Loved this spa, first time but will not be my last. My daughter and I had massages and it was an absolutely wonderful experience!!

I got a gift card for this spa for my birthday. At first I was annoyed that they asked me to provide a CC card on file in case of a cancellation. But then, I experienced the incredible service here, and I have to say, I changed my mind and I. AM. SOLD. It was hands-down the best pedicure I’ve ever had in my life, done by Van. The manager was extremely welcoming and the rest of the staff were friendly and professional as well. The whole experience was amazing - relaxing and just lovely. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful the pedicure by Van was. I’ll never go anywhere else for a pedicure if I can help it! I’m looking forward to trying other services as well when I’m able to because it was just such a treat to go here.

This was our first mother daughter experience it turned out awful. First the staff rescheduled our appointment at 8pm Friday night then they reschedule for Sunday we go in and I requested a room for both of us to be together well they said I could come back at 2 or just go with what they schedule us for. The manager did come to apologize but taking a percentage off the cost isn’t what I was looking for I would have thought they would have said please come again we can have you get your services done the right way or something my lovely spa day with my daughter didn’t turn out as I thought :( My massage wasn’t as expected I’ve been a red door spa refugee and this place sucks! They don’t give you the nice warm pillow around your neck. Just didn’t feel like the staff was every warming or caring. Do not recommend this spa. First and last unfortunately.

After dealing with the extreme stress of buying a home in todays market, I was in need of a pick me up. Thankfully, I was able to get in with a quick call, for a bit of selfcare. I received the Illuminating Facial, and it was awesome! My face had a smooth, youthful glow. I believe my Esthetician for the service was Gigi. She had great bedside manner. Ill definitely be back for more pampering soon.

I got a 50 minute massage, 50 minute facial, and pedicure. The massage therapist was amazing and made an excellent suggestion that may forever change my spa experience. She asked if I preferred to start face down or if I was open to starting face up to allow the heated table to begin the muscle relaxation process. The facial was great as well, the technician recommend that I increase intake of certain vegetables based on my skin type and condition. The nail technician was extremely personable and nice to chat with, one if the best pedicures Ive ever had.

My boyfriend booked a massage for me as part of my birthday gift. I was really looking forward to relax after a long week. The masseuse that I had (Mei) was wonderful. She paid special attention to the areas that were bothering me. However, the room I was in must have been next to a washroom. Every few minutes I could hear water running and being shut off. It was so loud that you couldn’t hear the relaxing music in the room. It would have been too much of a hassle to even switch rooms at that point as I was already settled in with oil on my body. The noise went on throughout the massage and took away from the experience. My boyfriend booked the spa over massage envy so that I could enjoy the experience of being pampered at the spa. I feel like We could have paid less and went to massage envy for the same or better experience.

We had a duet massage and we loved everything about it. The spa was super clean. The staff was kind and attentive, the masseuse were very good and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will be coming back again.

I had a reservation set and I canceled 4 days prior and they tried to charge me $100 fee to cancel. I refused to pay because I was not aware of the cancelation fee. Spoke with the manger Julie and she said her staff is PERFECT and that they tell every person about the cancelation fee. I told her I was unaware and was not told neither through the phone or email. She then stated I got a confirmation text and/ or email about my reservation and explained I didnt receive that either. i confirmed they dont have my email on file and never received a text other then the manager waiving the fee after asking for it. Manager Julie there is very rude and determined to get off the phone after she waived me the fee and was not wanting me to talk to her and explain why Im canceling and the front desk Norwan lady was not caring for anything I was asking.unfortunately I did not try the massage so cant speak for the massage but it makes me feel like I cant go to a Woodhouse Spa because of the poor service at the Gaithersburg Location. Def would NOT recommend my friends and family to go there.

Lovely experience and felt safe the entire time.

Its very pretty and the people are sweet, but they completely and absolutely overcharge for their service. Im willing to spend money on a nail service that I think is worth it, but sadly what I spent and the service I received didnt match up. For example, they didnt even put moisturizer on my hands. So I asked for some after my gel polish was done and she just squeezed some in my hands- every nail salon I have ever been to has always massaged moisturizer in my hands. Its a simple thing, but when you are paying $100 plus I would expect this service. I would not recommend and I will not be going back.

They dont know how to treat their employees right. Letting over priviledged rich Montgomery County people be late for the therapists to give them the full time. Nope. Unprofessional and unfair.

I have been to Woodhouse Spa many times and cannot speak highly enough about it. From the moment I entered 18 months ago i was greeted warmly by the very nice receptionist.I had been recommended by a friend who has been to the spa many time and i have to say I have been very pleased every time i go.I mainly go for skin treatments because i have always had bad skin but not any more. After three months of facials and skin treatments my skin is now glowing and feels like silk.I also get regular manicures and pedicures which i have also been very pleased with.I have to say i would highly recommend this spa and all the services i have tried. Super friendly experienced and talented staff, thank you all.See you this weekend.

This place is fantastic. Staff is so caring, attentive and understanding. They were able to dynamically adjust to all my needs when coordinating a spa day for my future fiancé. Big shout out to Mina! She was my POC While coordinating all the events and services. She took care of everything! She is a Gem! My fiancé’s party was really satisfied with the services performed. This is one of the few businesses’ that understand what true customer service is and go above and beyond to make sure their clients are satisfied. can’t wait to book my next appointment at this place !! Wonderful people, place and experience.

The staff here are amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. When you first walk in you will absolutely be greeted and guided accordingly. The lobby is full of very spa like goodies that instantly grab your attention: heated slippers, shower/bath enhancers, etc. And the ambiance is great. I received a massage here for my birthday yesterday and it was just okay at best. Like most massages I have had, you complete an intake form prior, which asks you what areas you wish to have targeted. I specified those areas and even discussed them with the masseuse before we began. But those areas did not receive targeted, specific, special, or additional attention at all. I have had many deep tissue massages and found this one as a whole, to not really be deep enough consistently. I also didnt enjoy the flow of the massage. But hey they cant all be great. I will likely return but will choose a different masseuse.

The spa itself is fantastic - the front staff was very welcoming as I walked in and took me to the locker room which had two bathrooms and a shower. The shower has a eucalyptus spray you can use to make the shower smell very relaxing. The quiet room that you are taken to prior to your service is also relaxing which plenty of aromatherapy and it is also where you will fill out the appropriate intake forms.I got a deep tissue massage and requested Daniel as I had a client refer me to him. I had ACL reconstruction surgery back in January and because of this, I have plenty of knots on my legs due to strength training to get my leg back to 100%. I spoke with Daniel prior to my service about my legs as problem areas and I cannot speak any more highly of his professionalism and perfect execution. The deep tissue massage was STRONG - and I generally like to think I have a high threshold for pain. He used a lot of trigger point methods in conjunction with some movement whilst holding the knots on my body, to really get those releases. Although both sides of your body will receive the same treatment, he customized my the left side of my back to REALLY get my scapula to release properly. I only had the fifty minute deep tissue but I will most definitely be making another appointment soon and upgrading to the eighty minute session.I left the spa feeling like a noodle, my posture was corrected (which I didnt even realize was an issue) and no limp while walking. Daniel was amazing and I recommend everyone request him for all massage services - he is the first male masseuse I have ever had and although I was nervous about this at first, his professionalism and care has erased that from my mind.Daniel, you have a client for life.

Everything about this experience was amazing! It was the first time my girlfriend and I had ever gone to get a massage and they truly catered to everything we asked and made the entire time a dream come true. Definitely coming back

This spa always offers a wonderful experience and I do mean experience not visit. Woodhouse is its own private island in Montgomery County where relaxation can inevitably be achieved. I go once every 6-8 weeks and have noticed that the staff are able to provide consistent service. Small snacks like mixed nuts, sunflower seads, tea and infused waters are offered in the quiet room (I like to call it a peace sanctuary). I do have to say Woodhouse is the only place I have been able to find a safe, hygienic, and less painful wax. Highly recommend that service. Keep up the wonderful work!

A great place to escape for a day and have the perfect massage followed by a facial. Well kept and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend a day to treat yourself before the New Year so you can bring 2020 just looking great.

The customer service leaves much to be desired. Purchased a gift card online and went in store to pick it up. Was told that I had to pick it up 20 minutes away at another branch. Cashiers were unsympathetic and made no effort to resolve the situation. Was late to my sisters birthday party as a result. Not going to flush hundreds of dollars down the drain here again.

I had a 50 min. massage at this facility for the first time. I had quite a few massages at other facilities but this experience was not among the best although the studio was clean and the staff seemed friendly. The massage itself..mmm well lets say I didnt feel I got my moneys worth. It really did not feel like deep tissue massage. I had another perception but will keep that one to myself. Not sure if I will be going back.

Was looking forward to trying a new spa. I was pleased that they tried to work with me on accommodating an appointment but their policy for keeping credit card info on file is rediculous. They stated the card was needed to reserve my spot due to cancellation fees if I dont show. When I declined they said that it was fine but I would need to swipe my card when I arrive instead. I planned on using gift cards but they still wanted me to swipe my card to be put on file when I arrived which makes no sense at that point bc Im already there and they stated it was needed in case I do not show. As a victim of identity theft I feel it is rediculous to make people put their info on file. And what if I was a cash only person who didnt use cards... You are saying I wouldnt be welcome at your establishment.Since I cannot respond to your response Ill just add that Ive been to a dozen spas and have NEVER been asked to keep a card on file. Again what if I didnt have a credit card? There are plenty of people in the world that dont have them or debit cards. So I can only assume after my conversation with your employee (who already spoke to the manager) that you dont accommodate those potential customers.

As a future client I wish to be able read the reviews. However I see the clients comments are not visible when there is a complaint.is there a way to read all reviews ?

Had a Woodhouse Hydrafacial yesterday, and my esthetician paid amazing attention to getting my congestion under control - my chin hasnt been this smooth in a decade. Thanks, Melodie!! My husband had a deep tissue massage with Marlinda and he was so relaxed when we checked out I practically had to carry him back to the car. All the staff was so pleasant and my experience was so nice and relaxing. I will definitely be back for more!!
