There was a mix up with my mother-in-laws appointment time but they were able to squeeze us in at the end of the day yesterday. I had never had any of my nails done before and I had a very good experience. My nail person provided high quality service. The overall staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had my appointment at 3:30 got there on time first thing I had to do was sanitize my hands and a temp check which was amazing to see a business be on top of things like that. I went with my sister and both of our nails look amazing 🤩 I am so happy with the results and the staff is supper kind and helpful.

The wait can be long sometimes, even with an appointment, but it’s worth it. The nail techs take their time. Nina especially amazing!

I went for the first time to this place to do my gel manicure and pedicure. While the place looks professional and clean (I will vouch for that) but the staff are unprofessional. I was asked to choose a color before the manicure like any other normal place. I chose a blue color and a silver glitter color (part of the palate) to go on top. When my nails were half done, my nail technician said you will have to pay extra for this glitter color. I have never ever paid extra for using more than one color or glitter colors on my nail. I was shocked that she didnt tell me that before and when I am half done. They charged me very high for nails. Also for pedicure, she didnt do a good job on coloring. At the end she was like Pay tip. They are more concerned about the money and less about customer service and satisfaction. Not worth it.

Lee is great!! He takes his time removing the old dip and fast enough to apply the new dip if you are in a rush, which I was half the time. The location is very organize & clean. A great spot to do your nails in Gaithersburg.

They were super busy when I got there for a walk-in and they still managed to fit me in for a pedicure. The salon is clean, sanitary, and decorated nicely. I was given a ziplock bag of new scrubbing tools to give to my pedicurist and observed the stations being cleaned after each client.Because they were so busy and I didn’t have an appointment, there was a bit of a wait but the man in charge got me back to a chair/tub to wait for my tech fairly quickly. At seven months pregnant, I really appreciated the extra time in the foot bath. My nail tech was friendly and knowledgeable about not rubbing my feet too hard or too long because of the risk of stimulating labor. The leg massage and wax treatment were so relaxing. My feet and nails look great and I left feeling like I could fall right asleep. I’ll definitely try to be back before the baby comes.

Amazing pedicure. Only knocked off a star for timing. Made an appointment for two pedicures, but one started about 20 minutes later than the other. Definitely some wait time. Next time well come on a less busy day!

I’ve been coming to Phoenix regularly since I moved to Gaithersburg. I heard about them through a friend. They are so clean, safe, gentle, and do great work. My gel lasts for longer than other places I’ve tried. I love that the mani/pedi’s come with a paraffin wax. I always leave feeling good and my nails looking amazing. I’ve sent all my local friends and family. Highly recommend!!

Awful experience. They overcharge and it wasn’t even a good manicure. They don’t clean your nails and it’s $10 more if you want even your cuticles cut. Still dirt and polish on my nails. They rolled their eyes and talked about me while doing my nails. Understood everything. This was $65 dollars. I would absolutely not go here again. 🤢

Kathy did such a good job, I asked for short, springy and subtle and thats exactly what she gave me 🤗😁. Because of my corporate job I cant have crazy designs but this girly yet natural design is perfect!Also, I really enjoy the pedicures. The first time I came here I worked with Anna. She’s the best! She and the manager who was working that day were very friendly. She did a great job on my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I love the paraffin treatments. I loved the way she took care of me! She was chatty but not overly talkative. She took her time and was professional - excellent quality.The next time I went, I worked with two other girls - one for my dip manicure and the other for my regular pedicure. It felt rushed and impersonal. It felt like I was just a customer they wanted to get in and out. I didn’t like the experience as much, although the quality was good.I plan to go with Anna from now on.I love that they always have great movies on!I wish they had more color options for gel mani.

I recently started going here about a month and a half now and I love everything about it. The service is phenomenal and they are a lot more modernized with their follow up service which I appreciate. As a new customer I could’ve easily forgotten the name of the business but I immediately received a follow up text message after my first appt. which led me to ways I could easily find them and book an appointment. Being in the customer service industry and management I was impressed and appreciated the extra effort to provide great service and market a good business. They have made it easy for a busy person such as myself to book an appointment online and they have more flexible hours that I’m able to actually make an appointment practically any day of the week. They are also very well organized with appointments and flexible with hours very courteous and helpful. I love it!! But most of all! They do the best in dip nails... hands down in the city of Gaithersburg. I am happy every time I get my nails done with the shape, and look of the nails. They have a large variety of colors and nails are always filed smoothly and clean around my cuticles, under my nails and edges. I also love and appreciate the short hands massage after. I really enjoy going to this salon. They put thoughtful care into the environment and make it a relaxing place to be. The techs are all very friendly. I usually get just a pedicure, as they don’t have the supplies for the intricate nail designs I prefer. Their regular manicure is great however. I don’t use my regular nail place for pedicures, a pedicure at Phoenix blows them out of the water. They are also commendable in their COVID response. Everything is sanitized and tracked thoroughly, feels good to know they are prioritizing safety.

This was the best pedicure Ive had in a long time. The technician was thorough, careful and very pleasant. I HIGHLY recommend this salon.

Phoenix nails salon is a very high quality and professional business. I can see the owners take pride in their work and to make sure each customer leaves with a pleasant experience. I will say this is one of THE CLEANEST nail salons in the Montgomery Village/ Gaithersburg area. There were a few nail salons that didn’t practice hygiene. I recommend this salon for your manicure and pedicure needs.

The environment continues to be as inviting and relaxing as it can be during these times. I just moved to the area and was looking for a salon. I’ve been here three times. Twice for me. Once for my daughter. And no matter who we sit down with this staff is so sweet and amazing. Everyone is very professional and accommodating. Work stations are blocked for social distance and masks and gloves are used. I have never been in a salon with nicer people. Mani gel plus pedicure is $69 WITH scrub and wax on both hands and feet, AND clean utensils!! I have been going to them for years!! Although I prefer the females, some males have been good too. The women are friendly and try to have conversations with clients. They are always tolerate of my 20 min color picking and my indecisiveness over nail shape. They also go a great job digging out my hang nails on my big toes which always bother me!

Love Phoenix. Their gel manicures last the longest out of any place Ive gone. This one is 2 weeks old, Im a server and event entertainer so I destroy my nails regularly but their manicures survive somehow! ( you can see how fast my nails grow out but the clean edge makes it look okay still!)

I’ve been going to this salon for 2 years now. I love how they work. Never had such a good experience. My nails looks so professionally done, Pedicure was awesome. I have visited many other are there is no comparison to Phoenix. I had once a nail technician that I really did not like it how she did my nails but oh well. One time is not going to have a bad review from me. Maybe she was new, who knows. I know that feeling when we are new at the job and we are not perfect. I just tried a different technician next time, and was more than I was expecting.My daughter actually recommended this place since she had a wonderful experience. It might be for some people a little pricey but to me, well worth it. The attention to detail, the punctuality and now even more clean than before since they follow all the regimes to prevent the virus. Having you to use hand sanitizer before touching anything, as soon as you arrived and check your temperature too. I also looove that I can schedule my appointment online without bothering anyone with calls since it is a busy place. I do get my confirmation appointment and reminder, so there is no absolutely excuse for “no show” or “I forgot”. I do take in consideration that since we all want to have beautiful nails. :) and it will be a waste for the owner to have a no show when other customer could have taken that available appointment. They took her temperature. And she got a gel set done beautifully in 45 minutes. My fiancé is excited to return there next time. Definitely would recommend!!!

I decided to make an appointment at this nail salon based on the reviews and a friend’s recommendation. The outcome of my nails was fine, but the experience was very bad. I got my nails done by one of the male technicians (not sure of his name), and he was so rude and nasty to me from the start. I spoke very politely to him and I’m not sure why (maybe a bad day) but he was very condescending and acted like I was an idiot. At one point my friend caught him rolling his eyes because I asked him if I could pay with my card instead of cash. It was like anything I said to him he thought was too stupid to be answered, and when he did answer he ended up almost yelling at me. I didn’t know what to do so I just kept a positive and polite attitude with him until it was over. If I ever go back to this salon, I would definitely request to be set up with a female tech, just to make sure I did not get this man again. For the amount of money I spent, I really would hope to be treated at least with some basic respect. Also don’t expect to get your cuticles cleaned or anything extra besides the polish/powder application. And don’t expect them to take their time or be careful. They rushed through everything, and my friend was actually left with polish all over her skin after because they didn’t clean it up. However, the end result on the actual nails was fine looks wise. Nothing amazing though.

This place is amazing and it was my very first time walking into a nail salon TO GET MY NAILS DONE!!! These ladies (and gents) were welcoming and enthusiastic about me being there. They have a movie playing the whole time and the atmosphere is pleasing. You def have to come here. Let me know how you like it after -thats what she said!

Love this spot. Actually don’t want others to find it and make long lines🤣. Nevertheless it is a great nail salon. Movies playing with closed caption while you get serviced so you can choose to watch or just snooze. Great touch.

They always do a great job on your nails. Not many salons actually cater to their clients but they do here! They are professional, clean, and sanitary! They also do a great job on your nails as well. Also, not many salons can do gel nails without it being bumpy and lumpy but mine were baby smooth honey! They are very nice people and I will return soon.

They are very professional and sanitary in their nail services. Appointments are strongly encouraged it may look hidden and tucked away but they are almost always busy. They also coat your feet in a hot wax after the pedicure which seems to protect the skin and slow the reforming of calluses.

Came to get my nails done and they charged me $78 for a full set that I usually pay $50 elsewhere. I thought I’d give them a chance but then the technician refused to give me the shape I wanted and kept giving me pointed nails when I wanted coffin shaped. She kept telling me that she does nails differently and could not make them the way I liked, which was a simple coffin shape. She cut off the tips to make them less pointy but I was left with stubby nails. In the end I was overcharged for thick chunky nails and they refused to take them off without charging another $35.

Staff are friendly and really good at their job!. I wouldnt suggest going on Saturday or Sunday mornings because its always packed but if you must, try to make an appointment.* You get a discount when you use cash vs card*

First time customer: I saw great reviews on google was why I came! I arrived at 6:55pm and was told theyre closed. On google the hours state close at 7:30 pm on Saturdays. They should fix their hours online!

The best nail salon in all of Montgomery County. The technicians pay really close attention to detail and will actually listen to what you want. TK and Lynn are the owners and are always around to make sure youre taken care of. The prices are a bit on the higher end for a neighborhood salon, but its totally worth it. I moved out of the county and still have to come back every once in a while to get my nails done here.
