Ive been going exclusively for 5 years to this place. The pedis are absolute heaven. Hot towels, and a hot stone massage. My nails always look amazing.I finally got the volcano pedicure package and it was absolutely amazing. I cant recommend this place more 12/10 😁😁

Only complaint is website states $27 for color shellac and they charged me $30 - saying the website was out of date. I didnt want to make a fuss over $3 but they need to update their website if this is true. Other than that annoyance at the end it was very well done & the nail tech was very attentive to detail. (1st photo is of nails 8 days later - polish started to turn yellow and look dirty on the tips. 2nd photo is directly afterwards)

I had a great manicure/dip by Lynn! She took the time to really make sure it was done right, very detailed oriented. I will be back and definitely recommend.

I had bad experience with this nail shop. They took a 12 dollar tip off my card without asking. They charge us 112 dollars for two pedicure, And we didn’t get shellac so I don’t understand why it was so expensive.

This place is so hit or miss. Ive gone here for pedicures today and loved it, but after my experience today I will never come back. We made an appointment for 3:30 and came in at 3 to see if theyd prefer us earlier because they had indicated so on the phone. They said yes, please stay, dont go look at the boutique you were going to pass your time at. We stayed and waited 25 minutes.When I sat down to do my manicure she did the whole thing in 10 minutes. I timed it. 10 minutes. The cuticles were pushed but not cleaned up and the polish had lines all throughout. To fix it she added another coat.My friend sat down and showed her something specific she wanted - one nail with a little Mickey Mouse silhouette on it. If this was not possible, she would have passed on the manicure. We were told it was possible after the nail tech looked at a picture. AFTER shaping my friends nails (poorly) the tech looked at the picture again and said it was not possible.Ill be taking my polish off tonight. It seems like if youre not a regular its not worth coming. Im so disappointed and it was DEFINITELY not worth $15 to be shuffled around waiting for 25minutes all for a 10 minute manicure.To be fair - the ladies who work here are wonderful. Its the owner (who did my nails, I believe her name starts with an L) who always rushes and does a poor job. But its not worth coming here again if I risk getting her.

It was conveniently open on Sunday so that was great! But 2 of my nails chipped the very next day.

I had a great experience :) the lady cut my nails shorter and let me looks through all the shellac colors. She took her time and was nice. Will be back :)

Great experience! They do good work and my nails last!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I got my nails done by the owner/manager. She was constantly distracted and got up twice while doing my nails to do something else. Her tools were unsanitary and caused irritation (maybe even infection it is too soon to tell) to my cuticles. This is the sloppiest manicure I’ve ever received. I tried to go in to get a refund and I was told there was “nothing wrong” with my nails and to pick out another color. I refused to let them touch my hands because of the cuticle irritation. I would never get my nails done here again.

The owner did my nails which was acrylic and she tried to charge for a gel set this is the second time this has happened I will not be back EVER!! Not to mention the paint job was horrible!!! The one lady I use to go all the time was amazing but she no longer works anymore.

Davi Nails did a wonderful job on my nails and toes. The salon was clean and comfortable. The customer service was lovely. I will definitely be returning when I need my nails done again!

I love this place. They do really great work. I ask for Mimi when I go in, she is so good. Thorough, precise, my shellac is always on point and lasts two weeks, if not longer, almost every time. It doesn’t get much better.

A coworker recommended this place because she had a better experience then I did. The quality of work was average and I want to assume it was because they were busy and trying to rush. But I am not happy with the state my nails are in. While the person finishing my nails was basically running out of the door as she completed my nails (Im assuming because it was 7:30 and that is when they close) I noticed that the length of each nail was varying and slightly sharp. I would suggest trying to see if they are better during there non-rush hours... I personally will not be going back to this place.

First time I went, my shellac chipped in a couple days. I went back and Helen fixed them for me no questions asked. I tried to give her money and she refused. Went back a few weeks later to have them redone (requesting Helen) and they lasted for a month. Just went back in today for a deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure with Helen and both were great! She is very meticulous, kind and great at what she does! Prices are very reasonable for the quality I get with her.

Awesome service, very professional and efficient. Went in for a pedicure and a full set of nails for manicure. The pedicure was really relaxing and included a long foot massage. For a manicure I opted for a full set of matte nails. Spent a little over an hour for the services combined! Will definitely be returning.

I went here for the first time, after I got my nails done somewhere else, to fix two nails that had already broken in less than a week. Not only did they fit me in right away, but Lynn said the other place did such a bad job on the other eight nails that she insisted on fixing them ALL for the original quoted cost of $8! She is a gem and I will definitely be back.

Ive been to Davi Nails & Spa twice to get acrylic fill. Each time l walked in with my nails the way l like them and each time l walked out with my nails butchered. The techs dont listen when you tell them what you want. They like to file your nails on the sides like crazy, which cause them to look misshapen and easily get caught on something and break. One tech had the frickin nerve to push my hand out of the way when l was showing her how l wanted my nails done. My instinct was to push her hands off of my hands and walk out, but l kept my cool. Not only do they cost more than other salons, but they are very rude. Oh yeah, they appear to be nice and friendly, but the horns come out if you dont like something. The only thing they like is taking your money. There may be one or two techs there that do a good job, but based on my experience and what l saw, the rest are hacks. They will destroy your nails. If you wish to go there, ask around to get the name of a good tech.

I dont like having to write a bad review, as I have had some good experiences here - but my nails look so bad!I came to have a set of gels removed and get a regular polish manicure. The manicurist did a very poor job with the removal. My nails look so damaged now - they are peeling, brittle, and rough. This is not how they should look after a professional removal. The manicure was sloppy and rushed.I would have asked to get them fixed, but felt it wasnt worth it due to my experience.

The pedicures are awesome. Wasnt as impressed with my manicure. But definitely Will goo back for the pedi. I like that they use single use pedi lotions and scrubs that i choose.

I would have loved to give this place more than even three stars but as I called ahead and asked if they could do three pedicures she told me oh yes, then called me twice in the next 20 minutes and asked where you at. I had told her it would take me 30 minutes to get there.So right after I walk in it was a complete rush job on all three of us. And not one of us received the same. Well my nail paint on me and my daughter both have marks in them and both of our feet still have callous on them. Ive been to a lot of nail salons and have never came out with ruff feet...$75. Dollars later plus tips.Guess you know I will not go back there again.Im not sure how their rating is the 4.3 in the first place.

If I could give zero stars I would. My friend and I are both licensed cosmetologists, licensed 11 years and 8 years, and we were in GR for the weekend for some continuing education for work. We visited this establishment on a whim for pedicures because we saw some good reviews online but our experience did not match what we read at all!! The only thing said to us was what number? While we were greeted promptly and seated with bottled water...it was our experience following that lead me to this review. The woman doing my pedicure looked around every 30 seconds weather to check the clock or the door or the girl doing my friends pedicure...the absolute worst part was when my friends technician used the pumice stone on her then rinsed it off in the footbath and tossed it back in her basket only for my technician to pick it up and use it on me!! We both looked at each other in disbelief! Thank goodness it was my friend and not some stranger...aside from that fact it is ENTIRELY UNSANITARY!! There are laws and regulations in this industry and this is a HUGE NO NO!! She then paid no attention to the fact that she was buffing the tops of my toes (skin) instead of my actual toenails, she clipped my actual skin instead of my cuticles, the hot stone massage was so rough and the hot towels were so hot that when she put the first one on me I nearly kicked her in the face (for which I apologized as I told her it was TOO HOT) she shook the second towel out thankfully but her gloves prevented her from realizing exactly how hot they were. My friends nail technician used the cuticle nippers so much that her toes were sore by the time we got back to our hotel. At the end of our services we were escorted to the drying station. My friends polish was so lumpy (I should have taken a picture but we just wanted to leave)....my polish was smooth and even (the only plus side for me) so as soon as my nails were dry we decided to get up and pay. They didnt like that we stood up and told us to sit for 10 more minutes...I explained that we were both professionals and were comfortable with our choice to leave...they didnt like our response and went to grab back up. We were then faced by 5 employees trying to tell us to sit back down or put baggies over our toes. I restated the previous and they finally let us go.....worst pedicure experience ever!!

Good services and great place to get your waxing done. Needed to get my legs wax since they were getting a bit long and really glad I came here. The tech didnt miss a single hair on my leg.

Beware! Overpriced, cheap work and poor selection of dip colors! Not to mention I’ve gotten a different price each time for the same thing. They charged $22 each for my girls nails to be painted when they first told me $5 for painted. Then said “well they picked shellac” and I said “I’m the paying adult, they are kids who don’t know, and I told you regular polish.” Needless to say, they wouldn’t remedy it and we won’t return. That was the last straw for me.

The lady insisted on shaping my eyebrows to her liking instead of mine. I finally just said its fine just leave them, then she asked my daughter if she missed Mexico?! I had to politely say we are from the US. Completely unsatisfied and offended.

The only reason this place even received 1 star was due to the products they use. I love their shellac selection, and I love their pedicure products. However, the service was terrible. I called before we left the house and was told they could get us right in by the time we got there. I asked her if we needed an appointment and she said no, just come right in. When we arrived, we signed in and we waited about a half hour, and then were placed at the pedicure bowls, we waited another 15 minutes for anyone to get us started. The pedicures started out great, until we asked for our nailed to be shaped and we were ignored. This was mentioned a few times. We then moved to our manicures where the lady completely ignored the 6 times I asked for my nails to be squared and kept the same length and instead rounded all of them and cut them really far down. When asking her if she could even them out after chopping them down she said yeah yeah I know and OK I get it after showing her how different they all were. I finally shut up and let her do her thing because she clearly was not going to listen to me. My sister also received a fill manicure and she had almost the same issue, different nail tech. The nail tech told her 3 times, after noticing that my sister was unhappy, that my sister would not have to pay for her nails because she was upset and we had already been in the salon for 3 hours. My sister told the lady that her tech said she didnt need to pay for the nails because she was unhappy. They charged her full price for everything. She called the salon when we got home to ask if they would please refund her for her nails because the more she looked at them, the more things she found wrong. The owner then SCREAMED at her on the phone and told her she was not going to receive her money back. I should also mention that you can still see our old nail polish and that the edges of our nails are not even painted. Word to the wise, dont go here.

The pedicure was fine but the experience was incredibly rushed. There was hardly any scrubbing or massage for my feet. Since my pedicure there, Ive had an issue with one of my toenails. I wont blame Davi Nails or the nail tech, but it is suspicious!

Definitely the worst pedicure Ive ever had. They barely filed, or exfoliated and the polish was all clumpy and messed up. They seemed really rushed to get us in and out quickly.

Went there on Mothers day, 2 weeks ago. Loved the pedicure and thats why I gave it 3 stars, massage and exfoliating scrub on my feet with the hot stone and hot towel was good. Sanitation needs to be put in place. Did NOT see tub get properly desinfected, it was just drained and sprinkled with the hose, I even asked the lady if it had been desinfected and she shook her head yes. Manicure wasnt the best, 2 of my nails chipped within 4 days, nails were not painted right or shaped right. I had to tell my nail lady to please file my nails better so they could look more natural and not too bumpy. some nails looked misshaped. Thinking it was east Grand rapids i went there with my mom. But will not be going there. spent$186 for a mediocre job on my hands.

I went to get gel nails - as soon as I went outside and saw them in daylight I realized they had loads of air bubbles, they looked bumpy and it had gone over my skin so the gel is already starting to peel. I went back in to show them and they refused to refund me because they said they would fix them. I am only in town (from Seattle) for a wedding and have no more time but they didn’t even listen. I wouldn’t have given 1 star if they were at least understanding of my situation and refunded me, but they were not helpful.

Was not offered a refreshment when I was seated, even though the neighboring chairs were served refreshments. Then looked annoyed when we asked for water. The techs talked amongst themselves throughout the whole pedicure, without talking to us (rude). They handed my mom and I a laminated page that had different types of lotions on it, telling us to pick one. The sign outside the shop states pedicure $27. After the pedicure was complete she tells me its $70 for the 2 pedicures. I questioned why it was so much. She tells me I chose the deluxe by picking a lotion off the laminated page that she handed me. Mind you, there were no prices listed anywhere other than the sign outside. Will never go here again!

I waited for over 45 mins to get a pedicure and then they ended up giving my chair away to two walk-in clients who walked in after me. Once they finally got me a chair, they started cleaning the chair while I was sitting there. They definitely treat returning customers better than new ones, which isnt a great strategy since I recently moved to Grand Rapids and am looking for my new nail salon. The pedicure itself was very enjoyable and they were very accommodating when I wanted to switch my color. They only carry OPI colors (no Essie to be found).

First time here, because they have good Sunday hours. Nice suite of services for the basic price of a pedi. Clean and pretty establishment. Good prices I will definately be back.

Staff was friendly and accommodating with our large group. They had plenty of people on staff, offered refreshments, and did a great job on both Mani and pedi applications.

This was my second time at Davi Nails, and I was impressed both times. I spent 62$, a little pricy, but I enjoyed the experience. The lady Jennifer who did my pedicure, was ok. She could have cut more off of my cuticles, but the message and the hot rocks...omg, the best. I was there for 2 hours. Very nice place and I will go back again.

This is my second time visiting this place. My first time, I went with my sisters and not only did they make us think they had time for us, but they were rude. Never got serviced by the way. Second time I went was today 2/6/16) I called, made an appointment. I arrived about 20 minuets early and I sat and not only watched them take 2 people in front of me, but when I asked I was told that they were there for an appointment. Finally 15 mins AFTER my appointment time, I left and went somewhere else, came back to get my sister and they still hadnt even acknowledged us... I am Hispanic, I am darker, I have grew up in Grand Rapids, lived in New York, lived in Orlando, but never have I ever experienced what I felt was racism that day!

I went for a mani/pedi today prior to a wedding weekend. The pedicure was fine, but my manicure was awful. The lady moved me to the drying station before putting on my top coat and then clumsily stuck her hair in the wet paint as she tried to put the top coat on at the drying station. She then tried to just paint over the mistake instead of re-doing the paint. She ended up having to re-do three nails. I got home and realized that the top coat she put on my nails now looked like shrink wrap, multiple nails had bubbles in the paint, and she had painted all over my cuticles and didnt touch anything up.I called to complain, they told me to come back in to have them redone, and I requested that the owner do the work herself. When I arrived she sat me with another technician instead of herself. The second technician was alright, but she dropped a brush onto a wet nail, and she as well tried to paint over the issue instead of fixing it. At this point the owner sits down to fix the nail, and without care smears top coat on the rest of my nails. I again have large bubbles, and this time some of the nails didnt get fully painted with top coat.I have been to this shop many times, I am never truly happy with my manicures. The pedicures are fine.

Normally when I receive horrible service I just keep it moving and on to the next place.. this is my first review! I literally cannot express the horrible service that I received here! Not only was I yelled at him and basically called a liar but also I could feel My technicians pissy attitude the way she was handling me pulling my arm so far to her that a good half of my fore arm was across the desk over onto her side. I originally went nine days ago with today making it the 10th 50% of my nails were lifting and cracked on the sides. I paid $50 cash and a $10 tip Only to be called a liar when I come back and ask her to fix what is wrong she told me I paid with a credit card which I should have sat and asked her to produce the copy as I do not pay with a credit card I always pay in cash! I told her to go ahead and take care of her other customers as she was not fixing my nails correctly. She did not even take my clear gel topcoat off before she applied more acrylic. I will never go back to this place And I also will never recommend anyone go here! I took pictures and will try and figure out how to post those with this post.

I selected a nude color for a shellac manicure and my nails turned out bubble gum pink. I told them I wasn’t happy and showed the difference in the color swatches. I was told they were the same color and there was nothing they could do, and was charged full price.

I hosted the morning of a friends bachelorette party at Da Vi Nails and Spa a few weeks ago, and we had a great experience! The salon is luxurious, clean, and bright with natural light (they also have really nice pedicure chairs). The staff is really friendly and were very attentive, offering us drinks and making sure we were comfortable. The pedicures in particular were my favorite (the unexpected hot stone massage for the calves was amazing). We had a group of about ten women and all of us left feeling relaxed and with awesome fingers and toes. They also welcomed us to bring in brunch snacks for our group, as well as fixings for mimosas, and they had a nice little table for us when we got there to set up everything.Five stars- I wont be going anywhere else for my mani pedis from now on! Im sold. 😊
