Today was my second visit here. My first visit was for a shellac pedicure and a dip manicure. The shellac was pooled around my cuticles and bubbly. My dip was messy and uneven. I returned today for a dip manicure as a second chance. I seem to have had a similar experience with messy and uneven application. There are particles stuck in the nail, power stuck around the skin of my finger and under my nail, uneven nail edges, uneven top coat application with brush streaks, etc. The photos are after I got some of the larger chunks of powder unstuck from under my nail.I give the two stars because it is a clean and friendly environment and the staff is kind. Just not the quality I would expect for $43+ tip.

Ive been going to Luxe for a few months. It is super clean and feels posh with the white decor. The ladies always do a lovely job. Today I got a new set of acrylics with an ombre French. They are absolutely lovely. The only negatives are that they are always busy so waits can be a bit at times.

Cindy did an amazing job! This is my second visit and I will certainly be back. There are tons of polish colors, the salon is very clean, the customer service is great, services are timely and high quality. I recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional and friendly nail salon!

Got my nails done on 8/8 at Luxe Nail Bar, going in not really 100% sure what I wanted but boy was I not disappointed😍😍😍 I’m so upset I didn’t get the girls name who did my nails but she was so patient with me and did whatever I wanted, let me try stuff out and take it off if I didn’t like it. She was so detailed and made sure they looked just the way I wanted. 100% will recommend this place to everyone, I will be back!! Also got a pedicure and it felt wonderful♥️

Ive been to many a nail salon but this is by far the best treatment Ive ever had. For context, I recently moved states and this was my first visit here. Im always nervous when changing salons, but I know I have found my new salon here in Grand Rapids. If I could give ten stars, I would. Yoka did the best manicure and nail design on me and the service was quick and fantastic. She was so sweet and helpful, as she was asking me if I liked how they were looking every step of the way. Visiting from out of town. Fantastic nail salon, everyone was very skilled and fast. Had a relaxing foot massage. Went there with my siblings and friend and they were able to accommodate us even without an appointment. 5 stars, would definitely come back when I am in town again.

I have been coming to this nail salon for six months or so and have never experienced anything but professionalism and efficiency and courtesy. No one has ever called cuticle or done anything with the Dremel tool. I really enjoyed coming to this location and I find them to be awesome. Cindy is the owner, she’s been a nail tech for 26 years and has owned this business by herself for two years. I know it’s hard being a business owner and her very first business. I recommend this place to anybody and also suggested anyone who’s had A bad experience, consider talking to her and telling her what happened rather than just blasting her on the Internet. Thanks

From the moment I walked in I was dazzled by the calming ambience of the shop. White massage chairs, modern plush interior design it feels like a true nail spa experience. I would recommend anyone go and ask for Cindy she took care of me and made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time.!

I’ve been here a few times and the ladies always do a wonderful job and are very friendly. Place is very clean and stylish, this is definitely my new nail place.

We walk in and they were nice and told us to sit down and they will be with us. Then we showed them what we wanted and they laughed at us. My hopes dwindled here. She put down the acrylic and it looked niceThen she started color and omfg it’s so uneven, not what I wanted, not the colors, she didn’t clean it up so it’s clumpy and spilled over the underneath of the nail. I literally look like a clown met wonder bread. I absolutely hate themAnd she charged me $75 which I think is absolutely outrageous for what I received. I will never recommend. I literally want to cryI’ll add what I wanted for reference

My best friend and I came here for pedicures today and it was wonderful. They got us in pretty last minute and took excellent care of us. They had a few different options for their pedicures. We went with the lavender lava option. Very relaxing and my feet look and feel much better. The place itself is beautiful and very clean. It has a comfortable atmosphere as well. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning in the future.

I got my nails done here a few weeks ago and the place looked great but the staff was terrible. I asked for dip but was given acrylic and shellac because it was cheaper. It turned out horrible with parts of my nails showing and my nails killing me from being hit with tools and over-shaped on the sides. I gave my feedback and the owner Mary reached out to me. She said she was very sorry and would personally redo them for me when I came in next week. I came in and she was nowhere to be found. Cindy said she had a son and would not elaborate on why she was not here. Cindy started on my nails and started to paint them white. I told her I wanted power, not regular paint. She stated because I had acrylics on she couldnt do it. We talked it over and in the end, she did dip but it wasnt easy for me to get what I asked for and they turned out extremely thick. I took pictures of my nails each time and an in-between to see the damage that was done to my nails when I went in the first time. Cindy took the same dremel tool that she used on me and then used it on the next three ladies who came in while my nails were wrapped in foil. Not only did she cut me with the tool she didnt sanitize it between any of us. If you are looking for a place that will rush your nails, talk about you to the other ladies in front of your face when you disagree with them, and probably get some sort of nail infection this is the place for you.

They are the best nail salon I’ve gone to by far! Cindy always checks my nails before I leave to make sure they look good and will fix them if they are not up to her standards before I leave. This past time my nails turned a weird color the day after I got them done and Cindy fixed them for me a few days later no charge (and I changed the color to Cindy’s recommendation which did not disappoint!). Truly the best customer service! I’ll be back!

When i moved into my sisters childhood bedroom after she moved out, i hated the color purple. I avoided clothes and nail polish that were that color. Scheduled an appointment for 2 pm (as did 4 other people who weren’t serviced bc of time mishap), didn’t start pedicure until after 3 (though I was sat in a chair at 2:30). The pedicure I chose was supposed to come with multiple steps of hydration and masks: the mask was kept in the plastic bag and the plastic bag was rubbed on my feet, no massage, had to tell them to put mask on actual skin. Unimpressed and would not recommend salon.

We went here today with four of us. After booking our appointment online two weeks ago and selecting the services we wanted and receiving a confirmation, we were met with confusion at the front desk about who we were and what services we needed. We were immediately yelled at for not wearing a mask, even though that mandate is not in effect for customers. There is no sign on the door saying they require a mask, and they made us feel shamed for not wearing one, and refused service unless we put one on. All four of us were supposed to get a paraffin wax and manicure. Three were also getting pedis. Only two of us received our paraffin wax, and they completely skipped my sister’s mani and went on to help other customers who came in without an appointment. My paraffin wax was done AFTER my mani, which is so bizarre and something I have never experienced before. There was wax stuck under my nails afterwards, and there’s no great way to clean that out without chipping the nails. The side nail work and nail beds were poorly done and look sloppy. We were overcharged and underserved. We will not be back. OH!!! And as we were finishing up, a woman walked in WITHOUT a mask, and they gladly served her and never said a thing about it to her. I guess if you’re a regular, you get preferred treatment.

Great and friendly service. I came here with my sister and 6 year old niece to get pedicures. They were very nice and kept checking in with my niece to make sure she was doing alright! Our toe nails turned out really pretty and we had a great time!

Ive been coming to Luxe since they opened and have had nothing but positive experiences here! Cindy is great, and is always prompt and professional. I will say, be prepared for a potential (typically brief) wait! Theyre usually busier in the afternoons and take walk-ins. I love being able to schedule online. All of their nail technicians are fabulous, Ive had Yoka and Tran in the past, but theyre all great!

Very cute set red and black set ... for 3 hours 🙄the next day the stickers lifted from the paint an the nail polish which was shellac faded really bad my nails were very ashy after paying $88 dollars 2 days later I had to go to another local shop for fill in an repaint never again sorry not sorry 😐

The first time was pretty good. The second time, they changed my dip color on me and didn’t tell me and I hated the new color. Since the first time I went was good, I decided to try again. I booked an appointment for a classic manicure. The women who did my nails cut my cuticles so deep that I bled and I am sore. She didn’t speak 1 word of English. My nails dried and there was bubbles in it so I asked them to fix the ones with bubbles in it, which they did. When I was paying, I was told it was $22 for the classic manicure and I had a 15% off coupon. I paid in cash with tip but right when I was leaving, the lady that didn’t speak English was trying to tell me that I got a deluxe manicure and owed them $10. I told her I got the classic manicure and that is what I booked and paid for. All she did was shape, clip, paint my nails and clip cuticles, nothing extra. She kept arguing but I couldn’t understand her. The owner came out and I told her that I got a classic manicure and not the deluxe and she ended up saying I’m good. Very disappointed in the customer service of this place. I gave them 3 tries and it was bad 2/3.

I was charged DOUBLE the price for eyelash strips! $90 for a the most basic pedi w/shellac & eyelash strips. And my pedicure was mediocre, at best. The paint was ok. But my feet were not scrubbed well at all. And It took forever (mainly because the people working on me, kept walking away & stopping to talk). I didn’t dispute it & still tipped. I will say the women were polite. No problem there at all. But I definitely won’t be recommending nor coming back.

Me and my sister got pedicures and manicures at this place for the first time, we felt as if they were constantly talking bad about us, they pushed us strongly to always get the more expensive options after I continuously refused, and we both were cut while getting our manicures. For what we paid, I would have expected a better quality and better customer service. I would not go again.

I really wanted to like this place, conveniently located, the space is clean and well maintained. I went there three different times for a fill. I had the same tech on the first and third visits. I felt like she was rushing and just trying to turn clients as quickly as possible and it shows in the quality of my nails. The last time she ran the file across my skin, because she was rushing, didnt draw blood, but it hurt. The place where the nail meets my skin is rough, and my nails are not consistent in shape/size. I feel like 3 times is enough to be certain that there is nothing relaxing about getting my nails done at Luxe.

They do such a great job here! I got my pedicure almost two weeks ago and just got a shellac manicure. The technician who shaped my nails was so thorough and paid attention to detail and asked me a few times to make sure they were exactly how I wanted them! Cindy painted my nails and she did a great job! They were funny, kind, and were very passionate about their work. I also love my pedicure! I got a French tip, and she did great work and it’s still looking flawless two weeks later. Definitely recommend this nail salon!

I was just recently in with my mom and wife for mothers day and we had a great time! The ladies were all so very kind and welcoming and even though it was my first time getting a pedicure, I truly believe It was the best pedicure in the city, they went above and beyond. There was a group of 8 of us that got a mani and pedi at Luxe last week before a wedding. Reservations were made but when we arrived they only had 2-3 employees available to do nails. One of the brides even had her feet sitting in cold water for over an hour before anyone did her nails. I felt that my pedicure was rushed and then sat for a half hour before getting my manicure. My manicure was terrible, I had several cuts around my cuticles and the employee continued to FILE MY CUTICLES on the fingers that were already bleeding. I will never waste my money at this place again.

Cindy did an amazing job! I tipped her more than I have anyone. Super satisfied. She does good with shaping and completed the look I needed!!She is awesome.

Mani, full set. Took just under an hour and cost $55. (Pretty standard). Very well done. Nail Tech was very thorough and noticed every detail. I wanted a natural rounded almond shape and a soft color with a litrle glam. She did great! My nails look beautiful

The service was ABSOLUTELY horrible. They never pushed my cuticles back. I came because they were able to get me right in. The worst decision ever. I asked what the basic price was for a basic set. Im not sure if that bothered them because they didnt answer right away they began speaking amongst themselves in their language and making glares. I showed them a few pictures of the designs I wanted and the lady that did my nails said that they could not do it. Then they called another lady over that was in charge and she asked to look at the picture. I showed the tech pictures of nails and asked if they could do this and how much it would cost. She replied too much money as if I could not afford the price. I replied by asking so you think I cant afford it? I should have walked out then. She again began speaking in her language and another tech came over and said something in her language and then said in English she doesnt know what she want. I knew what I wanted; they could not provide the service I wanted. But they are GREAT at POOR customer service. I was asked in the middle of getting my nails done to pay. I paid for the service before it was completed. Myself (African American) and other customers who were Caucasian were at the drying station together. They came and checked on the other customers several times. I was at the station before the other customers. NOT once was I checked on at all. What made the situation even worse was that the Caucasian customers were all asked to pay after they were done drying at the station before they left. I will NOT be back and would rather spend my money where I am valued. Never again will I go here or recommend it to anyone. My nails are two days old and looks like I already need a fill in and I kept having to ask the tech to put acrylic on areas that were lacking. EVERYONE should be treated fairly.

I have been to many nail salons in GR and Luxe is now my go to. The technicians are so kind and the environment is beautiful! They don’t rush you through or try to overbooked. They take their time and make you feel special. Their prices are good as well. Cindy dip a great dip manicure and shellac pedicure. I know my nails will stay looking nice for weeks!

Cindy is amazing! She always makes sure to fit me in to her schedule, and she’s so friendly to everyone around her. The quality of nail care is superb. My nails are always taken care of no matter what, and I’m always smiling when I leave. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Very nice staff and clean, only reason for 4 stars is my niece was disappointed,she couldnt get what she wanted done for nail art.she settled and later came out and told me how upset she was over it. Makes me sad i paid extra for her to be upset about it. My pedi was great tho!

Worst mani-pedi service ever. I got the basic pedicure, and the lady was not even paying attention to what she was doing. She gave me cold water to dip my feet in, did not scrub my feet well, and did not massage. And then they switched staff in between my pedicure. What did I pay 35$ for? Nail polish application that I could have done myself at home? And during the manicure, they cut my skin. And first applied regular nail polish when I had clearly asked for a gel manicure. And then had to redo. It’s like the staff doesn’t listen to what you want nor do they give you the time to pick the color you want. I am never returning to this place again, I had the worst experience ever. Anything but relaxing.

Absolutely amazing! Cindy was so nice and attentive to what I wanted for my nails. The colors were gorgeous and it was so comfortable getting them done. She was so nice and did an exceptional job! My first time getting my nails done and it was amazing!

Mary was great! She really took her time to make sure I was happy with the outcome. She was easy to talk to and get along with!
