Yaya is the Lady! Her personality is beyond exceptional & her quality in nail enhancing is on point. She delivers! I am a perfectionist and she constantly nails it.

I LOVE this place! I go on a regular basis. After my service today, I had to write a review! On a quiet Monday, the staff prioritized speed, quality, and my satisfaction as if the salon was packed. I also asked for a pretty unique nail design today and wanted to preserve my real nails (which have finally grown out). They took the time to do both. They even went above and beyond to make my fingers sparkle! Im so happy and will definitely come back.

Chileee this is my second time coming here and Ive never gotten such a good unrushed pedicure Rocket is my girl now lol. Definitely didn’t feel rushed. I love it here definitely coming back every 3-4 weeks. I got a full set and showed the nail tech name yaya an inspo pic and she did what needed to be done. My birthday nails were beautiful and lasted so long I came back today after getting my nails done on August 3rd! So the longevity was definitely there. Come here you won’t be disappointed! 💕

If you are looking to get your acrylic nails done, it is the place. They are very expert on that. The atmosphere is great, it is bigger than other salon that I have been to which is good for social distancing during the covid19. The staff there are friendly and skillful. I love going there to get my acrylic nails done also the pedicure.

Asian woman was soo rude and unprofessional. Forcing a customer as if the customer did not know what she had on her nails. This lady with a keloid scar on her chest was wearing a bitter face on my arrival as if her boyfriend had a fight with her and she was transferring her aggression to me. It all.went so bad.As a person who values customers and the services rendered, she will have been a good listener and not rushing on a customers question which let to her misunderstanding all that was said then making her lie and lie and was loud while others was there.its sad ASian woman. Get your ugly self together.remember people work to hard to cone for a service they pay for to get the face you put up and the insult you throw.I wont advise anyone to let this lady with a keloid scare take care of her nails.She is unprofessional.

I always have a good experience when going in for my pampering services. Its a nice and pleasant atmosphere all of the time. The ladies are all professional and ready to attend to your needs. Im able to sit back, relax, and enjoy my services, and get in a nap while Im in the pedicure chair.

I normally come here and have no issues but they cannot do dipping powder and gel polish literally less then 24/hours. It took 3 people to do this, and 2-hours I sat in the salon. Please look at the photos.

Everytime I visit I get great services n recommendation how should I get my nails or feet done by Rosa. The owner she is very nice they are everyone else Im very polite always ask when you walk in by greeting you. Rosa is the only one that I get serviced by she always asks about my family or where have I been. My birthday was a couple of days ago n she hook me up with a gift

This happened a year ago - My first appointment was wonderful - i asked for extremely long nails to try them out for the first time in my life, and they were magnificent! She knew it was my first time so she said “come back anytime to get them cut if you need! They are very long!” And I told her I would probably be back very soon. So I came back about a week and a half later, as my natural nails grow very fast, to get them cut. The original nailist (?) wasn’t there, and a slender woman who had a bob hairdo at the time (I can unfortunately just describe her as I didn’t get her name) violently handled my hands and cut my nails shorter complaining the whole way, to the point that the manager and shop owner didn’t leave my side till she was done. She wasn’t complaining in English, but the way she raised her voice, her tone and how she handled my hands and nails said everything. The whole shop felt the tension and I felt embarrassed by something I was told I could request when I came back. I will never be back to this establishment. Unfortunate.

I was getting gel nails. The lady was really nice but my nails did not look great. How are you gonna expect someone to pay $40 (+ tip) on a manicure if their nails don’t leave your salon looking at least near perfect? Not going here again. There are better and cheaper places.

My experience here was absolutely fantastic! I havent gotten my nails done in a long time and they did a wonderful job. My toes and nails look great. The foot massage during the pedicure was phenomenal. Definitely going to be coming back

I go to this shop very often and the owner Ms. Julie is so pleasant and very fun to be around. She does a wonderful job as well as her husband Tristan. I get my nails long and usually have them in coffin or the triangular shape and they do a A1 job at them. 10/10 would highly reccomend to the next woman.

I wish I could upload photos on here to show everyone the bloody nails they left me with. However if I could rate this salon 0 stars I would. Never again will I go to this salon. The guy who did my nails was very unprofessional. He took off my acrylics by ripping them off. I understand that when getting a fresh full set, they MAY damage your nails, I’m well aware. However, if you can’t do something say that before you start! Instead he proceeded to rip the acrylic nails off causing them to bleed. Oh but it doesn’t stop there, he tried to soak them in acetone AFTER attempting to rip off a majority of the nails. I told him to stop and left because if I didn’t he was going to continue to put nails on what was now OPEN wounds. Then I realized no, they are going to fix this. So I went back. I was told to wait till they were finished with another client until I realized I would just leave since it would be counterproductive to put nails over open wounds. So mind you at this point I was unable to do anything to my nails. I had to go to work with bandages on both hands which is very unprofessional in my line of work. So after three days I returned so they can fix it, assuming I would at least be charged half price if not free service for what they did. Nope. Not even $5 off! So I discontinued service with them. The owner wasn’t even in the least bit sympathetic. Please beware of this salon, they will take your money and do a mediocre job at best! I contemplated writing this review but I don’t want anyone to experience what I went through. If you want a good nail experience please go to the Passion Nail Spa in Germantown! They are not affiliated with them whatsoever and they are so much more professional!

The worst !Waste of my $70 !Went in looked at the board for the price along with asked the prices to confirm. The lady said $45 to $50 but since you are new we will do it for $40 . I got excitedAfter the guy Did not do the nails I asked for the length shape was terrible and the ombré Wasn’t the worst but the colors they used to do the so called pink and white was horrific. After I go to the register and give him my card he starts to charge me so I just ask agin to confirm as to the price so I can include the tip and he says $65 and just swipes without my permission . Like what? I ask then the board says $45Why are you charging me $65 ? He says well we forgot to change the board but that’s what the price is and I look at the lady who told me it was going to be $40 and she just starts laughing out loud ?Within 2 days my nails are comming off LITERALLY !I will never go back to this placeI do not ever recommend anyone go to this placeThey are a screamerAnd a munch of people who only care about money .I have never been to a place so unprofessional and unrealI have never wrote a bad review but I felt like I need to in order to warn people of this scheme that they are doingBE WARNEDCHARGES EXTRA And DOES A HORRIBLE JOB

Wish zero stars were an option. This place is a scam. They are rude. Its cramped and they will charge you out the wazoo for nails that wont even stay on for a week. Came back twice to get them fix within 2 weeks of a 50 dollar gel set and even after they were fixed the were a hot mess. Disgusted.

The lady who did my gel acrylic set was very friendly, gentle and did an excellent job. I did get nicked once but she quickly apologized and cleaned up the cut. Even though she wasnt able to do the design I was asking for, she told me straight away she couldnt do it instead of attempting it and possibly messing up my perfectly good set of nails. She also did my eyebrows and upper lip. she was gentle and precise doing that as well. Overall, great service. A little on the pricey side but worth it.

This is the worst ever nail polish I have ever been.The person who served me was a total amateur. She polished my nails wrong and tried again. However, the result was the same.Some of my nails were not even finished. She left the corners and base line blank.I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Passion Nails used to be my go to when I first moved to Gaithersburg back in 2016. I stopped going for my own reasons and started again in recent time. (Recent being mid April.)I got a full-set with them, regular polish. Was semi satisfied already. The owner did my nails and to me it was sloppy and some nails werent aligned. But my aunt who got her nails done the same day had a better experience with Tristan one of the nail techs. So we decide to go back. 2 weeks later I get a fill from Tristan. Unsatisfied. At this point my aunt and I decide were not going back and even went elsewhere for our pedicure.YESTERDAY, we arrive in Wheaton and go to the Nail Bar whom I will be reviewing separately. I got my pedicure first due to how busy it was. When I sat down to get my fill-in she started by removing the polish, obviously. I glance to my left middle finger and see GREEN sitting under my acrylic. 🤦🏻 The nail tech explains that this is due to air between the acrylic and the real nail, and water retention. So basically water got between it and caused my fingernail to turn green.I am disgusted and I want to leave at this point. But my nail tech took care of it to the best of her ability. She told me I cant get a fill-in and I have to let my nails breathe. She said gel was safe, (which honestly I still need confirmation on so if anyone knows please feel fee to say something!!) but I went with the gel because I start a new job and I dont want to be shaking anyones hand with that visibly on my finger. 😔ANYWAY to conclude my green finger rant, you should never go to Passion Nails. Ive been getting my nails done since I was 13, I am almost 24 and this has never happened to me EVER in my life. The owner does sloppy work, they do everything with haste versus taking their time and making sure thing are done to standard. I mean, I worked in retail for god sake. My aunt washes dishes all day and that did not happen to her. If you decide to get your nails done in Lakeforest, do yourself a favor and act like you dont even see that establishment.

Worst place I’ve ever been to and the lady left my nails crooked, they told me $30 at first for what I wanted and when they finished she was charging me $40 and then told me I was lucky she wasn’t going to charge me for the “shape” she did to my nails.. even though she did not shape. They’re rude. And they stop taking in people at 7 pm even though they close at 9.

I got to the mall around 8:10pm and as I walked up to the store a man was pulling the sign inside. Mind you I had googled it and it said that they closed at 9pm. I was about to walk in but the man said oh no we are closed. I said well it is not 9pm yet. And he just shooed me away like I was dirt. I told him I have a broken nail and need it fixed asap, he held my finger, looked at it, then said that they were closed and to come back the next day then he turned his back to me. As I walked away, I saw another customer walk in. I will never step foot in that place.

Oh My God,i came for a pedicure on oct.10 2018,the older guy do my pedicure, it is horrible, he doesnt know how to clean,he only scratched little bit,amd never removed any dried skin on the side,and he said his finished cleaning it,the other lady came to help,but still,..i never recommend this place...coming this place is a waste of money,you can clean it better ...stay away from this place...
