my ideas and really gave me what I wanted and MORE. He was charming and sweet and was very gentle! If I had been a tender-headed child I wouldn’t have had a problem lol! He was very detailed and worked hard to achieve the look I wanted. I have 3B curls and they have all types of patterns and craziness going on. He was knowledgeable and knew exactly how to work with my curls, and us curly girls know how important that is. I 10/10 would recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back for the amazing services and even better prices.

Today was my 1st experience at Blow & I was very impressed. The atmosphere is very nice & the staff is friendly. Brandi did a Keratin treatment on my very thick & curly hair & she truly exceeded my expectations! Brandi is personable, down to earth & professional all at once. Ever since our conversation on the phone, Brandi told me step by step what she was going to do to my hair so she knew it was what I wanted. She educated me on everything I needed to know, took her time, & was still able to cut down the expected timeframe by an hour! She’s truly a sweetheart with a lot of talent. So grateful I went with this hair salon! Well worth the money & I can’t wait to go back!!

I was a little hesitant to go to a salon that didnt specialize in ethnic hair but I was totally satisfied with the end results. My stylist Hannah listened to my hair nightmare intently and understood exactly what I was trying to achieve. She color corrected my hair and cut off some of the damaged parts and it turned out beautifully. She informed me that I still had damaged hair and that she was going to cut off more as I continue to come back that way I didnt lose my length like I had expressed to her I didnt want to happen. I really appreciated that because I wasnt ready to part with my hair just yet. The only negative experience I had was the combing out part, but it was partially my fault because I should have spoken up. She did not comb from the ends of my hair up but instead started at the root, and for ethnic hair, you really can not do that or you will put the hair out, not to mention it hurts! But like I said I should have stopped her so I take some responsibility for that. Overall though, the salon was beautiful, the owner John was tremendously nice and Hannah did a fabulous job with what I brought to the table (a hot mess!!) LOL Thank you Hannah, I will be coming back to see you!!05/23/17 - update. After wrapping my hair that night I woke up to a beautiful cut and color. The pics did not do it any justice!! The salon is great about booking, reminders, and if the stylist is running a few behind, they call to give you a heads up so that youre not just sitting on their couch. The salon is comfortable and welcoming, and theres wine if you need it. Lauren & Blow Inc has been one of the best parts of moving to Greensboro!

Because a Hair Salon that I had been going to since 20 years was not able to fit me in for a short notice hair appointment that I needed for a photo-shoot..I looked up different hair salons up in are triad area and stumbled upon the Blow hair-salons that had really good reviews .When I called I was reluctant to speak to Brandy and when I explained my dilemma and short notice ...she made her self available even though she was booked ...I cant tell you how pleased I was with my haircut and color.She is amazingly skilled and it took her no time I sure how she managed that d but I have not had such a good hair style outcome in a long long time ...🥰 true story

Went there for the first time. John and his staff were amazing. My color and cut by John are superb. John and his staff get it right. Its the little touches. Not only being offered a beverage, but being offered refills. Not only getting a great shampoo, but a wonderful scalp massage as well. Oh, and they even have a customer loyalty program. What??!!! I went in on 3/10/17 for the first time. I haven’t been in a salon in 10 years, hadn’t cut my hair in 10 years. I was booked with the wonderful Tori, she was awesome, so relaxed, and knowledgeable. She cut over 12 1/2 inches off my hair. She was amazing, made me feel so comfortable and confident with a new look. The whole staff was wonderful, the owner spoke to every person who came through the door, the whole staff was wonderful and made me and my sister feel welcomed. She is great at getting a sense of your personality, and using that along with your face shape and coloring to come up with a haircut and color that fits you best. For me, she even took my job into account (I have to look professional), along with the fact that I wanted something colorful, and created the most amazing hairstyle where I get the best of both worlds! She is honest (shell tell you if something just wouldnt look good on you), and great to talk to. Pepper really is an artist when it comes to hair! Ill never go anywhere else.

She took the time to listen to my ideas and look over pictures with me. She explained her plan to me and executed the design! So I came in last minute and Brandi was the hair stylist stuck with me. It was one of those days where if I hadn’t been lucky enough to see a professional stylist, I would have taken a buzzer to my own head. Luckily, Brandi didn’t let that happen. Despite being busy and having me thrown on her, she made me feel welcomed and managed to figure out what to do with my hair; because aside from “chop it the hell off”, I had zero insight to give her. The shop is cool and the staff is very friendly! John Bailey is FABULOUS! They take their time and you dont feel like youre being rushed. You get a relaxing scalp massage with your wash. I did a cut, color, and style. Color can be scary especially when you are doing red, but John nailed my color!!!! Just the right blend of my natural color and red in all the right places! About six weeks ago, I got an awesome review from a special friend for Blow Inc. She met her Mom and I there. That was the day my life changed. Pepper listened to my needs (and sorrows). It was an instant bond. She knew I was ready to like myself again. She cut off my long, mistreated hair and gave me a new do that I absolutely loved. She suggested to add a little color to my world...PURPLE. I was shocked. Purple is the official ribbon color for The Lupus Foundation. Pepper had no clue how important the suggestion was. Of all colors, she picked the right one. Today I returned to Blow Inc for color tuch up and even shorter hair. I am beyond ecstatic. She made me feel loved, important and beautiful. Most of all, she reminded me that I am a survivor... I have Lupus, but it doesnt have me. I put makeup on now, and complete the look with a smile...everyday. Had a WONDERFUL experience here. Called in on a recommendation from a friend the first time, and had a great haircut with Cassie. I decided to get balayage with her a few months later, and I am obsessed with the cut and color! They make you feel right at home, and they are true professionals. Have gotten tons of compliments on my color since then, and plan to go back to see Cassie before my engagement party and wedding this year :)

The was they handled business was awful! I’ve been serving in the military for 3 years, and I finally got to see my family after a long year of being deployed. When I got home to Greensboro, my mom wanted to get my hair done. I made a last minute appointment at blow, for a blowout service. When the stylist was doing my hair, she was pulling and tugging my hair. You could tell she didn’t have good brushes because when she would get to the ends of my hair, it would get even more tangled and frayed. After looking in the mirror after awhile I realized that it looked like a pretty sorry blowout. I got up out the seat half way through the blowout, because it wasn’t what I asked for, or what was wanting. When the owner came up to talk to me I explained what happened, and he caught a snippy attitude with me and told me I would still have to end up paying. Now That I payed. I’m left with half wet half dry hair, $30 of my hard earned money through working for the military, a headache, and dissatisfaction. If I could give no stars I would. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

It has taken me almost a week to decide whether to review or not. I’m not quite sure what star review I should even give. I want to be totally candid, but am having a hard time because my stylist and all the people at Blow are so amazing and kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming and everyone is very relaxed. It feels like a great place to be. My stylist was a really amazing person, so nice and really tried to make sure I was happy. That being said, I really have to be honest about what happened. So first, my color wasn’t correct the first time, which was ok and she offered to correct it and she did. The issue was as I was leaving, the owner went to the computer to make a few “corrections” to my bill. I was charged for the second color process, which I understand may be common. But I was then also charged a whopping $45.... for having THICK HAIR. By the owner, not my stylist. I’m sorry, but I can’t let that go. When you advertise a price for a haircut or color or whatever it is, that should be the price no matter the thickness. Or you should at least be warned. I spent $255 total. That’s more than I have ever had to spend. And unfortunately, after straightening my hair a few days later, I realized my haircut contained “holes,” giving the appearance of a shelf on the side of my head and a mullet in the back. Had to spend another $55 to fix elsewhere. I really wanted to love my experience here but feel too uneasy to go back after giving it a lot of thought. I don’t want to be charged for god knows what at the end of my day. Again, such nice people. But money seems to be too important.

I have been going to see Cassie for about 5 years now. I love the way she knows what to do with my hair when i dont even know. The entire shop treats you like family. Love each one of you. See you soon Cassie.

After reading many great reviews about Blow, I decided to give it a try. After requesting an appointment, I received a quick response. With my experience, and the cost of $205, I wasnt very impressed. This was the most expensive hair color I have EVER gotten, and the WORST outcome Ive ever had!1. I came in request bayalage...nothing like what I left with.2. My hair color hardly changed from what I originally came in with.3. My hair was carelessly treated and overly charged.😡😡😡😡I will NOT return. Beware before you allow them to take your money and you leave looking the way that I do!

I was in desperate need of a haircut and I decided to give this salon a try. I was a bit hesitant about going to a new salon but I saw all the raving reviews and decided to give it a chance. I felt very welcomed at the salon and the staff all were extremely accommodating. However I felt that my stylist was very unsure/ inexperienced about cutting hair. This made me feel extremely uneasy as the owner had to keep walking over to her to tell her how to do things the correct way. I felt like I almost had to direct the stylist what to do because she had no idea. After the stylist finished, the owner walked over and had to completely fix my haircut and teach her the correct way to do it. I felt as if I were getting my haircut at a beauty school by a student with her teacher helping her and teaching her the steps the whole way through. I am very appreciative as the fantastic owner went above and beyond to make sure that I walked out of the salon happy. However I feel very upset that spent 55 dollars on a haircut that I feel was such a stressful event. I was really looking forward to having a nice relaxing evening at the salon but I really felt like I was a mannequin head in a beginners cosmotology course...

I have waited several days to decide if I should post a review... I decided I should so that if youre looking for a new salon, you can see all experiences. I am a blonde. I called in and asked about a color and cut. I told them I would need a full color by highlight, because I have had my color done and Im never happy with a partial high light. She told me it would be a partial because I have some color already in my hair. I told her I need a lot of foils. I also told them on the phone that I would like an ash toner, to not only take out the brassy look, but also brighten my blonde, with more white in it. I was quoted between $100-$155. When I got to blow, it was a nice space and everyone was friendly. I liked that they brought in local jewelry and accessories. Really cute stuff. I shared photos of me that I wanted her to do the color like. However, It didnt turn out that way. I am not super happy with the color, and can hardly tell a difference. (Ill include a before and after that I took in my car outside salon). My roots are dark and its still very golden. The cut is okay, it looks cleaned up... but I didnt leave feeling sassy or like I got what I asked for. (I asked for a particular type of cut). So, in the end, I was charged $175 (over what I was quoted). I inquired and was told they added a glaze for an extra $25. I tried a new salon because I couldnt keep up a $250 cut and color from my salon downtown ... but in the end, if I were to spend $175 and not be happy I guess I should have spent more and got something great. Maybe the other stylists are better.

I live in Cary, NC so Blow inc is over an hour away from me and it’s worth the drive. My daughter lives in Greensboro and has been going to Blow, inc for the past year and has been so happy with her cuts and color jobs and looks great so I decided to go to Greensboro for a girls day with my daughter and get my hair cut and colored while I was there. I could not be more pleased with my results! Tori was personable, pleasant and very knowledgeable. She really listened to what I wanted and she delivered! Tori is my new stylist and I already made my next appointment with her in April. Thanks Tori!

Pepper has been doing my hair for almost a year now and I love my hair every time. I can trust her to do what she thinks will look good and Im never disappointed! She is a wonderful person and a great stylist. Will of course be going back to her!

I absolutely love Blow Inc! Talk about exceeding expectations :) my hairstylist Pepper is the bomb! She gets to know the clients before discussing hair and bases the hairstyle on the customers personality. I couldnt recommend a funner yet professional hairstylist like Pepper 💛

John is AMAZING with color and you will love your hair! I have never had a bad experience at the salon and I feel like a million bucks every time I leave after I have had my hair done. I moved here from Los Angeles and my biggest concern was finding a hairdresser that could do color and stay current with todays trends. John Bailey and his staff go above and beyond with their service, cut and color. You have to try this salon!

Love getting my hair done at Blow by Cassie! The entire staff is great. Plus, while I wait for my hair to process, I can shop for jewelry or a new purse. A fantastic way to spend the morning or afternoon while getting beautiful!

I went to a hair salon where the lady did a horrible job on my hair... I felt so desperate because I hated my hair. Today I went to Blow Inc salon and Tori did a fantastic job. She saved my life, she is the best. I will definitely go back. I have always wanted to find a good hair salon and i think I found it.

John Bailey is a master. His passion for his trade and his business and it is apparent that it seems to be contagious with the staff.
