I lived at one of the houses managed by them on N westgate ave from 2012 to 2016 and had too many bad experiences with the property itself due to being old and not meeting the codes requested by the city ( plumbing issues caused mold at one of the bathrooms inner wall and over flow at the laundry area) and their ways to fix it was so cheap and inconvenient that made it happens again, Hvac unit ( AC and heat ) stopped working too many times and never replaced it, they will get us fans in the summer or heater in the winter when it stoped till they can fix it, also the maintenance people were unprofessional they will show up with no appointments or calls and knock on the door and if you don’t respond they will get to the house while we either sleeping or at the shower and had to complain to the office about that at least 2 times and still kept happening, and last it was the fire happened in the attic (5 am )while we were sleeping due to misfire in wiring and fire department came and help contain the smoke, when the city inspector came after to see the damage and examine the house he condemned it due to many things and wouldn’t allow them to rent it till they fix it . we ended up moving to a different neighborhood after getting tired of waiting for 2 month to know what’s going to happen . The way they handled the whole situation was unprofessional, no answers about how long it will take to find us a replacement home, they seemed like didn’t care about the safety of me and my family especially we mentioned that electrical problems before but as usual they find the cheapest way to fix it.this is all happened while kids were at school and me and my wife working so we wanted to stay around that area near from our works and kids school and if I didn’t have the funds to stay at hotel for 2 month and then rent another home We would probably ended up in the street .
I have been living here for about six months it’s a quiet nice neighborhood very nice workers in office and maintenance people I enjoy it here

My water heater leaked and Maintenance came and replaced my water heater in less than 2 hours. I love how responsive Autumn Trace is. Every Maintenance issue I have had has been resolved in a day every time. So happy that I chose to move here.
This was a nice place in the middle of a... Less nice area. The location itself was peaceful and the neighbors mostly very friendly. The font desk ladies were always polite and tried to be helpful and sweet. Maintenance was prompt with arrival and often fixed the issue. My three main complaints (one small, one medium and one much bigger for me) are that the air filter was not the correct size and it was replaced with the wrong size. The dumpster area made me feel unsafe, especially at night(of course). Biggest of all for me, was the mold. The main bathroom shower had mold (I cleaned it regularly) and the spare bathroom (barely used, often cleaned) had mold in/around the toilet. I called and instead of cleaning out the moldy caulk, they just put caulk over it and the mold continued to grow eventually in both toilets and both sinks no matter what I did.Just for informations sake, older building made cooling and heating costs high, but the units works VERY WELL, could get the apartment as hot or as cold as I desired.

I am a new tenant reading reviews to determine if this property is safe environment, cares & have concerns about new as well as old tenants & where Id prefer to reside. I noticed the same names giving excellent review rating without any reasoning to justify review. How do one know if these are real tenants or management falsifying to offset bad reviews. I am very concerned as to how management treats & respond to issues, concerns, maintenance, loud noise or tenants complaints.
Let me start off by saying I love this this place!!! Its a great environment and management is second to none. Dee has been extremely helpful whenever I needed assistance and I personally recommend this place to those in need.
Lived here from April 2017- April 2018. Front office and maintenance are incredibly responsive to all inquiries - we reported water damage due to an old roof and it was replaced in under 2 weeks, simple fixes were addressed in under 24 hours. On one occasion they had (without prompting by me) checked our water flow rate because they thought our meter might be bad and they wanted to ensure we werent paying for more water than we were truly using. Location of the apartments is excellent, within 10 minutes of the Greensboro Arboretum, within 5 of two grocery stores, and within 15 of the 4 Seasons and Friendly Center. Most neighbors had been there multiple years if not over a decade. The sole issue with the apartments is as the buildings are older, heating in the winter tended to run on the expensive side (that said, the roof replacement probably helped and I moved out prior to experiencing a winter with the new one.TL/DR: A responsive staff, great location, and affordable rates makes this a good location to live.Random reminder with all renting: Take photos of everything when you move in, they can be a lifesaver later on.
