Core 24 responded to my online request for a quote, within minutes. The crew got here within a couple hours, on a July Saturday, in Rehoboth.Robert was the manager on site. ARE did an exceptional job getting rid of some mold growth under our house. They were responsive to all if our questions and the job was performed by 2 exceptional young men. A&R are simply first class. The office and field staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We have used them for a variety of services and most recently hired them for a duct cleaning. Almost immediately, I received his email with the job estimate, which included a military discount to honor my husband. Stephen was here all day for two days straight, with helpers Conner and Jordan. I think its important to note that though they worked for hours on end, never once did they get frustrated, or curse, or show anything but the utmost respect for my family and myself. We needed our HVAC systems with vents and returns cleaned, but we wanted someone that was NACA certified. They also found some mold, and quickly treated that as well. The service was excellent. The repairman couldn’t have been better. My hot water heater leaked and my crawl space had a large amount of water on the plastic. All work was done in the same day they were called. The manager did all the work and he took pictures before and after his work was completed. He knew I was a new widow and he couldn’t possibly been more helpful or kinder. I would definitely recommend A &R.

I can’t say enough good things about A&R Environmental. I contacted them in Sept 2019 when I noticed mold growing on a wall behind a piece of furniture. They arrived within 24 hours and did a thorough assessment and determined several walls, ceilings and floor tiles had a reading of 99% dampness. It was much worse than I had originally thought. They helped me trace the source of the water leak to two neighbors above me, whose HVAC had been flooding. They immediately brought in a HEPA air vacuum/scrubber to pull mold spores out of the air, and dehumidifiers to dry up the moisture. They installed a plastic barrier for mold containment and opened up the walls, removing all mold. When removing drywall, floor molding and door trim; they were very meticulous and cut neat lines that made it easier for a contractor to come in behind them and repair the damage. It took about a week for the moisture to dry up, but they came every day to document everything with photos and moisture meter readings. The technicians (Steve, Robert, Dylan) answered all of my questions and concerns, and explained things that were easy for me to understand. Because the flooding mainly affected my laundry & HVAC room, they coordinated with a 3rd party company to remove my HVAC and hot water heater so that moldy walls could be removed; and later coordinated for them to be reinstalled after my contractor did the wall repairs. They also cleaned the air ducts to ensure the mold had not spread throughout the house. They were so good at the mold remediation and water mitigation that both neighbors also affected by the flood also used their company. A&R coordinated directly with my insurance company, as well as the company of the neighbor who caused the flood and ensured me they would work with me to develop a financial plan to pay any costs that the insurance companies did not. A special thanks to Nathalie and Lauren who called and emailed me regularly with updates and assurances. A&R went beyond my expectations and not only eradicated the mold from my house, but throughout the process ensured my health and safety was their top priority. I hope I never had to use their services for mold remediation and water mitigation again, but I would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

I used this company to remediate a crawl space, remove mold and install a vapor barrier. I cannot attest to the job because I actually cant get into the crawl space but they were very courteous and timely.

I had a water line to my ice maker rupture. This is my second home so the water ran for a few days. A&R was refered to me by a friend. I called them about 6:00 pm on a Saturday and they arrived within 2 hours. They had all the right equipment to extract the water and dry things out. The first night they worked till 3:00 AM. They continued on with removal and replacement of insulation and the vapor barrier. They did some mold mitigation in the crawl space which wasn’t covered by insurance but needed to be done.One of the things that really impressed me was the response to telephone calls, text messages or emails.Robert, the manager, always answered calls or got back to me quickly.As an Electrical Contractor, in business for 45 years I would highly recommend A&R Environmental.David Bitner

We recently had an ice maker line break causing major water damage to our secondary home in Selbyville, we were devastated as the damage was severe and our only saving grace was this company . Robert was there within hours and stayed until wee hours of the morning . A&R was fantastic. Wes came out immediately to assess the damage caused by a water leak from the refrigerator. When dealing with insurance, I wasnt sure how long it would take to get started or how much it would cost. They called the next day and said they could start the following day. It took 10 days for them to take everything up and dry, which was amazing considering how much damage there was. The guys who came out, Rob and Steve, were knowledgeable and worked all day. Felt like wed been long-time friends. Wes took care of handling the insurance claim and submitting all the correct documentation. I literally didnt have to do anything. Natalie called regularly to give updates on the progress of the work, and every time I called, she answered. I never had to leave a message. I would recommend them to anyone, large projects or small. Wes and his A & R team are amazing in every respect! After contacting them, they were on the scene immediately with a plan for remediation of the water damage caused by a broken pipe. They know what they are doing and the work was done in a thoroughly professional and timely manner. When they finished, they left with everything totally neat and organized. We have had some experience with other remediation companies before we found out about A&R and we would never use anyone but A&R going forward. We cannot say enough good things about A&R and highly recommend them!

My experience with A&R Environmental was absolutely wonderful! The owner, Wes, and his best friend Steve, were the most educated young men that I have ever met in reference to mold remediation and encapsulating. Natalie, who is Wess wife, was very accommodating and kind to work with, in reference to forwarding contracts, certifications, and other paperwork to me. I have been dealing with the moisture in my crawlspace for 31 years, and have spent thousands of dollars attempting to keep it as dry as possible. I even paid a mechanical engineer to look at the crawlspace to get his thoughts, and he felt I was doing the right thing by leaving it open with power vents. This was totally wrong, because mold was growing on the joists, and it even got into the duct work, which meant the mold spores were coming into the house, and we were breathing in toxic mold. A&R took out all of the wet insulation in between the joists, cleaned the mold off of the joists with special products, and sealed every nook and cranny in that crawlspace so not one stitch of air could get in or out. The grand finale was placing a high-tech, very small dehumidifier into the crawlspace to capture all of the humidity to keep everything dry. Well, I have never been so happy in my life, because our crawlspace is now as dry as it can be after 31 years of total frustration and money. I would highly recommend Wes and Steve to anyone doing mold remediation and encapsulation. Wes, the owner is very particular and very much a perfectionist about his work. His compassion about his job performance is over and above the regular contractor in todays world... I honestly cannot say how pleased I was with the job, and how wonderful this company truly is!
