SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!! Frontier isabsolutely horrible and should be closed down as an internet provider. Ever you night around 9:30 the system shuts down. We have changed routers 3 times and a technician has been to our home twice. This is all within the last 2 months. Everyone says the same thing. It is a problem at the main controland they are working on it. I wish AT&T was in the city of GTCJ, This was written last night during the usual nightly outage at approximately 9:30 pm. As you can see .......its still out. There is no reason to message when its going to be the same song and dance.I took a chance and messaged...chatted with Ian and just like I thought......same old song and dance. It came on and now its back off.Absolutely a waste of time !!!!Buyer beware.

Relocating for work and set up installation for a time we would be in town as we havent moved yet. Scheduled trip for weekend and Frontier calls day before installation to set up an installation time. When they review, someone didnt see my deposit and cancelled my installation. Now trip is basically just site seeing instead of getting it set up for work from home.Why not contact me before you cancel? Sure they have 5 different people calling me to set things up and get payment but not a peep when they make an erroneous decision. Yep, typical big biz looking down on little customer.Cant wait for competition to get here with speeds we can use for work from home. Ill be first to jump ship.

For a company with the word Communications in the title they leave a lot to be desired. After asking pointedly three different times were they certain they could provide internet to my home, I scheduled them to come out on Tuesday 9/14/2021 between 1-5. Got to be about 4:30 and no show so I called and was told that the technician went to a central location and discovered that they could not provided this service. Did He/She or anyone bother to call me? Of course not!!!!I was told that the dispatcher would call by 8pm. So if I hand not called myself they would have left me hanging until 8 PM.I decided then and there to cancel, but that was a three call monty and on one of those calls I could clearly hear chickens clucking in the background of what might have been a third world country judging by the accent of the person on the line.Is this really the level of service we have come to. Dont do business with the company. They really stink

I understand that there have been massive issues with power and service with the current blizzard conditions, but I have been holding on the phone for over 4 hours, afraid to hang up and have to start all over. My requests for support via Frontiers live Chat and on FB and twitter have gone unanswered. There is no way to even report an outage other than through the phone. The Frontier website says there is no outage at my location, but weve been without phone service for 48 hours now.There absolutely MUST be a way to report issues online. This is ridiculous.

If I could rate this company lower I would! I tried to get internet service for my house and called Frontier. After hundreds of dollars in bills and many hours wasted on the phone I never received internet! Then they reported my to the credit bureau after admitting that they had been incorrectly billing me for service I didn’t not ever receive. Customer service will put you on hold and than after hours of waiting, the phone call will just end. When you call, no matter who you talk to, they will say that you need to speak with another department and transfer you or simply just hang up on you! I’ve never had an experience quite like this and it has significantly impacted my life because of the negative affects of have a bad report on my credit. I highly advice not to use this company at all cost!

I see almost nothing but negative reviews for this company but speaking the truth on my experience, I’m surprised that I had such a great experience with them. The internet speed I had with them worked fine for what my household required. My payments stayed exactly where I wanted them to be, they disconnected my service when I asked, and send me a final bill that was the rate I discussed with them. I’ve been so use to feeling deceived or cheated by company’s trying to get every penny out of you but was pleasantly surprised with frontier.

This company has almost no service every day. Gave them a 1 star rating so, I can post about the lousy service . Maybe, I should say the no service they provide. I call they tell me to unplug, push this and that etc. I have the same problems every day. Starts about 5pm every day till about 3am. They say everything is good on their end. They tell me we will do ticket and send someone out in about 4 days. No thanks! They say its just my line. Asked around town others tell me the same thing happens to their internet. Sad that a company runs a business like this.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I have a business land line with them and I have at least 1 ticket a week with them. The worst service known to man. I had an open ticket with them on Thursday, on Friday I received a text saying everything was fixed. Not the case, it was worse after the tech left. I called Frontier to tell them but they couldnt do anything but start ANOTHER ticket but the complete date on the new ticket is Monday. Now I have to try and run a business over the weekend with no phone service during this covid-19 situation. I have been on the phone with them for a total of 7 hours, 4 dropped calls(or hung up on), 12 miss transfers, and no one has any power to make any calls in their infrastructure. After all of this and the countless headaches from dealing with Frontier they charge premium prices with a service that is horrible. I am most defiantly switching services immediately.

Absolute WORST company Ive ever worked with. The only reason Im using Frontier is because there are no other providers in our area. We use Frontier for our business and constantly have issues with our phone and internet. My phones have been down several times and when I call for help, it takes a half hour to get someone on the phone only to tell me that they will help me resolve the issue in 48 hours. 48 hours?! So during that time, customers are unable to reach us and we are unable to make calls. This company is costing me thousands of dollars. Each time we DO get a technician out to resolve the issue, they just cause another issue once they leave. If you have a choice, do NOT use Frontier.

I set an appointment for service, the tech called and advised that their internet speed was extremely slow, which would not work for us. So I cancelled the appt. Next thing I know I receive a bill from Frontier, for what? They never came to my house, I have never had their service. I received bills from them for 2 months. ( I find it interesting that I am being billed for something I never had or used.) So, I call customer service to tell them TO stop billing me. Of course she said they will correct. It is now February 2020, this started back in Sept. of 2019. The billing never stopped, the last bill i got was for .01 cent, then the following month I get a check from Frontier for .01 cent. Now, I see I have another bill. This is insane, stop billing me I was never a customer!!!

Horrible service and false advertising. I was lied to over and over and took almost 2 weeks just to get my service and then when I do get it on finally its the slowest speeds ever, when I was promised high speed internet access. I wouldnt recommend this service to anyone. Then while canceling my service they said I had to pay for the bill when I didn’t even have the service on for 5 min. Terrible customer service and they won’t let you speak to a supervisor.

If there were no stars that’s what I’d rate them!!! I have had NON STOP problems with our internet for several years!!!! It CONSTANTLY drops for one reason or another (dropped as I’m typing this). They have had several technicians out here this year and not one of those times did anything improve. We only have one other internet option where we are and their reviews are just as bad!!

So Im a new homeowner and I was so excited for internet. I called and they were so helpful and nice when I was showing interest in using them. Then when I got it installed, that changed drastically. I couldnt use my internet and had to reset it every ten minutes to make it work again. I called customer service and they told me they cant help until tomorrow. So I called the next day and when a IT specialist answered they hung up after I was on hold for 30 minutes. Then I called again and was on hold for 40 minutes but got through to someone. But in the middle of them helping me, they hung up AGAIN. With no call back. So I called again and I was then told my wait time would be 90 minutes. I can gladly say this has been a life lesson Ill never do again

Was calling to report a customers of thiers service was out since is was not on the account they would not listen to me or sent someone out to check. He is 89 years old and lives by himself and has a monitor which works off the phone line. She would not even let me talk to a supervisor. Your not on the account nothing we can do. This is piss poor service we are stuck they are the only ones that service that area. Is this not why we broke up Ma Bell best telephone company ever! Dont use these people.

We have had Frontier for a few months and I have to say the customer service and tech support has been outstanding. You do have to wait on hold for a few minutes longer than other companies, but once you have a representative it has been great! They are knowledgeable and personable. Very patient with walking you through setting up and re-configuring certain things. Billing Support has been awesome as well.Its fast enough to stream Netflix and YouTube with out interruption or lag, especially since we live in a rural area. Less interruptions than when we lived in the city.So far so good!

This is the WORST service that we have ever encountered! Our business has lost money due to the our phones being down at least 2 weeks out of every month since I have been here with this company. We have made calls for open tickets and tech support which have never been explained to us nor rectified. As a business we are losing out on a lot of money and business for our loyal customers. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone. If this site had a negative rating other than 1 star than that is what it would be.

I had sudden stink for 2 years! I paid $90 a month for their top speed and never received it. With Frontier I pay $25 a month and have no problems! We have 4 people streaming at one time and the internet always works great!

The service people were polite. Couldnt understand half of what they said, but he did say sir a lot of times. Didnt help at all. Ater an hour and 43 minutes on the phone, with me jumping through hoops, he informs me that he cant help me and a technician will be dispatched ASAP. I guess in India, 5 days is considered ASAP.

I would stay away from these people!We made an appointment and they didn’t keep it they said they came and no one was home (my husband was home all day) then they said they would try again and be there (they never showed) the second time I called I was non existent, the third time I was hung up on, the fourth time the lady couldn’t get her computer to work and transferred me so then the next person I talked to seemed like he didn’t care at all and basically told us if the guy didn’t show just call back tomorrow! I cannot believe anyone would want to waste two days on internet installation! Needless to say we canceled our account/ installation appointment.Please stay away from these people!

Extremely disappointed with Frontier Communications. They promised fast internet and fast appointments. They cancelled two appointments because the never sent the dispatch. After five days, I finally got my installation and since day one the internet has been cutting in and out with 0.5 mbps upload and download speed. Ive had the service for less than a week and they are still wanting to charge us the $85 activation fee plus a bill for this month. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone!

The internet is always slow and unreliable. I am not even getting close to the download speeds Frontier assured I would be (which is 3-15 Mbps). There customer service reps are polite but are the most incompetent group of staff I have ever seen. If you have multiple options when it comes to different providers unlike me I strongly recommend you go with anyone other than frontier. Dont make the same mistake I did.

Worst customer service EVER! I actually cant even call it customer service and I would not even give them a single star but I have to in order to leave a review. Numerous outages with trouble tickets that Frontier would cancel as they said the problems were corrected in the office but no one checked with me to verify. The outage still existed. 9 trouble tickets were issued and each were cleared in this manner until. I finally fixed the line issue myself. It was a bad jack. The next issue resulted in a similar issue with a promise of a service date that came and went. I was told that I had the date wrong. No. I didnt. That was finally resolved after another trouble ticket. Now, another outage since 12/26/17. I reported it 12/27 and was told that there is an outside line issue and I was given an appointment of 8am to noon for 12/28. At 11:30am, I checked the website for the status of the appointment as I was also told that a tech would call me an hour before they arrived. And the trouble ticket now says JANUARY 9th 2018 as a repair date!! 2 weeks to wait for service on a line!! This is RIDICULOUS!!! I am cancelling my service as soon as I figure out my other alternatives. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Frontier communications makes it extra difficult and costly to discontinue services and billing. I have so far been misled on three occasions by customer support on closing my account. I am still being charged and I have not been given the box to return the equipment. They made sure to get my new address but only used it to update my billing. That took no time at all... They have no issue or hold up taking your money. But so many hurdles to jump and calls to make in order to return equipment or close an account (I am told no location to return in person, they have to send me a box for it to be shipped back...then what? where is the box? I have to trust frontier to acknowledge receipt and stop billing me??)... So far I am on the hook for $200 in fees without end in sight even when I called to cancel *before* my last billing period had even begun... They are keeping me on the hook for additional periods and dragging this out as long as possible. I will refer this deceptive trade practice to the Texas Public Utility Commission and Attorney Generals Office if this is not rectified before September 21st, Friday, 5pm cst, 2018.

The worst business in America. Horrible customer service. Bait and switch sales offerings. Awful product. A Blazing 12mbps at our house! Must turn off all devices when watching a movie. Horrible tech service. Waited all day with no phone call that they had gone to a similar address on the other side of town.Folks, this is the reason we MUST have full capitalist competition in this country. If these folks had any competition, any at all, they’d be out of business in a day.THE WORST PART IS THEY DONT CARE. My wife and I own a business and the best internet they offer is DSL...... Come on..... Really?!!!! I am surprised that they are not offering Morse code instead of phone service!! They have been the only provider in our area for the longest time, but there is a new competitior in town now, so we decided to go month to month. Since doing so, frontier has jacked up our phone and internet bill from our normal rate of $478 up to $852!!!! Are you kidding me??? This should be illegal!!! They will not do anything to help unless you sign up for a two year contract. We are not stupid enough to do this, we are just waiting a month until the build out for the new provider is done. I will be promoting the other company big time once we are set up with them. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS!!! Very disappointed with this company. From the date of installation, I never received their services. I had to call in immediately to have them come back out on a service call to try and get the service to work. After 48 hours of no service ever, I called to cancel the service and sent back their equipment being assured there were no charges to my account. Three months later, Im receiving collection calls AND was reported to the credit bureau...EVEN after never receiving their services, unbelievable!! After speaking with the collection agency and disputing the charges through them, mind you Frontier also shows no service received as well, Frontier stated they have no control over correcting the issue. Seriously?!! I have to go through the formal dispute process. They also consider the time in between you call in to schedule service and installation as part of their billing month! You actually bill people for service before the installation of your equipment, WOW!!!! I will never do business with this company and do not want any of my friends or family to do so either. :( Horrible business practices, customer service is not a priority with this company! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Oh my Frontier is The Worst!! After reading others reviews they have the ecan’t issues as I do!! Frontier customer Service is the Absolute worst anywhere!! They are horribly rude & mean! Although the tech side? The techs have always been great to speak with. Wow i came from Dripping & had Spectrum & thought they were the worse but you know? I want Spectrum back!!! I had an appt with Frontier when I 1st moved here. Well they never showed! I called next day & after waiting an hour was told they’d be out a week later!! The service could not be any worse. I stream am app on my tv & since I moved here I am unable to watch shows on that channel—it goes blank & back to home page over & over! So I have not been able to watch movies at all. Oh my so I called the place (Pureflix) & blamed them! Well after streaming a radio station which kept cutting out also whether I had it on my phone or TV I put a Roku movie in which started cuttin out & going to home page! My internet is horrible. Bad bad bad. I’ll be on a site on the laptop & it goes off saying “internet down”. That happened 6 times in an hour today. Horrible service. Please please somebody tell me who else I can use! I rarely had any problems with Spectrum yet I didn’t like it & after Frontier I canNot understand why I didn’t

The unfortunate part, Georgetown does not have many options when it comes to ISPs, and more unfortunate I have given Frontier TWO chances in the last few years to keep my business. Had to walk away again Jan. 2 2019, over a simple modem never being delivered. First of December 2018, called, ran test on modem, was told its not working properly, you need a new one, you will receive new one in 3 to 5 business days. No modem/internet service for three weeks while waiting on modem. Called back twice in the three weeks and was told by two different specialists its on its way. On Jan. 2 called because modem still not delivered, ask for a credit while I have had no internet service, was told we typically do not do that, so I stated I need to cancel service all together and went through process, SO I THOUGHT. Received email today 2-20-2019 stating draft was to be taken out, rep. today was very nice but stated from the notes on Jan. 2, I hung up to quick before it was cancelled. So I continued to be billed from Frontier for January and February. FUNNY THING, they love to tell you about notes and what I did or did not do, but did not hear one note about where the modem is. To still think I am a their customer, still billing me and taking my money, but yet I STILL have not received modem in over two months is RIDICULOUS!!! Gtown residents, go with another ISP if you have a choice. There prices are cheap, and you get exactly what you pay for!!!

Just talking to one guy I can already tell you this place sucks. He was rude, kept giggling like a girl when I asked him questions about connection and service availability to where I live. I wish there was a negative rating, because it would most definitely be used in my case.Paid for service in March 2018, it is now August 2018, and no one to this date has ever bothered to show up for install, but guess who still has my money???Yep, that would be frontier!I have called so many times and its always they will be there between 8/12 or 1/6, time after time and no one ever shows up.So sad to run a company that way.So, if your thinking of getting frontier, please think twice.If you owe them I am sure they would cut your internet off and turn you into collection, but its perfectly fine for them to steal your money and not install the service you have paid for!Frontier= lying thieves

Horrible service. We have been with them since they acquired the Verizon internet services and it has been horrible. We have spotty connection and slow connection speeds and all customer service does is pat you on the back and says everything is working fine. We have a 12 year old modem and router that they refuse to replace and if you look at their reviews for all their locations in Texas, they are all below 2 stars, even ones with hundreds of reviews. Dont get this internet provider, pretty much any other company will be better.This company had to go through bankruptcy and I wish they had just gone out of business completely.Final update: We have finally found a cheaper, faster, and overall better internet company and have left this one behind!! Internet has never been better. LITERALLY

I would give zero stars if i could. I signed up for a Direct TV and Frontier bundle. I took June 5th off work to have Frontier come set up. Thier time slot came and went, I never heard anything. I called them and asked what was going on. After they checked my account, they found It was changed to a self install...... Ive never had internet hooked up. So i rescheduled and TOOK A 2ND DAY OFF WORK UNPAID AS A SINGLE MOTHER!!!!! I hadnt recieved any confirmation emails, calls or texts (like Direct TV has the courtesy of doing). I got a bad feeling and called them. I was told no one was coming today to set up my internet. I was also told that I had been waitlisted, because theres too many people in this area using them. I told them I wanted to cancel my account. I was then transfered to a person who could do that. After waiting on hold for around 10min, I was hung up one, without talking to anyone. So I called bad even more upset, and got it canceled.My parents have had Frontier for a while. They have repeatedly tried to get a tech out to check on thier internet, with no success.

STAY AWAY FROM ANY SERVICE FROM FRONTIER...I never write bad reviews, but Frontier left me with no choice...I had Frontier Internet in Idaho and then moved to Texas. I needed to cancel my service with them in Idaho, besides, their internet service was horrible too.So, on my way to Texas, on May 31st, I called Frontier to cancel my service and I talked to Kayla (a service cancellation specialist) and she told me that shes going to put in a note so that I can get my money back for the prorated charges refund, that i will only be charged/billed from the 26th to the 31st of May, that i will get the rest of my money back.She then told me to call them again in 24 hours or in a few days to request my money.A few days later, i called and talked to Chayenne (another service cancellation specialist), on june 5th at 5:50pm ish, and she was not helpful at all to help me get my refund while i had been told by Kayla that i will get my refund when i call. I then asked for her supervisor or manager or someone who could do something.Then, she connected me to Taylor (Chayennes Supervisor) who was not helpful either rather rude and non-peofessional.From what he told me, i understood that Frontier is a rip off company. First day I spoke with Collin to set up service there were mistakes but he was great! Days later a lady calls me to do the same thing that I had already done I dealt with it and then was transferred to set up the day to have service installed ...this lady Refuses to let me speak to a manager per Penny was the lady I spoke with that sounded like an actual thug over the phone terrible attitude and put me on hold after speaking over me the whole time for 31 minutes ..I finally hung up and called back to speak with a manager named Stephen he sounded like he was totally out of it and it didn’t seem to phase him at all that I was just spoke to like this she was rude and worst service ever! Finally set up service exactly the way I did the first day and they charged my card for the deposit ....over a week later they never called or showed I took off work so I called back and spoke to the manager Mark who told me that they couldn’t do service in my area ...I was like what!? So after a conversation he told me that today the 26th techs would come out and try to run wire or whatever that they would be here this morning it was 2:30 pm nothing ! So I called back spoke with James and he was completely terrible I asked to speak to a manger and he said no everyone is busy .... I told him the managers name Mark and he replied who that ? I was like oh lord can I speak with another customer service rep he said no....I asked if he knew any of the names I have after 2weeks on the phone 5 times as of now and he said in a ghetto tone I don’t know these people....wow! I asked if he thought he was properly speaking to me as a customer and he hung up on me everyone is saying I don’t have a service order today and who’s Mark..now I’m on the phone with Marisa right now. Frontier sent the final bill to our geographic address instead of our mailing address after we moved out. We never received the bill. Months later I was contacted by a collection agency and responded by calling Frontier and paying the bill and asking them to remove the delinquent data from the credit reporting agencies. They took the payment and admit they sent the bill to the wrong address (even emailed me the copy of the bill) but will not remove the delinquent credit data. I have filed disputes with the credit agencies but they need Frontier feedback and Frontier will not help.

This company is the absolute worst! When my grandfather passed in Aug, I called to cancel on Sept 25th. I sent all documentation showing that I was the executor of his estate (Letters of Testament). They stated they would shut off service then. On Oct 10, they did not, I called. They stated they would get it taken care of. On Oct 20th service was still on. They stated they would get it taken care of. Today Nov 3rd, I received a bill. I am sick of wasting my time with these people. They are not going to get paid. I would have put ZERO stars if I could. Hours on hold and the stress that it comes with.. WHY!?

I used Frontier Communications in New York State and had no better luck with the service than these folks from Georgetown, TX. Service was spotty, often the internet was down and even after service calls, the internet remained unreliable. It was the only available service, so I was stuck. If you have other options, I suggest that you use someone else.

Worst internet service ive ever had.Shotty connection always dropping in and out,cant maintain a steady connection,when it does work its painfully slow and volatile.Maybe the area I live in has a factor but come on for what I pay it should atleast be adequate,cant wait to move.

Very good customer service, but as for the actual internet service. Its horrible. I have had it for 10 days & spent most of the days on hold with tech support. Crappy, crappy service in this area.

They charge you for their phone service before its connected. how do you charge a customer for service when your number hasnt been ported over and their internet service stinks.

Too much to list....WORST company, and I have Uverse for residential service. Commercial service is atrocious. I wish somehow Georgetown would fix this monopoly issue

SLOW and not reliable--ALWAYS. Called customer service rep today to report it has been down most of the day and we were told it will take a day for a technician to come out and check it.

Messed up our phone service to where we cant get voicemail for weeks/til next cycle so we cant get messages from ours sons doctors office (and for whatever reason, they insist in call our home number). Plus, messed up phone service to where were not sure what would happen/where theyd get routed to if we called 911 and needed to. Seemingly, they have no concern about this.

Please do not trust in this awful company, check the story from the guy below (about collection and bureau issues) that happened to us as well, they want to charge money even not using this company anymore, so please look somewhere else, I know theres a few options but you will regret having them on your bills sooner or later.
