Was seeking a different way to tour the Beale area and river front with my in-laws. While i expected a campy tour, Kendall, her horse Daisy, and co-pilot dog Jupiter were a sheer pleasure to experience the downtown area with. Kendall did an amazing job describing the downtown area as we rode past sights and answered all of our questions. She shared tremendous love of her horse and gave us confidence that the business truly cares for its animals. Would hands down recommend this company for tours of the area or any carriage needs.

Best carriage ride in Memphis! Most professional and friendly. I had the opportunity to go to the property and hand pick my carriage that was amazing! The horses are well tended to. They are happy, healthy and friendly. Im an animal lover so that was very important to me. My driver was extremely professional. I used this service for my fathers funeral and our emotions were high, Uptown carriage Co. was sensitive to our needs and supported us every step of the way. I will definitely use them again!Special thanks to the owner Mark the staff and drivers and the horses we cant forget them!

Our carriage ride was absolutely perfect. Our driver was excellent and very friendly. This was be far my favorite thing to do in the city. We chose a time right before sunset and it was perfect timing to see the sunset by the river.(15-30 mins before sunset)

Really enjoyed my family & I 1st Carriage ride. It was a little pricey for such a short amount of time, but time flies when your having fun. Good thing I was able to bring my fur baby & we played music of our choice. I would definitely ride again. You get what you pay for so I dont mind. I will get it for a longer trip next go round! The horse we had was Shaniya and the driver was Ward, he had his doggy too! Tip isnt included when booking and your receipt will let you know after payment. Thanks Guys!!

They didn’t tell us where to meet, so that was the first problem . Then we did finally find them, and the ride began ( the driver was nice )When I called and made the reservation though, we were made to pay a tip in advance, along with the price of the ride . We paid 74 dollars for 20 minutes ! or you couldn’t book . NEVER have I EVER had to tip before service ! This is ridiculous. Then we didn’t get the full 30 minutes that we paid for, because we were late . Again, not our fault since we didn’t know where to meet . Just wanted a sweet and beautiful moment to take away from the havoc of this mess we’ve had forced upon us that is called corona ! Will not be utilizing this particular companies services, Ever again ! Oh well, live and learn . Hope you all read this and learn from mine and my husband mistake, Without paying for it first !

What a fun thing to do!!! Leo was our driver with sweet Rock! Leo lets you play your own music, and is super interactive and fun! This was a birthday surprise for me and boy was it the best part of my birthday! Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely be picking Leo again!

This was a surprise for my daughter 15th Birthday and it was so much fun. She had a ball we had Leo the driver he let us play our music and made the ride much more enjoyable and relaxing. I will be doing this again for my birthday.

My wife and I took our first ride with Uptown last night. The carriage was nice and clean and the driver was very friendly. However, we did not receive the full ride for which we had paid. We reserved the one hour “Old Man River” tour, but the ride was over in around 50 minutes and never went to Tom Lee Park or the river walk. I understand it was pretty chilly last night but we basically paid $125 for a $95 tour.

We booked our wedding the day before and it was perfect. The carriage was spotless. Our driver was great. Setting of wedding in park overlooking both bridges was beautiful. Booked minister and photographer as part of package. We thought this was a cool and romantic way to get married. Recommend it.

This is an experience like no other. Our guide Tessa was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Memphis area and took us on a fantastic tour downtown. Our horse Tom was an expert navigator. They even let us bring our dog along. Thanks

My husband and I did a night time ride on our honeymoon. It was very romantic and sweet! The driver was just a little talkative, but don’t let that stop you, it’s still a lot of fun!
