Segcity was awesome. Our tour guide Asa was very knowledgeable and engaging to all guests. He showed us how to ride and let us just have fun. I would suggest this to anyone that wants to just have fun and learn anything about the Strand. Great job Asa.

That was so much fun. Takes a few minutes to get used to the Segway. It the best way to get around town. You could go on sidewalks just anywhere. More easily than a car. Tour guide was good.

I made reservations with Dee she was knowledgeable and informative on the different tours which help me make our decision on which one to take. Showed up all reservations were there and met Asa. He was so great, professional, knowledgeable about all the history, and just a cool guy.. My party of 4, aged 10-38 loved everything about the 2 hr tour. He even included some spots that I could met them at, as I couldnt ride with my 3 year old, that was great. Highly recommend this company, Dee and Asa.

We had a great time riding the segways and learning about the history of Galveston. Our tour guide was informative, professional and friendly. I recommend it to everyone capable and would do it again myself. I have spent a lot of time in Galveston and wasnt expecting to learn much; however, I was surprised at the guides knowledge of the buildings etc.

Took the tree sculpture tour.. Asa did a fabulous job of adding value to the tour with interesting historical tidbits and by sharing recommendations of local eateries & activities. He had the backstory on many of the sculptures. Excellent experience.

My boys had a blast!! They got to tour some parts of Galveston that I never knew existed....all while doing it in style!!! They really enjoyed this experience. The instructor (I think her name was Dee) was nice and funny!! If youve never been on one of these, this is a great place to do it!!!

Tours are always great.Asa wasnt too much of a hurry. He didnt always let everyone catch up or speak clearly all the time.You can always learn a lot on the tour.

This was fantastic tour that went through the historic district of Galveston. We got details on the history of Galveston. The wealthy that lived there back in the day. As well as a listing of local restaurants on the island. One of the best ways to see the sights in a short time!

Booked this tour for Haunted Legends but as it would turn out it was more of a generic vague version of all the tours they offered. Our guide was patient and helpful in teaching us to use the segway but the tour itself was very disappointing. Our guide spent too much time discussing government conspiracy theories and Hollywood stars who have enough money to pay off judges.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever had. We did the sculpture tour with Antonio! Hecwascsnacubg, interesting and so knowledgeable about Galveston! Not only did we see numerous tree stump sculptures but he included history and the historical district housing as well as a few mansions!! This was a while island tour of history, facts and fun all rolled into one. I urge you to ask for Antonio because he was terrific!!

The Segway tour of Galveston was awesome!! We saw lots of different things including historic properties. I learned that any building the great storm of 1900 got a plaque. It was amazing!! Highly recommend

We had an amazing time on the Segway tour. It was just myself and my family and we were given a tour of the historic area of the downtown. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave great instruction on how to use the Segway. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to see Galveston from a different angle.

We went during the winter. This tour was the highlight of our trip. The history and sights were amazing. I never would have guessed Galveston had so much to offer! If you do one thing in Galveston I would do the Segway tour.

We had a lot of fun and guide knew a lot about Galveston history. Reason for the four stars is we paid a higher price for the full tour only to find everyone else paid for the shorter tour and stayed with us the whole time. :(

We were in Galveston on a gloomy day, but the Segway tour made it a perfect day! Asa gave a very interesting and entertaining historical tour. I have done a lot of tours in Galveston, but I learned so much on this 2 hour historical tour.

Awesome experience! Segways always looked very tricky but I was very surprised at how easy they are to ride! In minutes I had the hang of it. Lile is the best; she was super cool and made the tour very enjoyable. I learned a lot about Galveston and as time went felt even more comfortable on the Segway! I definitely recommend SegCity to everyone. Cant wait to ride them at other places across the state...I kept telling her that I like NEED to get me one. They are a blast I swear!

I have teens and they all loved it. The guide was really informative. He showed us a little of everything. I think this is what the kids liked the most. Best part is it got them off their phones for a while and they got some fresh air.

We loved it. Took us about 5 minutes to get the hang of it, after that it was great. Explored all of Strand, through the city streets viewing historic homes, down to the SeaWall to Pleasure Pier, and then back to the Strand for ice cream.

You have got to do this! This business staff was professional, safety minded, patient while teaching how to ride and teaching safety. The girl in the office taught each of us to ride then another man took us on the ghost tour. I had no idea the tragic events that have taken place in Galveston. He gave us breaks when we needed it and kept us safe at all times. This is a FAMILY thing to do. If you are like us and travel with teenagers - you will be so happy to bring them in this !!!Usually we get this is boring, boring, boring. But not with this! Our 16 year old LOVED IT!IM DEFINITELY going to be a repeat customer. A+

This is our second time to go to the Segway tour and they accommodated us since I’m prego with twins to use golf cart instead of segways and they took me and my husband around and told us history of the area I had the beat time on this tour prolly my most fav if u want the best experience you need to take this tour last time we were here we did the segways and that was super fun we will be back to do this again next time we come to Galveston!

Asa was a wonderful tour guide. Excellent tour. We really enjoyed ourselves. Segways were in good working order. The only thing I wish they had was headsets so that we could all hear our tour guide through out the tour.

Amazing! We did the history tour and it was great. Our guide Dee showed us all these amazing spots. Gave us great local insight into island. She told us about the amazing history. Showed us some of tree carvings on the island. Im so glad we did this on the first day here. It changed our plans completely and I think our trip is a million times better for taking this tour.

Asa is so nice, cordial and knowledgeable. Told us all about activities in the area, some free like jazz and art show gatherings, and the best places to get local cuisine.

My husband and kids went. They had a great time, the owner/tour guide was awesome, and very knowledgeable. My husband forgot his credit card, and the owner brought it to us. Not many people like that anymore. Will definitely do again next time we are here.

Had an awesome time with Asa, our guide. First time riding on a Segway, but myself, my wife, and son picked it up quickly.We did the 2.5 hour Magical History Tour, and it was over too quickly. The time just flew by. We had a private tour, which was awesome.Asa was very knowledgeable and interesting, He took us through the Strand, the historical area, where we saw very ornate Victorian houses from the 1800s, and tree sculptures carved after the destruction of Hurricane Ike in 2008.We also spent some time riding along the Seawall.We would highly recommend this company. You wont regret taking a Segway tour with them during your time in Galveston. We absolutely loved it!

We (two 14 year olds and myself) had a blast with John Paul as our guide on the 2 hour history tour! It was worth the $$! He made it a lot of fun and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. We enjoyed hearing about things we never knew about Galveston and hearing stories about several of the historical sites and homes. This was the most fun part of our vacation here and I would recommend it as a first day activity while vacationing so you can get great ideas on places to eat and other sites to visit while in Galveston.

The two-hour sunset tour gave us a lot of riding time with plenty of breaks. We got to see all the good parts of the island. It sure beats walking or driving around yourself.

Such a wonderful experience! We have done many tours in Galveston and around the states. By far this is the best tour that me and my wife have been on! The segways are very easy and a lots of fun to ride. We were provided with safety training by our Tourguide Asa and in matter of minutes we were ready to ride:) He was very patient, knowledgeable of the history of the Island and most importantly he showed us the most beautiful sites of Galveston.I would give 10 stars if I could. We would recommend it to everyone and will be back again.👌

Way easier than it looks like it would be. VERY fun. We will do it again and we are considering buying one for home too. The guide did an excellent job and afterwards told us about dinner great eateries.

I get that Im a total novice but I feel that our group was too large with too little training to be able to keep up with the guide crossing and riding in busy streets. I will say that our guide had a really good personality and have lots of interesting facts about the city.

It is a little pricier than other activities in Galveston, but the segway tours really educate you on the history of the town and the historical buildings/landmarks in the area. Our tour guides name was John Paul and he was fun to follow around and ask questions. If you can balance yourself on 2 legs, you can ride a segway!

Segway city one of the best ways to explore ans get to know the island of Galveston. They go above and beyond in telling u everything about it. And plus ur riding on a Segway which is one of the coolest thing u can do.

Very dishonest company. On December 27th we paid for a tour. It was supposed to be 73 and sunny but the weather changed in the morning to 48 and rainy. My husband, daughter and I were the only people on our tour. The very nice guy with the braid called the owner Dee’s husband to ask if we could have a refund and he said YES. Dee was supposed to show up because she was doing the tour. She didn’t show after a 1/2 hour and we were told that the charges would be reversed as soo as she showed. January 2nd I called and talked to Dee who said the charge was reversed but she would do it a second time. Here we are January 8th and my credit card company said they never reversed any charges. Can we say completely dishonest? Yes we can!!!

Bet segway tour me and my family have been on and we have been to pretty much all their sister companies I dont remember the guides name but he had long hair and I mean long and a beard great personality and knew a lot about the island I will be coming back
