Today was my first visit to Today’s Nails & Spa and I was very impressed. Jason did a wonderful job on my nails and was kind, professional and on time! The salon was very neat and clean. I will absolutely be back!!

I was going to this nail salon for quite sometime. The nail tech Jenifer was awesome! She left. The turnover there is big. I had my nails dipped and it was a horrible job. I had huge polish bumps by the cuticle. It looked awful. I was told it was going to be one price and was charged more when the service was done. The quality at this salon has gone down hill. I was also charged for a full price pedicure for my 9 year old granddaughter.

Katy did my pedicure for the first time. She was very professional and friendly. She was also gentle and I did not experience any discomfort throughout the procedure. She also massaged my feet and legs, while the chair massaged my back and neck and the result was very calming and relaxing. To be perfectly honest, this was the best pedicure I have ever had!

Kim is awesome. She did a wonderful job. Very meticulous and a perfectionist! Im very happy and will be back again. This was my first time at this business and Im very happy with my pedicur ! Thank you Kim,! Oh, make sure you have cash for a tip because their machine doesnt allow for tips but youll regionally want to leave one !

Best place in town to get your nails done. They are following all safety guidelines. The staff is friendly and efficient. Cant say enough nice things. If you want your nails to look good and healthy,then go here. Its worth the money.

Went here for pedicures with my sister on a Sunday afternoon. Called an hour ahead to reserve spots and they got us right in.They had multiple options for different kinds of pedicures. They did a really great job on both of our nails and were very friendly.

Cant make an appointment because they can hardly understand anything you say. Rude an DEFINITELY WILL NOT GO BACK! Location wasn’t really nice either. They got one visit too many! And I’ve only been once!

Katie always gives me an excellent pedicure but the Hawaiian with the fresh oranges and limes was really excellent.Michael does my nails as well and he always leaves me smiling and with beautiful nails and designs.Highly recommend!!!

I came here with a friend to get shellac manicures together and scheduled an appointment for 930 (when they open on Saturdays), but no one arrived to open the salon until 940/945. There was also another girl there who had a 930 appointment for a pedicure, but no one else besides (I assume) the owner was there on time. Other workers arrived around 10. My friend offered for me to go first with the man who opened the salon because I needed to be out of there by 1030, and I didnt have a pleasant experience.I will preface this by saying this was my second manicure ever, so I was hesitant to speak up as I am not accustom to manicures. That being said, none of the tools used came out of packages, and were just under a towel, so I have no idea how they are cleaned/sterilized in between customers. When he was cutting my cuticle he cut too much off, causing pain and redness/irritation. He also removed a hangnail and made me bleed, apologized, but then it wasnt cleaned up right away, causing the blood to become stuck in the shellac and its still there a week later. He complained to me about the other nail technicians being late, but rarely spoke to me otherwise. The shellac wasnt placed far enough back on my nails, so there was a gap between the shellac and my nail base, and its chipping after only a week. I quickly left after paying and washed my hands several times with warm water and soap, worried I may get an infection (thankfully, I was lucky and I didnt).My friend wanted to get her acrylic nails removed and shellac placed instead, but the technician repeatedly did not listen and tried to talk her into leaving them on and changing the color instead, and eventually she realized this guy was not going to take them off and agreed. While she liked the color, she also left with a bleeding cut on one finger.Maybe other technicians are better, but neither my friend or I would go back, and I would not suggest it to others. Nail Lounge and Spa near Woodland Mall was 100% better.

I had a wonderful experience here! I came in for the dip powder nails, which Ive had once before at another nail salon, and they turned out beautiful! The previous place I got the dip powder nails at turned out much thicker and were kind of grainy, but still turned out nice. However, these ones look so natural, not grainy at all and were beautifully shaped (and Im very picky!). The dip powder nails dont come off until you take them off. The guy working here that took care of me was very friendly and kind! I definitely will go back and I dont think Ill ever go back to the shellac.

I love coming here. This is probably my 7th time and I’ve never had a bad experience. The prices are affordable, and the staff are very polite and gentle on your hands and feet. I’m very particular about the shape of my nails and I usually file them back to square (very square) when I get home. Had a dip polish done today and it was awesome, shape and all!

Amazing nail artists. They are nice and pay attention to detail. Not a bad price at all.

The reason I gave them such a low rating was because before the nail tech finished my manicure he asked for me to pay . Which no one has ever done that to me. It was just odd because any nail salon or spa I have been to I always pay after the services are performed not in the middle of a session . Either way out of courtesy I gave them a $20 tip.

After two weeks my dipped nails still look awesome, excellent clean and sanitary environment. Definitely recommend.

My birthday gift from my parent was to go and get my nails done, now when i went previously i got a pedicure. i asked about how much acrylics are and a woman told me $25 but could be a little more depending on length. so i was like shoot that’s affordable okay. and a sign says dip nails were $35. and i thought okay i want to try dip so my parent gave me $45 and i walk in there and i tell the man what i want and the length and then proceeds totell me that the dip i was going to get with that length and shape would be $60. and i thought that was absolutely ridiculous because later on he pretty much said they mostly do natural and short nail lengths. so i asked about regular acrylic and he said it’d be $40 because of the length 🙃🙃. side note, my nail length i wanted is only about half an inch away from my fingertip. i would’ve had no problem paying the amount i did if it said somewhere that long nails cost more and why long nails cost more. i should’ve left, but i really wanted a set done, so i stayed. i tipped the nail tech only out of common courtesy and he did a fairly decent job on my nails. i just feel scammed at the fact i paid almost double for a fraction of an inch of nail more. stop hustling your clients and put accurate prices!

Quick professional and great quality

As part of a Grand Rapids based bridal party, I had two lovely experiences getting a shellac manicure from Todays Nails. The salon is lovely, quiet, and spacious which provides a relaxing experience. They have a wide range of colors in normal polish, gel, and powder. Both of my manicures have lasted 5 weeks without peeling/chipping (dont judge the ridiculous amount of time I went between sessions). Would highly recommend!

I absolutely love going here to get my nails done! Im always treated great and feel comfortable. And they do an amazing job every single time! They take the time to do a good job, rather than rush like most other places. I have zero complaints. I would definitely recommend going here!

This was my first time going to this place since I don’t live here, and I absolutely loved the service! It was clean, and my nail technicians took their time and my nails and toes look great! Also decently cheap! Highly recommend!

Very good massaging pedicure

Every time I go I have an amazing experience. Tony and Alex are my go-tos. They are so helpful with color selection and my shellac lasts forever. I love the Tropical Hawaiian pedicure! My legs and feet stay so smooth and it is worth every penny. Tony and Alex make sure to spend time getting my nails absolutely perfect, by far the best!

Nails have chips after 1 day and they expect us to come back later to fix. or we have to wait hours...I realize they are busy, but you caused the issue. As a customer I should not be inconvenienced for your error.

I called them and asked for a quote on just painting my 9 and 10 yr old daughters nails and they told me it would be $12 a piece and when i went to pay after they got them painted the bill was $57 dollars .....they straight up lied and took advantage of me due to the fact i dont know anything about or any details or extra needed info about getting nails done...spit on them ...they are scumbags for taken advantage of a poor father just trying to get his daughters nails painted...smh

Been going here off and on for a year or so. Mostly impressed, I’ve had manicures, pedicures, dip nails, shellac and yesterday my first full-set of acrylics. I will say I was NOT happy when I left with how they looked (some nails were crooked, shape was terrible and too long) but it was after closing time and I wanted to go home as much as they did so they asked me to come back this morning to fix them. So I returned and they took the time to fix the bad job and was very apologetic. I am fully aware that not everyone can be 100% all the time and I at least wanted them to have a chance to fix the mistakes made. They did, I’m beyond happy and I will return. I’m just glad that I didn’t have anywhere to be after the first visit or I’d have been more pushy for instant repairs.

I walked in and told them what I needed. A man sat me down and started prying my old set of nails off. I told him it was hurting quite a few times and he did nothing and said nothing. After that a young woman came over to do my nails. She placed the tips and after me telling her that one needed to be placed differently because my finger is crooked and that’s how I like it. She left it just like that and apparently didn’t like how picky I was because she pawned me off to another man in there. He tried his best to do what I asked but I could barely understand him and I normally don’t have that problem. I asked for a narrow coffin and they look like narrow square. Needless to say I left very unhappy and will not be returning since they want to do things their way.I’ll agree that I’m picky but damn, I’m paying all that money and want it done my way.

Incredibly rude staff- no one ever smiles or even attempts to be friendly. Pedicures are rushed and expensive for no reason (no customers waiting, no massage, no callous removal). I’ll never be back. Don’t waste your money here.

I have never given a bad review on any site. I was a customer back in May 2017 where I received a manicure and pedicure. The staff was nice, I enjoyed my service, my nails looked great! A few weeks later, my toe seemed bruised and my toe nail never grew out. After about a month, my toe swelled up and I learned it was infected. Since then I have been to multiple doctors visits, three rounds of antibiotics, months of pain, hundreds of dollars in out of pocket medical expenses and just yesterday I had my toenail surgically removed. I have not received very many pedicures in my lifetime but I can assure you I will never get one again. I would highly recommend anyone going here or any other place to be cautious, bring in your own polish and tools to ensure everything is sterile so you do not get an infection yourself.

Mike is the only person that I will let touch my nails from here on out. Hes the only person whos never messed up my nails. DO NOT get a pedicure here though! Theyve messed up my toes every time theyve touched them.

Shellac manicure $25. I think they know what theyre doing, however, it might depend on who you get. Upon arrival and after I was seated with one hand already soaked and wrapped, I was passed to someone else because the person available didnt want to do the pedicure walk in. I ended up with someone who was sick and my quality of service appeared to be the result of him not wanting to be there. During the process there was too much cutting of the cuticle and even today, 5 days later, one of my fingers is still sore. He also noticed some shellac had kicked up on my thumb and he cut it off and polished over it but it should have just been fixed because the booboo is obvious. The nail shapes are a bit uneven. I can overlook a bad day but the culmination of things including the sore finger makes me hesitant to revisit.

I have been here a few times and each has been a great experience. They take their time and have many varieties of powered colors and nail designs (samples) to choose from. The prices are extremely fair. I will continue giving them my business!
