My daughter and her friends went down to Galveston for a Senior trip. They had to replace a part in the car and Auto zone sold them a used (did not know it was used, we purchased a new one) part which caused the car to start miss firing. Tonys helped them get the car to the shop and got them back their air bnb. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a day and had the car back to them the next morning. He was very helpful and worked with us, the parents over the phone and helped us feel comfortable and confident that he would get it fixed and our kids wouldnt be stranded.

I called Tony about my passenger side electric window stuck in the down position when he was closing for the night a few days ago. I was going to have to leave my car with the window down overnight in a driveway at the vacation house I was staying in with rain on the way, and bring the car in when they opened in the morning. Tony was so friendly and gave great advice to keep the inside of my car getting wet. The issue resolved itself a few hours later but Tonys great mannerisms were such a contrast to the mechanics Im used to dealing with in Austin Id like to bring my car in for general service with him before I hit the road if possible.

Tony is a very nice and professional guy! me and My family are in Galveston on vacation going to eat at a restaurant across the street when we realized we had a nail in our tire. Tony was at his mechanic shop 2 hours past closing and helped plug our tire with no hesitation at all!

I had my 2008 dodge Caliber serviced here they were supposed to replace the engine mounts instead they put rubber shims in thinking I wouldnt know i am a full service technician of 15yrs exp. Just didnt have the time to fix it myself. So 600$ waisted to this place this deal was made directly through Tony the owner. I SUGGEST NO ONE GOES HERE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!

I visited Tonys International Car Care for the first time a few weeks ago when my check engine light came on and my car began to have some issues. Overall, I was very impressed and had a positive experience. Tony is a very nice guy; hes personable and does a great job explaining what is wrong and what he will need to do to fix it. I like that he is always looking out for the customer and wont do excessive or unnecessary repairs. He is a very honest guy and I appreciate the fact that he treats customers and their cars the way that he would want to be treated. For my experience the price was fair, and he was pretty quick to diagnose and fix the problems I was having. Im very grateful for his help and definitely will go back for future car care needs!

Overall, very satisfied with the speed and service at Tonys. Shop has the capacity to work on over sized vehicles; andto replace front brakes and tighten bearings, received a very reasonable and fair rate. Would I use again? Yes. Would I recommend as a future reference? Yes. Not only was I impressed with service, but found his information on how to handle repairs empathetic and extremely accurate.

HiI recently had my truck break down on me while I was driving I thought it was the fuel pump as I had had indicator light come on before me and some coworkers changed out the fuel pump but nothing I made some calls and after a few questions the dealer would not take my truck I tried fire stone and when their computer would not tell them what the problem was they would not take it I found Tony international and from the start he was very helpful he let me take the truck in even though he was closing and leave it overnight he did an extensive check of all systems corrected some wiring due to some other issues and eliminated all possibilities he eventually found the problem and fixed my truck I am very happy with Tony and I think he is very fair and honest I would recommend him to anybody He did what bigger name brands could not do Or even want to try thank you Tony. Tony is an excellent business man and is very knowledgeable. We both knew the engine on my truck was going out so it was just a matter of time. When the engine blew Tony picked it up the same day and we discussed about putting a Jasper motor in the dodge. He ordered an engine with a 100,000 mile warranty and had it delivered and installed in my truck extremely fast. Tony put a new radiator and engine kit along with the engine, all with in 48 hours. He was extremely fast and his shop put the motor in correctly. I had my keys in my hand and my foot on the gas with in 48 hours. He knows his stuff about automotive. He also customized a street bike and did fantastic work but thats another story. I highly recommend having Tony fix anything with a motor!! Thanks brother saved my life.

I can’t say enough about what a fantastic experience I had with Tony. I’ve used him several times over the last few years the last time stands out the most with how he approaches his customers. One of my cars battery batterwas dead so I walked over he put me in his golf cart drove over to my house jumped my car to get it started and then drove it back to his shop saving me a towing expense. He fixed my battery along with a few other things on the car but what he also did was save me thousands of dollars by coming up with a creative idea to wrap my dashboard as opposed to me having to replace the entire thing with the dealership. Tony is the only mechanic I trust on the island he strives to save his clients money versus spending the money... if you have any issues whatsoever with your cars I highly recommend his organization

Im in Galveston on work (a television shoot) and I needed my car repaired with a very quick turn around time as my vehicle would be needed for crew transport to the airport. Tony took care of it in a very timely manner and kept me updated as he did so. When I dropped it off he assured me that he would personally travel for parts if necessary, and made extra efforts to make sure I understood exactly what the issues were. International Car Care also appeared to stay open an hour later than the surrounding car repair shops, which was key in my situation with work. Thanks Tony.

DO NOT, use this place if you are looking to get a brake job done, had my lines blow out on me a year and a half ago they spliced into the already rusted lines which should have been a complete line they just replaced if it was going to be correct but decided to take a short cut and charge me like they did quality when they never did. And the only line they didnt replace blew with not even 5 thousand miles on it since they had done the work

We are on vacation, ran into car troubles and due to proximity took the car to Tony. He made the time to work on the car as soon as they could and most importantly ........while we could have been completely taken advantage of we were not. We are in Galveston frequently and I will not hesitate to take anything to Tony in the future.

Dont go there!He robbed me of $270I had a problem with my A/C.He did whatever he wanted to my car and asked for $270. He didnt ask my opinion on if I had $270 to spend. Mind you no parts were changed.He did not ask for permission to spend that much. I asked fir am estimate and got none. I called twice to ask about the car. Yes, the AC works now but I dont know what I paid forThat in my opinion is robberyThere are better options on the island.Dont allow yourself to be robbed!Go somewhere elseThis guy is a scam.

I am so stupid to come there .Tonys is a cheater.My car’s had a problem and went to there .He told me there was a problem with transmission and need to replace it .So, I asked whther is a small trouble or big trouble .He said a small trouble and easily to fix it.I called twice to ask about the car and went to Tonys care once, he did not tell me anything about the price .Today,when I went to take my car, he said it cost for 1000 dollars.I asked why he didn’t tell me at first and ask for my permission, he said I didn’t ask for the price .A small trouble need to be paid for 1000 dollars, how ridiculous it is!I will never come here, I have to tell my friends and colleagues never to come here.

We were traveling on the weekend to Galveston and our car started having issues. All the places were closed Sunday and we needed to get back home to Houston Monday! I Monday Morning I called all over the island and Tonys was the only place to offer us repair even though he was quite booked. We were able to walk to the strand and hang out until the repairs were done and he drove and picked us up. He explained all of the issues (repaired a spark plug, coil, and wire for two misfiring cylinders) and also fixed a fuse that was messed up so he could read the diagnostics correctly. Car is running great and when we brought our car to our local mechanic a few weeks after for a check up, they said the work was done well. Thank you!!! Our son appreciates us making it home on time!

Charged me almost $700 for tune up and an oil change. Never gave me an estimate or called to authorize any extra expenses. This guy totally played me. Maybe because Im a woman; maybe because hes a terrible business man. I will not take my business there anymore; my friends who recommended him to me will no longer be going to him. I should have refused to pay, but I did. Learned a valuable life lesson. Dont make my mistake. Never take your car here.

Tony is very honest, and charges the least he can. Ive lived just a few blocks away, and owning older cars, need mechanic repairs about twice a year. Tony always takes the car right in, fixes the problem, and its always WAY less than any internet search estimates that kind of repair should cost. Hes not overly chatty, just seems to like to discuss the problem, then get back to work. Thats fine with me, I know plenty of chatty people if I want someone to talk to. When I want a mechanic, this is the place!

Tony was very professional. I am not too good with stuff that happen under the hood, he was VERY clear as to what was wrong with my car. Kept me involved. The first time I went for an estimate I continued to look around. Got worse service other places and/or crazy high prices. Thank you tony! My car runs great now!

I took my car there to have the SRS light checked out so we could get a new inspection sticker on the car. I told Tony that I needed an inspection sticker and to see if he could just get the light to turn off for the inspection then we could bring it back at a later time for the complete fix. After 4 hours he calls me to let me know that he couldnt get the light to turn off and that we could still get the sticker with the light on. It wasnt required to have that light turned off to get the inspection sticker. I asked him why he didnt tell me that when I came in with the car because I was up front with telling him that I needed the inspection sticker. He said he didnt know until he called them up himself. (I didnt believe that). Anyway, he charged me $80 and told me that someone had pulled a bunch of wires out under the dash board and they spent a lot of time putting them back together. I checked the wires he was referring to before I took the car in and know for a fact that they werent. Chalk it down to my own stupidity but I will never take my car or allow anyone I know to take there car there......EVER!

This service never even reached the level of fair. I had my car towed there because it wouldnt start and had a battery or short problem. Apparently then never did a battery test, although the battery later turned out to have a bad cell. I had to pay $120 for a battery charge. When I found the same problem three days later, I was afraid to take it back - finally read the reviews - and instead got a new battery for $136 at the dealer. They also never called me and didnt accept calls after Id called them a few times, hours after they told me they would call me with details of my problem.

Warning..do not take your car here... i learned a big lesson with these guys. They will ripp you off. They turned an easy job and a 10.00 part into 500.00. I dropped car off and was told to put info on work order. So i did and wrote do not work on car before calling me with estimate and ok to go..so, he called with estimate and i said go ahead. Days later o finally get my car but not before they charged not what they told me and replaced out a brand new timing belt. Lesson... do not leave a blank work order. Request an estimate in writting.check on your car in person and save all old parts. He knew what he did cause he gave a 40.00 discount. Should of been 300.00 discount.
