I had to get my acrylics removed after my wedding for my job. Victoria made this experience so great for me! She took the time to soak off my acrylics, so my nails didn’t get damaged—and the process was completely painless! And to top it off, she completed a beautiful shellac manicure for me afterwards. She made the whole experience comfortable and I was able to have a really great conversation with her the whole time. I highly recommend her and this business!

My pedicure was great. My French Manicure, not so much. The staff are very nice, very clean, and professional. These are pic of me before I left the parking lot. The young lady that did my nails was a bit frustrated. I believe the product she was using was lumpy. She should have switched it out. Overall, a five for everything else.

Kim (the owner) was very polite and professional! She has an upbeat spirit, great sense of humor and you can tell she loves what she does. She is also very personable. My appointment lasted 1hr and 30mins. I paid $44 for full set with shellac. I tipped her 20%. She did take several breaks to answer the phone and book appointments so I believe I could have been out sooner but I don’t mind it. I respect that she was conducting business and I appreciate her taking her time with me. She was very patient as well because I spent the first 10mins trying to decide if I wanted dip or not and what color. I will definitely be back here! Thank you Kim!Update: 8/3 I went back for a fill and a Voesh pedicure and it was fabulous! I let Kim talk me into getting a “crazy” color for my 30th birthday lol at first she suggested hot pink but I ended up with this Barbie sparkly color plus rhinestones that I really like😊 she took her time and did an excellent job on both my feet and my hands!

Such a good pedicure and experience today! First time going and went in the morning, was not too busy then. The music wasnt too loud, there was no tv on - very relaxing and pedicure looks and felt great. Will definitely go again!

I have been a client of Rose for a little over 2 years. She is amazing, and always does a fabulous job on my nails. Kim, the salon owner, is also fantastic. I get compliments on my nails all the time. These ladies are like family now. Can’t say enough good things!

Nina was so great!!! She did such a fabulous job and was friendly and knowledgeable. She paid such attention to detail and was spot on with her technique. I could not recommend her more!! Best pedicure ever.

My friend Rachel and I came here for a girls day out. We had a lot of fun getting manicures and pedicures. The staff was so nice, friendly and professional; they made us feel so relaxed. I loved the way my dip nails turned out and recommend getting the acrylic tips. We will definitely come back in the future!

This was my first time at VV nail salon and it was amazing. The woman who did my nails was gentle and so kind. The music they played was great too. It was like an exact playlist of mine! The shop was very clean and clearly taken care of. Overall the experience was wonderful and I will definitely be going back.

I always use V V Nails. Clean place and the staff is good plus personable. Today I had Nina, loved her and she took good care of me.

These ladies did fabulous! I did a basic pedicure with shellac and manicure with shellac and these ladies did fabulously! I needed my nails done for a wedding and the rest of the bridal party got theirs done as well and we were all taken good care of! I highly recommend this location!

Pedicure was amazing and one of the best I’ve ever had but the manicure was awful! She rushed it and worked on another client at the same time, didn’t do my cuticles, shaped some of my nails round and others square when I asked for all to be square. I went because of all the great reviews but not sure I’m going back if they prioritize their weekly regulars after already starting my nails. I also asked for dip powder and because she didn’t want to take the time to work on my nails, she did a top coat of shellac with the UV light, which I didn’t want nor did she was if that was okay

I refuse to go anywhere else!! Everyone here is so talented and goes out of their way to make your experience better. They are very consistent with their work and I am always so pleased every time I come here. It’s usually so hard to find a reliable nail salon and I’m so happy to have found one!!!:)

The nail technician cut my fingers. She was rushing and servicing regulars at the same time. I ended up with cut up fingers. The nice nails were not worth the pain.

I came here with my Bestie for my birthday. It was my first experience with this salon and it will not be the last! The Jellie pedicure was really nice and they took their time and it was perfect. Both the shellac on my toes and the dip and tips on my fingers were the cleanest and nicest applications I have had.Clean, comfortable and nice place. The people are sweet and dont make you feel rushed even when busy!

Ive been to this salon multiple times and Im not a person who would previously get her nails done regularly. Once I started coming here in August I couldnt stop! Ive been to Rose, Ashley and Diana. All three do great work! Great service, great conversation and an awesome atmosphere. Will not be going to a new salon unless I move out of state. If you havent been to VV nails ...what are you doing?? Make an appointment with one of these 3 ladies asap! You wont regret it. :)

BEST NAIL SALON IN GR! Sorry for the caps lock but I was looking for a good nail salon for months after moving to GR and Im really excited to find one I love.They do a really great job on my nails. They always listen to what I want and double check that I like them and dont have any complaints. The shop is really clean, and their tools are all sanatized where you can see them.The atmosphere is also really nice, with pretty little touches that make it feel really calming. But most of all, I love their customer service. It is also the same few nail techs working, and the woman who runs it (I think her name is Kim) always makes you feel welcome and the entire staff is very professional. You also get free pop or water while there, which is nice! I also think their prices are spot on!I recommend this place to everyone I know looking for a good nail place!

I love VV nails! They are the only nail salon near Cascade/Grand Rapids that does a perfect job every time I go in. I see someone new most of the time and they all pay attention to detail and make sure I approve of the color, nail shape etc. Not to mention they are always on time and so kind! I have been to group salons before and I always feel rushed and it’s always impersonal. I was super impressed on how everything was ran and you weren’t just a dollar sign. Kim was fantastic and if we are back in town my daughter and I will definitely be stopping by again!!

I have gotten my nails done here twice before and have loved it. However, I just got one of the worst dip manicures I have ever had. The lady did not know what she was doing, she took over an hour to do my nails, made my fingers bleed and my nails look awful. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she still messed them up. I paid $46 dollars of the manicures and regret every penny I spent.

Kim was wonderful. Very relaxing experience. Took my sisters here after other plans didnt work out and Im very glad - Ill definitely come back. My first time visiting. I had an appointment, but had to wait 30 minutes to get started. Staff was very friendly and apologized many times for my wait. They made sure I was okay and communicated with me regularly. Mindy did my pedicure.She was very friendly and my nails look great! Will definitely be back! Very clean and great COVID precautions. Hand sanitizer everywhere and they screen all visitors before they are served.

Ask for Lee! Best shellac nail experience ever. He took the time to make every nail smooth and wow, perfect. All of the staff there get to know you by name and are friendly! Very very cost efficient as well. :) Used to go to da vi nails in gaslight village, but they kept charging different amounts for uneven nails.

Highly recommend the VV signature pedicure, the fresh orange and salt scrub are heavenly and it’s the best leg/foot massage I’ve ever had! Already looking forward to my next appointment. :)

My friend and I came into today and both got deluxe pedicures. I got a fill with gel polish and my friend got gel over her natural nails. Everything looked amazing and the salon was super clean. We will definitely be back!

This place was great! I called at 2pm and scheduled an appointment for 3pm the same day (On a Saturday). I got an Acrylic Full Set with Shellac and was out within an hour. Kim was super nice and Annie did an amazing job on my nails. She did exactly what I asked and didnt have any issue. I also like that they have a nice selection of darker shades. I hate going to a salon and they have 50 shades of pink and only 5 dark colors. I will definitely return!

I was looking for a good nail salon ever since I moved from Chicago and love it here! I’ve been using them now since 2019 and love them! Mindy is my go-to and she does an EXCELLENT job. My nails are finally long and healthy thanks to her! And she stayed late for me today!

I think anyone else who had my experience at V V Nails & Spa might give them a lower rating. I called ahead on a Sunday and was told they could fit me in at 4:30. I showed up a few minutes early and Kim, the owner, told me politely they were running behind. My dip manicure didnt start until 5:10. For a moment, I was upset that I was waiting this long. But then Kim explained that one of their staff members needed to leave early because their Father was in ill health. Kim provided such exceptional service. She was friendly and talkative and you can tell she really loves her salon! The other nail techs were equally as friendly. My dip manicure turned out great and was very inexpensive for the quality work. I will definitely be back. Also, Kim has the BEST color select for Gel, Shellac and Dip!

Expedient and expertly done dip-nails. Kim did a great job and I am so happy with my nails. Sometimes dip can look too rounded but not this time. It’s perfect and beautiful!

I was in Grand Rapids for a couple days (I’m from Maryland) and my poor busted nails were desperately in need of a manicure. I did a powder dip on my nails with Lee and Jasmine did a polish change on my toes. Both did a wonderful job taking care of me! Lee was fun to talk with, he was so very gentle with the dremel tool (I’ve thin, baby-like nails) and shaped my nails perfectly to my request, and his overall work was flawless. Jasmine was so sweet and made my toes look fantastic, even with just a polish change! If I’m ever back in Michigan and need a manicure or pedicure, I will definitely be back!! Thank you for doing such a great job and making me feel so welcome.

Very nice salon. Friendly people and they use covers in the pedicure tubs..I appreciate that sanitary measure. One thing that upset me today was that the girl working on me was clearly new and dropped the cuticle cutter and proceeded to pick it up off the floor and keep using it. Also don’t plan on getting in there in a timely manner . If you don’t make an appointment you’ll be asked to leave and come back later. Essentially accept no walk-ins. If you can get in however, they do a good job.

All the staff was so friendly! Very clean salon and I love that they use liners for the pedi bowls. Great color selection. I’ll be returning :)
