I’ve only been here a couple times but each time they are all really friendly and professional. The place is super clean and it’s one of the only places I know that offer a beverage. They take their time and my nails turn out Amazing. I say they because I’ve had my nails done by the female and male. Both did a wonderful job. I highly recommend and def will be going back. They also give birthday discounts but even their day to day prices are extremely reasonable.

Love love love it! I chipped my nail at work, and I came back in and she fixed that up and retouched my whole manicure. Great customer service and beautiful nails for a great price. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Pedicures- quality service. Better than their competition across the street and prices are reasonable. Oh and most importantly they dont force you to tip in cash!

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and the very best pedicure I’ve had in years. Henry was attentive to my very much needed pedi. He was professional and did a great job. Very thorough. His leg massage was the best I’ve had. I would recommend this business to anyone who wants a great, clean professional pedicure.

They are amazing and I have perfect nails everytime! I love all the options they have and the new decor the new owners has done.

The service was bad. Ask them to do one thing they did another that I didnt not ask for and seem like they didnt care and just start to work on someone else. I will not rommend this place to no one.

Mandy does a very good job at my doing my acrylic nails. I go to her and this place for homecoming, fling. October 6,2019 was my second year returning here for my nail needs lol. Mandy is my favorite!!

All the staff are very nice. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming.You are always acknowledged when you walk in. Even if everyone is busy when I walk in, someone will look at me and greet me by name. And if something happens to one of my nails, I can call, they will have me come on and repair the nail for free!!I love this place!! I would highly recommend it for anyone.

My daughters love this place. They do a great job every time. Also they take really good care of my daughters. I live in Cutlerville and drive by many many other nail shops. I would always recommend this very friendly place.

I had gone a week ago and my nails acrylics were pealing up and I went it to get them fixed and a new color...Mandy did absolutely AMAZING. She was so helpful and attentive and made my nails so amazing! Friendly and quick service even though I had gotten there close to their closing time. Definitely recommend her and this location!!

I am so impressed with this nail salon!I had the best experience today! Granted, it’s a Monday night & they weren’t all that busy, I got in right at my appointment time & Moon (my artist) took her time and was super friendly. I felt extremely comfortable here & was super happy with my experience!

The ladies that work here are amazing! They are like family. I won’t go anywhere else. I have really bad ingrown toe nails and they get it out for me and I don’t trust anyone else with my feet.

I went in to get my eyebrows done. The staff took excellent care of me. Complimented me and offered a new make up color for me. How genuine and kind !! :) I LOVE the shape I was given and the atmosphere at this place. Definitely ONLY going here from now on! Best salon care Ive had- EVER ! And Ive been to 5-6 other salons. Highly recommend !! Prices are very reasonable as well - this is coming from a poor college student (: Thanks for the great care !!

Clean, friendly, and relaxing environment!

I came in here a few months ago and unfortunately didnt have my credit card & had only 30 dollars cash. I saw that the price was 25 and I figured that would be fine since I would be able to leave the remaining five as a tip. I was then asked if the shellac on my nails was from there & was told that its a 5 dollar charge to remove polish thats not from their salon. That is completely fine. However, I simply stated I only had 30 dollars cash and that I wanted to tip the remaining five. I explained I would have to go across the street where I know I would be charged 25 dollars and would be able to tip if they couldnt take off my polish from a different salon. She went back and asked the manager and apparently she agreed. Everything went fine and I left. I was recently informed by my friend who referred me to Plainfield nails that the manicurist was gossiping about me and stated That I was an annoying customer and they dont want people like that coming in to their salon. Considering I was only trying to leave a tip on a day that I didnt have my wallet, I found this extremely uncalled for. Myself and my friend will not be returning. If you do not want to do something say no, dont agree to it and then talk about your customers behind their backs.

Ill never go anywhere else now. The staff is wonderful, they are friendly, informative and helpful. And they do an amazing job on my nails. I am not a difficult client, but I have hopped around nail salons, always disappointed in the quality and lack of friendliness in the GR area. Seriously, Ill never go anywhere else now that Ive found this gem!

Today was my first time at this salon, and everyone was friendly, Mandy did an amazing job helping me switch up my look, and I loved all the color options. My nails look and feel awesome! I will definitely be returning.

Our first visit to Plainfield Nails was Gr8! We will highly recommend this clean and nicely decorated shop to our friends & family. We were greeted by friendly & knowledgeable staff. We are very pleased with the services we received at our visit today; a Mani & Pedi. Thoroughly trimmed, shaped and perfectly painted, edge to edge nails. We will be returning soon!

Mandy and her staff are awesome, so much fun. They do a terrific job on my nails, everyother week and I enjoy a full spa pedicure occasionally also. Want to get a group of girlfriends together for a fun outing, this is the place too.

They do okay work, but the techs are not very nice. Literally had one of their people yell at me for accidentally messing up my shellac when I had just started to get my nails done. You can go other places and get the same quality work at a better price, and be in the company of much nicer people.

Literally worse experience ever. ALL the staff were so rude to me. My nails look terrible. I cant even begin to explain how awful the experience was. One of the ladies said she would hate to make me clean the floor if I accidentally spilled nail polish. Let me spare you the trouble, don’t even go. Seriously just don’t do it. I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star.

I recently moved to Lansing, I am VERY picky about my nails. I tried 4 different salons...no one here can do my nails like Mandy. The salon is fresh and very clean, the staff is extremely nice. What can I say? I drive back to GR and get my nails done with Mandy!!

This place has terrible customer service. Called ahead and I was told to come in and the wait would not be long. Came in 2 minutes later and then waited for 40 minutes. It is a Saturday morning and there is only 3 people working. Employees were extremely rude and did not care that I was waiting for such a long time. I will not be coming back here if this is how they treat their customers. They should respect people’s time more.

I typically never write reviews, but I had to take the time to post one! This is by far my favorite nail salon. No matter how busy they are, (which they stay pretty busy, I suggest making an appointment) they never make me feel rushed or like theyre just trying to get me in and out. Me and my friend have been going here every 2 weeks for fills for a few months now, and Ill never go anywhere else!! Trust me, you wont be disappointed!

I have been going to this salon since it opened. While they do ok work, their business principles and customer service is lacking. There have been numerous changes in business practices from only taking walk-ins in certain days and only serving customers with appointments. There are so many changes in the staff that it’s impossible to know who works there at any given time. Many employees have walked as they have not seen eye to eye with the owner. Here was the straw that broke the camels back. I went in on Saturday morning asking for a mani and pedi and asked if it would be better if I came later. I was told to come back around 12:30, which I did. When I got there at the said time, I waited around for 15 minutes and then finally asked to soak my feet. I sat there soaking for another 15 minutes and finally asked the owner when I would get out of there as I have two little ones at home and time is unfortunately a luxury I do. It have. There was no way for me to walk out of there in the time frame she provided and she just carried about her business. Meanwhile people are coming in, picking their colors, and there are only three people working. Customers aren’t greeted well (if even at all), customers are made to wait (even with a set schedule/appointment), customers are talked about, as are the employees. I realized at that moment that customers were not respected for their time or respected much at all and made the decision right then and there that I would not give them my business anymore. Many employees have left, many customers have also left, and I guess I just make one more. I’m sure my leaving will not matter nor will it change anything, but I’m sure there are salons out there who treat their customers with more respect and I will be heading on that direction. Sad and disappointed.

Went in and without soaking, he took off my acrylics with a pair of nail clippers.... completely ruined my nails and made two of them bleed. Also cut my nails to the skin. Very messy manicure with polish all around the edges. Not coming back

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE!!! I went into the salon yesterday to schedule an appointment for my daughter and I. I asked for pricing for a Mani/Pedi. The woman told me that they STARTED at $35. Since thats exactly the same price as the salon I used to go to, I went ahead and made the appointment. My daughter chose a Shellac manicure which I knew would be about $10 more, so we started the appointment. The technician who did my daughters toes asked her if shed like a flower on her big toe. My daughter said yes and I didnt think anything of it. The place I typically go to INCLUDES one nail art per pedicure. If theyd have let me know of the additional cost, I would have agreed to it and still gone ahead with the flower. When they were done with our toes, both technicians kind of disappeared and we were sitting around for a bit. Then, two other women showed up to do our nails. It was an awkward hand off and we werent allowed too sit next to each other - even though there were two stations next to each other - which would have been nice because we wanted to have the experience together. But... nothing was really THAT wrong, so no big deal. As the tech started to put nail polish on me, I asked if I could please pay first so as to not smudge my nails. When the bill was given to me, they were each a bit higher than I expected. I said to the nail tech next to me (who had originally done my toes and was no working on another client) I just want to be sure we were billed right. I was told yesterday when I came in that the mani/pedis started at $35. She said No, they start at $40. I said again that I was told yesterday $35 and was just wondering about the difference. She then went on to tell me that the nail art was $5 more. I said I understood that, but maybe they should let people know when they offer that just sot here isnt any misunderstanding. Then the tech who was seated behind me turned and said that she told me yesterday that the price was $40 and argued with me it twice. I was humiliated. There was a client next to me and my daughter was in a different row behind me and everyone could hear this. It was so embarrassing. I have no problem with the cost. My issue is that if there is a misunderstanding, apologize for that and NICELY explain how the costs are broken down. I went into shut down mode as I didnt want to cause a scene and embarrass my daughter. When I was at the drying station, my daughter came over to me and said that she heard the first woman tell me it was $35 too and that they made such a big deal out of it that she wanted to storm out. So... besides the fact that our nails look nice and the tech that was with my daughter, Bobi, was so very nice, I will NEVER go back there again. They were just rude and condescending!

My nails were uneven, not the right shape, the woman who did my nails didn’t even check if they were all the same length. She rushed through didn’t add any details I asked for, and was willing to pay for, and my nail broke 3 days after I got them done. Wouldn’t recommend, and wouldn’t come back. PERIOD.

On multiple times they turn costumers down. “Walk-ins welcome” is false advertising.

Was at this place for 60 minutes with a friend. They did her entire pedicure and never touched my feet or really said one word to me. Very strange, I had to walk out no pedicure, I will never go there again. (Not the first time)
