I just love there place so much is so blessed in my life because I just need place like there to training, the personal training Nico is the best, help me to prepare to my physical exam, and thank God I found the best place who have everything, so clean and so many nice people. I love !!!! I recommend 💯 the also have other activities, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna is fantastic, my family love it just like me, I can’t wait when my sister come enjoy it too!!🌟. Also I like yo say, I pass in my physical Exam for the fire department EMS academy FDNY, and thank God I have Nico to training me, he told me I can do, and I Believe. Nico motivates us, even in difficult days… on the day of my exam I remembered the word he said to me: ‘’go on, I promise youll breathe when its over’’… best word to strengthen my mind!!! Healthtrax small group training has been a great success in helping me stay physically fit. Each class provides a variety of exercises. The instructors are professional and highly motivated. They provide a safe and enjoyable workout. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and sanitized frequently. This is a perfect place for a workout.

I have been attending the muscle challenge class and spin classes. Both are new to me and most challenging. I have been a member a for about 5 years. I also take aqua classes and have found the instructors to be very motivating and encouraging. I also have to recognize the cleaning staff for their dedication to keeping the gym clean and organized. When Healthtrax reopened I had no hesitation about taking classes and was overjoyed at seeing my gym friends again. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow.

If it wasn’t for The Garden City Healthtrax the pandemic would have been much worse. It is my “happy place!” The whole staff is so friendly, professional an all around nice people. The gym is so clean and Denise, Chris and Sharon go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of!

This gym keeps bankers hour and blames it on the pandemic. I work all day and would like to use the gym that I pay for and they have cut their hours and are now closed on Sundays. This is not what was sold to me in my membership. The staff could care less when you discuss it with them. It has been almost a year now. Every other gym is maintaining normal business hours. Healthtrax should re-reimburse members for loss of use or extend membership accordingly. I believe they are short staffed and not hiring. Lets hear a response from Healthtrax!

Staff goes above and beyond to keep the gym extra clean. The trainers are all experienced, the gym has great equipment with specifically dedicated areas for certain workouts. Locker room, pool and group classes all add to the experience.

It’s such a nice and clean place! They have a great amount of classes! they are very proactive with cleanliness and keeping the members happy I would recommend this gym to anyone!!! I haven’t seen a gym this nice before

Be careful with this business . I signed up at my local Healthtrax for a pay ahead full year membership, only for them to quickly shut down and refuse to refund the money. This happen to myself as well as many senior citizen who paid ahead for classes and personal trainer fees. My advice is to think before committing to anything long term with them. Don’t let what happened to me happen to you

Absolute WORST GYM management ever. I called several times to try canceling my membership, and they state you need to come in. So I go in, and lo and behold, there is nobody available to help me. I wasted all that time to get there when it could be done over the phone. I was told that I wouldnt get charged for the month, but surprise surprise, I AM billed for the month. COMPLETE lack of consideration for people who cant drop everything to run over there on their specific hours. DISAPPOINTED and disgusted. Dont waste your money or time with this gym.

Buyer Beware. Onerous Cancellation Policy. I called to cancel this membership because i had moved to FL to care for my father, who has cancer. I was told I must either come in personally or go stand in line at the post office in the middle of a Pandemic (after explaining I am caring for a immune-compromised person) in order to MAIL to them via CERTIFIED mail a letter of cancellation & proof of having moved!!!

I was there today and felt very safe with how this gym has adapted to Covid-19 guidelines. Plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes available. Closed off areas and spaced out equipment. All patrons and employees were wearing mask Properly. If this gym can keep up the good work and have Zero Tolerance for anyone that refuses to adhere to the Covid rules, I will definitely be returning.

I wish they open until 7pm on weekends.

Most of the gym goers here are older; everyone is nice and open to conversations. The gym is very clean and well maintained.The gym is outfitted with a machine section for cardio (treadmill-types), a machine section for strength building, a stretching section with mats, and a free weights section with dumbbells bench weights and barbells.There is a salt water lap pool with 2 lanes, a warmer pool for aqua exercises and new swimmers, a hot tub, and a sauna. There are also classes throughout the week that is included in your membership.Personal training sessions are available as well!

I do recommend this gym if you are a customer but I do not recommend this gym if you work as a personal trainer, and if you want to work for this gym as a trainer unless you have your clientele or another job to support you until you get your clientele I wouldn’t recommend it to work as a trainer. This gym has the best equipment it’s very sanitary provides sanitary wipes and they work with a hospital which is always positive if you’re trying to get clients from the rehabilitation. The staff is very nice and super professional and the place is always clean. As far as working as a trainer would not recommend because the gym does not really help to get you clients And only very rarely they give your clients if someone cannot train them or needs someone to take their work shift. Gym makes you work the floor shift for below minimum wage which is about $12 per hour (not sure how it’s legal in NY). The management has flooded the floor with too many personal trainers and there’s not enough clients to go around so you always have to work two jobs to pay your bills. And they fire you for underperformance if you don’t get enough clients or can’t work their 8am $12 floor shifts. You might as well work for your self as a trainer.

Love this place. However fire stairs need to be cleaned if escalators are going to not work, which is 98% of the time. Also, need an exterminator. There was a roach in the ladies bathroom a few weeks ago. Still, love it here.

Im very pleased with Healthtrax in Garden City. Their facilities are clean and well-organized. I cannot emphasize the cleanliness of this facility enough over other gyms in the area. The employees and clientele are polite and unobtrusive, and the prices are definitely worth it, especially when it comes to adding on other family members.

Super clean and well maintained. Has everything you would want in a gym facility with locker rooms....including heated pool,sauna,hot tub and a lot of classes.Hospital affiliated and adjoining therapy accomodations.

Awesome staff and great facilities! Recently upgraded from inside and its best place for a workout.They have equipment for all types of classes and exercise.

Been going to this gym for over 4 years. Low cost membership with a variety of activities to do. They even have a jacuzzi if you ever need to unwind and relax! Friendly staff and a clean establishment. Love this place.

Nice, clean gym. Could use some updated equipment, but otherwise, a good experience. Very nice locker rooms and I love that theres a separate area for women to work out.

I have been a member at many gyms in the past paid anywhere from $20-$99 a month and I will tell you this place is the best, so much for your money. Its clean, luxurious, great staff. 2 pools, a hot tub, steam sauna, a spin bike room, aerobic room, circuit training, free weight, tons of weight machines, treadmills, ellipticals and so much more. all for around $80 a month!

Very nice spaced. But trainers think they can take over the place. The same trainer will take up four or five different stations and their panties get in a ruffle if you try to use something they aren’t even using.Very frustrating.

Been here only a handful of times so I have very limited info on this huge facility. Easy to find N there is a parking lot in the rear.

You get what you pay dues for at this gym. 💸 Very few lunks in the weight room. 🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♀️ Many treadmills🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️and cycles 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️. Pools 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️ . Choice of great trainers.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ As soon as people start giving up on New Years resolutions it wont be as crowded.😂🤣

Best aqua classes around. Showers are in need of major fixing

The flys in the bathroom have to go, been a member for 2 years now. Flys have been in that bathrooms since day one. Taking a shower with them sucks, sometimes they are so aggressive they fly into you. The staff cleans, dont get me wrong. Always see them cleaning, an exterminator is what that place needs. The equipment also needs to be fixed & updated. The only positive is the place, most of the time is empty. The crowd is old & slow so for a young person no one will get in your way.

There are flies in the showers and the bathroom. I have complained about it multiple times. I am given a variety of excuses, the most common being that it is a problem for the buidling owner and the gym cannot correct it.The machinery is old and broken down.The corners of everything from the machinery to the carpets are dusty. Like years of dust.The whole place has a musty smell.

Ive been a memember at this gym for about 3 years now and its certainly gone down hill. The facilities are nice and its never too crowded which I like but for the amount they charge I expect much more. Things always seem to be out of order and the annual fees and increases are unreasonable. I recieve a lower price per month because of the time I signed up at $70 per month which I still think is high for what Im getting. I cant imagine having to pay full price for a slightly above mediocre health center. They do very little to retain customers, just seem to be interested in locking people into contracts.I must say though the hourly staff, trainers and front desk are incredibly friendly and a big reason as to why I havent left just yet.

I liiked the Zumba, but some of the people are very territorial with their places in the class; very rude as a matter of fact. If you get there first, why does it matter where you stand? And, its very annoying people when class isnt over yet and the people are already walking in. I guess thats what happens when the instructor is just as rude. I started taking the aqua Zumba, its much better than the regular dance class.

Shower place smell like urine sometimes, the quality has gone down recently. Not going to renew the membership.

The gym is nice but it is absolutely impossible to cancel a membership and they will continue to charge you for months after you comply with their draconian policies.

I called the gym for a price on a 1 year membership.the rep told me they dont give price over phone;come down to the gym; So i go to the gym which is located in the basement and ask for a price.i was told i would have to fill out a questionaire before i would be helped.All i wanted to know was a price for a one year membership and i have to get a hard time for a simple answer.
