The trip was great. Captain Caroline was awesome and did great explaining to our two pre-teen girls everything they needed to know to out fish their dads.

Unbelievable experience compared to the numerous charter companies Ive used previously.Capt. Caroline was knowledgeable and great with the kids, all while teaching them the importance of safety.We caught fish the majority of the trip, with 3 people catching their personal best trout!Everyone got the shark they wanted and we all went home satisfied.Ill be back soon! Thanks Caroline and Archie for making our vacation perfect!

Take your money elsewhere. Wasted my time with very unprofessional customer service. I would give ZERO stars if google allowed me to. This is BS and is a joke. I would have had a better experience just watching fishing YouTube videos. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We needed a break from our heavy work schedule so my brother flew in from California an we drove down from dfw . Weather wasn’t our friend so our Saturday trip got moved to Sunday but it ended up working out well - it meant we got a whole day in Galveston on Saturday. Everyone on the boat were down to earth and fun . We caught several king fish and red snapper . Saw the sunrise on the way out . As a newbee to ocean fishing I’ll share that if you too have never done this be prepared to be very wet on the way out an the way back . We did off shore fishing . All the way around it was a good experience. We will do it again I am certain .

Our other charter overbooked the day before we were set to fish and we were left scrambling. I reached out everywhere and Angler had an open slot, it was a little cheaper than our original charter and they made it happen in less than 12 hours. We took two girls under 10 and they caught catfish, trout and even a hammerhead shark. Would absolutely use them again and they came through for us when others let us down.

We had Captain Caroline for a 4 hour trip. Very nice folks and a good 30 Boston Whaler. Shes very good.

HORRIBLE!!!! Came from out of town, booked hotel rooms, showed up as scheduled to be told they werent taking us out. First the story was there was a glitch and they over booked. Then the story was they had a more profitable opportunity for the boat we were booked for. No remorse, so unprofessional, didnt care one bit that we came from out of town, made child care arrangements, travel arrangements everything. Then we so luckily ended up finding an afternoon charter out of Surfside and coincidentally when we tell them about it, Archie did the same thing to the deck hand when he was in school in Galveston. They dropped them because a better trip opportunity arose.

Wow, I read the reviews and still took a shot with them. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE GUYS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET STRANDED AT THE DOCK DOING NOTHING THAT DAY. Archie was so rude, he decided to take a different group instead of us. At the marina, we heard that this is not his first time doing this either. We showed up ready to fish 1 1/2 early at the dock, come to find out he chose to take a different group out because they were going further out and spending more money. Keep it up Archie, your horrible customer service and the way you treat people will bite you one day. The way he treated us, his attitude, and the lack of remorse was unreal. Please, please, please save your money and time and do not go with these guys.

Weather was not ideal but Capt. Caroline was efficient in communicating and providing sound input. While or on the water there attempts to fish on different spots while Devin her assistant shared stories about their success on different fishing trips. Wee could not have asked for a better boat for the weather we were dealt. All in all, Caroline made the experience as good as it was. Thanks Capt.

Save your time and money! We booked a trip with Archie several months in advance to be told upon arrival “you are not going out on the waters today” his reasoning at first was because he double booked us, and then he said it was not profitable for him to bring us and he had just decided that the morning of. (What kind of reason is that? We are paying customers)We tried calling the evening before to make sure we were still on and he didn’t answer. We traveled from out of town, had hotel rooms booked, paid for a baby sitter. And it was all a waste. He was so rude and unprofessional!

We booked this trip weeks before fathers day as a gift for my dad and a few friends. We followed all instructions to meet them and once arrived they told us they overbooked us. They had zero cares about what we had to go through to plan this trip nor showed it. There are plenty other charters out their to choose from do not use these people. Zero stars!!!

We had a great family fishing trip aboard La Cima for an afternoon charter last Saturday. It exceeded my expectations and hats off to Captain Eddie and First Mate Caroline for making the trip such a success. Eddie has extensive knowledge of and experience with the waters. Other boats around us werent catching much, but we kept Caroline busy with netting fish and baiting our rods. We caught numerous species but the sharks would not stay off our lines. The boat itself was made in 1969 and is very well preserved and AC in the cabin is nice and cold. We cant wait to book our next charter with them.

What an amazing trip with Angler Charters!!!I took my three sons on a jetty trip and the fishing was outstanding. The service was over the top and we made a lifetime of great memories. Thanks to Angler Charters!!!

Service was Awesome! Hospitality was great. Thanks Eddie and Caroline, for making my Mancation worth it! Next time we will bring in that Shark!We had a great time being out there today, great folks for my first time fishing. Eddie moved us around to try and nab the big ones, and that was greatly appreciated! I called it short as I had other plans in Louisiana and had to get moving. Caroline was awesome, always had a smile on her and even hooked our bait for us. Sorry for catching all those rocks :) Good luck guys!

Please do not book with these guys. The guide did not have bait and the boat broke down. Poor communication and bad overall experience.

04/14/2019 Angler Charters showed my group a great time in Galveston. We had the worst weather and very few fish but Capt Caroline and Archie were flexible. My dad is partial paralyzed and they helped him in and out of the boat. We caught our first fish in 2 mins of dropping anchor a 30lb black Drum.Will be back soon to get in some real fishing.

The best fun!!!
